Started going here when I lived 5 houses down(15 years ago). When I would wait for the school bus id always go and get a few donuts for the ride to school. It was good seeing Ms.Olsen! The best donuts in town.

Go there. Get donuts. Be happy. The donuts here a ridiculously good. To be honest, my favorite donut shop is Tato Nuts in Gulf Springs Mississippi but since we were visiting Omaha and not the 'Sip I Yelped this place and decided to try it out. It's small but the doughnuts have BIG taste. And they are cheap. I almost wanted to give them an extra few bucks - totally worth it. Sure you'll have to spend a few extra hours in the gym but those hours are well worth it if you're working off a few of these bad boys! Go!

Just about the best place to buy donuts. It's a good old fashioned family run hole-in-the-wall bakery that spits out great donuts. The selection seems better than a couple other places in omaha (petit's, donut professor) and they're cheap: 6 donuts and a juice was $6. Can't beat that. Try the cherry cake donut with chocolate frosting.

Sweet little spot just south of the Old Market, perfect for the morning sweet tooth. The service isn't exactly perky, but for those of us who don't need that, it's just fine. The coffee isn't always on, especially later on in the morning, and it's nothing special; but again, good if you need it. Somehow these donuts and rolls (they make bread, too, I think) just taste better than most places, but I'm not sure how Olsen's pulls it off. Swedish magic, I guess.

Love this little bakery on 10th street. The older ladies that run it are so sweet. The donuts are fresh, so many varieties too! I got 2 dozen assorted donuts for $17, which less than many chain stores and far better quality. They were a big hit at work.

I've been here twice now and see no reason to visit another bakery ever again. Both times the ladies behind the counter have been kind and welcoming and the donuts fresh and delicious. The variety that they have is almost crazy and I can't pick a favorite. Lemon, raspberry, cherry, chocolate cherry (only on Saturday I discovered last Sunday), glazed croissants, fritters... Far better than any of the donut chains and less expensive than some other local bakeries too!

The have a great selection of rolls and doughnuts. The staff has always been pretty friendly and helpful. Saturdays they make these glazed croissants that are very delicious! Usually get a few dozen to take into work on a weekend. 2 Dozen just $17. ($8/Dzn). Great deals, great taste, you can't go wrong... just check them out. They also do have a mini iPad next to their dinosaur cash register and can accept credit cards; however they do add a .50¢ charge to cover the merchant processing.

Yum yum yum. I don't often indulge in donuts, but when I do, it better be worth it. And obviously I don't mean financially because donuts are generally damn cheap. When I indulge in a few extra hundred calories purely from sugar, I want it to taste amazing. I want it to melt on my tongue, with sweet sucrose satisfaction and no guilty feelings afterwards because it tasted so good it was totally WORTH IT. And this was exactly the kind of good times feeling I had after pounding down 2 donuts (chocolate devils food glazed and white frosted cake, respectively) this morning in the meeting in which I was the bringer of morning cakes and supplier of sweets. Oh glorious day! $8/doz well spent!

Some of the best donuts in the city. I almost choked when four donuts and a coffee totaled a little more than $3.00. I couldn't believe how cheap they were. The apple fritter was wonderfully cinnamony. I would have been ok with a few more apple bits in there but the donut itself was so soft and flavorful.

This is what a bakery should be......nothing can compare to the taste.....the donuts are like lays potato chips.....you just can't have just one....the jelly rolls are my favorite.....once you go here you will never go back to the imitation donut places like krispy kream, dunkin, winchels or any grocery store......it's what morning is meant to be.....coffee and donuts from here.......it's a step back to way life was good and quality was put in every roll they make.

Wonderful store! The chocolate long john was amazing, filled with delicious cream! The other one we got was strawberry cream cheese pastry and it was perfectly flaky and good. The lady who worked there was so nice and welcoming. I love this place!

Nothing new to report in this review except to say YUMYUMYUM. I am not a donut fiend, but these donuts were FRESH and delicious (so much for saving one for breakfast the next day). Loved the cherry cake donut with chocolate frosting and chocolate donut. I think I tried a danish or kolache as well, but the donut was the focus of the deliciousness. Conveniently located near the zoo, which just gives you one more excuse to visit.
