So I get the pleasure of traveling all over the states for a living and during my time in Bayonne, NJ, I was told to try this place for Chinese, and I'm so very glad I did! This places was both clean and has a friendly staff! The food which is the important piece was Excellent! Some of the best Chinese food I've had in years! I ordered their General Tso's with pork fried rice, and an order of Crab Rangoon. All I can say is delish!!! I ate here twice while in town and ordered the same thing both times, and both times it was excellent! Serving sizes are more than enough and I couldn't finish it all at lunch, which is pretty standard at most Chinese restaurants, food prep was fast. The only meh item was their egg rolls. Tasted pretty standard and unoriginal, though I've yet to find a place to replicate the egg rolls of my youth. Alas I continue my search. But I highly recommend this place if your looking for some excellent Chinese food with a friendly staff, clean environment, and fast service! Emmm Emmm good!!! I'll be back if work ever brings me this way again!

The food is not the best Chinese in town and they have a huge roach problem - my friend lived upstairs and ive seen the infestation for myself. The I exterior is dirty and greasy and they are rude. Avoid.

Every single time I see over 4 stars posted on any restaurant especially Bayonne, I have to immediately try it and give you all an unbiased review. I love Chines Food period and have eaten from the best to the worst. Now, the first thing I research are the reviewers.... are they only rating based on the fact that they live in the neighborhood, hence have had nothing better. In this case this is the very scenario. NOW FOR MY REVIEW! I ordered BBQ Spare ribs with a side of shrimp fried rice, Chicken wings white rice and a half chicken with pork fried rice as well as wonton soup to start. Wonton soup-although good.... Nothing special. Watered down taste, but pretty standard wonton. Fried rice both pork and shrimp-Horrible beyond horrible standards. Tasted like some type of rice paste. Very sticky and left a nasty film on the roof of your mouth. My kids refused to touch it after 2 spoons. A new record. Every other chinese in the are makes standard rice... these guys in the quest to be different have faltered big time with this rice selection. Chicken wings were pretty big and the kids loved them.... they even went so far as into say "the best chinese wings in Bayonne". BBQ spare ribs- were a super super sad disappointment. No BBQ at all and they were all underdone. They were squishy and very very wet from the inside and felt like I was eating a pure raw rib. Not good at all. My daughter refused to even touch them after her first attempt. My son just picked one up and told me "I don't dare". Unfortunately, if it's amazing asian cuisine you seek...... don't bother looking in Bayonne as every single chinese spot has been a horror story period.

They were closed for renovations for a while. I was disappointed to find out that they wouldn't be serving sushi anymore. We weren't too happy with their Chinese food, so we don't order from Yummy Yummy anymore.

Since they have reopened after remodeling and hurricane Sandy, the taste has gone downhill. We have ordered from here a few times, hoping it would get better. Nothing doing! Don't know if they have new people cooking or what, but it just doesn't taste the same anymore. Used to be one of very few places we'd order from.

This place is nice and clean after the new renovations. The beef with broccoli and fried chicken wings are the best I've had in the area. Haven't tried out the lunch buffet yet, but it looks like a good deal at $3.99. The only gripe I have about this place is the long walk from the front door to the counter.

Best Chinese food in Bayonne. Fast, Cheap and Delicious! There are other Bayonne Chinese spots but they all suck. Don't waste your money on them and instead order from Yummy Yummy. They also will log your number into their system so when you call back you dont have to give them your number; they read it back to you! Very Nice indeed :)

I've ordered Chinese food from several local businesses and this one is terrible. The worst Chinese food I have ever had in all of my travels. Both locally and beyond. First, I told the person on the phone which bell to ring as there are two other bells and I hate when my neighbors are disturbed at dinner hour. Lo and behold they never in formed the delivery person and guess what?? He rang both the other bells and never mine. How did I know he did this? The neighbors both have dogs. Five between them .What a treat. About the person on the phone.....he hardly understood what I was saying. And I him. Interesting that an another reviewer thinks they are patient when the caller (customer) isn't understood by the person taking their order. I ordered egg drop soup, wonton egg drop soup, fried dumplings, vegetable lo mein and chicken in black bean sauce. Both egg drop soups were watery. The wontons were just okay bordering on bland. Fried dumplings were dry. The vegetable lo mein was also bland. And finally, the entree, the chicken in brown sauce had a very, very unpleasant after taste, I will never order from this establisjment again. And if you're reading this review you are FOREWARNED!

This place was nasty. I came here not expecting much given that the buffet is only 4.99(previously 3.99) but it was way worse than I thought. Half of the meats were extremely salty and half were completely bland. No flavor at all. The rice and general TSOS chicken was pretty good. But the rest of it was lacking severely. Also the clientele was very.. for lack of a better expression, DISGUSTING. There were homeless people eating in there, and they reeked of urine. Yuck! I came hungry and left feeling cheated out of 5bucks. If you're looking for a real Chinese buffet fix, I suggest going the buffet by the planet fitness. There you will get your money's worth and its only 7.50 a person for lunch. STAY AWAY FROM YUMMY YUMMY

I tried this place three times and had three different dishes..... And I have to say they have nothing good here.... The service is amazing but the food is awful then the kicker is they give you A LOT! So not only do you have the misfortune of eating you have a ton of it. I had the shrimp egg foo young the rice was so so the shrimp were dry and hard. I then tried the general tso chicken they use very little sauce and the chicken was dry and over cooked. The pork fried rice was good and fresh but that's it. I tried the egg foo young again and ended up throwing it in the trash never again.

The name is definitely correct. It's definitely "yummy". It's very fast delivery and they are always very nice and patient when I can't understand what they say. Tempura is okay. Not the crunchiest but it's okay. But their sushi is pretty tasty and fresh-ish. I love their egg drop soup as well, and their lo mein, orange chicken, sesame chicken. Blah. Everything. It's always a problem when I order here because I want just about everything on the menu. Their portions are ginormous. Always food for the next day. And if you order more the $10 you get a free can of soda, and if you order more than $20 you get free wonton soup. I forget what you get if you order more than $30 but it's kinda cool that they do that. We always thought we were special until I read on their menu that they do that. :P We just recieved food from here while I was writing this, and they ended up giving us a free Quart of Wonton soup, and a free pint of Miso Soup along with everything else we ordered. How lovely :)

I usually get delivery from the place when I am craving some cheap Chinese food. As for the delivery service, it is very quick to get the food to your door. Let's talk about the food now, the portions are big for Chinese delivery and take out. Food Rating: Stream Dumpling are huge and good. But their are not the greatest I have ever had. Pork fried rice is a nice disk. In opinion, fried rice is the same in any Chinese place. Sesame Chicken is a good disk also. Hint: Using delivery.com , I usually receive 10% discount each time I order from their website.

Recently moved to Bayonne. Have tried a couple of the Chinese places for delivery. I've attempted Yummy Yummy 3 times with pretty poor results mostly, in both food and service, but the last delivery really lost me for them. And they just can't seem to get my order right! I order small, it's large. i order a Pepsi, i get C&C pineapple flavored soda. That was the closest they had to Pepsi? I asked for chopsticks each of the three times and they were not brought one of the three times. Not one of three delivery orders was entirely accurate. Made the mistake of ordering duck, hoping they had a little pride in what they make and i was wrong. I'm not one to throw out food but this was just disgusting and burnt. The menus went with it. Chicken wings were pretty good and were the highlight of the most recent meal. Egg rolls were also good. Fried Wontons have no meat, they are just fried puffy air things with s&s sauce. Delivery driver called me twice, once to ask the cross street and once when he was at my lobby. Address numbers and doorbells are not things this delivery driver does i guess. He was friendly however. Sorry Yummy, time for me to try one of the others around. hopefully there's one that appears to try. hard to believe people might order sushi from this place - that's terrifying.

Been ordering here for years. Most consistent place I've ordered from. Fast delivery, tasty food. Quality food? I don't know about that. If you're looking for affordable, greasy, Chinese food, this is the place.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
