MMMM BOBA. The details of Boba Tea Company are left to the imagination. I'm going to raise my hand and say I'm all in favor of what is probably the most California thing taking up a small piece of the Duke City. I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with Lychee slices and can't really complain. I suppose it's an acquired taste if you've never tried this stuff before, but given how hot it gets in New Mexico during the summer, this is a sure way to cool off. Ice-cold drinks with unique tastes and combinations? Yes, you better.

I go here when I need a boba fix because there really aren't too many other alternatives. This California girl craves boba quite often, and the boba here is decent. Their menu, on the other hand, is almost comically complicated. That is why I always order a custom drink. Who has time to read that?

I love the Tease if I am getting a warm drink and the Berry Sexy if I am getting a cold one. I have special requests sometimes and they always get them right. I never have to wait long and I am always greeted instantly when I walk in. The drinks are very sugary so they are a treat, not a daily ritual. Love them!

Ummm...sugar overload. I don't know what to think about Boba Tea Company. I like the tea...and oh how I love that yummy boba...but man, these drinks are sweet. Great place for a treat once in awhile....but it sucks coming down from that sugar rush. I only visit once or twice a year. I like how they give you 50% off of your drink if you bring in your movie ticket stub from the last 24 hrs. I also like how they will do "twins" and split your tea into two 14oz cups so you and a friend can share.

Always friendly, always fast, and always tasty. In the winter the hot tea hits the spot and in the summer a frozen tea can't be beat. The gobi is top notch, the nunu is pretty darn tasty, and the boba is good. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting boba tea.

Absolutely incredible I try something different each time and I have never been disappointed. I just had my very first one a few months ago and now I'm hooked.

I've tasted a good share of bubble tea from Florida to California to Taiwan. This place is A- OK. First off, the space is small, so don't expect to come here to hang out and get work done. Second, the menu is very confusing- they use strange names that is hard to decipher without some help from the staff. I had the Kimono which is your standard, powder- tasting bubble tea (green tea with honey and creamer) with peach jelly. The jelly was good, and they give you a good amount. You can ask them to go easy on the ice. Just over $5. I was a bit peeved that I had told the cashier that I was a first- time customer, and he didn't bother to tell me about the frequent- flyer card. I had to ask about it after I made the purchase, and then he told he couldn't add my order to the card. So warning- ask for the card BEFORE ordering.

As sweet as the tea may taste behind the scenes at Boba it is really quite bitter. I know quite a few people who have worked at boba tea so I got to hear a lot of the horror stories that came out of there. Last year the company tried to fire a young girl because she was pregnant. And uproar started because the other employees thought that was wrong and a few of them quite as a form of protest. This isn't even the worst of it. Boba tea company is a large corporation hiding behind the glory of being local. This company is going to continue getting larger and continue taking advantage of their har

I really like boba tea drinks. The problem I have with this store is that they frequently mess up your order it you want a little change (ie ask for them to add bobas or change the flavor of the gobo/nunu from the standard one). About half of my visits, The staff has not been very friendly.

Let me tell you why 2 stars.... I drink boba almost everyday. This place, very cute and modern, also expensive. The girl who was working, very nice and smiley. You pay $4-5 for a boba drink, and after 3 minutes of drinking it, I realized they had put ice almost all the way to the top. It was very disappointing. I don't mind paying $5 for a boba as we do for a fancy coffee, but don't put all ice, and little liquid. You can't even get to bobas because ice cubes are in the way. I am willing to change this review if they change their procedure. Meanwhile, you should just look up Vietnamese/Asian places for a boba drink because it will be reasonable and it won't be all ice.

If you love tea, and boba....you will be in heaven! Imagine my excitement when I got to meet their first manager and talk about the company and their menu choices. Sure, you will be lost in the 96 item menu, but I took it as a challenge....to try as many flavors as I could. I was only in ABQ for 50 days, so it was truly a challenge. My favorite by far came from the HotTea menu: Bliss with boba on the side. It is a heavenly blend of Longan tea and vanilla, in a perfect loose leaf tea concoction, and if you slip a few forbidden boba in there and sip it gently with a straw....you will see why it is called Bliss! I really miss this place, someone please ship some teas to Pittsburgh!

Alright, about 6 months after my first visit I thought I'd give Boba Tea Co another try. I mean, I need to support a local company, right? Sigh... Here are my 3 beefs with Boba Tea Co: *BOBA: The boba makes or breaks the drink. And come on, this place is named after their boba. The pearls were hard and tasteless again. So bad. At least they are consistent? *Ice: My drink was all ice and no drink. Big no no. *Price: I went for happy hour, 25% off, and paid $5 for a thai iced tea with boba. And it wasn't even good. If you go to other bubble tea places in the country or even in Albuquerque, you will soon realize how mediocre this place is. Fix your boba!! Softer/chewier and with some flavor please!

I love the drinks at Boba Tea Co but the service was a bit lacking the last couple times I went. It was very busy and thus slow... And it tends to get really loud when they're making drinks. I also happened to be sitting in an employee interview, which was interesting...

I like the taste of their teas the most. If you don't know what bobas are they will make or break how you feel about this place. I don't think that mixing the coffee drinks with boba is a good idea for anyone. If you get an iced drink you will be missing out as it always ends up tasting watered down. I like the atmosphere however sometimes the music videos have had a little too much skin for my kiddos. The price is alright but I wouldn't spend this much on a drink on a regular basis. I usually stop in for a treat and feel good about supporting a local business!

I just wandered into this place because I was dying of thirst and thought I may perish if I didn't stop for a drink. I really liked the atmosphere of the shop, it was very modern and the place was spotless. I ordered one of the iced drinks, which was probably a mistake because when I saw others ordering the blended teas I got super jealous. Regardless, my tea was amazing and the staff was super friendly. I definitely plan on going back to try more flavors.

Never will you find a more courteous and knowledgeable group of boba pervayers than at Boba Tea Company.

The sweetened white tea was a way too sweet for my taste and the unsweetened green tea tasted like soap. I wasn't impressed but these were the only things I tried.

The same people who own Cafe O own this place. The bubble tea is pretty great. And the atmosphere is definitely cool and hip. I wish they had a store in Denver.

One of my favorite places to go when i/m in ABQ. The Teas have great Flavor and big generous helping of delicious Boba. Luv it! I love the Interior design of the shop also.

I like Boba Tea to the point of feeling sinful. As a result, I'm easy to please. I've been here before and know that Boba Tea Company can satisfy my addiction. So when I stopped in during my last Albuquerque stint, I wasn't worried of suffering withdrawal. Maybe I caught them on a bad night, but their register was down and they only accepted cash. Shame on me for not having any on hand. What irked me, however, was they waited until after my party finished ordering before they informed me of their situation. And I must second Irene S' comment; the menu is more complicated than it needs to be... so ordering was not a cut and dry ordeal. I'll still return because I have faith in second chances... at least when it comes to Boba Tea in an area with limited options.

Stopped here for a quick boba fix before our long drive back to California. I should probably venture out, but my go-to drink is usually always a Jasmine milk tea. I was completely bummed when I found out they didn't even offer a basic Jasmine milk tea here. I just opted for a matcha green tea made with half and half instead. It was a little too sweet and I barely tasted any matcha. Drinks were also a little overpriced at almost $5 for a small (hug).
