Simply the best gizzards in town in my opinion. The curds disappointed (but just were my style) but the gizzards rocked both times I have been and the remaining menu items looked wonderful too. Lighthouse has nightly food specials that appear to bar and grill crowd as well as those seeking their classic favorites. I did chuckle when told this was a dive bar - it isn't but if the moniker is good, I will play along.

Good neighborhood bar. Bar is underwhelming but the food and drink specials are great!

Yikes! This lighthouse will only lead you to bad service and a crappy, expensive drink (a Blue Moon and cocktail was $11.75!).

I'm not here to tell you this isn't a hole in the wall dive bar. It is. The surprising fact to be gleaned; ** amazing wings** -and by that I mean, some of the best, most flavorful, succulent chicken wings I have ever had. -awesome sauce options (mild is pretty spicy so I wouldn't explore the "spicy" unless your into that) -quality meat that brings as much to the table as the sauce. -charred option where the wings are thrown on the grill after being fried (best invention) Long Island ice tea was sweet and crowd was mediocre but great dart setup and plenty of Large TVs to watch football on.

Yes, it is the proverbial "hole in the wall" and I am always there to late to get food. But the drink prices are great and the bartenders know their stuff. Every time I walk in I feel cozy, or maybe that's the alcohol talking. See you Friday nights!

This place is sticky. That's the best word I can think to describe it. It might be the stickiest bar I've ever been in. The beer selection is terrible, the service is abysmal, the only reason I gave it 3 stars is my heart loves karaoke. They have it every Saturday night (that I know of), and it's the only saving grace. I mean, it's a strip mall bar next to a daycare and it's brimming with douchebags most of the time. But karaoke! And it's fairly close to where I live.

My friend and I went there to watch the Nebraska bowl game. We waited 15 minutes to get a beer, and had to wait until half time to even order. Only two working for the bowl game? Seemed as though they were a little under-prepared. We ordered nachos and fries. The fries were wonderful, the nacho's however, were extremely soggy and just horrible. It's not the worst experience, but it definitely puts a damper on my view of this place.

Been here on a few occasions with a buddy of mine who hangs out here very frequently. I gotta say that the happy hour prices are very good and the food is very good. Great burgers and great wings. Burgers taste practically homemade on my grill. This is a dive bar so perhaps cleanliness and friendliness are not their top priorities. But thought it could be a lot cleaner, such as the floors, chairs, bar tops, etc...I noticed that bev naps or napkins are not freely available and that you have to ask for them...that seems odd to me. The owner never said anything to us and apparently he does not say much to my buddy who goes there a lot. Not to say its right or wrong but it looks like the owner and staff spends much of their time conversing with just a couple of regulars and don't give the same attention to other guests around the bar. Despite any negatives, this dive bar is probably one of the better dive bars that I have ever been to and would recommend their happy hour to almost anyone.

This is probably my favorite dive bar in Omaha and not just because it's practically in my neighborhood and I can walk home if need be.. Great place to people watch, huge rectangular bar that is completely open on all sides, many tvs. On Saturday nights they have Karaoke which is always entertaining, and the service is great--awesome bartenders. Only downfall is that mixed drinks and shots can get pricey..

It's in my neighborhood and has more beer than my fridge!!!! Score!!! The owner is crazy but talkative. The happy hour prices are unbeatable. The regulars are a bit annoying, but tolerable. Fyi, check out golden tee leaderboards: Awesomeness!! is amazing!

What's not to like about $5 wings and $3 35 oz beers! They also have a really great steak sandwich that's on special on Wednesday's. The place itself is a dive but the food and drinks make up for that. The service isn't always great though as the waitresses/bartenders seem to be more occupied with their cell phones than waiting on customers at times, maybe that's why they serve 35oz beers rather than a typical pint;)

I love the great prices on the enormously large beers at this bar. $3 for 35 oz, and $3 for a long island iced tea?!? Can't beat those prices right now at any other bar I've been to.

We were taking a road trip through Nebraska and had originally not planned to visit this bar. But the tagline on its web site, "Omaha's Only Five Star Dive Bar!", intrigued us so we decided to check it out. This is a very hard bar to find and get to. We'd never have spotted it had we not known exactly where to look. From eastbound Maple it required two very congested left turns, then a parking lot maze that took us around the back of a strip mall in order to get us around to the far side where the bar's entrance was. It was still a little early on this Saturday, so we were the only customers. The bartender took a break from his cleaning duties to sit and chat with us, and we watched part of the movie "Cocktail". The bar is a square in the middle of the room. There's a few video games and several TVs. I don't remember if there's a pool table. All in all, it's a pretty typical suburban bar, but it's not bad. I'd call it more of a sports bar than a dive bar, though.

Happy hour wings is the best deal in town. $5 for 10 jumbo wings. Not to mention that they have $3 35 oz mugs of beer.
