I visitied this diner a couple of weeks ago for the first time for a business breakfast and all seemd great so I decided to take my family there this Sunday morning. I must say that our overall experience today was very dissapointing. My husband and kids ordered the stuffed french toast with toppings meal and I just ordered a basic breakfast. Everything seemed to be going ok until the breakfast was brought out-the stuffed french toast came out with no whipped cream but was later added because we were asked if we wanted whipped cream. My husband's plate of eggs came out with no hash browns and completely cold, so for the first time ever he had to send his breakfast back. Service was poor-I had to ask for my coffee to be refilled and the 2nd cup tasted horrible-looked like strong tea when it was poured into my cup. My son wanted ketchup because none was offered when the food came out so we asked for that when another waitress came to our table because our server was MIA. THEN the check came and upon my review I saw that we were charged extra for the toppings for the stuffed french toast?? Last time I ordered the same meal I was not charged extra for the topping as according to their menu it is included. Our waitress was missing again so the other young lady came to clear our table and when I asked her about the extra charge she took the bill and agreed that we should not have been charged extra for the toppings -she said that she would have her manager fix the bill. After a little while our waitress came to the table trying to tell us that the toppings were extra because the menu stated that the "stuffed french toast came topped with a choice of topping" ??? DAH-she tried to explain that if the menu stated "top" then it would have been included-did not get that explanation one bit. After another few minutes a young lady came to our table and said that she corrected our bill and that rather than taking off the topping cost for the 3 combo breakfasts she took one of the meals off completely which I thought was nice. I handed her my credit card and waited another 5 minutes so we decided to go up front and just sign for the bill there. They finally handed me my credit card an the slip to sign and AGAIN now the lady that fixed my bill tried to explain the toppings were extra. I think that based on this visit I will stick with the local diners that I have been frequenting over the years and stay away from this place.
