This is a Petro brand truck stop - travel center. They have Baskin robins ice cream and the restaurant is called Iron Skillet. Not a bad place to refuel and grab a bite as you are traveling on I80 thru Nebraska.

Great place to stop and have a quick bite while passing through. The service was prompt, refilling beverages and clearing away plates quickly and politely. There was a decent selection of food and everything I tried was more than adequate for a buffet. On the whole, for $10, a good place to stretch your legs, eat your fill and be on your way.

Fairly good home style Buffett for lunch. Good chicken and soup. I would recommend the place as a place go vs. fast food. Quick and very friendly staff to help you. Where else can you go to eat? Applebee's wasn't very good the night before. Ice cream was delicious. It's a great place to people watch as the truckers and travelers come in from all over.

This a good place if you need some comfort food. The salad bar was tasty, but some bacon bits would be great. We all had the buffet and there was a nice selection. Pot roast, fish, mac and cheese, fried chicken, bbq pork roast and mashed potatoes were some of the selections. Soup and rolls were available as well as dessert plates. The service here was not great and really that was our only complaint. Our server obviously did not want to be there, and seemed a pretty grim, bored guy. At least he was prompt in taking away plates and bringing the bill. Overall, this is a good place for basic eats.

I eat at the iron skillet regular and everything was how I expected it to be. Always quick and good. Friendly staff and nice clean restaurant. Food was prepared right and you will be full when done.

I've probably been here 5 different times. I'm not crazy about the lunch buffet as most of the items seem to sit there quite a while. Most of the menu items I've seen have looked pretty decent. The staff has always been nice. Last time our family went here on a Sunday night and had the Prime Rib buffet. For $15, this is a very good deal, especially considering their normal buffet is 10 or $12 w/o the Prime Rib. Prime Rib was actually done Rare (Which I LOVED). If you want a sitdown place and don't have much time, I'd say this is a good option for York. But, otherwise if you have more time, I'd recommend Chances R or Kerry's in McCool (5 miles to the South).

Was not ready for this.A Prime Rib buffet on a Sunday night.. That was great!! but pricey.. $14.99 for it . Ate breakfast here the next morning,but its the same as any other Perto... Lack luster at best.. Wait staff at breakfast a bit rude...

Our food was hot, fresh, fast, and delicious. Service with a smile. Our server, Pamela, hit it out of the park. If your looking for a good breakfast in York, I'd suggest you try the iron skillet. Great selection on the menu.
