El Sarape's South Valley sister is a tasty sheep in wolf's clothing. The exterior isn't exactly inviting--takes a minute to figure out how to get in---but your spirit of adventure will be rewarded once you walk in. Plants, sunny windows, papel picado and artwork liven up a rather large, empty-ish space, and the complimentary chips and salsa will get your tongue's attention. Their steak nachos are just as huge and delicious as the Central location, with all the comfortable trappings of a neighborhood spot to surround you. Complete your meal with a beer or agua fresca, and pat yourself on the back for discovering this hidden treasure.

I must say the beef enchiladas were great. The complimentary chips and salsa were tasty. Others in my group had the Soft Chicken Tacos and Beef Fajitas. The both of my friends thought the dishes were great. And from my view their dishes did looked tasty. Plate size is big for ~10 dollars a plate. But be warned, the wait staff solamente hablan espanol.
