Food is fast and decent. It's a great place to get drunk. I honestly had a good time here, even though when I asked the bartender to make me a liquid cocaine, she came back with something that tasted like it was diarrhea from a demon. It was terrible to drink. Liquid cocaine is supposed to have amaretto, southern comfort, pineapple and Orange juice. The drink she brought Me had every dark hard liquor in it. She did replace the drink and let me have the demon shit. And from that demon shit, I got wasted as a mofo. I had a headache the size of road island about 30 minutes after we left.

We've been to this location four times... and it was three times too many. The first visit was ok. Actually met the owner, the food was good, we were thinking this place had promise. The second time, no owner, wacky bartender/server, but she was running her a$$ off trying to help everyone. So we gave her some slack. Third visit... found out why she's so wacky... D-R-U-N-K!!! Blitzed out of her mind. Saw her drinking at the bar while we were waiting on our food in the window. Then she'd do a shot with the people at the bar. It was the most absurd thing I've seen for a long time. She could barely get out sentences she was slurring so bad. Fourth (why the heck did we bother?)... we didn't even stay. We walked in, sat at a table, she was rude, drunk AGAIN, and so we just walked out. I'm sure she's not paying for those drinks she's taking from behind the bar. And I'm sure the regulars that sit at the bar and participate in her drunkedness benefit... she's so bombed I'm sure she has no idea how to add to their tab. Note to all out there... you can probably go to Caddy Shack, drink at the bar, and walk out... She would never know the difference! Sad...

This establishment is on its third owner/name/brand in maybe 5 years. Although Caddyshack West has been my favorite option of them so far, I fear it is heading for the same demise as Rum Runner or Harrison's Pub as I've noticed the same trends in this place as former. I go to this bar occasionally because the people are a lot of fun. The good: -The food! Large portions reasonably priced. I had a chance to speak with the cook and I could tell he was passionate about his job and put a lot of love in his food and, more importantly, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. Thanks, Geoff! You gotta try the tater tachos (tater tot nachos with an original name given by yours truly) and the wings! -The bartenders! They always greet me with a smile and make my friends and I feel welcomed. They are absolutely gorgeous and make well-balanced drinks. I like messing around with their wide variety of flavored vodkas. They always make sure I am safe, have a nearly full glass, and are having a good time. Thanks, Mel and Betsy! -The physical bar! The serving bar was forged from one tree hand-picked in Minnesota. It has a great feel from the glaze on the top, exposing a beautiful finish which matches the ebony wood patina on my iPhone (thanks, slickwraps!). -The patrons! The regulars here are classy and approachable people, lending way to a positive, safe, and inclusive environment. The bad: -The location! Kind of tucked away on 180th and Harrison...you have to go through neighborhood roads to get to it. It's between a daycare and a dance studio...questionable location for a bar. -The drink specials! Irrelevant or unsubstantial, $1 off drinks for happy hour is not a big draw. -The jukebox! Don't bother putting more than $1 in the juke because the owner will skip/not play your songs if they do not match his narrow spectrum of music. Who doesn't like Bruce Springsteen? Especially at a bar themed after an outdated movie that my dad likes...? The ugly: -The website: What is this....Wordpress? First-rate businesses have attractive websites. I would offer to help with this pro bono, but the owner called me fat so...yeah, no. -The leadership: I prefer owners or managers to be the host of the party - friendly faces, engaging with guests, and accommodating. I quit going to Harrison's Pub because the owner was a jerk. Overall though, not bad. Good place to watch football. Better crowd than the other bars down the street. UPDATE: I added another star to the review because the glasses are always clean and this has become my go-to spot for many occasions. Thanks for always taking good care of me.

I'm done giving this place chances. I've been three of four times, every time has been disappointing. Once I asked for a long island instead of my usual beer, and it just taste like straight gin and tequila. The bartender saw me make a face and came to the table to make fun of me for "not knowing a good drink when I had one" and brought me a coke to mix it with. Didn't even offer to remake it, or better yet, have someone who knew what they were doing make one for me. How hard is it to google a recipe that you don't know? Another time I sat at the bar for over 20 minutes before being asked what I wanted to drink. A third time, I had been charged twice for my entire bill and it took them over a week to correct it. Drinks are over priced, one of the girl bartenders is always drunk, service is minimal, music can be bad- like, frozen the Disney movie playing, bad. Won't be returning anytime soon.

The place was great to watch the game - the steak sandwiches are worth the trip - a good place to relax
