I would vote it the best Chinese food in town. I absolutely love their steamed dumpling and dipping sauce, me and my wife order from here 2-3 times a month for years, have tried a wide variety of dishes and all are good. When we first moved to Belleville we must of tried 15-20 different Chinese restaurants and was very disappointed. We were spoiled by the great variety of Chinese Resturants in Brooklyn and china town. The Resturant is not a place I would want to eat in, small horrible tables, but for delivery A+. Great food, good portions, great prices friendly owners

One of our two go-to chinese delivery spots. Some of the best fried dumplings.

After being disappointed with a few Chinese spots around town, I finally found this one for my General Tso and sesame chicken needs. I can only comment on these dishes, but, I won't go anywhere else. Really great flavor and generous portions.

Another Chinese places trying to pass off that yellow rice as fried rice. I always feel sick after eating here.

A friend of mine told me the three things you need to find when moving to a new town is the post office, shopping center, and a damn good Chinese food place. Taste of China came highly recommended from a coworker (not a Yelper..Gasp! but still knows his stuff) who has lived in town for years. It's so freakin hard to find a good Chinese takeout which is weird because there's seems to be a Chinese restaurant in every street corner. I usually cringe at the thought of ordering from a grease fest but when necessity dictates, you don't complain. I needed food one day and was too lazy to cook so I decided to give this place a try. I drove to the restaurant to see how clean it is, which passes for sanitary but not by much, and decided to order General Tso's chicken, some pepper steak, and house special fried rice. Baaaduuum I was surprised at their food! It wasn't what I was expecting. Totally filled with flavor, not much grease, and the right amount of spice. I had asked them to make my General much more spicy and they complied happily. After stuffing my face full, I kicked-back knowing that if I'm ever in a need for some Chinese food, I can hit up this place close to home.

Greasy slimy and GROSE !!!! Disgusting. Would get 2 stars if I lived in the Midwest, but not when you're 20 mins from NYC. Yuck!!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
