I walked in and there were several people in line. I thought I would be waiting awhile to order but two more cashiers stepped up to assist and I only had to wait a couple of minutes to place my lunch order. You've got to love the awareness of the staff on that! The place was bustling as usual throughout with about 3/4 of the tables occupied. I ordered the Turkey Cranberry Flatbread with Grain Chicken Salad which was very good. The turkey is roasted and cut thick as if it was from the Thanksgiving bird. Wait time for it to show up at my table was less than five minutes. A staff member took away my plate soon after I was done with the meal. Again, attentive staff kudos! Great food and service all around.

The Italian Combo Sandwich on a French baguetteon was packed full of fresh yummy ingredients...and it was huge! I know I sound greedy, but my only complaint -the bag of chips only had a few tiny chips, the bag was 89.9999% air. Even so, I will definately order this combo again! Make sure you sign up for a Panera card, because I occasionally get a little something when paying, such as a dollar off a drink, free coffee, etc.. I really dig Panera.

Thank you, Panera, for making tonight (9/18/15),so much better. After going next door to a free invite to Qdoba, I came out angry, disgusted, disappointed and walked over to Panera. The staff were polite, helpful, (though I was obviously a big crabby pants) and provided the most delicious, comforting mac and cheese bowl. Such creamy, warm, savory comfort food. Thanks to the very polite and sweet staff who probably overheard me ranting about next door's event, they were professional, helpful and made my night 100% better with the delightful cup of mac and cheese. Thank you. Panera, you made my night!

30 minutes for my breakfast sandwich and then they got the order wrong and no oatmeal. 40 minutes for a simple order total. Next time I'll go to McDonalds, or a different Panera.

The thing about Panera is that once you've been there a time or two, you know what to expect and it is usually pretty good. If I remember correctly, they were among the first about 10 years ago to offer "free wi-fi" which made it a great place to study and probably still is. My favorite menu items are the ceasar salad, the bacon turkey bravo, and the French onion soup and with the "You Pick Two" option you can have a couple. They frequently have new items to try out. Their baked egg souffles are really awesome for breakfast! Also, love the variety of scones and the cherry/apple/cheese pastry rings which can be ordered online in advance. Always a winner for somebody's birthday or food days at work. Being so close to NE Medicine they can get pretty busy at lunch. The staff and service have always been pleasant.

This Panera location has consistently provided friendly service with a smile and delicious food! My go to order is the half and half: tomato soup and Mediterranean veggie sandwich. I also get the iced green tea that comes with unlimited refills! The decor is very cute and suits the cafe theme of the restaurant! I highly recommend it to anyone who loves cafe food such as pastries, bagels, sandwiches, and soups!

I used to enjoy going to Panera and before that St. Louis Bread Company (when visiting St. Louis), but the past couple times I have been it just hasn't measured up. My boyfriend and I went in for the "You pick two", both decided on the cup of soup and half a sandwich combination. Neither of us was very pleased. He had to pick his sandwich apart to eat it, the turkey seemed frozen it was a little funky and the avocado slices were so underripe that they were inedible. I was feeling the onset of a cold so I really just wanted some soup. I don't do dairy often so my options are limited. I was hoping they had the veggie pesto soup they sometimes have but they didn't, so I tried the seasonal butternut squash. I make butternut squash soup at home so I figured I would like it. Honestly, it wasn't bad.... but it was a bit too sweet for my liking. We both didn't finish our meals, not because we were full. Disappointing for how much you shell out.

The service and food here is inconsistent. Sometimes you'll stand in line for 15 minutes just waiting to order. Other times it's much faster. I've also noticed that their prices gone up markedly. $4.29 for a small cup of soup is, in my opinion, out of line. I'll continue to go to Panera for coffee, when I have business to do or people to meet. But beyond that, I'm not apt to patronize them.

Let me put it this way: I love their food. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! However, I'm a little peeved at the consistency. I am forever a creature of habit. When I find something I like I stick to it. For Panera, its their broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl for me. Every...single...time. I do get highly aggravated though when the portion sizes for eat-in are different than take-out. Sometimes I don't have time to sit down to eat. However, the amount of soup you get for eat in is drastically different than take out. The entire point of the bread bowl is to eat everything together. I frequently find myself out of soup before the bread is gone when I order take-out. The amount for the eat-in seems to always be perfect though. Little disappointing. I'm also a little upset with their online ordering. I frequently bring breakfast to work for everyone. I typically always order two of their bagel packs and customize the bagels. They have YET to ever have my order ready when I walk in. They always have the same excuse--"No one told me we had an order for take-out". If your website is picky enough to ask me what time I'll be there down to 15 minute increments, don't you think you should have my order ready when I arrive? Instead I wait 20 minutes while I repeat my customized order to them 5 times. It's highly frustrating. I still LOVE their food though. Service and consistency is what killed two of their stars for me.

At this particular location: The cashier/ordering/drink section is awkward and slow (more than once I've witnessed a group of cashiers bitching about something in front of customers). The food prep/table delivery/bussing section is fast and friendly. Especially the man with long braids - he has cheered me up on bad days and every time I see him interact with customers he is so nice. I happen to love their peanut butter and jelly sandwich off the kids menu.

I always forget to write a review on this Panera. It is by far my favorite location... for only one reason. There is a man that works there that is a food runner. He has long black dreads and I have never been treated so kindly by a staff member before. Literally EVERY time we go there he is quick to pick up dirty dishes and sincerly tells you that if you need ANYTHING he will gladly help you. I know that people say this all the time but I think it's just the way that he tells you that is very humbling. Also, He manages to get right up to our table right as we're leaving and takes our trays and stuff to the trash without us asking at all. I think I'm starting to annoy my boyfriend because every time we go there I comment on how great of a job he does. MAKE THIS GUY A MANAGER! He's awesome!!!

This one was easy. I wanted a quick dinner after having 1 1/2 soccer games get cancelled due to thunderstorms, and it was located next to the Ace Hardware I was shopping at. Ding! The food was fast, prepared properly, and tasty. You can't ask for much more from a fast food restaurant. This one has all the usual amenities - WIFI, nice seating, etc. It's a standard, cookie cutter restaurant, but it's properly managed, and the staff is polite and courteous. Panera now has their rewards card. For signing up, you get a free desert or bagel, so I got a Cinnamon Crisp bagel for breakfast the next day with my dinner. Like I said, hard to beat.

If you're looking for a decent, quick, and possibly healthy lunch, this is your place. Panera has several vegetarian options, with my favorite being the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich. It has feta cheese, wheat bread, some sort of yummy spread, onions (if you want them), and a couple of other things I can't think of off the top of my head. To make this a healthy option, get a half sandwich with vegetable soup and an apple. The only detractors at Panera are 1) it's a little pricey (but worth it), and 2) It's just so damned hard to resist some of those fattening options!

A long time ago when I first heard about this place, I thought it was called Pantera Bread, like the 90s metal band. Needless to say, I was severely disappointed that there wasn't a letter T between the N and the E, and that they didn't serve Cowboys From Hell Clam Chowder in a bread bowl or Far Beyond Driven French Onion soup. Despite that rocky beginning and due in large part to the fact that I've spent a good part of my adult life in graduate school, Panera and I are familiar with each other. The free coffee refills and WiFi make me super productive, but I always seem to get less done around lunch time because it can get crowded and noisy and the smell of the elderly creeps in like sour milk fog.

Regardless of being a little on the expensive side for the amount you get, their sandwiches are pretty good. A lot of people probably go the route of 1/2 sandwich + 1/2 soup or 1/2 sandwich + 1/2 salad for under 10 bucks. Although a chain, this is probably the nice alternative to subway.

When two people in line ahead of me carried off frozen lemonades, I got back in line and ordered one. The server said it was not made with fresh lemons, but with concentrate, "a high quality concentrate". For $2.49, it was icey wonderful and tasted like it was made with concentrate. I will order this again on a hot day. UPDATE: Downgrading from three stars to two after a salad that tasted like dishwater and spoiled feta cheese. Another at my table said the French onion soup was terrible. Sloppy and distracted young employees. A few years ago this was a clean and efficiently-run place. What happened Panera? The only thing I will order here now is the frozen lemonade.

The broccoli cheddar soup is always bomb. This panera is in a decent location and the food is great. Soup is always hot as balls (: would recommend at least once. Love the free wifi and love not having a tv. Too anti personal these days....panera gets it

I looked forward to coming to Panera this late morning for the food. That has not changed. I will however be switching my Panera of choice after today's experience. Our experience started with a very undereducated cashier who was convinced that the lemonade was serve yourself and then told my lovely wife that the iced coffee was made for you. (Ok simple mistake) we said to her gently, I think the lemonade gets made for you she said no definitely not (still...simple mistake). She did not give us our bakery item after we paid (I think still simple mistake let's give the poor girl time to figure it out). Then we went to go check out the iced coffee/lemonade situation. The GM was posted at that station and gave us a "you can go wilt and die" look after we inquired about the lemonade and then she proceeded to throw things around and be as aggressive as possible with the coffee station things. Next we walked up the bakery area and requested our brownie the same cashier was unapologetic and basically threw it at my wife. Very sad day Panera. THE 2 STARS ARE FOR THE FOOD.

We had dinner at Panera last night. I am a great big fan of Panera. I always have great service and normally have great, tasty and hot food. There were 3 of us last night. I will say for the first time, I was not a fan of my most favorite soup: CREAM of Chicken and Wild Rice, it was more like chicken noodle with rice, VERY watery. No flavor. So I was not a fan of that, but I didn't speak up either. Hey, it was the first time in like 6 years that I had soup I didn't love there... can't be perfect all the time! Tavarus normally works during the day, he always has a great big smile and makes others feel great. Good job!!!
