Came here on a Tuesday night. Had a good old fashioned and the bartender made a "mocktail" for my partner. Super mellow atmosphere, which is why I like bars on weekdays. They have a good selection of nice liquor and bitters and clearly like making nice cocktails. Can't speak as to how this place is on the weekends.

Young, college crowd on the weekends. Would be fun about 7 years ago, but just not what I'm looking for now. I got a vanilla bean beer. It was a surprisingly tasty beer, but it was the only thing I enjoyed about my experience. I wish it was a place to chill and drink a few beers with friends. The upstairs portion has this feel, but the music is so loud from downstairs. I wish I could say I will go back. Unfortunately, it seems doubtful.

The $5 cover for guys is understandable but annoying to all my guy friends. Definitely a reason to consider another bar when your party has 4+ guys. It's loungish and barish and clubish all at once. Upstairs is more like a lounge, theres a room with a DJ for music and dancing, and there's floor space by the bar to mingle and order drinks. I guess it's kinda like killing three birds with one bar. In other news thank god I didnt need to use the restroom. There were 2 nasty stalls and a lonnnnnng line. You're standing there long enough to get the life story of the glassy eyed lass next to you. Double ick. Theres a great selection of drinks and goddamn pyramid on tap ...so basically its a gift from god for me. Bartenders acknowledged me pretty quickly which is always a plus! I think this is fun for an "occasions" bar (some sort of celebration) but not your weekend watering hole.

The night I came here (Saturday) ladies got in free, not sure if it's that way every week or not. Band was okay and shots were decently priced. Bartenders were hardly dressed and gave much attention to males at the bar. Us ladies had to wait a while to be helped. They have a bar on either side which is nice. There was a live band that night, and they were okay. not sure if I'd return.

A good bar but slightly overrated. Good selection of drinks and they're well made although over priced. The bartender was a little grumpy (cheer up dude, I'm tipping you after all). Their bathrooms were horrible! No toilet paper and it was a complete mess. Bars need to take more pride in customer facilities. They're just as important as the drinks. No point making a good drink in a nice glass, garnishing it well and serving on a napkin if the bathrooms we have to use are vile.

Skip this place. Even 311 fans do not need to check it out. Paid for a 311 after party ticket after Grassroots and night prior doorman said the band would be making an appearance. The band did not make and appearance and I am not sure what I paid for, a mediocre DJ played music in one area where people danced a little and amateur hoola hoopers thought we wanted to see them up on stage, the rest of the spot was a bar atmosphere with a little 311 memorabilia. not sure what this place is trying to accomplish, maybe a core group of locals enjoy this place but out of towners need not waste the time. I'm sure Omaha has the talent to create a credible afterparty but the hive staff forgot to hire them and instead gouged money off of 311 fans. So bizarre...

I first discovered this bar a long time at its old location! It recently moved to a bigger spot in the heart of downtown and it's still one of my most favorite bars in Omaha! I attended opening night when they had a live band (KLB) perform and even with the immense number of people that were there the staff was still incredible! The service is great as well as the atmosphere. I definitely recommend checking this place out whenever you're downtown!

Loved the atmosphere and the people, wasn't fun waiting 15 minutes for a drink though and the place wasn't even busy. Seems like a really nice bar and its well laid out, I'll be back.

What a great place to have a craft drink and listen to good bands. So awesome they it's in The Old Market and that 311 supports them! Definitely going to my place to be at regular there....and I live far west!!
