Popped in today on my lunch minute to check this place out. It had come very highly recommended as a great local spot. They were right! Super friendly service, chatted with the owner kevin for a bit. I picked up the fresh spring rolls. I devoured them so fast there was no time for a picture. ((Sawwy)) light delicate rice paper wrapped with shrimp, pork, noodles fresh herbs and cucumbers. Mind blowing good. 2 large rolls for under $4.00?! Happy little lady right here.

Came here for dinner on a whim - one of the very, very few times I went somewhere without checking it out on Yelp first. But was not disappointed! We all asked for recommendations and the waiter did a great job. The Pho was huge, and apparently when you ask for it authentically hot, you get it very hot. Caution. The thing that surprised me most was the calamari appetizer. Really good - tender and flavorful. Maybe a little too much breading, but good. And the sauces were great. They have plenty of varieties of Asian beer - but all Budweiser-like. Not bad for a novelty, but not very good beer. Super friendly staff!

I got take-out pho, & it was something akin to sloppy chicken broth with sad looking vegetables. I would definitely recommend you not get pho here, but I can't vouch for the rest of the menu. It might be delicious.

First time order for take out. Wonton soup which was good, broth was very flavorful. Loved the lemongrass chicken and the spring rolls. Wish they had a menu online had to guess since I had never been there. Staff was nice and I Plan to go back.

Bummer. In my quest to try all the pho places in town, this one was disappointing. I came with just my kids at ~6:15 pm--we were the only ones in the place at first. We had a surly young man serving us who seemed a cross between annoyed and ambivalent about having to serve us. I started with a spring roll and both the shrimp and the pork tasted old. Not spoiled, but not fresh. The kids shared a bowl of pho with meatballs and I had the pho with rare beef. The broth was boring--it seemed to be missing the traditional flavors that are usually present, such as the cardamom and cinnamon. It was sort of like drinking tepid bath water. That's another thing, the broth wasn't hot enough to actually cook my meat. My meat only turned a light brown/pink. I like medium rare beef, in general, but I like my pho HOT and this wasn't. I should've sent it back. What a disappointment. I'd been wanting to try this place for some time and now that I have, I'll not be back.

Having just moved here from Dallas, where there is a very large Vietnamese community and a great restaurant selection, I was hesitant to try something new for fear of being disappointed. However, as the weather got colder, I kept craving pho and decided to give this place a try. Everything I have had in the multiple times I've been here since has been amazing. I've had the combination pho (with the tripe and rare beef) as well as the hu tieu nam vang ( pork, shrimp, and egg soup) and both have had very tasty developed broths. They have great bahn mi and the lotus stem salad was fresh, crunchy, and delicious. On top of the great food the service is always very fast and everyone is so friendly and accommodating.

The Lemon Grass chicken & Egg Roll Bahn Salad is the best I have found in New Mexico.

I highly recommend the Banh Mi, Vietnamese sandwich. It is to die for. The bread is absolutely perfect and stuffed with great goodness. The Pho is bold, rich, and flavorful with just the right sweetness. The noodle bowls are fantastic. The catfish is excellent. I could go on and on but honestly you can not go wrong with any of the items on the endless menu. Try something new and you will not be disappointed however make sure to at least take a sandwich to go, it is that good. Authentic and delicious their food is made with passion and pride. Go May Hong!

maybe it was an off day... but wife and I didn't even take home leftovers. Low quality chicken and the dish as a whole reminded me of something that out of a can. Maybe this is just a pho place? Friendly service but I won't be going back...

I love May Hong!! best rice vermicelli noodles in town, so flavorful and delicious. They give you decent sized shrimps to if you order the shrimp vermicelli. Excellent spring rolls as well.

This place makes a great "spicy and sour " soup. Not your typical Chinese hot&sour, this is Vietnamese hot&sour! I ordered the pot of hot and sour catfish soup, comes with catfish, cilantro, sprouts, onions, basil, tomatoes, pinapples, and very traditional Vietnamese sour soups!! Comes with a side of steamed rice. The soup was very tasty, flavorful, authentic , and very much like our vietnamese neighbor use to make! My companion had a tomato stir fir catfish- which he said was tasty! We both shared spring rolls which tasted fresh and crunchy, the peanut sauce made them taste even better. Their soy milk and vienatmese coffee is recommended. The portions are very good, makes good left overs too! This place is very calm, nice place for some privacy with high booths that section off each table, but don't expect any fancy decor.

Tiny little local Vietnamese joint. Not as good as my favorites in San Francisco, but hey... We're in Albuquerque. Pho was decent, vermicelli dish and spring rolls were good enough. I'll go back for more when I'm in the mood for cheap vietnamese.

This is a perfectly passable Pho place. Ask for the meat on the side if you're like me and can't stand overcooked meat in pho. The portions are plentiful, and you're not giong to end up paying more than $10 for your meal. Caveat: Their vegetarian options are terrible. I took 2 ovo-vegetarians there, and all they could eat was the (sub-par) fried rice.

My husband and I love to come here! Not just because it's super close to where we live, but it's also delicous and they give great customer service! We always get the rare beef pho, and an order of the pork and shrimp spring rolls. YUM! To be honest, that's all we've ever tried. Never dissapointed though! The only downside is, they are closed on Sundays. :(

The women's bathroom was dirty and rundown. I equate a bathroom's cleanliness and upkeep equivalent to its kitchen. I stopped going to May Hong, even though I liked their food because of the state of their bathroom--it made me sick to my stomach that I had been eating there--never again.
