We were in a bit of a hurry and real fast food (i.e. McDs, BK, Wendy's) is off our radar. This place caught our eye so we stopped in. I ordered the grilled veg wrap (hold the rice filler, please) and my lunch companion went with a grilled chicken salad. The veg wrap was filling and salty (puffed up like a tic the next day). The salad consisted of grilled chicken and veg atop a mound of shredded iceberg. Service was fast (order at the counter) and friendly, so I can see the appeal over the lunch hour. Looking around at the other patrons, it seemed the meat philly's with fries was the way to go, but I'm guessing they were puffed up like ticks too.
Pretty sure I have a bit of a love affair with Pepperjax. I'm not even kidding when I say I physically have to resist the urge to go here every time I get a BOGO coupon. The steak philly and steak wrap are the way to go. I also like to take the free croutons on the condiments bar and dip them in their housemade ranch. I'm addicted, I admit this. The BEST place in omaha for a cheesesteak, hands down. All for around $7.

I enjoy my meal every single time I go! I've yet to be disappointed! When I don't feel like a steak philly, I get a steak rice bowl with black beans. They also have sauces- I love to get a few cups of mushroom sauce. Delicious! Don't get the sandwiches to go, unless you like your bread softer or on the soggy side.

This is a great Omaha place, I wish it would expand to back home in Detroit. It's a great concept with a simple menu. The food tastes great and I have never had any complaints. It's not five star worthy, but it is a place I would recommend to anybody.

Mr. GREATNESS wonders why people would go here for burritos or wraps. They have the best Philly cheese steaks MR. GREATNESS has ever tasted. He has tasted many around the country but not admittedly in Philadelphia yet. Is it the great tasting bread, the fine steak, the perfectly melted cheese or the onions and peppers that make it so good. MR. GREATNESS thinks it is the combination of all that makes it so good. MR. GREATNESS knows nothing about the rest of the foods here. There is no need to try them. Please, Earth Creatures, eat the reason to go here, and get your burritos at a Mexican joint. After MR. I just Love this place. The cheese steak sandwich is wonderful. The bread is great and the steak, cheese, onions and peppers are delicious. I always have them fireball it (add the juice from the jalapenos) and add jalapenos. The french fries are some of the best that I have had, I Always love to go here.

Pepperjax is a solid place to get a good cheese steak. It has that "franchise/restaurant chain" kind of feeling or atmosphere to it though. This is a good place to go for lunch. The food is tasty and the experience consistent.

This place is pretty unremarkable in my opinion. I've twice tried the burrito's and both times, I walked away thinking I would have gone to Chipotle or Qdoba. The set-up is similiar, you walk up to the counter, tell them what you want on it and they prepare it in front of you. The burrito is huge but the taste leaves a lot to be desired. It isn't bad but I wouldn't call it good either.

At first I thought... "That's way too much food, I'll never finish that," as I eyeballed the Steak Philly I'd ordered with sautéed peppers, onions and mushrooms. I also had a [fleeting] thought along the lines of "Wow, that's a lot of cheese slices" as they were loading this thing up on the grill right in front of me. Toasted bread was flying down a chute and the whole assembly line was somewhat memorizing. As was actually eating the sandwich. Which I did, whole-heartedly and greedily. (Yes, all of it. No judging.) Really hit the spot for my Philly craving on short notice.
