I love this place. Good ribs, steak, bread with cinnamon butter, appetizers, sweet tea...yummmmmm...I'm making myself hungry. Oh, they have buckets of peanuts at every table that you can snack on while you wait. You can also throw the shells on the floor. Don't worry, everyone does it. You'll see, the floor is littered with peanut shells. Try it, it's delicious!

The food here is delicious. This is the reason why I do not go to Outback Steakhouse anylonger. Please call ahead and make sure everyone in your party is there, when you get the buzzer. The wait on a Friday or Saturday night is SICK! You'll find out why the wait is so long, once you taste the delicious food offered.

I heard a lot of good things about this place and finally decided to try it. We went on a Wednesday night and it was packed! They have a waiting area in the front with a big barrel of peanuts for you to munch on. When you get seated you get 6 hot out of the oven rolls that just melt in your mouth. We had the Fort Worth (?) steak and a K.C. Strip. Both steaks were absolutely delicious! Total price of the meal was $37 and the service was very good. I don't give many 5 stars so this place is definitely something special.

Those rolls and excellent service bring us in once a week!!! I love the kabob without seasoning because the steak is so flavorful. Stay away from the chicken but everything else is great!

BEST STEAK I EVER HAD! ENDLESS BREAD WITH THE OMG-CINNAMON BUTTER SPREAD. SO DELICIOUS! Will always go back anytime, any day.

Service was a little slow, but the food was great as always. Only complaint is that the mashed potatoes seemed like they may have been sitting awhile. The were definitely not fresh.

The girl that took us to our table was completely rude. I think her name was Morgan. The food was amazing and our server was amazing we had abby. She was amazing.

We've always enjoyed our meals here, but went back this time because my wife had a birthday coupon for some free ribs. We went for lunch on Tuesday - oops - not open for lunch during the week. So we went somewhere else and then came back later for dinner. She got the ribs and enjoyed them. I got the grilled shrimp skewers over rice and absolutely loved them. Service was good and friendly. The only negative was the noise level. At times we couldn't hear each other across the table. The birthday song they do is extremely loud and annoying, especially six times in one hour.

While their onion is not near as good and the environment is not near as fancy as at outback their fresh buns with cinnamon butter are worth the entire trip if for nothing else go their and get like 3 orders of their buns you won't regret it.

Oddly enough the steak is better in Albuquerque than on Omaha. Not sure how that happens but it's still my favorite place to eat.

I'm in town for business so I thought I'd pick up my favorite 1/2 chicken for dinner. I called it in and was told 20-25 minutes. When I got there I literally walked into a cluster of customers and staff. It was the most unorganized experience I've ever had. The place to pick up to go orders is literally right next to the hostess stand. I was bumped into by at least 6 staff members while waiting to be noticed by whoever it was that was taking care of the to gos. 10 minutes later a young lady finally asked how she could help. Overall the experienced sucked but I must say the chicken was delicious.

The best chain I've been to. Good food and better service which says a lot. The best chili in town no doubt, I'd buy a steak just to get a bowl.

I haven't thought about this place in 2 years and it will probably be another 2 years before I go back ... Caesar salad was tasteless and my filet was cooked perfectly but was flavorless... Burger King has more flavor... It was so loud that we couldn't talk!!! And they won't seat you unless your entire party is there.... I went with my dad.... Really... A party of 2 and there is no table

Holy Rib Eye! Came here on recommendation of several co workers and I am so glad I did. And even more glad it's a chain so I can go to one on the East Coast when I go home. Even though Texas Roadhouse doesn't take reservations, the website said that you could call ahead to put your name on the wait list, which I did and got a table within 3 minutes of arriving there. The restaurant is casual with a country flair. Wait staff is very nice and very attentive. I got to pick out my own bone in rib eye out of the showcase. Upon being seated at the booth, I got a big pail of peanuts but didn't have any since I didn't want to ruin my appetite. The bread was fresh baked and came with a cinnamon sugar whipped butter. Yum! The steak came with two sides. I got the House Salad which was very good: lettuce, onions, bacon, cheese, egg, tomatoes with my choice of Lite Ranch. I also got the baked sweet potato which came with butter and brown sugar. There was also a 'loaded' option which adds mini marshmallows but I opted for the 'plain' which was very tasty! The bone in rib eye was huge and perfectly prepared (medium rare). ALL of this for $20.99!!! I was stuffed to the gills and took more than half my steak back to the hotel. My waitress was nice enough to get me another side of bread and butter, as well as steak sauce and plastic cutlery. Great food, Great service, Great value! Highly recommend!

Always very satisfied here. Great hand cut steaks and tasty sides. Wonderful place to take kids as there is always something happening to look at; and it is loud so no one gets concerned if the kids are loud too.

Price range $11-$30 is what Yelp says. Yeah right!! Maybe if you are eating a sandwich by yourself! Look, the food is fine and depending on what you order it will be anywhere between below avg to above avg. There is nothing special about this BBQ other than all of the fricken birthdays each night. I swear there are 3 birthday clapping/singing episodes every time I've been there. So, in that sense, great for young kids. A bullet to the head (or 5 margaritas if you can get them in time) for the adults. For the adults: This place is packed everyday and night. If you like eating peanuts that every kid in town has touched while waiting 30-60 minutes for a table, you will love it here. Then you will stuff yourself with so much healthy bread you might barf after your get done eating your pork. Its fine if you are into basic BBQ and can find alternate times to avoid the crowds I suppose. Why is the bar area so small? I think 12 people can fit around the bar area but if you don't get the area facing the 2 TVs, you neck will start hurting. One question for stockholders, management and other operators: Where in the name of Allah is the Pulled Chicken??? You have no pulled chicken on the menu! ...OMG, and no Brisket???? You have no Brisket for dinner or for a sandwich! I do not even think I can call this a BBQ joint anymore. A better name would be Childrens Roadhouse Diner.

I have eaten here several times and love it. It's the only place my 13 year old wants to eat ribs from. The prime rib is delicious! Servers are fun and efficient! It is a noisy place so if your hard of hearing like me don't expect to have a good conversation in here. The only less than desirable experience we had was when we came in the afternoon as the ribs my son likes weren't quite "fall of the bone" yet, but that was my fault and I figured that would be the case.

Call ahead and put your name in bit will dramatically shorten your wait. It is a chain restaurant. Loud. Good place to take kids because you won't bother others around you.

So so national chain steakhouse my son had a steak salad and fries, my daughter chicken Fries and a salad they both enjoyed the rolls I went with the tater skins which were ho hum. Plastic cheese with plenty of bacon bits but a fresh blend of cheeses bacon bits and chives would have made them pop and make me think about coming back. Oh well I can dream. The strawberry lemonade was good. Atmosphere pleasant but very dark esp considering it was lunch. Our server was awesome. Great guy with a great customer service attitude helped the overall score. Bathrooms are extremely run down and smelly. Didn't help someone had made a mess and didn't bother to clean up or ask anyone else to bother not anything I want to see first stall into a bathroom. Mentioned it to the ladies up front who seemed appalled. Just didn't want to embarrass any male employees. so all in all won't make an effort to go back. If someone suggests it I can always drink a lemonade.

Very pleased with our server checked up on us enough to make sure our food was cooked correctly and that our drinks were filled..and the bread they give you when first seated is delicious! love the atmosphere and the fact you can though the peanut shells on the floor..kids had a blast and loved they could make a mess with the peanuts!

The steak I had here was good, altho not quite cooked as well as I'd have liked. We were a party of 7 and called ahead so were able to get seated quickly. They were super loud and it seemed like 34 different people were having birthdays because they came out and line-danced for every single one of them. Service was just okay. You'd think with a party our size they would have been a little more on it, but after taking our drink order and then our food order, they never came back and offered anyone another round. I'd probably come give them another shop, but hopefully they'd be quieter!

I should have never dined here. I know better, I can't stand that this place always has a wait, but what did I do, I got out voted and my friends dragged me along. Just a train wreck, perfect for dumb dinners to drink the kool-aid and that damn butter.

After watching our son play his final game of the season, we headed over to the Texas Roadhouse on the suggestion of his teammate. The bread are phenomenal and the service was fantastic. jI was a little disappointed with my Catfish which I would normally eat with hot sauce [Louisiana style]. When I asked for hot sauce, they brought me a BBQ type spicy i-dont-konw. I should have asked for Tabasco or something else. We had already tried our sampler and I had a bowl of Chili so I wasn't that hungry any more [did I mention the bread]. Overall, we were all very happy. I think every Nebraska Cornhusker was in their jersey at Texas Roadhouse. The girls also put on a dance for the audience. I would come back for sure.

Love this place! I always go with the 8 ounce sirloin, $10, and am stuffed! Even though it's a chain, WAY better than Outback Steakhouse. WAY better. The steaks actually are seasoned just right, the steak fries are my favorite, and even the side salads are quite exceptional. The baskets of bread are addicting, as well. If you're looking for a good, enjoyable meal that'll average $8-13 bucks a person, this is it. This place is usually pretty busy for a reason. Try their happy hour specials, you can get 6 oz. steaks and yummy burgers from $6-8 bucks I think before 5pm?

I've been here a few times and it's been good every single time. I wouldn't put it on the same level as Plaza III or even The Drover but it's a bit cheaper and the portions are fairly large. Omahans love chain restaurant and this one is no exception. If you drop by during the dinner rush, be prepared to wait a while unless you do the call ahead seating. The interior is pretty standard for a casual steakhouse so there's no need to dress up. My only recommendation is to show up hungry! If you're looking for a good steak and at a decent price and you don't mind waiting, I recommend it.

I travel a lot of business, so I've been to a few Texas Roadhouse restaurants because of the many healthy options they have (I can easily get a great meal for less than 600 calories). The one I visited tonight in Omaha just blew me away! The service was outstanding from the moment I walked in the door. The hostess and my server took a genuine interest in me and made very natural conversation. It never felt fake or forced, and my server called me by name. The food was exactly as I asked for it- my salad with dressing and cheese on the side, and my medium-rare sirloin grilled perfectly. I'll make this a regular stop on my future visits back to Omaha, and will encourage my friends and family in the area to come anytime.

This place really is packed as other reviewers have written! We sat in a booth and began the ordering...the baby onion blossom was a little too greasy for most of us. Next up, filet medallions (medium well) in the pepper corn sauce (too sweet) and the sirloin kabobs. The sirloin kabobs much to my surprise were delicious. The filet was a bit tougher than it should have been and the sauce not as "peppery" as I would have liked. The rice was mediocre but the fries were spiced well. Overall, the three star rating is due to the quality of the filet.

Fiancee and I had talked about trying Texas Roadhouse for a while, chose a cold January Monday night hoping to avoid a crowd. They were busy but we sat right away in tall seats near the bar, small table, not particularly comfortable. Enforced fun from the wait staff which is not our style, though our server was fine. Steaks were absolutely delicious. I had bone-in rib eye. It's not my favorite cut as it can be a bit fatty, but I gathered it was their specialty. Juicy and very tasty. Fiancee had a filet, smooth as butter, which she also loved. We both thought the steaks could have been served at a higher-end establishment without batting an eye.

Beef tips, broccoli, and smashed potatoes with gravy FTW. Probably ate 1 or 2 or 37 rolls. Good price. Our server (Josh) was excellent!!

I decided to come in here for steak... since I had a crave for some good steak. After all this rain, I figured a good piece of ribeye will do me good. Upon walking in here, there was a 5-10 min wait, which was not bad. Right off the bad, I can see the nice, and friendly staff; mostly beautiful young girls.... (a plus!!) I ordered their 20 oz. Bone-in Ribeye, medium-rare; accompanied with butter corn, side mushrooms and a salad. Their complimentary bread is great, alongside cinnamon butter spread; great combination. While waiting for the food, the staff broke off with a line dance in the main aisle of the restaurant. This is great to entertain the crowd. On top of it all, each table has a full bucket of peanuts which is great, since we are allowed to make a mess by tossing the shells on the floor. No need to eat clean in here. I can't find anything bad about this restaurant.. . It's a chain restaurant, but it's quality is good and their food is well-cooked and prepared. Totally recommend anyone who is in a crave for some good steak.

It's been forever since we went here, but decided to go one evening out of desire for the warm rolls. Service seems a bit disorganized...even with call ahead seating. But we were able to get in 10 minutes after we arrived. Good 1. Rolls were good and plentiful 2. Steak was actually really decent (Sirloin) and baked potato was good too. 3. Service was friendly and fairly prompt. Bad 1. Noise level- Didn't bother me too much but if you're looking for a quiet dinner, this won't be it. 2. Country Music Overall, I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted as good as I remembered. Both my husband and I got the Wednesday Sirloin special ($9.99) and given that it was 10 oz, we were both stuffed. We both agreed we should probably start considering coming here more often. Keep up the good work and turn down the country music!

The food is good. The noise level is unbearable and destroys the eating experience. Bring ear plugs.

I love this place. It's certainly not the healthiest of food options but the food tastes so good you forget that guilty feeling when you're in there. It seems to always be busy. Every Time I've been there everyone's meal was on point.

The only purpose of this review is to highlight Alex (AJ) our server tonight. He is literally the best serve I have had to date. Insofar as Texas Road House, it is exactly what it advertises. It is value driven and a very relaxed atmosphere. I have typically shyed from it because I don't enjoy a loud dining experience, but my serve tonight may have earned Texas Road House a new loyal customer.

I came here a month ago with my family for a casual lunch and this place does not disappoint even though I'm usually the type of person who avoids these places. My family and I arrived at noon on a Sunday and we were seated in five minutes by a friendly waitress who served us for the remainder of our meal. I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and an Arnold Palmer (iced tea + lemonade, FYI) and both were delicious. My burger was made to order medium rare and I could say that it's one of the best burgers I've had. The meat was juicy, cooked to perfection, and flavorful. I would've finished it right away if it wasn't so big! The fries it was served with were typical restaurant quality and nothing special, though. I also enjoyed the AP; the tea to lemonade ratio was balanced and drink wasn't sickeningly sweet. Oh, I forgot, the bread that was served before the meal was tasty but a bit too filling. The prices were reasonable and affordable, but I'm from California. I'll be sure to stop by the next time I visit Omaha.

This is such a fun, casual and in my opinion the best value for your money! I love the call a head seating feature. I'm usually waiting for less the 10-15 minutes. The food is consistently good as is the service all at a reasonable price. Texas Roadhouse is definitely doing something right, they are ALWAYS busy!

I've been here so many times, I should have my own booth. Never had a bad experience here. Staff is always friendly and energetic. Love the peanuts at the table to munch on. However if you are allergic to peanuts, you'll need to be very careful here as there are peanut shells/dust everywhere... Food is always good here. It's usually crowded here, we learned the hard way about Call Ahead Seating. We wondered why people that just got here were getting called for their table before us. It's not a reservation, but it will cut your wait time by 1000%. It can be loud here, especially when you happen to visit when 14 people have birthdays....but it's all in good fun. The only thing I wish they would improve on their restaurants would be to provide free WI-FI for their customers.
