Went to their Friday night special event cup cake and champagne. It was a BALL. Nice group of people, the food was outstanding and the cup cake decorating was fun. And for the record, I am not a fun guy. This was terrific date night/get your friends together night. I will attend again. Rachael the owner, and her crew do a great job of making Friday nights fun. I also have had numerous delicious lunch at their restaurant.

Being from Portlandia- I'm always looking for quality eateries. Easily the coolest place to eat in ABQ! Don't miss this spot. Forget the chains and get some real food. I'll be back!

I've eaten at Delish three times and drew the same conclusion each time: the food is imaginative, flavorful, and somewhat expensive by Albuquerque standards. I had two breakfasts and a lunch there. On my first trip I had the banana bread french toast topped with bananas Foster. It had excellent flavor, being very rich & pungent with the banana taste really kicking in. The taste was intense enough that it did not wear thin as I ate the dish. It was good to the last bite! For mopping up syrup from the plate, I found the texture a little delicate due to banana bread having a much less robust crumb than more typically used breads. I acknowledge that that is a very minor nit to pick and is easily dismissed by the nature of the constituent ingredient. The ham that came with the french toast was a miss in my book: weak flavor, dry, tough rind (unchewable to me), and a very small portion. At an $11 price point for a two item breakfast entree, generosity of portions is expected. The three thick slices of french toast delivered. The two diminutive wedges of ham did not. TIP: I recommend to *NOT* use the included maple syrup on the banana bread french toast. In my experience it diluted immensely the banana flavor from the dish. Just eat the french toast with the bananas Foster topping as delivered to the table for maximum banana joy. My second breakfast was the apple puff pancake, with a generous layer of just-softer-than-al-dente apple wedges blanketing the top. The fruit's texture was spot on the mark! Again, excellent flavor. The pancake itself was more of a bread consistency (like sopapilla almost) than IHOP type pancake. If you've had Dutch pancakes, it was like that. Serving it in an 8-inch cast iron skillet kept it warm throughout the time I was eating it. Great idea. The two strips of thin sliced bacon that came as a side dish were crisp fried and served as an excellent complement to the sweetness of the apple pancake. At one breakfast I had coffee that was good & very conscientiously refilled when the level fell to about the half-empty mark. At the other breakfast they accomodated my request for a 50-50 mix of orange juice & cranberry juice as my drink. It turned out to be quite good. The lunch I had was their Yelp promo burger which was very tasty & with their home made chips was a very generous sized meal. I again had the 50-50 OJ & cranberry juice as my beverage, as good tasting as the previous occasion. The loss of a star from an otherwise outstanding venue (and there is LOTS to like at Delish) is due to the paucity of quality & quantity in the ham I had, the cold hard feel of metal non-upholstered chairs (bad if you are a lingering diner, as I often am), and a price point overall that seems a couple dollars high for ABQ area, in spite of the quality of their novel recipes & excellent execution on the majority of the dishes I've had there. I'd give 4.5 stars if I could. I intend to continue eating at Delish and will adjust ratings if deemed appropriate. I recommend you check out Delish as a candidate for your westside dining.

Delish is well as the name says delish! Finally gave this place a shot after passing by it about 20 times and then reading the reviews on yelp. Took the little one out for a dad and daughter luncheon. She had the kids grilled cheese and I had the California chicken sandwich. And they were...awesome. My plate came with a side of homemade root vegetable chips. And the sandwich was to die for. I don't think that it took me more than 10 minutes to gobble this whole plate up because it was so good. What really did it for me was the chipotle sauce on the sandwich. My little one loved her meal as well. It came with a kids drink and a side of fresh berries. And this was a rare occasion because she usually doesn't finish her whole plate but cleaned up here. My only complaint is that I wish they would use their talents and add a few more menu offerings but hey, I won't let that take anything away from them. Keep it delish Delish!

Since moving to the Westside of Albuquerque in May of 2014 from our usual hangout spot in Nob Hill, my family and I have been on a constant search for delicious local fare. Let's just say it hasn't been easy since the Westside (Cottonwood area) is what we call "The Home of the Big Box!". This morning, I was out with my mom running a errands in the area where Delish is located. It was already 10am and I was starving since I started my day at 6am. I said, 'Hey, do you want to grab some brunch?' So we did, brunch it was at Delish. Now, I am familiar with Delish and the Sassy Apron, as I appeared on the Morning Brew the same day as the owner, Rachel. Also, I receive advertisements in my Facebook feed for the different unique dinner and entertainment combos, and of course have done my research...hence my want to try out this restaurant. Upon entering, we were pleasantly greeted by the waitress and wonderful aromas. We were able to sit down immediately. Let me start by saying that my background is originally rooted in Architecture and Design and even though the atmosphere/design of a restaurant and the food are two different things, the atmosphere in a restaurant can have a profound effect on how one feels about the food. With that being said, the restaurant is well decorated and there is ample natural lighting. Although well decorated, the atmosphere still felt a bit vacuous and a little chilly. However, how the food tastes is the matter at hand, so let's get to it. I ordered the The Sassy, which can either be served as a burrito or a skillet. Since I am not consuming much wheat these days, I chose the skillet. The ingredients are as follows: Eggs, Cheddar, Potatoes, Carne Adovada, and Tempura Fried Avocado. I chose over medium eggs and to smother it in red and green chile. Within about 15 minutes, I was chowing down! The Sassy came out in an actual cast iron skillet. Both the red and green chile were both extremely flavorful, the potatoes had a crisp exterior and soft interior, the two over-medium eggs were cooked perfectly and the carne adovada bursted with flavor. I could only eat half of my order, but all in all, this meal was, without a doubt, delicious. My mom ordered the Green Eggs and Ham. The ingredients are as follows: Scrambled Spinach & Basil Eggs, Boar's Head Maple Brown Sugar Ham, Potatoes and Cheddar Cheese. She chose to have it smothered in green chile. Of course I had to taste it! This dish was also served in a cast iron skillet. The eggs were very flavorful, as well as soft and fluffy. I loved the basil in the eggs! What a great idea. The maple brown sugar ham mixed with the green chile was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. As with my dish, the potatoes were crisp on the exterior and had a soft interior. Perfect potatoes. All of this topped with just the right amount of cheese; it didn't string out of my mouth which made me very happy! The waitress was very attentive and was right on time with our check (which is very important to me). I would definitely recommend Delish to everyone and I can not wait to go back, take my family, and try more dishes! Thank you so much for great food and service!! I ran into Howie this morning at fight club. As you know, I can't talk about that. What I can tell you, though, is that he suggested I check out the Yelp Burger Binge special over at Delish. I wanted him to come with me, but he had to get his eyebrows threaded or something. He's on TV, you know. After wasting precious minutes of my short short life driving into parking lot dead ends - like a mouse looking for the cheese, blocked, turn around, go back, blocked, there it is but you can't get there from here - I found it. Its a very cute space, with a long communal table for 20 in the middle and smaller 4 tops all around. Good windows, great light, blues and greens, beaded chandeliers, wood table tops with metal frames. I was really comfortable at the long table where I could watch everything. My special Burger was a topless mac and cheese with house made chips. The mac was made with small pasta, tiny little ones that were perfect to go on top of a burger. Cheese, bacon, jalapeno, some onion but not too much. I love it and I don't like having a top bun anyway so it was perfect for me. My burger with a green tea was $8.01. Can't beat that! Get in here and let me know what you think.

This place was totally amazing! The food was so tasty! The bread was so delicious on the turkey grilled cheese! The pear soup was so fresh and the candied walnut salad was divine! I can't wait to go back! I really want to try their breakfast! Also the hummus and veggies were so crispy and fresh! The service is top notch! You gotta try this place if you haven't already! Our waitress was so nice and helpful! She was running and kept our table clean and serviced!

So glad to find Delish! My husband and I were looking for a new breakfast option and stumbled across Delish. The menu is very unique and we had a hard time deciding because everything looked and sounded so good! We settled on two skillets and we're thrilled! Flavors were really clean and spot-on! I can't wait to go back to try the puffed pancakes and French toast! The only draw back is price- a great place for a casual special occasion but a little too steep for it to be a regular favorite.

I have been mulling over this review for days, not sure what to do or what to say. I saw something on Facebook about a night of sake (which they misspelled saki) and sushi rolling for $40 a person. I immediately reserved a spot for me and my lady with great expectations and excitement. We LOVE sushi, eat it frequently and even make it at home. We were also excited to try different types of sake as it is not something we normally drink. We get to the restaurant and our excitement grew. The ladies were wonderful and the decor was beautiful. Eclectic and different, lots of fun. At the table was a glass with a nice arrangement of berries and fruits at the bottom and a sushi rolling mat. A menu was brought to us with a choice of 5 different rolls we could choose from to roll ourselves, and then descriptions of a roll sample platter we would be given as well. Our "sake sangria" was served, which I am pretty sure was just orange juice. As the distinct flavor of sake was completely missing. Appetizer of tempura fried veggies was next. Tasty but served cold, almost refrigerator cold. There were 21 people in attendance. They served everyone so slowly that some of the tables were completely done with their appetizer before others even got theirs. Half of us then went on to sake tasting while the other half went to learn how to properly make a sushi roll. Three different kinds of sake were presented, we all were served about 1 ounce each. Hardly enough to get a good taste. The gentleman teaching us seemed extremely unfamiliar to sake which kind of made the whole thing very awkward. He then proceeded to show us how to do a sake bomb, and then shooshed us away to the other side of the restaurant all wanting to do one of our own...maybe that will come with dinner. Surely more sake would. A young man then proceeded to teach us as elementary students about sushi rice. He rolled two rolls. Both being about half an inch in diameter, if that. He used meat from a crab claw wich was also a bit odd. We sampled his and the taste of rice wine vinegar and sugar in the rice was overwhelming. We sat down, hoping that all the awkwardness would be done and we could now enjoy making our own rolls. And then our plates arrived. This is the point that I should have questioned what the heck was going on, but I felt that would have been rude as they seemed so proud and happy to be having this evening prepared for us. On my plate was a big ball of rice, a piece of nori, a few thin slices of jalapeno, and the smallest, driest piece of salmon I have ever seen...to top it off, it was cooked, and far too much. No way did they think we were supposed to make a roll out of this, did they??? They did. The rice, to me, was inedible. I could smell the vinegar from three feet away. On top of that, we had to wait for someone to come around and cut our rolls as they "had served us such sake it wouldn't be safe" if we cut our own, again back to elementary school. So about 26 minutes late, he comes and cuts our rolls, cleans his cutting board not with the towel he has, but with the blade of the knife and asks if we would like soda or water. So much for sake. The 3 drops we got before was what we got. Our platter was served, and when I asked what each roll contained they weren't quite sure right away. When they told me one of them was ahi tuna, I knew this had been a big let down. I've never seen translucent ahi tuna before, but hey...who knows. We quietly left before it was over. We were both himgry, frustrated, and extremely confused by the two hours we just sat through. I would give no stars. But regardless of how clueless they were to sushi, sake and serving in a timely manner, they were pretty darn nice. This place has a ton of potential, and the other reviews seem to look great. It is local and I'm guessing new and family operated. I am just in shock that they would serve what they did. I posted pics of the "make your own roll".

I have dined here many times since they opened their doors and can only say it doesn't get much better than this. The staff are great as well as the owners who seem to run on endless energy. But it's the food that is outstanding. Always a tweak on the taste buds. Something new exciting to taste and not the same old boring food. Wonderful plating. Pleasant atmosphere. Can' wait for the next meal at this fantastic restaurant.

One of my favorite places to grab breakfast or lunch. Service is excellent every time. Delish serves a dark roast delicious coffee that is perfect every cup. The banana bread french toast was amazing and for lunch their salads are freshly made. A definite place to stop in when you're on the west side.

OMG! Homemade biscuits and gravy!! Trust me- I'm a southerner! It's incredibly hard to find biscuits and gravy that don't taste 'floury'-- these are simply DELISH! The biscuit and gravy is layered with eggs ( any style) and.... Wait for it..... BACON!! There's potatoes too. I'm happy to find a place that makes biscuits and gravy as good, even better than my grandmas!!

Very quiet~ cafe had a Industrial meets Shabby Chic feel. :)) . Very decedent chandiliers hung from ceilings-- the only touch missing was some flowers in vases !! Boudoir Chairs made our table exceptionally romantic~ though I was with a GF not husband she probably appreciated it more lol We both had the Tomato a bisque Soup and Sandwich with Brie Cheese and roasted apples. For a dismal Fall Day it hit the spot!! Dessert we split a Chimichanga that had Cheesecake inside smothered with sweet cinnamon and sugar, on plate was some diced strawberries with cream!! Very Delish!! Looking forward to trying Dinner menu next time I go. Hopeful business picks up, seemed a bit quiet for lunch hrs. Staff was attentive ( I think it was the owner ) doing it all!!

I am all about supporting new, local restaurants so my husband and I popped right over to this new spot whose website promises "a new sassy eating experience" (the catchphrase no doubt an extension of title of the owner's other business the Sassy Apron catering which is right next door). Upon walking in, we were both super impressed by the decor--a lot of thought and research went into making this spot into a cool, chic environment. I was shocked to find this type of atmosphere on the westside. Cleverly arranged doors provide beautiful blocks of color on one wall, while strings of portofino lights alternate with chandeliers to provide a soft ambiance of light. They have a clear "hang out" section with some couches and, wait for it, one of them swings... Thank goodness the food lived up to such a cool spot. I had the Red BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich, the right balance of spicy and sweet. I got the Strawberry Salad as a side which was delicious--the strawberry dressing was too sweet and too much though. I would suggest getting maybe a balsamic vinaigrette. Hubby got the Rueben--the meat was so tender and beautifully paired a tangy sauce. YUM. We were too full for desert but FYI they have a cupcake selection. Oh and they sell macaroons by the dozen... What are you waiting for?? Show this place and your tummy some love.

Breakfast: If you're looking for top notch, fresh ingredients -correctly prepared- Delish is the place for you. The ambience is quirky fun with a door theme. My server was an excellent and attentive, without being intrusive. I had a the blueberry ableskivvers. They are Danish pancake balls filled with ricotta cheese and blueberries. The coffee was absolutely wonderful if you like strong coffee. A nice touch-they use genuine heavy cream, so you don't need much. This is not the place to go if you are looking for huge portions. If you are looking for a refined, upscale experience, give it a try

When I walked in I felt like I was in a warehouse or showroom. But once I was seated all of that went away. Cozy and comfortable atmosphere. I recommend the mango lemonade it was the best ever. The Ruben was good, I want to say great but there wasn't add much sauce as I would have preferred. Strawberry salad and tomato soup were excellent. Me and my fiance were both disappointed that the table next to us were offered desert and we were not. Oh well maybe next time. I won't hold that against my rating this time.

I'll start by saying that I came in for a dinner service. I was a bit shocked at how limited the dinner menu was. I was hoping to get a dinner sandwich, but there are none offered during their evening hours it seems. My first impression of the place was that it was a quaint restaurant with a great decor and nice atmosphere. The tables were huge for just two people, but they were stylish and set well with the restaurant. I ordered their Spaghetti Pie and my fiance ordered the mushroom and bacon salad with chicken. The salad was fantastic, nice aromatic smell and a great dressing to go on top. The chicken was seasoned very well and the bacon cooked to a nice crisp. The Spaghetti Pie was a different story. They take spaghetti and meatballs and wrap it in a puff pastry, baking it so that it'll be crispy on the outside and creamy with sauce on the inside. Though I understand the use of puff pastry well, this was not a good application of it. My pastry was extremely mushy and gooey on the inside due to the moisture from the sauce, of course. The sauce tasted like it came from a can. It tasted extremely sweet and had barely any flavor in it. Some more tomato paste, maybe crushed tomatoes, and more salt and pepper would be a great addition to the sauce. I also only received ONE meatball in my humongous Spaghetti Pie. My waitress attended to my lack of protein needs and brought 3 more for me. Unfortunately, they were dry and small. 4 meatballs for that whole pie would not have been enough in my opinion. The Spaghetti Pie in general didn't seem like it could be more than a concept idea for me. You get carbs upon carbs, and spaghetti with a mushy pastry. I would have preferred a Spaghetti plate with 4-5 meatballs and parmesan on top with parsley for garnish. I'll definitely stay away from the Pie next time. I still like this restaurant but hope they can incorporate some sandwich items onto their dinner menu... actually, a bigger dinner menu would be welcome as well. I didn't have a chance at their desserts like some people said, so I'll have to try those next time. Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 4/5 Food: 2/5

I recently went here for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised! I was a little bit skeptical that it wouldn't be good because there wasn't a single person in the place...but that was probably because I ate around 11:25am. I ordered the Crab Louie and it was soo BOMB! totally hit the spot, and the price was right! Although everything on the menu looked...shall I say DELISH. My meal was fresh, well balanced and came quickly. The entire staff was really friendly and you could tell put a lot of thought into the food and ambiance. More people started to come in as I was leaving. I really hope the people of ABQ support this place because it's really a great gem and would be shame to lose.

I have eaten @ Delish different times. Each time I've thoroughly enjoyed the food and the ambience. As soon as you walk in the decor will peek ur appetite and interest! I would have given it 5 starts however the service is lacking! I was treated as if I was bothering the staff if I had questions about the food and when asking for refills?! But I will go back because I love the food, I also enjoy supporting local businesses!

The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because my daughter's burger is over cooked. Other than that, the Crab Louie (sp?) is delicious, as is my Mediterranean side salad. The lady next to me ordered a chicken Caesar that is huge and looks incredible. She's tearing it up. It must be pretty darn good. It's a cute spot to have lunch and the service is great. The two ladies running this place are doing a great job with a full house. I'm definitely coming back.

Went for lunch with the girls and had a great time. We all ordered something different and everyone loved the food. Great atmosphere and service. Love the decor there. The only complaint is that parking is a little tight if you have a larger vehicle. But that's completely tolerable when the food and service are so good. Prices are as expected and portion size was good. Definitely going to visit them again.

We were very excited to try this restaurant. We went for lunch on a Monday, around 11:30. There was no one at the Hostess stand when we arrived. We waited for a bit, thinking someone would come out to seat us. We waited longer. And longer. Finally, my husband went to the other side of the restaurant and found someone to seat us. After being seated, we realized we were given two different menus by mistake, one breakfast and one lunch. The hostess brought us another lunch menu when we inquired. The food took a bit to arrive, but was tasty. Overall, for the wait, food and price, I think it was just average.

Wonderful experience! There were three of us, so we all ordered something different. Green Chile Cheeseburger, Red Chile Pulled Pork BBQ, and Spaghetti Pie. All three were served hot and delicious. Fun decor, happy staff, good pricing! Would highly recommend lunch. We are anxious to try breakfast. Give it a try yourself! Happy Eating!

The food was fantastic and carefully crafted. The server; however messed up two of the four orders. I ate mine instead of waiting for it to be corrected. My wife sent her's back to be corrected. This is the second time in three visits that this has happened. I would definitely ask the server to repeat your order to you before she leaves your table. The atmosphere on Sunday morning was a little cold and uninviting. No music and cold chairs. But, back to the food....... It was wonderful!

We are at Delish last night. I had the salmon and really liked it. Flavorful ... The a "boy band" came in to practice and it created a fun atmosphere. I think you should give this place a try.

Saw the Boarshead sign in the window and figured the essential ingredients would be of good quality. Ordered a hot pastrami to go, provolone, lettuce, mayo and mustard and upgraded from chips to pasta salad. 5-8 minutes later I paid $12.82 and headed out the door. Should have checked my order. No lettuce, mayo, or mustard (none on the side), no utensils or napkins, and the small pasta salad was served in a container that was twice it's size and had some odd red peppers and olives sitting at the bottom, and was rather dry to my taste. I drove past two Dion's Pizzas to come to this place and could have saved over $6.00 and a bit of gas and time----and got a much better sandwich. Yes, the French roll was good by Albuquerque standards, pastrami tasted right----but it was small, overpriced, and the order was incorrect. They've just opened up their dining area, and will really need to get their act together if they're to succeed in a very competitive arena, with more competition coming (MiTucci's, nearby microbreweries, etc.)

This place is great! From the "door" wall to the awesome food. The strawberry bruschetta was great followed by their chicken pot pie. We also tried their pistachio chicken and it was crunchy and juice. Definitely going back!!

Went there for lunch on Sunday at 11:40. Wasn't too busy. Seems like there were only two servers, but sevice was adequate. Nice open atmosphere. Had the Croquemadame with Ceasar salad and Crab Louie sandwich, both were good. Kind of pricey, but I'd go again in a month or two.

This restaurant is wonderful. The atmosphere is so inviting and the staff is equally nice. The food was wonderful. The menu is unique and classy. It reminds me of a wonderful high class bistro. I will definitely become a regular.

The dining area was a lot nicer than the outside image portrays. It has a nice atmosphere. I had the pistachio crusted chicken. My wife had the red chili shrimp pasta. Both dishes were great. I will come back again.

Cute place! Great menu! We had hamburgers and they were very good, this would have been 4 starts but it is pretty spendy for hamburgers. I had the green chile cheese burger which was good but the green chile still had the stem on it and I found that off putting. Hubby had the fried avocado burger and enjoyed it. The home made potato chips were good and bad. The white potato chips were good and there were burnt chips among them, not good. They had sweet potato chips as well mixed in and they were over cooked too. Other food looked tasty and we would give this place another try.

I had a "grilled cheese" sandwich, of course by grilled cheese I mean Roast Beef. What they call grilled cheese are four distinct sandwiches (roast beef, rueban, etc.) with sweet potatoe wedges. The sandwich was wonderful and surprised the wedges were lightly dusted with cinnamon sugar. We're going to try their valentine dinner (dinner with wine pairing) as the menu looked great. I'll update after Valentines dinner but overheard everyone saying how wonderful their food was. Also noticed they had many regulars. Atmosphere was definately created for the feminine crowd (there were many men there) and as my wife commented finally a alternative for woman other than a microbrewery. They have a twenty foot plus table so large group/event would work here. Delish has a good foundation to become a great restaurant with fresh unique food somewhere between Flying Star and Red Robin. Just awesome. Excellent experience. Food was exceptional. I got the New Mexico Breakfast Burrito and was not disappointed. The green chile sauce is unlike any you've had in NM. Sorta sweet but true Green chile taste. My wife got the Croque Madame which is, in short, the eggs Benedict. Next time I go I will get the Croque Madame. The service was good as well and its a very nice, eclectic sort of place.

Went for lunch with an impromptu group of 8. They had the perfect table for us. The service was very good as was the food. For lunch, the prices seemed a little high, however the food quality also was high. The strawberry salad was a hit, the Reuben, too. The bbq sandwich also a winner. Everyone at the table liked their food and the atmosphere.
