First off its RIGHT off the freeway. Its a HUGE venue/club/karaoke/nightlife spot. I walked in and my friend got patted down (I felt safe). There is a bar in the inside, outside, and servers throughout ensuring you don't need drinks and food. We had went outside to order and didn't realize when a cup is over the draft beer that means its out (yep I don't drink beer). With that being said we 0had to go inside and get the beer. It was cold, crisp, and delightful. When we sat down we were approached by a young gentlemen who asked if we were hungry and dropped off two menus. Surprisingly enough I wasn't. After an hour of hanging out we decided its best we do get some food. We ordered this Picante (Mixed veggies, meats (sausage, chicken, steak, plantains, and these circle potatoes/starchy delicious things). I mean honestly I have been craving it ever since. It was very well seasoned and delicious. OH my... You know me....Of coarse I people watched. There was a birthday, the sang, drank bottles with sparklers, and were the life of the party on a Tuesday. I have to say I would love to come back and go dancing. OH don't worry we definitely did a little shake. OMG! I almost forgot the BEST part. Tuesday is Karoke night. It was the best part of the night. Good and Bad singers. It was an interesting mix too. I love the MC and the Karaoke man who lead everything. Overall a great night. If your in the area, please check it out. Also available; LARGE screen TV for games Cabana Style seating when your in the mood for nightlife. (bottle min.) Outdoor Seating People Watching Dress to Impress & Casual Dress

....Where to start with this one.... I don't really know what it is. So I obviously looked this place up on yelp before I went. figured it was a safe bet... My online impression was it was a semi nice place that had high end food and was based around sports, especially soccer as the website and video the place made. Touted a high class chef, a great place for business clients or a group of friends. after arriving.... My impressions were not what they advertised. It's.... a night club that has tv's that claims to be a restaurant that has pool tables and...... Kareoke?! Biggest identity crisis I've ever seen in a place. That being said..... it wasn't bad. The food was good, nothing extraordinary, the drink list fits that of a club, with a few more beers then just bud light. The staff here is great. What sent me flying was the DJ setting up... plugging in his equipment in.,,, while the audio system was turned on and turn up! it sounded like someone was throwing a mic on the ground over and over again. a weird place, that isn't bad... but isn't my type of place.

No service at all. It took them 35 mins to get me a drink. I stop them 3 times and they kept on forgetting my order. To packed to even walk. I stepped in gum two times and three fights broke out. First time here. And the drinks were water down.this place needs to step up the night life..

So Far I have been here 2x and I can't complain. Only people from Elizabeth complain that this place is their version of "Cheers". (5 points if you get the reference). Since I am not a local, I thoroughly enjoy coming here. The Lobby is big enough to be a dance spot and bar at the same time. It has pool tables, a huge bar and during the day time, the patio is open. Furthermore, the patio has little cabanas where you can get your chill on. The food is pretty good and the drinks are super strong!!! The Lobby fishbowl is at least 5 different liquors which is guaranteed to get you Schmamered. It is 20 dollars but that will probably be the only drink you need for the night. I recommend going on Friday or saturday and make a day out of it. Go around 8 pm, have your dinner then party your night away. Promoters: No one is doing a Sunday Brunch party there, someone get on it!

The lobby looks like a club and thur-sat it's pretty much that. They charge to park, and charge guys at the door. Drinks are measured so order a beer

Your coming here for the outside biergarden-esque / vegas style cabanas and music not for the food! I had the "lemon pepper" salmon with mash & yuca fries it was what you would expect if you were at a diner in Wisconsin.. it looked like a tv-dinner (frozen meal for the young readers) on a plate and it was extremely salty! Prices are very reasonable for the ambiance. Service was decent, bartenders were pleasant and place is definitely a cool spot to have a beer and enjoy the night sky while relaxing with friends. I would go back after having a real meal at one of the local Portuguese spots nearby.

While Bar hopping Saturday night my friends decided to come here because they had heard great things about it. I am giving it 2 stars for the following reasons: Cons -is in the middle of the 1-9 making it impossible to get out fast once you leave. - you pay $10 for parking. -they have "party tents" but you have to buy your 2 bottles to be allowed; talk about spending $100+ -NO designated dance floor!!! This was the worst ever, you find yourself dancing between the tables. While you are shaking your ass there's a person next to you eating their chicken wing. -3 bartenders for 200+ people!!! Good luck getting there attention. I had to wave $100 dollar bill to get the bartender's attention. -THE bathroom!!! Oh my they only have 2 toilets. Who the hell designed this place. A line all the way to the pool tables! So don't wait to the last minute to pee or you might wet your pants! -DJ Crazy sucks! He would jump from a good salsa song where everyone would be dancing to 50 Cent where everyone is sitting just moving their heads. It was good hip hop and rap but it wasn't dancing music. - they only have 2 pool tables. You have to reserved them in advance if not you don't get to use them. And what's worst they don't reserve for 1 hour so that everyone gets to use them, they reserve it for the whole night to the same group. Pros -Nice decor -I did have fun, once you have a free drinks you don't care about where you dance but I promise you is uncomfortable do dance in between tables. -girls get in free I will continue on my quest to find a good lounge in north jersey.

Living in this area. NYC nightlife will spoil you. To have a local spot minutes away. In NJ and still get that NYC vibe is amazing. Actually was surprised to see that many NY license plates in parking area. There doing something right. Yes they have parking too.. safe environment. Cant go wrong. Close to all major highways. Turnpike, 78, 1/9, Goethals bridge. Turn up!

Ended up coming here because my boyfriend wanted to watch a soccer game. Place was pretty cool lots of TVs. Our server Osvaldo was who greeted us and sat us, he was also nice enough to turn up the sound of the soccer game without us even having to ask. We came in early in the afternoon it wasn't very busy. Osvaldo was the only server, busboy, and runner... And even with all those responsibilities he was very attentive and super nice. We ordered and shared the "Picada" dish which is an appetizer with a little bit of everything. It was good and very filling. I was surprised I was full cause I can eat! I ordered a coconut pineapple mojito which looked super delicious on the pic in the menu, but when it arrived it was in a totally diff glass and not as appealing. It definitely tasted like coconut and pineapple -but not like a mojito. I decided I'd go with a traditional mojito for the second round and it was horrible! When we asked for our check I explained to the server that I had a 10% off because I had checked in through yelp. He didn't give us a hard time, and it was applied. I would definitely come again either for food or just drinks or both.

Awesome place. Great food. Great (but pricey) drinks. Came here again for cinco de mayo with reservations. Came at 7 and some people tried to scam me out of 10$ to park with no refund or guaranteed parking, i never paid for parking before so i wasnt going to start no especially if i had to park illegally and crazy risking my car being hit. Besides that it was a great day and i wanted to sit outside but their was no tables, luckily i caught one after waiting 20 min for my date. The music vibez were great. I ordered the alfreado and it was good (needed more salt) my date got the sampler and ate ever bite. We also go the churro cake and it was amazing, also had a smurf fish bowl it was strong (25$) but pricey and small. This place is good for groups and drinks, they i.d u at the door. And service kinda sucks when it crowded but over all an awesome place especially since the outside seating is open

First off let me start by saying that I came here with two of my girls on a Saturday night and it was no cover for ladies! I knew the night was going to be a success right then and there. The place was super crowded but not in an annoying way. The energy was positive and everyone was just having a good time. The DJ was pretty good and played a mix of hip hop and reggaetone. The kitchen stays open pretty late, 2am I believe, so this a great place to go if it's late and you haven't had dinner yet. I had the salmon and some veggies and it was really tasty. My friends and I also shared the fried calamari which was good. I got the blue fishbowl drink which is $25 (omg i know) butttt it was actually strong and the only drink I ended up needing so I was generally okay with paying that much for it. They ran out of hookahs but the guys sitting next to us were nice enough to share theirs with us. All in all a good night. Music, drinks, food and atmosphere on point. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the uber annoying guy who hopped on the mic at the end of the night screaming over and over for people to clear the premises. He needs to find another way to do that effectively because all he did was piss people off lol.

So much fun! I didn't expect much on a Sunday night but the place was packed. Great drinks, hookah, and pool tables. Plus lots of tv's by the bar area and a dj and small dance floor. This place seems to have it all. It's kind of a weird location but it was awesome for some fun on a Sunday night.

**FIRST OFF** This joint has the thickest ladies this far north of Patterson! I couldn't walk through the dance floor without a real fat a$$ backed up on me. As far as music goes, the DJ was must have been on 10 mollies because he played every single Fetty Wap single back to back and that was tight. He even dropped the Lil Dickey and Rich Homie Quan. Empty bottles of Hyp and Hen everywhere that shit was dope! Only 10 really creepy Mexican guys stared at my girl. 5/5 would go back only 1 time per year or if stuck at EWR overnight.

Avoid at all costs,, first of all they charge you to park your car and to walk in this dump. So you pay 20 bucks before they even let your order a 12 dollar watered down drink. I guess if you are high on drugs and 18 the music is good. The food was microwaved and tasteless . Had to deal with ghetto ass crowd with the pants hanging off their ass.. wish i could give 0 stars.. save your money and go to a local bar like i did after, alot cheaper and better time.

Visited the lobby back in Nov for a friends birthday! We had a pretty good time. Its very loud being that it's a night club, which was cool cuz we came to party! We missed our reservation so we had to sit at the bar which was cool because we had an awesome bartender! We used the coupon for 50 dollars worth of food for 30 which was so clutch! I ordered 3 drinks and 3 entrees, so it was well worth it! The drinks were good and fairly priced. The Dj mostly played Latin music and every now and then threw in some hip hop. The dance floor is kinda small but people still danced like crazy! Everything was good until the bartender tried to charge us for extra drinks and claimed real hard that thats what we had. She was nice up until that moment, however when the manager came over he was nice and helped rectify the situation!

I give this a 3 stars. The decor of the place is beautiful.. especially the outside area where the cabanas are located. If your a huge sports fan and enjoy going to sports bar and want good food for a decent price I would suggest going here. I think it would make a great evening for guys/girls to hangs out and watch a game, you might have to spend some money on drinks to rent out a cabana but if you got it, then why not. If your going here to enjoy a great night of dancing with a group of friends this wouldn't be my first rcommendation. The tables are close together which makes it difficult to dance. I went here for the first time on a saturday night. Not knowing what to expect, i came dressed in a nice dress and heels only to see a fair amount of women dressed in jeans and sandals and men are allowed in with Jordans on their feet. It's a casual environment. so if your one to dress to impress this is not the place for it. Just look cute and that should be suffice. Women are free to enter and men pay 20. It was a mixed age group I seen 20s,30, and 40. The music was switched between Spanish and hip hip I feel like this place is more for eating and they just added lounge as a additional option to bring in more crowds. I went with boyfriend and he felt as though he paid the entrance fee of 20 to eat. Overall it's a good place to eat and drink not to dance.

I found myself constnatly asking "what the hell is this place!?" This "pool hall" has two tables with awkward rules surrounding their use. Our bill had issues, the service was slow, they were out of a swath of their offerings, and the food was so-so. Midway through our dinner the place started rapidly changing into a club with loud, obnoxious music playing. The janitor walked in to clean the bathroom while I was peeing, and mopped my shoes, among other things. Weird all around

I grew up in the area and this location has housed so many different restaurants, none of which I've ever thought about visiting until this one. What better time to visit then to watch the first game of the NBA finals? This place dubs itself as a sports bar with a lounge type feel. It is actually quite spacious. Featuring an indoor and outdoor bar, pool tables, vip tables, tv's all around and a DJ booth. Surprisingly, it was not packed when we first came in so we grabbed prime seating and began the experience. At first glance the menu seemed to have quite a variety of choices and for the area I wouldn't say that it was priced accordingly. But I ordered a drink and a meal. Timing was good meal was decent, ambiance felt good for what it was. If you want a sports bar or a place to hang out with the boys try this place out.

Came here to watch a game with some gfs. I was a little surprised by the fact they patted gentlemen down as they walked in but I guess you can never be too careful. I also didn't realize how clubby of a feel the place has, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. They have pool tables in the back and a DJ was playing a fun 90's R&B and rap mixup. I'll be coming back on another night for dancing. I wasn't too hungry since I had a late dinner but ended up ordering the Azteca soup anyway. The waiter asked me if I was sure about it since it was spicy - I love all things hot, so of course I was sure. It came out and OMG I was so pleasantly surprised. It was great. It's a great hangover soup. My friends ordered the buffalo calamari (surprisingly good as well), the shrimp quesadilla, which they raved about, and the wings, which were your typical run of the mill wings. We enjoyed our experience and plan on coming back.

Managment is completely unprofessional and unethical in their business practices. Would not recommend this bar to anyone.

Let me first say that the food is good, the prices are cheap, the atmosphere is pretty cool. The service was pretty good until it was time to pay. Now I will say that I blame this completely on the waitress. She seemed a bit dingy to begin with, but we had faith in her. Two of us paid with credit card, and the other gave $50 in cash. The bill was only $56.00. She never gave my friend back her change at all. Then when she asked for her change she asked Oh, how much you want back? 0_o (WHET) So finally we just gave her a 10 tip (that she did not deserve) and we were just hanging out to finish our drinks. That was until she accused us of stealing her checkbook from another table. *Says a couple of curse words* We were embarrassed stopped by security, didn't steal the check book. Our two male friends got the admission fee back for the trouble and we don't plan on going back. Feel a bit cheated being that we paid for parking, tip, and our food and drinks just to be called thieves. She never apologized (*curse word here) but the cute general manager did !:-)

2 stars for being nicely decorated. As far as service and their misconception that it's a club in New York City they get zero stars. It's a "bar" trip and fall distance from the ghetto. No thanks lobby.

It's kind of a sports bar... Like there's lots of tvs, there's also tejano dance music playing.. Not that that's a bad thing jus not really a sports bar thing.. Foods good. Women are hot. Service is horrible.. Probably won't come back here again... Not my scene

Nice spot for younger people in their 20's & 30's. Nice party spot for young adults, not really my speed anymore. I like grown & sexy spots with a more older crowd. It's not a bad spot it's just not for me I am 40 now... I cool if you come in with a group to party. Tonight ladies were free so it was packed. They have an outside dance area, with heated lamps. They also have pool tables.

This was my first time here and I saw some good reviews on Facebook so my friends and I decided to check it out. Its definitely convenient for those flying in, because its near the airport. They have a parking lot so thats good. Once we got there, we were seated immediately. There wasn't a lot of people in there. It wasn't crowded at all. We went during Happy Hour. There were people playing pool and others watching the football game on tv. Our waiter was awesome. I don't remember getting his name but he was very attentive and informative. My disappointment came when I ordered my drinks and the first 2 drinks weren't available. I ended up getting fruit punch which ended up being very good. They had a DJ who was playing great music during the commercials. The place looks very nice, either as a chill spot or for a nice date. My friends and I had a good time regardless of the lack of people. The food was good. I ordered the calamari and for the price, they should have given more! The sauce for it was okay, I've had better. I also had the Tamarin Wings. They were definitely good and worth the price. My friends ordered loaded fries, macaroni & cheese, chicken quesadias, and tenders. This place can definitely get packed quickly with the right promotion.I would come back again. It has a nice atmosphere. It gets only three stars because I didn't try their main entrees yet and I need to come back when its not so dead to really see how it is. The DJ was nice enough to take my requests so that made it fun for me.

Over priced!!!!!! The food is not good at all. Definitely feel like chef boyarde. The drinks are watered down. The best things about this place are the big tvs, the hot bartenders, and the music.

Came here yesterday evening with a few friends. Cool element, free pool tables, decent food. It was a little nippy so the outside was heated and was told will be heated till Halloween. If you come with a party there appears no problem with having a table. As well as the fact they have bottle specials before midnight. Small issue I had was after ordering a cranberry and vodka, I looked at my bill and realized it was 20 for 2 drinks. I felt this was a little outlandish for the venue. The waiter had put in for top shelf alcohol, I'm accustomed to waiters using house liquor unless specifically requested. I also suggest people get there early. Around 9pm they dim the lights and a dj comes on. Simultaneously they start valet parking and which individuals are charged for. Overall I would come back again.

Great spot to eat a little, dance a little, drink a little and mix & mingle. Nice diverse crowd and the DJs play a combination of everything; Top 40, Hip-Hop, House, R&B, Spanish, etc. Now that it's getting warmer, the outside patio is quite inviting. It includes a fully staffed bar and cabanas for VIP/bottle service; each cabana being equipped with its on flat screen TV, so while there you'll never miss a major sporting event. In addition, this year, the rooftop patio is opening as well - also having a fully staffed bar and VIP seating. If your looking to have an amazing evening - The Lobby is definitely the place to be!! Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday's are forever poppin; especially Thursday's hosted by #MTigzPro

I dont even know where to start. Only thing i liked about this place was the music. Shots are given in small shot cups similar to those used for cough medicine. I can get more for my money elsewhere. My friend's birthday was almost ruined after being informed that our party was too big and WE MUST buy bottles in order to stay in a certain area. My friend called ahead of time informing them she may have a party larger than 15 people and the woman she spoke to said that was ok. we did not get her name or information at that point since she already gave us the okay. The woman who handles bottle service told us that its 5 people to 1 bottle. So we were required to buy 6 bottles. Upset and frustrated, all 30 of us left and went to another bar.

I looooved this place. I loved everything about it. Ill begin by saying that I came on a tuesday evening. I did not have to pay for parking or to come in. I had a fresh watermelon mojito and my aunt had a pineapple coconut mojito, I reeeally enjoyd mine, the flavor was even better than expected. I ate tamarind chicken wings and tried the shrimp quesadilla, witch I recommend. The interior design was gorgeous, great ambience and crowd for my taste. The lighting was perfect not to bright, not to dark, a candle on every table. The bar looked amazing, music was not too loud. Later during the evening, there was kareoki the waiter and all staff were very cool and it was just fun and very enjoyable. I came with my aunt and enjoyd alot. Ill probably come back with my sister and definatly recomend. Great local spot.

The food was serviceable (I didn't have any because I had dinner plans but I tried some of friends'). Due to the "size of our party" (8 people??) they made us sit in the "Cabana" section (a tailgating tent with hand made plywood and cushion seating and curtains added), acted like it was a favor to us, then told us we have to leave by 8 pm since it "becomes VIP." Then when I had to leave early, gave me a hard time about settling my portion of the bill, and then added a 40% tip on top! My party was not loud, obnoxious, drunk, or high-maintenance. Service took forever and they made it seem like our happy hour plans (during their happy hour) were a huge inconvenience again. It also looks like a strip club from the outside.

I came here for a friend's birthday and had a good time. Music was decent, but starts to feel repetitive after some time. Staff was friendly and got all of our orders correct considering the size of our group. Food was pretty good and decently priced. We got there around 9pm on a Saturday and found plenty of parking and didn't have to pay to get in, but upon leaving I noticed that men paid $10 to get in! On top of that it was $10 for valet and you had no choice because if you don't park valet you're probably parking in the nearest neighborhood which means having to cross a major highway by foot. That's $20 spent before even taking your jacket off! Luckily I didn't experience that nonsense because then this rating would be at 2 stars instead of 4.

    (4)
  • Jonathan L.

I give it one star because for a sports bar they didn't have the sound to any games playing. They had a DJ playing pretty terrible music way too loud and they actually didn't know the hockey teams names that were playing when asked. Not my recommendation for a good sports bar.

I used to come here all the time and although I always had fun it's always impossible to get a drink. The past 2 times I came..they were both Sunday's... The same bartender always fills the cup half up. So I'm paying 9$ a drink for half a drink. The first time I said something because she clearly put one pour of alcohol in the first cup and half a pour in the other because the bottle ran out. I said the cups half full can u fill it? And she put a little extra Red Bull. Fine.. Didn't say anything after that just didn't go back to her. Now this time our cups were half empty again! This kind of stuff will make me never come back.

I absolutely love this place. I have only been here for lunch on maybe 5 occasions but I have never had 1 complaint. Staff is friendly. Ambiance is great. Lots of huge flat screens even in the cabanas outside. Food: everything is good. Haven't had anything to complain about. Frozen Margaritas are cold a strong!

I've been here on two occasions for el clasico. Service is slow to start but she was pretty good in the end. Lots of TVs In there so we got a good view of the game. We ordered beer towers of coors light. In my opinion it's a bit pricey 8 beers of low quality domestic is $35 that's about $4.37 a beer. But I'm not mad because it's convenient. The food was so good we ordered the picada. It's so good but it was missing the Yukka fries. For a table of 4 people she charged us gratuity which I think was dumb, because I would have valued her service higher, but if that's what she wants that is what she'll get. I'll definitely come back for the picada

This was my first experience here, and I was just looking to grab a few drinks and watch the game. When I walked in, I was impressed. It is a big room, with a nice bar and tables, as well as a large patio with cabanas. I was immediately greeted with a smile, and headed towards the bar. After waiting a bit to be noticed (2 bartenders, 4 people at the bar), I ordered a vodka soda in accordance with their $4 house drink deal. When I ordered my 2nd, I noticed that the bartender was using Grey Goose, when I asked about it, she told me that I didn't specify what vodka I wanted, so she used Grey Goose and charged me accordingly. She graciously changed it. I ordered the steak sandwich, and it was very good. The kitchen seems to be the strength of this place. The bartender was nice and willing, but had VERY clearly never been trained how to bartend. She didn't know the happy hour, the drink prices, which beers were domestic, or even how to properly pour a beer (open the handle all the way as opposed to half which just gives you a glass full of foam). She moved very leisurely, and did one thing at a time. None of this is entirely her fault. She was very attractive, which I imagine is the only reason she works there. Meanwhile, instead of helping her or managing, the manager was sitting at the bar, drinking and watching the game. When I asked for my check, I noticed that my check was entitled "Gringo" which is usually used by people who think I wouldn't know what it means. I do, and am offended. As I was leaving, the karaoke "host" slammed the song list on the bar (the bartender jumped it was so loud) between me and the next person instead of coming and introducing himself and letting us know that he will be starting karaoke and handing us the song list. It is simply a shame to see a venue with such potential (location and design) go to utter waste due to a lack of effort. I might get some takeout from here in the future, but have no intention of ever returning besides the food. TRAIN YOUR STAFF!!

I came to Lobby on a Wednesday and loved it, food is great, drinks are good and the prices are reasonable. My problem was coming on a Saturday, I was surprised that a restaurant/sports bar was charging me $10 to park my car, I' understand if its a club but is not! And then a rude "bouncer" asking for IDs? Really? Is a restaurant/bar , is like going to "Buffalo Wild Wings" or "Applebee's " and getting harassed by bouncer when you get in. I think the owner should be more reasonable with his costumers on charging people before even going inside that's not good customer service plus is in Elizabeth and not in Manhattan . And then getting ID at the door? It should be the waitress job to ask for ID like any other restaurant/sports bar.

Came to the lobby on 01-07-2015. Honestly the best place in elizabeth. Very relaxing place, food is great and the drinks are excellent. Will be back plenty of times. Making this my destination place. Pool tables are a plus.

Great spot to go chill with friends and family. Drinks are exceptional and the food is without a doubt some of the best that there is to offer in the area, if not THE best. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good time and to leave with a sense of satisfaction.

My first time here today. Went for dinner around 7pm with a girlfriend. We were greeted politely by the hostess. The place looks really nice. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Pool tables inside as well as a bar and high top tables. Seems like it's mostly a nightlife place. But great decor! My friend and I sat outside. There are high top tables, the chairs are very comfortable. There's also a bar outside and cabanas to sit in. We sat down and looked over the menus, it took a little while for our server to come over but she came and was polite. We ordered our drinks- passion fruit frozen piña colada... So delicious. And our food, fried calamari, chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and volcano nachos. The food is really nothing to brag about. It's almost not even worth mentioning. This place seems like it's more about the vibe and the music (which they play all different genres but still mostly too 40s from different times). They have DJs at night and it's sort of a sports bar. I'll have to come back another time at night to get the whole feel. But it's not a food spot I would hit up for some good eats.

Had an epic night! This place is huge and worth every dollar. The food was amazing and the drinks were too! Can get pricey but it's the lobby just enjoy yourself. The atmosphere is very divey and that is something i enjoyed have a chance to get to me tons of people. Great place to hang with friends and just shoot the shit!

They offer a pretty good yelp deal ($30 for $50 worth of food) When calling in the hostess had no idea what my boyfriend and I were talking about. She made us feel like it was the craziest question to ask if we can use our yelp voucher on delivery orders. We don't even think she knew what yelp was. She took it upon herself to say that they could not except the voucher because they needed to see the email. So we decided to order it as take out instead to show her the voucher in person. Taking are food order over the phone seemed annoying to her. It took 20 minutes for the manger to come assist my boyfriend. I'm sure it was because the place was packed. They are pretty popular in this area. The manger did take care of the problem tho & my boyfriend loved the food. A little spicy for me but still awesome. Might dine in next time instead of attempting delivery. Might save some time.

The food and atmosphere is good. I think the only werid thing was the yelp deal for this restaurant. You HAVE to spend $50 in order to use the deal and it has to be food. If you are a dollar shy you cant use the deal.... I would come agsin foe drinks and pool...

Nice Hookah lounge...pretty staff...open space and pretty lights...not really my scene, but I appreciate the layout and design elements of any good establishment. Seems more like a hangout spot than anything, which, I dunno, I would just rather do at home. It's like there's hot women/men here, but they all seem to belong to there own group, so yeah, just people watch, no one is super eager to meet n greet here unless you got that swag '-) Seems kinda pointless, in between a meet new people spot/sports bar, needs a little more focus but has potential.

on a quest to continue our sunday fun day, we ended up at the lobby. i came here with a couple of friends after brunch in newark. The space is pretty awesome, they have pool tables and you can play as long as you are consuming. The drinks were strong and very enjoyable. overall it was a fun, chill time with friends. no complaints and will definitely be coming back, i really enjoyed playing pool, loser buys shots :)

I went out with my girls to have a good time which turned out to be a nightmare. First of All it was extremely crowded you could not walk, the bartenders super slow and they only have 3 people taking orders. There were people complaining about the service. I had 2 drinks and my friend 2 as well I opened a tab when it was time to go I closed the tab and they had charged me drinks that I did not even ordered. When I asked where the bartender went she was gone for the night, conveniently and I still had tip her. To top it off the entire time I was sitting by the bar my phone was in my back pocket apparently when I went to reach for it was not there I looked all over the place I had The Dj announce it about 2times if anyone found it no one returned it. So I def know it did not drop but someone pulled out without me realizing due to the fact people kept on bumping into me and so forth did not think anything by it.

Here's the low-down: $5 Self Parking Fee... what? Oh okay... $5 Cover - what the f#@k! Come on! lol $10 spent and no food or booze in my system? No bueno. Food: Nothing very memorable. Grilled shrimp in garlic sauce was okay, along with the fried mozzarella sticks - all bar food 'grade' and prices. Drinks: $40 for a self-serve glass keg of beer. This thing was a monster and looked pretty cool. Music: Salsa/Cumbia/Merengue, Top 40s, and Electronic/House. DJ did a great mix across all these genres. I went there on a Friday night for the World Cup qualifiers. This place was a mad zoo at 9PM packed with people, mostly Colombians due to the game I assume, drinking and dancing. It was difficult to move around much but my group was able to secure a spot at the bar. Traumatizing Moment of the night: Drunk Hispanics, emotions running high, and a fight breaks out! No one is surprised. What sucks is the bouncers decide to remove the toxic people outside.. but the group of rowdy guys pretty much beat the daylights out of these two other guys. It was brutal and a bloody mess. The bouncers pretty much let it all go down in the parking lot and didn't give a damn since it wasn't going inside their venue. Oh well.. a large gash leaking blood from the forehead never killed anyone... right? Anyways... On a separate note: The bartenders and waitstaff were easy on the eyes so the management did do something right. Bottom line: If you think this is your scene, it's worth swinging by yelpers! I'd consider going back there on a more calm night since I heard they have billiards there.

Before you read my review, watch the "teaser" for this place in the link I'm about to provide. I want you to close your eyes at the 0:13 second mark. Just trust me. When the music stops, open your eyes, come back here and read my review. youtube.com/watch?v=RnRW… I watched the same video before coming here for the first time just to make sure I knew what I was getting into (I had my eyes open for the whole thing though). I'm sure while you had your eyes closed however, you envisioned a world of dancing and revelers. My eyes were open when I watched this and for some reason when I got to The Lobby I was shocked not to see any of that. There is a $5 Self-Park fee. I will never understand those for the life of me...there's never any security watching your car. When this place was a Perkins there was no Self-Park fee. Anyway, the music was loud and we were hyped to just get our Step Up 2 on. We paid the fee and parked the car. Parking is crazy...there's no room for so many cars. We got to the door and got carded. Usual. No cover. Cool. Very unusual. But cool. You gotta pay for parking but there's no cover...alright. Instead of being told there was a cover, the ladies at the entrance asked if we wanted a table. And this is when I realized that this isn't really a club or lounge. It's a super fancy Applebees with a DJ. A very talented DJ. There is no dancing. There's no room for it. But there is a DJ. Playing music. That would entice you to dance. We said no to the table thinking we'd be able to just wander about while the music played or sit on a couch or something. As Kevin Spacey once said...WRONG!!!!!!!!!! We kinda just stood near the entrance. Looking around. There was no room at the bar...we didn't really come to drink and drink and drink. And if we had, there would have been nowhere to take our drinks with us. Standing at the bar would've been weird and there were no free pool tables. To sum it all up, we stood there for like ten minutes and then left. One thing that was interesting though was that a woman fell out of her high chair and no one said anything. It was very weird...the lack of laughter at someone else's expense. It seemed out of place. This silence. Especially in Elizabeth. That last bit didn't come from me...I just wrote what you were thinking. Anywaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay: I WOULD come back if I wanted to eat something. The food smelled good and looked good. I WOULD come back if I wanted to chill with the homies and play pool. They had a nice array of tables. I WOULD come back to watch a Devils game and drink some drinky dranks. That parking thing just tickles me though. Oh, and I would come back to listen to the DJ. Next time I'm gonna pull up a chair and sit right in front of him/her like he's an opera singer. I would hate to DJ somewhere that doesn't provide people with ample space to dance. It would ruin my self esteem. They should call this place The Elevator...tons of music...with nowhere to dance to it.

Have been here twice for dinner. Never crowded when I've been here. Heard it gets better later in the evening when the DJ comes. Plenty of room and a couple of pool tables. The food is delicious. I had the tacos with meat and they were out of this world. Priced like any other place.

The place is nice specially in the summer. The music is good... But the service is terrible. The bartenders take at least 15 minutes before they even acknowledge you! Specially if you are a female you will have no luck with getting a drink. !!! Horrible service !!!

Horrible horrible service! I sat at the bar with my gf and ordered 2 cocktails to start and the bartender promptly snatched the menu out of our hands to see what was in our drinks I'm guessing she clearly did jot memorize them recipes. Then we ordered guacamole & chips which was OK but definitely not worth the 8.95 price tag as it was one small avocado worth of guac & maybe 15 chips. But taste wise was pretty good (hence the second star) After we finished our drinks and ordered a second round of drinks and 2 sets of wings, we moved away from the bar to a pool table for a few games a waiter/ busboy comes over asking for a credit card and ID since we moved away from the bar. Which made me feel as if though they thought I would eat, drink, & run! (I would understand that action on a busy night but we were among the what 9 customers in the place on a Tuesday night) The wings sdmh the wings! We order the "Diablo wings and the tamarind wings" that were FLAVORLESS the tamarind wings I kept have to dip in the hot sauce to have some sort of taste to them. The Bleu cheese dip was some bland variation that barely tasted of Bleu cheese. Then my gf went to the bar to order 2 BEERS and they send her back to the table beer-less and as I am eating my bland wings I see the bartender flagging me down from LITERALLY 50 FEET AWAY to come and get the 2 beers. That she left at a side part of the bar that is in front of the kitchen (service bar aka where a bartender would put drinks for waiters to take to their tables) to take over to the table myself! Like WTF?!?! If it wasn't for a great Groupon that got us 80 bucks worth of food & drinks for 30 bucks I would never go back again. Like ever!!! Too bad I bought it twice so I'm stuck to going back another time.

I recently went here to celebrate my sisters birthday and the atmosphere is amazing! The fact that they have an indoor space and an outdoor patio allows maximum comfort with chairs and couches. The drinks were moderately priced and the music kept everyone on their feet. The DJ was interactive and entertaining. I was able to navigate within the space easily and parking wasn't terrible.

Do NOT order from here via GrubHub or any other delivery service. Twice my order has been cancelled because their "driver was out that day", and today I thought I'd give them one more shot. I placed my order via GrubHub at 4:30. I received a phone call ~4:45pm from The Lobby confirming that it was a delivery, not a pick up. I called them at 6pm, still waiting for my food and the manager tells me no one put in the order, but I could wait an additional 30-45 min and they'd put the order in. He seemed confused when I declined and started practically yelling at me that I had to wait for them to cook the food. It took a further 5 minutes for him to shut up and listen that I wanted him to cancel the grub hub order and refund my purchase (which I had prepaid via credit card). Just ridiculous.

I really liked the atmosphere of this place for a nice weather day. The outdoor bar is really nice, & they have awesome cabanas. The drinks are reasonably priced & I even had dinner while I was there. I'd even go back for the meal! It was pretty good. It was only my 1st time going but I'd definitely go back. Be warned, I found out the hard way that they charge for parking on the weekends. I'll probably stick with it as an after work spot.

I love it here. It has a nice outside area. Didn't really try the food, but it looked amazing. I came here for a party, so we were in the VIP section with a pool table. We arrived earlier then the guest of honor, but our waitress was always checking up on us. Service was awesome. Not a long wait at all to get in, DJs were inside and outside. It was pretty nice. Drinks are kind of pricey, but that comes along with the place. I'd def be back.

Went there for a first date, was 80s/90s night, so I was digging the music, devote is fresh they strategically placed every table and every lamp to really make it feel very inviting and very fun the pool tables were little rusty but the system they had in making reservations was good, drinks were alright , happy hour is very popular lot of young and grown couples, fun place

The Lobby has grown to be a great place. This lounge/bar has gradually become the best place in the city of Elizabeth, NJ. It has matured into an ideal place. Drinks are great. I have never had their food, so therefore, I cannot review. Overall, great place!

Love the place!! Food is good, drinks are good I only drink blue moon anyways. I'm from the area and its a nice place to unwind. With that said I have 1 issue. I got out of work very late one night putting in extra hours, and got their around 10:30 just for a drink or two on my way home. So, i understand sometimes you have events and such but i'm there literally every other day. And ten dollars to park!!!!! wtf and ten dollar cover charge!!! Now 20 bucks when I want 10 dollars worth of drinks! Wheres the logic? So I walked out didn;t have a drink and the valet people did not want to give me my money back! If you want to run your regulars away than this policy is the way to go lol. So there is my rant.. Other than that service is good, and bar tending staff are easy on the eyes and very attentive. Christine rocks!. My 2 cents

Trendy decor. Definitely one of the better styled sports bar/clubs in the area. Indoor and outdoor bar. I was actually pretty pleased with the food. However it's more of a Hooters/Cheeks meets the Elizabeth's ghetto melting pot. Service left much to be desired. Don't go to The Lobby for the ambience. Tons of TV screens if you want to watch a game and baby sit a beer. Bar service is kind of slow and it's obvious the bar maids were not hired for quality or experience.

Came here with friends a few weeks ago watched a UFC fight; it was a little crowded but that was expected. Nice drinks with good food. They also play an array of different music. They have different shot specials all night. Nice spot to hangout with friends.

Had a girls' night out here last night and I must say I had a great time! I was worried after reading a few reviews like the weird self pay parking and mediocre menu. However, when I arrived, I did not pay for parking (however I'm not sure if it was because it was a Wednesday night and not a wknd night.). We walked inside and were seated at a table. Appearance: Nice lounge feel. Nice decor. Huge tabletops comfortable, and had a few large couches around in other parts. It's very suitable for an afterwork spot, watching sports, hanging wit a group of friends, group dates for couples looking for a lounge, etc. not for romance but great for a meet up and small talk. Food: pretty nice selection for a lounge. Even introduced a few more items to choose from on an insert. I was very happy with my selection had brocc n cheese potatoe skins w/ side of sour cream and soup (I felt chilly) and no complaints the food was hot and fresh! My friend had fish tacos and my other friend had a buffalo chicken wrap, and both plates were cleared with no complaints. They also had dinner entrees as well as finger foods. Drinks: happy hour was all night on Wednesday so we decided to go with it. Somewhat limited selection but still pretty good. No margaritas for happy hour that night but offered tequila sunrises which were mixed pretty well. And happy hour on selected shots...needless to say no complaints with any of the drinks. Music: the music is pretty loud. It makes you want to dance but there is no room really to do so. And the music selection was good that night! Mix of club/pop, (house music), rap, and pretty much the latest hits. Prices: not bad if you do couple rounds and shots from the happy hour selection. Food prices were average for a lounge. Staff: Very nice group of people! I believe 3 staff members other than our waiter stopped by the table to see how everything was going. Definitely appreciated that! It wasn't too crowded that night, so it may be different in that case, but doesn't matter, it was still a great look for an establishment. Everyone was very pleasant. Con: the location. Getting there is pretty easy, but leaving sucks if you have to get back on 1 and 9 southbound. Ugh! You have no choice but to hop back on 1 n 9 north going towards the airport and newark and ride around to get back to 1 n 9 south. So would I come back here? Of course! The location is not that big of a deal compared to having a good time once you're inside.

As a local, I come to the Lobby often ... The food is great, the buffalo calamari is at the top of my list ... It's a trendy sports bar that comes alive at night ... I usually come Thursday through Sunday, haven't experienced it during the day but the ambiance is phenomenal ... I've never had any complaints about The Lobby until this past Sunday ... My gf ordered a drink at the inside bar and was left hanging while the bartender went to flip out on the manager ... When she came back she had the nerve to be mad at us when we asked about our drink that we waited 20 minutes for ... She flipped on us, cursed at my girlfriend and called her a Cu** ... Very professional ... Seemed like she had been drinking ... We finally got our drink from a different bartender who came over to apologize and struck conversation with my gf to calm the situation ... My three stars go out to the food and the red headed bartender that handled the situation maturely and professionally I will continue to keep going as it is a great place for locals but management needs to learn how to hire the right people for the job.

Best place for Sunday Night Football!!! Music, drinks, food, raffles and a lot of give always!!! Staff is awesome and friendly. Ambient is very classy and the food is really good. Definitely ask for Andres or Ivan as your waiters!!! Ladies and gentlemen, be ready to have a plethora of different things in your pocket or your purses as they will be needed for the frequent give away of goodies. You'll see what I mean!!! Only reason why it doesn't get 5 stars is because after a certain time on Sundays they will charge you for "valet parking" even though you just parked the car yourself. I have been there only on football nights and Sunday is the only day they've charged.

This place was really nice I went for a friends birthday and the music was great! It definitely has a great chill vibe. Majority of the crowd was of latin descent which was fine to me since the DJ was playing a great mix of music. I loved the food (I had one of the pastas), loved the music, I really wanted to hit the dance floor on a few songs but like many people say they don't have room for it with all the pool tables, the bar and seating for those looking to just eat. Overall I love how late they are open, I hate that they are about 20 minutes from my house, I love the ambience of this place, I wish the crowd was much more mixed.. Their business cards are cute they look like credit cards which was a very different. But it did get me to talking about the place and my boyfriend's job ended up picking this place to have their Xmas party.

This is just the place Elizabeth Nj needed. Loved this place and will be going back more often. Finally wanted to try this place out, and go watch a Basketball game with my buddy who said it was an awesome place. The decor is upscale and they have TV's surrounding the entire place, great viewing pleasure. The food is finger licking good !!! You can tell everything is made fresh and the presentation was a plus. Great Service, everyone who worked there was super friendly from the moment we walked in the door. The Pool tables were free and made the place all the more fun. Two Thumbs up !

Good atmosphere. Up scale. Which is good. It's what Elizabeth has been needing for a long time now. They've got 3 beers on draft but I'm sure they'll expand as this place becomes better known. Great specials and cool staff. This will be my new regular place.

Great atmosphere, live DJ had it popping for the most part but didn't play much hip hop music which was a small disappiontment. The food was your average bar lounge food. They had bout 8 pool tables which were not open to play on which I thought was whack. I was expecting more flat screens TVs. But overall it's a great spot to watch a game, chill and relax. This place is more or less a spot u bring a young lady to.

So I came here for a small gathering with 8 ppl. We ordered drinks and the girl kept bringing drinks for everyone that ordered. Ppl ordered food and our server kept saying Okay Okay I'll bring it out. She didn't know How much anything cost. She didn't write everything down. Every time she came back it was only for drinks. My friend had to remind her did you order my food and she says"everything will be out soon ". my friends got their food and when I asked Where mine was she didn't know What I ordered then asked me if I wanted to order and said it will take only 10mins. I told her No I don't want anything since you forgot. I mean there is a reason why you have a pen and pad to write everything down.I sat for and hour with No food two drinks and all she could say is oh it's crazy in here I forgot but let me remind you it wasn't busy at all. And when the check came she charged me for one drink.. Kick rocks!

Easy to find location. UP SCALE sports bar/ lounge, not your average restaurant. The inside is beautifully decorated. One word for the food, AMAZING. I have visited The Lobby about a dozen times and the food is absolutely top notch. Delicious. Perfection. Service is amazing. The bartenders look very pretty and well dressed, as so do the servers. Pool tables, FREE! Just have to be buying drinks/food. HUGE TV screens by the bar area (4) and many throughout the restaurant. There is a VIP area for birthday parties which is very spacious. As for the the nightlife here, the DJ's they have play really good music. A variety from all types of spanish music to hip hop and dance/house. Love the music at night!! There is a dress code, which keeps the low lifes away! Very classy, like I said UP SCALE! All in all, I give it a 5 STAR rating. I will, and have definitely already, recommended to many of my friends. No complaints at all. Keep up the good work!!
