We have family dinner night at grandmas every Sunday and this is one of our go to places. We always call in our order to go and is ready for pick up in twenty min or less. Never been disappointed.

We go here every year while visiting family, as it's consistently yummy. Our meal there a few days ago was no exception. The hot and sour soup, sesame chicken, and hot garlic shrimp were great. And best yet, our service was fantastic!

This place is fantastic! I had the special #1 and had fried squid. I never had squid taste as good this place. They even make their own egg rolls! I highly recommend this place. This has to be the best Chinese place in Scottsbluff!

Without a doubt, Wonderful House has the best Chinese in the area. Tables are clean, food is delivered promptly. Large selection and reasonable prices. Great drinks. The pu-pu platter is large and comes with a grill/fire in the middle. The restaurant is the only Chinese place I've been to that serves calamari.

I struggle rating places that are in the middle of nowhere. Chinese in the middle of Scottsbluff, NE is kind of scary. Do I rate it based on where it's located or how it compares to all other Chinese places? We ordered lunch take out from here yesterday for the entire team. I ordered something simple, Cashew Chicken lunch special. It was okay, it came with fried rice, one egg roll, and a crab cheese wonton. The egg roll and wonton weren't especially memorable but were decent for NE I guess. Overall I wasn't blown away and I didn't get sick. If I was in the area again I would probably pass on lunch from here. Not worth it in my opinion.

Listen....One must consider the limitations of a really good Chinese restaurant in the hinterlands of Nebraska. The service is competent, the food is hot and tasty and comes out extremely fast, and it's amazingly inexpensive. I have never had any problems or complaints about them. A few things said about other reviewers need to be clarified: - they do not have a small dinner menu. Anything you can order at lunch is available at dinner, it just doesn't come as a special with the soup, Rangoon, and egg roll like the lunch menu. - in 8 years of eating here I have never been insulted by the "little elderly lady at the cash register", nor have I heard of such a thing from anyone I know. She's efficient and extremely busy. One server recognized us as regulars and at the end of our meal brought us each a bowl of unidentified fruit, along with pineapple and ice chips. We were so pleased. I recognized the fruit from a childhood trip to SF. When I asked him if it was Longan he was thrilled! I asked him where to get it? He said they buy cans of it at H-mart in Denver. And we had just been there the weekend before, so he was even more excited. He must have told the entire staff because we get royalty treatment every time we're there. I LOVE this little place!

I expected more from this place after the reviews I had read. I would've given it 2 stars, but the staff was quite friendly. The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good. Definitely at the bottom of my list for Chinese. If you're in the area, I'd recommend eating at one of the great Mexican restaurants nearby instead.

I stopped by to pick up a to-go order of moo goo gai pan chicken. I was really pleased by the subtle taste, the generous portion, the crisp snow peas and the super-friendly waitress who took my order. While I waited, they brought me very inexpensive cup of superb hot & sour soup which hit the spot. Too bad I live in Omaha or else I'd be back regularly.

I was in the mood for something different this trip to Scottsbluff. Wonderful House always seems to have a lot of cars out front, and online reviews were mostly good, so I figured I'd try it out. The good: the hot and sour soup was indeed very tasty. Also, the lo mein that came with my dinner combination was wonderfully garlicky. It was the best thing on my plate; they should consider making a trip to the Gilroy Garlic Festival and serving it there. Also, I got a lot of food for my money. My combination was $8 and I left most of my fried rice on the plate, just because I was full. Service was polite and attentive. The not so good: they only offer a few dinner combinations, so I ended up with a sweet and sour combination. It was fine, but nothing special. My hot and sour soup originally came out cool. I had to send it back to be heated up. Also, the side room I sat in was very cold. Be aware of the temperature when they seat you, and ask to sit in the other room if the temperature is uncomfortable. To sum this up, I'll go back, but preferably with another person so I can try some of the more traditional items on the menu. I'd say the food quality is slightly above average and the value is good.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
