My wife, brother and I ate here around 3:15 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon. When we arrived, we were the only diners in the entire restaurant. To our pleasant surprise, all the food was hot and fresh. We noticed that they rotated the food for newer, fresher food, multiple times while we were there. There is a full salad bar with fresh vegetables and different types of sushi. There were probably two or three dozen different Chinese food dishes to choose from including crab legs with drawn butter and numerous shrimp dishes. I liked the peppered chicken, buttery shrimp, fried rice and lo mein noodle dishes best. Far above average for a Chinese buffet. I highly recommend China Buffet while in York, NE.

Some of the worst Chinese food I have had. Service was not terrible but not good either. Price was too high even if it was decent. Will not ever go back. Sorry.

Ok, it's the healthiest option as far as I can see in this town. So, considering that....the food was very decent for what it was. Much larger variety of food than the Chinese buffet across the street. Like 200% more food options. 3 large hot bars of food....one cold bar for salads & dessert. This place deserves to do well, because they are trying to provide a good mix of healthy options that are freshly prepared. If stopped in this town, I would eat here again. Freshly cooked broccoli & beef was my favorite option. Also, they had fried plantains. And chicken wings.

Healthiest option in town. Perfect pit stop for a truck driver because there is a Walmart behind. And you can park there. Best dish was broccoli w/ chicken. They also have beef w/broccoli. Lo mein with veggies. Filled up with healthy options. They have a salad bar too!

3 stars might be a bit low, but, 4 stars would be high. So, 3.5. I think it's the best Chinese buffet in York, but, that's not saying a lot. Most of the food is pretty decent. The pepper chicken is excellent, butter shrimp is good, seafood bake is good, pork w/ mushrooms is good as well. Also, their crab rangoons and stuffed mushrooms use the same filling which is very good. However, the last couple times I've been there, about half of the food has only been luke-warm. That's not very appetizing on a buffet. Their servers are also not the most hospitable I've ever seen. Overall, pretty good food, but, need happier staff and to keep the items on the buffet heated.

No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
