I had catering from this restaurant and it was delicious. I ordered half the chicken walnut sandwhich and pasta salad with the cookie for only $7. Good deal and taste.

I went here with my mom last week and it was just okay. It's basically a Panera which means they have fresh sandwiches, soups and coffee. I ordered the Paradise Club sandwich and a bowl of their clam chowder. The sandwich was okay and the soup was meh. The soup tasted just like Campbell's Chunky soup. It was so bland. The cookies were fantastic and is the only 'saving grace' for this review. I don't plan on going back any time soon.

Not satisfied with the nasty salad I was served. Tried contacting the company but got no responses.

I think this place is basically trying to be an upscale Panera. Which is funny because their pricing is very similar. Same concept. Sandwiches, soups, and salads along with a smatter of baked goods. Paradise emphasizes the café side of the business more than Panera does. Food is good. Not spectacular, but good. I enjoy their Chicken Walnut Salad on their Molasses Bread. Decent variety of soups and salads too. Employees are generally nice. There is a bit of confusion for the novice as to who you order what from and whether it's okay to bypass somebody waiting on something and whatnot. The employees could be better at directing customers and the regular customers could be a LOT nicer to people who don't have process memorized. Restaurant is clean and well-maintained. Nice outdoor dining area too.

I really like coming here. It's a pleasant place for a "sandwich/salad/coffee shop"; the food is good; the service has always been good every time I've been here, and the prices are good. The patio seating is very pleasant, and the indoor seating is nice as well. My absolute favorite is the Asian Chicken Salad. So good! I'm definitely a regular!

I am not sure why the ratings are ok. The two meals I've had were quite good and reasonably priced, the noon lunch line was long but employees did everything to speed the process.. lunch choose two special was fantastic, will be back often.

My wife and I showed up hoping for an experience similar to our memories of this place from years past. Strike one: We waited behind the counter of the near empty restaurant for about 3 minutes before someone appeared. When someone appeared, there was no greeting or apologies for our waiting, simply an inquiry about sandwiches we might want to order. Strike two: The meatball panini I ordered was tasty, but the meatballs were ice cold! This made the sandwich frustrating to eat. My wife's cranberry salad had surprise pieces of mandarin orange. She wasn't happy about that either. Strike three: My wife ordered a pick two with a turkey cranberry sandwich. She waited patiently after my sandwich arrived and hers never showed. She approached the counter who acted confused about the ordeal. Her sandwich had never been called out for preparation, and the very person who took our order asked her "who took your order?". This was a dismal experience, subpar as my wife put it. With so many options in the area, we won't be returning.

Good food at a reasonable price... lacking table service. I think the food quality is better at Panera but the baked goods are better here.

Pretty sterile environment, complete with smooth jazz background music. Still, Paradise fits in well with the uppity vibe of Regency Court. I had a half California Club (turkey and bacon) with a small mixed greens salad for less than $10. Good bread and fresher-than-normal vegetables. Sliced turkey was average. I definitely prefer this place to other casual dining competitors like Panera. The staff was nice and friendly.

They tout that they are famous for their cookies. So I decided to try them. Considering this place is in an upscale "mall" and that the cost reflects that, I figured they would be some great cookies. More like a great letdown. They look really good, but both kinds I got were below my standards. The snickerdoodle cookies were ok. A little dry and they kind of tasted like lard. The others that I got are normally my favorite... Oatmeal raisin. I ate one and spit it out and threw the rest away. They were hard as a rock and had that same kind of lardy flavor to them. Maybe it was a baking soda flavor... I can't tell but I know that something was way off. Even microwaving them didn't make them soft. I was highly disappointed since I've had better from the crappy Baker's grocery store bakery up the road. And at being 1/4 of the price I guess I'll just have to keep getting my cookies from there.

Went over for a quick soup and sandwich. Sorry but nothing remarkable here, in fact very bland on both.

Go during lunch mon-fri and prepare to wait. It's worth it though, good paninis and soups. Love the free cookie.

I've dismissed Paradise as being another Panera; I was wrong. My mother finally convinced me yesterday to accompany her for lunch at Paradise. A "You Choose Two" meal and a drink ran us a little over $11. For our "You Choose Two" we had the Asian Chicken Salad and the Chicken Walnut Sandwich. The salad really hit the spot. The sandwich was good - delicious whole walnuts and break included - but the chicken had that day-old chicken taste. Perhaps I'm too picky with my meats. And with the meal came a chocolate chip cookie; a nice hit of sugar at the end of a salty meal. Course, I didn't get to the chocolate chip cookie because my mom purchased a little container of cookies, and the chocolate ones were especially delicious. Sugary but delicious. You will not find a bargain here, but you will find made-to-order fresh foods and delicious cookies in a trendy bakery atmosphere. The staff was nice and this really seemed to be the place to be.

The salad was OK. Southwest Chicken Caesar. But it lacked some ingredients and was way too simple. Avocado would be nice. Enough cheese to actually notice would be nice. Better mixed greens instead of romaine would be nice (I know... it is a Caesar). But it was OK in taste. Bonuses: Friendly staff at the very bitter end of their evening (8pm), Diet Dr Pepper and Coke Zero at the fountain... my absolute two favorite sodas on the planet.

Not very friendly service. I went with my mom and brother and none of the employees even looked at us for about five minutes. I was ready to leave when one trudged over and asked if we wanted to order a sandwich.... Anyhow, price for all 3 of us to get lunch was 29.70. Overall it was decent but not amazing. The service ruined it for me, I probably won't be going back.

Wonderful peaceful atmosphere and top-quality coffee and pastries. Nice outdoor area for sunny days.

I love this place!! Came here three time during my visit in Omaha because it is located right accross the street from the hotel I am staying at. First time I had the oatmeal and a latte. I enjoyed it in their outside patio area. It was totally relaxing. 2nd and 3rd time, i came in for their flavored coffee and their toasted bagel with cream cheese. I got the bagel with poppy seed, sesame seed and sea salt on it and was remarkable. I got this two days in a row for breakfast...so good.

I love Paradise's sandwiches, and their cookies are pretty addictive. I guess their soup is good too, but I've only ever eaten their catered lunches (which are always winners, btw). Good quality ingredients, delicious bread and Ms Vickie's chips. Better than most other sandwich places that cater.

No soap or warmwater in restroom. The kitchen staff used bathroom while I was there. To think their hands were making my sandwich.

I went to the Village Pointe location for lunch and it was pretty busy. The sandwiches were very good and the chocolate chip cookies gave me 2 large pimple on both sides of my face lol. (I'm allergic to chocolate, but I forgot because those cookies were tasty!) The place was very clean and the service was very good and friendly. Definitely going back when I'm in the area.

This is one of my favorite cafe and bakery's in Omaha. They have a very diverse and good menu, as well as fabulous chocolate chip cookies. My favorites: BBQ Chopped Chicken Salad Tomato Soup Grilled Cheese Tuna Salad Sandwich Chocolate Chip Cookies Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie (great for birthdays) Cons: - Paradise is a little more expensive than they should be. - They is always a line and during peek hours it's hard to find a table. - Service isn't always great.

As I'm getting older, I'm starting to realize many important things. More than five beers on any given weeknight is not a good idea. Always be prepared to buy a pack of light bulbs when you move into a new place. And there's almost nothing better in the winter months than eating a good soup. Paradise has very good soup. The sandwiches are good, too and the cookie included with every meal is a plus, but I'm a big fan of the soup.

We regularly come here for lunch on weekend shopping trips. The soups range from mediocre (vegetable) to good (corn chowder) to delicious (roasted tomato). We love the Greek salad. The sandwiches are ok. We were somewhat disappointed with the turkey reuben, but others have been better. The free chocolate chip cookie is good. They brew iced tea in a variety of flavors, although it is usually a bit overbrewed. They do have Diet Dr. Pepper 'on tap' on the fountain drinks, so that is also a plus.
