Went here for lunch the other day. The price was right but there were a few problems. First of all, the line for ordering really needs to somehow get expedited. The line wasn't too long but I think we were standing there for 15-20 minutes before we got to order, as we gazed longingly at the many empty tables where we could sit, sometime, hopefully. The gyros and hummus did arrive mercifully soon after we sat down. However, the hummus was not to my liking. Perhaps too much lemon and not enough tahini or garlic. Not that rich texture that I like. The gyro meat wasn't really to my liking either, though it wasn't bad. My companion liked it fine, so I suppose it's a matter of taste. However, the pita bread was great! Nice and soft. So good job on that.

The frontier was too busy one night so we ducked in here. The prices are very good, but the quality of food was not as good as Olympia, IMHO. The Gyros were really greasy, and only had 1/4 chunk of tomato...really? The salad was really good but I wasn't too impressed with those chip things. No flavor at all. I WILL go here again, I will just know to ask for extra tomatoes, sauce and no chips. But the prices were great.

Gyros is a pretty good place. Not nearly as good as Olympia, but definitely not bad. The one area where Gyros beats out Olympia is that they consistently have a really good salad with better lettuce and big slices of tomato. Great dressing too. The reason to come here is to get the fried potato chip things (patates I think they're called on the menu?). Ridiculously delicious, crunchy, just fried, thinly sliced, potato chips you can dip in tzatziki sauce. So good. The other reason I come here is because their proximity between my house and the airport makes them the perfect take-out spot for when you get into town at night after a long day at the airport.

Yummy and affordable. We go here for dinner semi-regularly and are never disappointed. Then again, we always get the same thing. I'm surprised that others have had not-so-good experiences, but I guess I'll keep getting the Gyro plate (with potatoes and salad) and Dolmas. I've had the same items from Olympia and been disappointed; Gyros has better food and better prices.

They were actually "out" of the thing I wanted, so I opted for a falafel pita. They serve it in the strangest way with the falafel separate from the pita which is cut in half and all the veggies on the side. If I wanted to make my own sandwich I would buy the stuff at the store and make it at home. Way over priced for the quality and quantity. I may try this place again just to see if the other stuff on their menu sucks as much as their falafel pita, otherwise I have no desire to go back here on a regular basis.
