Major kudos to these folks! Midafternoon is usually not a great service time, but we were really hungry. I have a gluten allergy and my friend is major allergic to pork. So, safe to say this gives migraines to servers. We not only got just what we needed, we also got it fast, and the (new!) waitress and manager both checked ingredients to be sure it was safe!!!! The taste was wonderful, coffee hot and fresh, and we'll be back!

Oh the eloquence of a 5 year old :) When you have a craving for pancakes, there really is only one place to go, and that is IHOP. They always have something crazy and spectacular on special, but I usually stick with the stuffed french toast w strawberries and whipped cream. Eggs are always cooked just the way I ordered and they serve nice crispy hash browns. Coffee comes in a hot pot on your table so that you don't have to wait for the server to bring you more. The green chile is ok, I always order a side to dump on my eggs. You would think that service will be mediocre at best at a place like IHOP...however...Everytime we come we are pleasantly surprised by all of the staff, from hostess to server. Food is worth 3 stars, service is 5, so I'm giving it a solid 4 stars.

This IHOP is spectacular. The service is great - I had the opportunity to see several servers around me offer kind and attentive service to everyone in my area. My server, Amy was very good. Food was just as I ordered. The kitchen was a little behind as it was a very busy Sat. am but the servers kept everyone informed and offered plenty of coffee during the short wait. I spoke to the Manager before leaving to tell him what a great staff he has. He was very kind and appreciated the feedback. It is obvious he cares about his job and employees. Great experience - will be back.

IHOP is a tradition for our family. We typically go here after doing some sort of labor involved exercise. Whether we are on the road, feasting after a early morning Black Friday scourge, or morning chores at home IHOP makes a nice break/reward. This location fills up fast on the weekends and the staff seem to be all between the ages of 18 and 25. Our hostess forgot to take our names and the wait for seating became a bit of a cluster fluff, but we were seated in about 20 minutes. IHOP is also one of those places that apparently thinks everyone wants lemon in their tea, which we promptly removed from our glasses. The kitchen is bustling with one guy shouting orders on a fairly regular basis. The piped in Muzak cannot be heard over the kitchen dude, and the lively ten top seated next to us with cackling laughter that sounds like a witch's coven. The coffee came in this tiny cup and the waitress did bring a pot, but it had only a small amount of beverage in it...FAIL. It was bitter and a little sour and not the good stuff I drink at home by any stretch of my imagination but it has the most crucial ingredient....caffeine. The food was good as expected but the short stacks every time I come seem to get smaller. It is better to raise the price a little and give people what they expect than to cut them short on the servings.

You can find an IHOP almost anywhere. When you want a big breakfast it's a great place. This IHOP in particular is well managed. The food seems fresher than at other IHOPS. The menu is probably exactly the same everywhere so you're not getting anything different, just good execution. Service is always prompt and attentive.

It's ihop. One of the few places open in Albuquerque past 2 a.m. Typical breakfast stuff. and.. STRAWBERRY NUTELLA CREPES! Ooey gooey goodness. And a nice waiting staff. Granted, most of them have been in jail (they took their break next to our table and had some stories) but that just makes them interesting. Nice staff, great crepes. They always remember us- or at least pretend they do. Which I like. My go to place in the wee morning hours.

IHOP is a chain - but it's a chain that is slightly above other places like Denny's etc. I am merely evaluating it as a breakfast place, but it does have a lunch and dinner menu as well. If you like pancakes, you'll find what you want here. The portions are generous, the food is hot and well-prepared. I find just about everything I've tried on the menu to taste very good. There are traditional egg dishes, french toast, and all the usual breakfast items on the menu. But - (there's always a but!) The service is S L O W!!! I mean really slow. I've never gotten out of this place in under 45 minutes and I am a quick eater. I don't know if they are understaffed or their process bad, but if you are in any kind of a hurry or have ANY kind of deadline, drive right on by. If you have time to kill, then no harm no foul. The other thing to know is that the food is good but it's also expensive. Not horribly so. But about 15-20% higher than you would expect and could get at local dining establishments which offer breakfast. I will eat breakfast here every five to six weeks just for a change. I can afford it. I'd like it better if it were a little cheaper. And I'd like it better still if the staff could learn to move more quickly or fix their process so people aren't waiting forever to get served.

In addition to the lack of good articulate customer service- we were rushed out- even though my BFF wanted to try the crispy banana cheesecake. The waiter appeared very put-off by the request and moments later stated they had no such dessert :-/ Not cool

As for the restaurant and its quality... It's Ok. Always better late night after a night out My visit today wasn't the best. The dirtiest guy was there complaining about everything! I've seen homeless people who were cleaner! Anyway, there was new menu items and the prices are decent. Not really happy about being charged a $1.00 to add onions on my burger. The manager was cooking and she seemed to mess something up on everyones orders. Not big mess ups, but it was something to piss off most the people in there. Our waiter was cool and although he felt the repercussions of the cooks inability to get things right, he did his best to apologize and make things copacetic.

I love the Ihop menu, the generous portions and the great prices. That alone should earn them a 5 stars review. HOWEVER, it is the inconsistency in the experience they offer what is taking some stars away from this review. It seems that Saturday/Sunday mornings or that effect, whenever the manager is around, are good times to be at Ihop. Then, the food and experience are very enjoyable. A couple of weeks ago I went on a Friday morning and I did not see the manager walking around as usual. The result: the staff seemed honestly asleep. The food was sloppy, the service was sloppy and the dining rooms looked sloppy. I was so disappointed.

Went for late breakfast during Balloon Fiesta. Wait was extremely long and unorganized before being seated. Service was awful, and waited 40 minutes for food after ordering. Filthy bathrooms. Granted it was on one of the busiest mornings of the year, and the other restaurants seemed packed, but this experience alone left me promising to never, ever return!
