Looking at their menu online, I was excited to see that they had a veggie sandwich that looked hearty. And it was! I had the Mediterranean and the hummus was delicious. All of the veggies tasted fresh. Artichokes provided a good tang and the peppers added the punch for completion. I highly recommend the Mediterranean sandwich.

Fast, amazing sandwiches. So thankful they were in the Portland Airport!

This is the first Potbelly Sandwich Shop in the Omaha area, and today, the day after their Grand Opening, it was a busy luncheon hour, there were hardly any tables left in the restaurant, and the ordering lines were almost going to the door. Typical order: choose your Sandwich and Bread, Sandwich Extras, and then your toppings, which are made to order. I didn't know they had Soups and Shakes (I was told by my sandwich maker that the Oreo Shake was the best). I just ordered the Mediterranean Sandwich (Hummus, Feta Cheese, Artichoke Hearts, Roasted Red Peppers) with Chicken, and it was very decent, spicier then I thought, but smaller than other local sandwich shops. I had heard good things from people who have been to the Chicago Potbelly's, we will have to see if this Sandwich Shop finds a niche in our market. Inside was cozy, parking ample, and it is easy to see off of Blondo... I hear that they will have live, local bands here in the future, so we might see more opening up soon in our area.

Potbelly's is my favorite of the fast-food/fast-casual sandwich restaurants in Omaha. Their food tastes a lot fresher than what you get at a Jimmy Johns or Subway and it's a place I actually enjoy eating at (rather than needing a quick meal on the go). Favorites are the Wreck and the Chicken & Cheddar sandwiches. They toast everything (though I'm sure you could ask for untoasted) and it is delicious! Their soup is also very good. I really like their Chicken Enchilada soup--just the right amount of spice. All in all, this has become my go-to when I am in the mood for a sandwich or soup (over Panera by far), despite being quite a drive for me. I hope they open more locations soon!

Really, what can one say about a sandwich shop? It is quite simple to do at home. a few pieces of bread and you put something between them. When Potbelly came to town I was super excited because I had eaten at a Chicago location and enjoyed it greatly. Potbelly has the one thing that perpetrates them from the others and the one thing that appeals to me. PB&J! toasted goodness. It can be more expensive than doing it yourself, but that is why one usually goes out to eat. Give them a shot. I will be back when I am in the area.

I eat here 3+ times a week because it is right by my work and is delicious! I haven't got tired of the turkey with ranch and Swiss, so I haven't tried anything else. The cookies are delicious and always fresh! Smoothies and milkshakes are great too! Can't beat the price and deliciousness of this place!

After becoming addicted to Potbelly in Chicago, I was so excited when I heard that they were opening an Omaha location. Not only is it just as tasty as all of the ones I've eaten at in Chicago, it has the benefit of being about two blocks away from my house. :). Grilled chicken and cheddar with hot peppers is my absolute favorite thing to eat there, though everything I've ever tried has been delicious!

Big fan of Potbellys here. Glad we have them here now: The local store is rightfully overrun by the locals who are not disappointed in turn. I had the Pizza sandwich and my wife had the Mediterranean-both of which we great. Portion size is great for the meager price. We had someone singing us covers and the crowd moved along fairly rapidly allowing most patrons to sit in. Great start!

We went a week after they opened. The staff was really helpful while we were trying to go through all of the menu items. My boyfriend got a pizza sandwich and I got a blue cheese salad and milk shake. Everything was delicious. The location is great, the restaurant is clean and well decorated. Since it was newly opened there was a guitar player in the corner. I loved the live music.

Potbelly's has finally arrived in Omaha and it is just as good as I remember it being. The wreck is my personal favorite sub. The owner/operators are local brothers who bring great customer service to the already great food!

Unlike most reviewers here who have experienced Potbelly in some other location, we were all Potbelly virgins. We went here on a Sunday afternoon post church. It looked "busy" as any new restaurant would be, but fortunately that didn't scare us away. The line moves fast! In fact, while eating I noticed one of their "promises" was that you would be in the line no longer than 8 minutes max. We ordered the Pizza Sandwich and Two Meatballs on wheat. Their subs are toasted (+) and then toppings are added. One thing I would *probably* change is your inability to see them add the toppings on your sandwich due to the setup. This wouldn't be a problem if you're 7 feet tall, but for the rest of us, we can't see it! The atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed. Even for a busy Sunday, it didn't feel crowded or rushed which was perfect. To top it off, the musician they had playing that day covered a host of indie songs (death cab, shins, radiohead) so the music was right up my alley! The actual food was good although I felt that the sandwiches were small (I wish they had a variety of sizes) and that 3 meatballs was a bit sparse for the amount of bread. So in summary: Value- 4 stars Speed/Service- 5 stars Food- 4 stars. It wasn't remarkable...tasted like a meatball sub at any other sandwich shop (Quiznos, Jersey Mikes, Firehouse, etc.) Music- 5 stars Overall, we'd be back again if we're in the area!

I was excited to learn Potbelly was coming to Omaha after having eaten there in Chicago several times. We have visited several times since they opened and I have not been disappointed yet. The service is always great, the food is delicious and I love the atmosphere. I almost always order the chicken salad on wheat. The sandwiches are all toasted - which I love, and the chicken salad is flavorful, and is drier rather than laden with mayo. I usually get a few of the hot peppers added which provides just a little kick. I've had the chicken enchilada soup and it is good. The shakes and baked goods are a nice treat. We will be back!

Very good. I recommend the "a wreck" sandwich. Its basically a better tasting quisno's with a better environment. This is one of the better deli's I have eaten at. Even though there was a long line it was quick service with a smile. Also the restaurant is well spaced so kids and car seats fit will.

Have gone to Pot Belly several times since my first review. All the sandwiches are good as I was told by the employee. I disagree with my original review and feel the sandwiches are competitive in size to its competitor's. There is seating out doors which is great. Try it you will like it.

I thought the sandwiches were over-priced. There is no kids menu and the sandwiches were just pretty normal toasted subs! I can't say that we'll be back.

Service was good but wasn't overly impressed with the food. I have fond memories of going to the one in Chicago. Nothing more than a Quiznos sandwich. I had the Mediterranean sandwich. Again it was okay but I don't crave it.
