Excellent food service and delicious. Prices were beyond reasonable and you can tell this is family ran. Highly recommended as well was missing my favorite Pho from San Jose and Chicago but found a diamond in Omaha.

My husband and I went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. My only regret was that it took us so long to try this place. It is pretty unassuming in that it is attached to a gas station. Don't let the outside fool you, though, as this place offers some amazing Vietnamese food. You order at the counter and then they bring your food out to you when it is ready. We skipped the omelet part (although they did sound pretty good), and I went with the Pho with chicken and my husband ordered the chicken fried rice. Even though we hadn't ordered any beverages, the gentleman behind the counter brought us both waters, which was nice. He then brought out the garnish tray for the Pho. This garnish tray is like a meal in its own right. The dish was huge and it was loaded with options, including sprouts, cilantro, jalapeno, lime, chili sauce, and some leafy herb I didn't recognize. Shortly thereafter our food came out. The Pho is served in a huge bowl. It has a mild flavor on its own but I loved that it was totally customizable with all the garnishment options. I loaded up on a little of everything and the result was an incredibly flavorful dish. I also tried my husband's chicken fried rice (which he dubbed some of the best he had ever had) and it was delicious and packed with flavor. Each dish was around $8 which is very reasonable considering the portion sizes are huge. We will definitely be coming here again, and likely utilizing their take-out offerings as well.

First time here during my relocation process from MN to NE. Yes, I found this place my accident. Though I've read and heard about it from other local Omaha residents. The place is next to a gas station as stated by many. Looks like a burger or subs diners from the outside. Came by on a rainy day and it was humid inside. They kept the front door open for fresh air and a bit of cool breezes. It's bare able... The food here are fresh and quality is good... Price is a bit on the higher end... And that's coming from a person who live in a larger city with more access to diverse selections of foods and restaurants. Service is good... The owner was responsive when talked to. I'll have to come back and try other selection of dishes. My venture to find good Pho and Viet dish has just started in the city of Omaha, NE.

If I could I would give this place 4 and a half stars. I walked into this quaint little spot with my dad after getting gas next door. The place was quiet for lunch hour yet everyone seemed content with their meals. I ordered the steak pho and put in sizable amounts of hoisin sauce and cilantro to bolden the flavored up. I would be proud of anyone who would order this. It tastes nice and hot with a little spice while the noodles melt in your esophagus. I feel bad for the owners since they deserve better. I hope this place gets popular soon!

The place was dirty and not well kept up. Food was ok but if you've got peeling paint in the dining room, how clean is the kitchen? Food was ok but I'll hesitate before going back.

Delicious. It's true that the shop and location make you question what you're doing. The minute you smell it though, you can tell you're in for a treat. We had the Pho. It was the best I've had. I do travel and I really didn't expect this. I just was craving Pho, had just moved back to Omaha, and needed to eat. The prices were great. The food speaks for itself. What an AWESOME surprise! I'm sooooo excited to tell my friends I moved home AND now have a place to go for Pho. Yesss!

Well Hallelujah my Pho quest finally reaches a decent joint! This is stop #4 on the pho trail of Omaha, and it's the first place I have felt more than MEH about. Granted it's a billion miles from my house but I'll take it. Yes, yes it's adjacent to a service station convenience shop and while you eat you may stare at random strangers filling at the pump, but finally, I got a bowl of Pho (and Bun Bo Hue, another tasty yet failed dish in Omaha) that meets my lips and tummy with satisfaction. The ventilation in here is horrible so expect to smell like food when you leave-thats fine with me, I can trade a shower for a steaming hot delicious bowl of pho any day. The establishment is run by what seems like a family, it has American breakfast food (Omlettes) and a fairly good sized Vietnamese menu also (see photos to see the menu, I snapped a few). My combo bowl was packing all the right stuff- proper amount of noodles-cooked correctly (sad that some establishments in Omaha didn't even pass that test), Clear broth (a little oily but not too bad), the right amount of meat (tendon, fatty brisket, tripe, meatballs [with tendon this is the more expensive type]) and all the right garnishes for the pho that I would expect from any place that sells this dish. Thumbs up from me. Decor is a little strange, it seems like they kept whatever was left from what was there before, but I honestly dont really care. Eating pho in swanky style would weird me out anyway. Easy parking and fast service. If you want to eat some authentic Pho or Bun Bo Hue in Omaha, this place will not fail you!!!! The prices are fair too.

Ummm...it is okay. I will say that it wasn't good but it wasn't atrocious either. Their broth was definitely mostly boulon cubes. Their bun bo hue didn't have the flavor that made it special. It wasn't ventilated so you could see smoke throughout the whole restaurant. I'm debating whether I would go back and try another dish.

When you walk into this restaurant, on the left is the cooking and to the right seating (no more than 30). Due to the previous tenants, the cooking area is in the same room as the dining. For the 3 of us, we ordered spring rolls, BBQ Pork chop, Vermicelli Bowl with shrimp and egg rolls, two banh mi sandwiches, two Viet Ice Coffees and a diet coke. A couple others mentioned pricing not being listed but when I tell you what we paid for this, it should be a moot point. All of this with tax was $32.64. The banh mi sandwiches were what drew me out to this venue and they didn't disappoint. Its made fresh and the peppers pack a nice punch, not for the faint hearted. Unfortunately today, they didn't have the beef stew so my dad settled for the pork chop. My wife had the vermicelli with shrimp (not on the menu but glad make it) and came with two egg rolls, icing on the cake since others only offer one. Though the drive is a bit out if the way, its worth the trek when it comes to value and quality. Pho was popular today with the other parties and I will give it a try next time. There are many options such as banh xeo that will continue to keep us coming back. It is a gem that I wish was more centrally located but Millard is lucky to have it.

Recently, I ate lunch at a restaurant connected to a gas station. No, it was not anything with the words 'country' or 'diner' in it. This was Omelet & Viet Cuisine! (Those words alone should spark your interest...) Apparently gas station restaurants are the next big thing in cuisine, but I'm as shocked as anyone that anything this tasty could come from a place with those 'car wash' flags out front (though these say 'pho'). Go figure that Omaha is on the cutting edge of new food frontiers! I'm so intrigued by the breakfast situation that there's no way around it, I'll have to make the drive to have an omelet also. What we did have on this trip, spring rolls, vermicelli and bahn mi were great and fresh (the jalapenos were a surprising kick in the face also). Strange that there were no prices on the menu, but it wasn't out of order with what I'd expect. Something in the range of $20 for 2 people (lunch). Definitely a unique concept for this area of town, as far as I'm aware, so if you're looking for some fresh and tasty food in West-O I'd recommend a trip to this gas station any day!

I saw the write up on this restaurant on omaha world herald .com. So we tried it this morning. Wow! The place smells like a fryer, all the pop was out of order, no ice tea. The food wasn't good. The spinach in my omlet was from a frozen box. Everything is a la carte including the toast. Won't be back anytime soon.

Very casual Vietnamese cuisine. We really liked it. It was right next to gas station so initially we were not sure how good this place might b but we were wrong. Food was good and prices are very decent. One thing I would like add is there is no good ventilation system inside the resturant so your coat will smell like oil for few days !!!

When you arrive at Omelet & Viet Cuisine, I can say you really don't seem to want to expect much. I mean, it's connected to a gas station! So, in my head I'm thinking, gas station food. Well, it's really not gas station food at all! Now, if this place were NOT connected to a gas station, it would be like any other restaurant. Their vietnamese food is really good, regardless of what one of the reviews have said. Even if they did make it in three minutes, which I don't think they did, the pho I had was actually pretty good. The egg rolls also, were very tasty! We also ordered some spring rolls, but since I am allergic to shellfish, I did not try them. They did look very fresh though. The atmosphere does not look like any other vietnamese restaurant in town. In fact, it kinda reminds me of a retro diner or something to that extent. The people who take your order, cook your food, and bring the food to you are very nice and fast! I would eat here again and would recommend it to others. Next time, I may have to go for their omelets :)

Really great food! This is the second best restaurant in a gas station (first is Joe's BBQ in KC) Both omelet and pho are delicious, in fact it's a tough choice between the two...try both! They definitely missed opportunity for the restaurant name, though. Come on! VietnOmelet is so obvious!

Who would have thunk it that one day I'd be writing a review on gas station pho! Yes you read correctly.....you can fill up on pump 11, grab a slurpee, run your car through the automatic carwash, and grab a bowl of pho all without leaving the parking lot! I've lived in Seattle, WA where a pho spot is on every corner. There, eating pho is like a rite of passage, similar to wearing fleece. If you've never eaten pho or worn fleece before moving to Seattle, you will become intimately familiar with both very soon after your arrival. Needless to say, I've had my fair share of mind blowing pho and I would put this Omelet & Viet Cuisine up against any of my favorite pho spots in the PNW. Yes it has been consistently good on every vist. As long as they remain consistent, I will remain a regular!

So you find a Vietnamese restaurant sharing a building with a gas station in West Omaha and the expectations level starts pretty low. You walk in and nothing about the place screams or even whispers Asian food. The workers...they remove all doubt. They don't really speak English too well. If you have questions about the menu...good luck. My son and I ordered. I wasn't expecting much. Maybe the quality of food from a Chinese buffet or so. But is was close to where we live and we had worked up an appetite by running seven miles on some pretty tough trails. The booth we say in was similar to a Pizza Hut Booth from the 1980s. Red and hard. The view out the window was of a car wash drive through and a faux brick retaining wall. I kept thinking this was a bad idea. And I was wrong. I couldn't believe it. The Pho at this place has no peer. I have lived all over the country and travelled much of the rest of it. Even spent some time in Asia. It was delightful. Fresh. Rich, but not filling. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. A better Pho may exist, I just have come across it and don't expect to. The summer rolls and hoisin sauce were equally as perfect. Seriously. I looked like art. I didn't even want to eat it until I started eating it. It was an eclectic blend of vegetables and shrimp. You can taste the freshness in each bite. My son got the vermicelli. Pure grace. I couldn't imagine it any better. They chopped up an egg roll and placed it on top of the noodles, vegetables, and shrimp. Their version of a sweet and sour sauce is so good it should be illegal. I am eaten at many Asian restaurants in Omaha. Well-known ones. Hard-to-find ones. Chinese. Thai. Japanese. Korean. This place is the one all others will be compared to from now on. And you can drive thirty feet and fill-up with gas on the way home.

I've read lot of good reviews on this place so I came to well a place renting out of a gas station... But looks arnt everything! The food here is amazing don't let the fact that this MARVELOUS food is hidden in a spot usually reserved for sandwich shops. Take my word for it this is much better then ANY sandwich shop. The first time me and my dad went here we both got the vermicellis (I got shrimp he got pork BBQ) with summer rolls it was amazing I'm usually not the biggest thing with tons of greens in it I mean I'll eat them just not really a fan but even for people like me this is a MUST TRY I don't know what they do but to them or if it's just the natural flavors perfectly blended but here is a vermicellis meat of your choice egg roles chopped up (amazing egg roles I would need a whole new review to talk about) with noddles perfectly mixed vegetables on the bottom. Add their amazing sauces hot sweet and sour with the vermicellis (homemade different sauces made to compliment the meal your haveing do not poor all the sauce on your mean at once dip) along with our summer roles that were really sweet served with a bland sauce that were perfect with each other. THE RETURN Well with our great experience before we came back to this to this amazing gas station restaurant and got pretty much the same thing but I had the pho I figured this what the place is known for it has great reviews about the pho and pho from what I can see pho looks really good my dad was in love with the stuff me not so much. But everyone likes different things and I can't wait to go back and get yet another great meal. Also the menu dose have prices.

We moved to Omaha from Denver, and as far as my experience is concerned Denver has some of the best Vietnamese food this side of the Pacific Ocean. So I was lamenting the fact that I might not be able to find a suitable replacement for this staple in my diet. I've tried a few other spots in Omaha and have been less than impressed with the offerings, so when I found this place on Yelp I couldn't help be skeptical. Gas station Pho. Really? Really. My wife ordered the pho tail and I tried the bun bo hue. If you like Vietnamese food you will know that these are standards to be judged by if they're on the menu. The pho was wonderful, the broth was outstanding and the flavor had a light and refreshing anise flair that complimented the plateful of condiments that was served with it. I sometimes like the heavier day-old beefier flavored broth but this was on the opposite side of the spectrum and done wonderfully. It reminds me of what ba-noi would make. The bun bo hue was on the same scale, the broth fresh and flavorful with a nice sweet finish. No knuckle or blood cubes but the noodles were correct and the meat had gristle and good texture. Served with garlic chili paste to give it that Emeril kick. The accommodations were adequate, the service wonderfully polite. Whatever, I'm there for the pho. Needless to say I am relieved that this place exists in Omaha. In the near future I will try the bahn mi and if they're as good as the soups I may revise my rating to five.

I moved from Seattle a few weeks ago and was afraid I was going to have to give up on Pho. But then I found this place and it happened to only be a few blocks from my work. Not only is the Pho better then any I had, had a million times in Seattle, their ingredients are also fresher. I have a complicated order, Pho with fried tofu, chicken broth instead of veggie broth, no onions, and add veggies. They got it spot on, and the fried tofu is fried fresh there, not cut from a pre=packaged fried block. Delish, I will 100% be going back until it gets too warm out, then I will be back in the fall!

I visited this place before I looked it up on Yelp and was surprised it was averaging 4 stars, so I feel compelled to take it down a notch - I'm sorry but this place is AWFUL...besides the prices not being listed on the menu, I think they're pretty darn high for gas-station-pho, and the food isn't is not good. The pho stock I'm pretty dern sure is ready-made boullion probably bought from the asian market, and the beef eye round is pre-cooked. The fact that they can whip up anything off the menu within 3 minutes should be a bad sign to begin with. The decor is weird - like a pho place trying to be a short-cook diner, except it plays bad instrumentals of old love songs (I think I heard Greensleeves three times when I was in there last). Alright for a quick fix if you live closeby and don't want to venture too far, but I probably won't be going there again, knowing I can go to the Asian Market and make the same stuff by myself for a lot cheaper.

I was a little skeptical when I first approached it, but I learned my lesson that you should never judge a book by its cover. Having tried a variety if different foods offered I was satisfied with all of them. Being Vietnamese myself I felt the foods were authentic to the cuisine I grew up with & it was reasonably priced (Pho bowl was $7.75). Definitely will be coming back again!

Love this place for Vietnamese food. Probably my favorite place for pho in Omaha. Good portions and flavorful. One thing i don't like though is the lack of prices on the menu. Seriously? No prices? Not sure if it was a mistake but i don`t like that they can change pricing at any given moment. In fact I think even the pho is up a $1 over the last month. ****4/30 UPDATE. Still great Pho' but now at least they have updated their menus to reflect pricing AND you can now get spring rolls everyday not just on the weekends. The fried egg rolls are good too but I really like the spring rolls.

0 stars for this place. I tried the chicken pho. First thing I noticed was that neither on the 2 guys making the food wore rubber gloves and would grab from the raw meat and veggie buckets with the same hands...CROSS CONTAMINATION.... raw food and meat were exposed (not covered) in very warm room temperature...FLIES...my chicken pho didn't actually contain chicken meat...but did have A LOT OF CHICKEN SKIN and BONES. GROSS. Way over priced and very dirty. Pretty sure F&HD Would shut this place down on the first visit.
