Had an amazing lunch experience here! We went during off lunch hours, 2-3ish and the new hostess apologized for the couple minute wait as she was training, which was fine. Very polite and professional. After being seated, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who gave us plenty of time to order without being pushy. Soups and salads were delicious, breadsticks weren't my cup of tea(too chewy) but everyone else enjoyed them. The food was even better than I remembered from my previous Olive Garden experience long ago. Pasta cooked properly, chicken cooked so it was still juicy and not dried out, the meatball sub needs more bread support to eat it like a sandwich but very good just a bit messy. Fries and mashed potatoes sides were seasoned to compliment the dish. Very good. Desserts, chocolate mousse and raspberry cheesecake were the best part! Table was cleared so we didn't sit with dirty dishes for too long. I can't wait to come back and try something new!

The pumpkin cheesecake was grainy and thin. Not good. But the manager got us a different dessert. Everything else was good, just like 20 years ago when my family and I came to this location.

In general, I've found Oliver Garden food quality to be excellent wherever I go across the US. Thus, what really makes or breaks the perfect experience is often the waiter. I came here to say: Morgan Tress is a fantastic waiter. All expectations met, and fast on the drink refills (big + in my book). Other Notes: - Fast to seat, even though it was dinner time. - Large Olive Garden, parking was packed yet still seated instantly! - Good seats / quiet where we were.

I was very impressed with their service. This restaurant is GREAT! Their Spicy Calabrian Wings are the best. They are so good, I have to wait until I visit Omaha to have the Spicy Calabrian Wings. Because on the West Coast, the Spicy Calabrian Wings are the WORST!!!

Considering it's olive garden it's not bad but it's hit and miss. I've been coming to this OG off and on for 3 years, and It's my least favorite one. It was great for awhile and then we started to have issues with pasta not being cooked through and the soup would come out cold. We complained to the manager at the time (maybe a year ago?) who told us we were "too picky" and we stopped coming. The location in council bluffs is much better. However we were hungry and my husband really wanted their pasta bowl, being car-less as we are I decided to give it another go. I was pleasantly surprised at the way the staff treated us. The same manager is there but he didn't harass us this time. The hostess was very friendly and we had to wait about 5 minutes on a table, not bad for Sunday afternoon. Our server was nice, honestly I didn't catch his name though. I had to send my water back because it tasted funny but he returned with a fresh one and no issues. We also had an issue with my salad but he fixed it quickly. He also genuinely seemed to care about me as I was very nauseated today so he kept making sure I was okay (not from the food, I got a little overheated). My SO ordered the pasta bowl and I ordered the unlimited soup salad bread sticks. The food came out fast and was good but my only complaint is it seemed WAY too salty, compared to how salty it normally is. The bathrooms were very clean and well stocked and eating area was spotless. Would I come back? Maybe. It's a great value if you get the pasta bowl or the soup salad deal, beyond that I think they're a tad bit expensive for the quality. However their tiramisu is awesome and really made me feel better.

My dear friend Jackie and I had a lovely dinner. I had the grilled chicken salad & my friend had the pasta dinner, both were good . The house wine , that was offered tonight both very good. Long time friends, hadn't connected for a few months & catching up on things and the only thing that was annoying, was the waitress interrupting our conversation every 6 minutes, to know let us know the food is coming, how is the food, does it taste good, do you need anything else, more wine? I'll check back, I'll let you talk and let you eat. I'm sorry I didn't video tape the whole thing. Otherwise Food good& service good

One of the safest choices in restaurants no matter what city you live in. I've sampled many of the things here and for an appetizer, get the stuffed mushrooms. For an entree, the Stuffed Chicken Marsala is awesome but any of the Chicken dishes are really good. Expect to pay about $20-$25 per person without drinks or desert. Unfortunaly one issue tonight. Our waitress Kira L. was very friendly but one of the other waiters slammed his tray table against our table while rushing through the restaurant but just kept walking away without even an excuse me. Common courtesy would dictate at least acknowledgement of the accident, but apparently he was too busy to even care and that is just plain rude!

Cleanliness 4 Service 3 Food 2 Likelihood 3 1-5 (5 Best!) 3.0 I have not asked, and I know that there has been a major change in management at this location in the last year. Service, food and standards are simply not the same. We have ALWAYS have had to wait for a table at least 15-20 minute, and that simply isn't the case. Our waiter was on it, greeted us promptly and had a light-hearted upbeat demeanor. Our appetizer arrived (Artichoke Spinach Dip) and we dug in. We realize that several of the pieces of bread had mold on them. We stopped eating it and sent it back. The server offered to bring out different bread... we kinda lost our interest in it. Our meals arrived. I believe I can speak for all 4 of us, none of the meals were "pipping hot", in fact one was a bit room temp. Refills were kept full and the waiter removed all dirty plates at once. Good job. I was disappointed that at no time did a manager stop by to apologize or check in with us. They did remove the cost of the appetizer. I hope that their standards of service and food are achieved again, we used to eat there at least twice a month. Now it is 2-3 times a year.

The restaurant is large so you're always seated right away. Hostesses were nice. The fact that everything comes with salad comes with soup or salad is good. I would share and entree due to the fact they are rather large. Dairy messes up my stomach but I don't even care the feddicchini (sp?) is worth all the stomach ache. The breadsticks lately haven't been well made so that's kinda sad cause it's a key aspect the the restaurant... Waitress was nice even tho she was new to town she still socialized with us enough to deserve a good tip. Also I don't always want to go eat at the restaurant so the Togo is excellent!!!!!

My wife and I along with two friends ate there last night. The service was horrible, wine was served to only two of us it wasnt till after the salads and soups were served the remaining two wines were poured. Glasses and plates weren't removed when needed, but the check was presented on time. I had to after some time go speak with the manager to ask where the our server was. The manager was less than helpful with the issues we were having. All four of us were unhappy with the lousy service. We had no complaints concerning the food it was good but we don't intend to return anytime soon.

First time at this location because of the no wait on a Friday night. Was not disappointed at all from the food being excellent and service as well.

I don't care if it's not "real Italian" food, it's amazing food! I'm not so into the breadsticks, but the risotto is amazing & their sauces are delicious, I would say you're probably safe ordering anything here, it's all good~

Great service, always friendly. Great food. Just had the Five Cheese Ziti tonight and it was definitely my favorite. I've never had a bad experience at an Olive Garden.

I used to come here all the time. My fiancé us out of town and I am in charge of packing the house for our big move out of state. I came in last night around 5 and sat at the bar. Mandy R was working. It took her 5 minutes to say hi. I told her I wanted a glass of wine then I will order my food to go in 15 min. Because I was on the phone with my mother discussing my sick grandfather, the bar staff ignored me. I waited 30 min for my second glass of wine and ordered food fettuccine Alfredo to go. Jordan brings out Alfredo sauce and breadsticks. Not what I ordered. I am upset at how I was treated. Apparently the " we're family" motto should be replaced with a hooters mentality. I'm not there to talk to u bartender. I can talk on my phone when I'm alone. Maybe find a new job or realize people come there to eat and talk amongst each other. Your snickering and making fun of patrons to coworkers does not go unnoticed.

It's Olive Garden...need I say more? The service was ok but not fantastic. You can probably make something with a lot more flavor from a can at home in 15 minutes by boiling some pasta, getting some sauce out of a can, adding some spices and grilling up some chicken really quickly...and be done in less time than it would take you to drive there. I prefer the local places to the chain restaurants.

K, it's Olive Garden and we love it! This is just like other Olive Gardens, just wonderful. I especially love the bread and salad. This Olive Garden is particularly good at feeding large groups. I have eaten there several times with groups bigger than thirty and they've always been great.

Brought my sister here for her birthday and it was a very nice place. Unlimited salad and bread sticks and those two are so delish and can fill you up before you even order your food. I ordered the spaghetti alfredo and couldnt even finish it. It was so yummy!

Thought we would give this Olive Garden a chance. Food was extremely salty and buttered. Didn't finish the spaghetti with meat sauce or braised short ribs. Only thing decent was the salad with dressing on the side.

June 2011 - Went out to eat for Father's Day. Food was good and prices were fair. The waitress was friendly and great with dealing with my family of 5. Will go back next time we're in the area. Clean and quick service!

Went there on Sunday afternoon and we were actually seated right away. The food was good, but the service was probably the slowest we had ever had at Olive Garden.

While I normally enjoy eating here, I think they may need to work on their training. Tonight I ordered the Seafood Brodetto with Zuppa. My S.O. ordered the Parmesan Steak special with salad. We were not given any breadsticks while two tables next to us with the same waiter and seated around the same time, received some. My SO was given his salad while I sat with nothing until the apps arrived. Has to ask for a refill on the flavored iced tea three times, of which one time receiving water, another receiving regular iced tea. Our table also had the two extra wine glasses and silverware. Since the table was never cleaned of the used dishes that came with each portion, we ended up with the large salad bowl, two saucer plates, a large appetizer plate, 6 wine glasses of which 4 were the original ones on the table unused, etc. At this point, I asked about the whereabouts of the Zuppa. I was told by my waiter that they had to make a fresh batch. A couple minutes later I see a bowl of Zuppa delivered to a nearby table. I then again asked my Zuppa. He said they were still cooking it. Now I felt lied to. I am more happy if a waiter tells me he/she forgot, then lie to me about it entirely. By the time our meals were delivered, I still had not received my Zuppa, of which, two other Zuppas were delivered to surrounding tables. Typically I wouldn't make such a big deal about something like this, but I primarily choose Olive Garden when I'm in the mood for their Zuppa. About half-way through my meal, I FINALLY received my Zuppa and we FINALLY got breadsticks....and my water had been empty since the waiter was last at our table. I finally get up and ask the manager about the issues. He stated that the waiter had only been their two weeks. Well that is fine, but if that's the case, then someone should be shadowing him occasionally to make sure he has everything. With everything that happened this night, I couldn't believe that they had even trained him considering he missed several "scripts" that the waiters at Olive Garden all go through at each table.

Food was very tasty, I had the shrimp and chicken carbonara. YUMMY. Shared the lemon cake, but after one bite, I wished I'd ordered my own; can't wait to go back. Waiter was awesome too.

This place was perfect for the situation. I'd spent most of the day driving from Chicago to Omaha. I was hungry. I used the Yelp app on my Android and hot dog! There was an Olive Garden nearby. I know that they're doing their never-ending pasta bowl deal now, and I needed carbs. My waitress was very nice. She offered me a taste of a pinot grigio. It was good, but I declined having a glass. I told her I'd been driving all day and was tired and hungry. My goal was to carb load, wash it down with iced tea and make my way back to my hotel to sleep. I ordered the angel hair with the mushroom and sun-dried tomato sauce. I topped that off with Italian sausage. She let me know I could mix it up a bit more if I wanted. But that's not my style. I know what I like and what I don't like are two or three different sauces in my pasta dish. It works for some but not for me. I had seconds to go just in case my hotel's breakfast options sucked (and they did.) I'm glad Yelp led me to this spot. The staff was nice from the time I came in to the time I left. Everyone greeted me and was friendly. During my meal a manager came over and asked if everything was okay. He did that with everyone in my section and, for me, that was a nice touch. Olive Gardens are never going to be my first choice as they're more family spots than not now, but it was a nice way to relax and dine in a chain where I knew exactly what I was getting.

this is a nice olive garden however the waitress was given too many tables at once so service was slow waited 10 minutes b4 anyone said hi or anything. food was good however as i tagged along with my granddaughter behind my daughter who at 23 is a staff sergeant in the USAF and grandson I was horrified to overhear the hostesses 3 to be exact talking crap about my daughter JEEEESH watch ur back if u go here!!!

Decent food (I got the pomodoro pasta with grilled chicken on the "Lighter Sides" menu) but service was beyond abysmal. It took well over 20 min to get just the salads, which a different waitress than our server shoved at us saying that she "just didn't know what was going on". My requests for balsamic dressing were rebuffed by 3 different people. We weren't even offered a dessert menu or a free dessert since one of our party's birthday was that day. I've never felt so ignored :(

Sometimes you can't pick where you eat. Take out here was bland. The 3 dinners waited 10 minutes with me while bread sticks were prepared. I was given a free beverage but I'd rather not have my salmon sitting and waiting. It was dry when I got home to eat it. After tasting the bread sticks I should have skipped them. Nothing special. The service was nice and friendly.

This a great place to carbo load here. The service here is excellent and the food delivery is speedy. There is always a wait here though especially during dinner time. They offer free samples of their featured wines during the weekdays!! Free alcohol is always a plus!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
