Still great food but portions have changed dramatically. I thought maybe the small trace of chicken salad on my sandwich was just a fluke but it wasn't. Same portion the next time and every time after that. Quit going there as did some others in the neighborhood. Gave them another shot about 8 -12 months later. There was a puny little chicken salad "spread" the size of a silver dollar in the middle of the bread. I'm not sure how you fatten your bottom line if your driving away your loyal customers.

I usually grab a croissant at their Farmer's Market stall before I start my shopping, but today I went into the store. I picked up macaroons, croissants, chocolate croissants, and a blueberry pastry. They were ALL a big hit! Next time I'm going to cook something awesome, I'll pick up some bread to try. Highly recommend!

Just tried a scone - cranberry with a hint of lemon, tender and not too sweet. These scones are authentic. Tastes just like the one I purchased at a bakery in a small town in Scotland and those served at tea time in Edinburgh. Now I'm going to brew a scalding cup of tea.

Stopped in on a weekday midmorning for brunch. The place was nearly empty at this time. I ordered a quiche and a latte and was satisfied with both. The quiche was wonderfully seasoned and the crust was fresh and delicious. The baguette served with the quiche was also delicious. I get the impression that breads are their real strength and was intrigued with some of the other loaves they have available. Here is what I am really struggling with, this place was not clean. We sat at a table near the window and there were multiple bugs on the sill. Furthermore, when we walked in the place was empty yet there was some scrambled egg on the table we selected. The bathroom sink had spots on it that were not watermarks but more like a yellow brown color and a discarded toothpick on the floor. While the food was good, when I have these concerns about cleanliness I just don't know the conditions that my food is being prepared in. For these reasons, it is unlikely I will return.

I had a a delicious veggie sandwich here, basically a bahn mi. It used to be on the menu but is not anymore. Thankfully they still make it, because every once in a while I crave a veggie sandwich. : ) I also tried the vanilla cupcakes, which were delicious, and the cookie dough cupcakes, which were just about the best cupcake I have ever had.

I love the ciabatta bread. They are also located at the farmer's market, which we always buy from when we walk by. Totally worth a try!

A few VEGAN treats at our fingertips! What a fun little bakery to pick up a few vegan treats at! Their baguette (white and whole wheat) and sour dough (white and whole wheat) are animal product free, so I tried a baguette. Wonderful crust and interior texture. Nice size at a reasonable price. The taste was slightly off, like a hard water taste. I'll try them again because the bread is so irresistible. The shop was well stocked, everything looked fresh and clean. The staff were cheerful and welcoming. I picked up a menu and it looks like one of their sandwiches, the Caramelized Cauliflower sandwich could be made vegan by omitting the mayo and honey mustard and their summer soup, Gazpacho, is even labeled as vegan. Their side of couscous is probably vegan, too. I'll be sure to try their wonderful looking sourdough next time!

As if it weren't enough that Le Quartier makes my favorite bread items in Omaha, they might also make my favorite breakfast sandwich. This is saying something for me because I'm a sandwich fiend in general. If only I could convince them to do a breakfast grilled cheese we'd really be in business... hmm... But really, good bread is what really makes a sandwich top notch. And there's no shortage of bakery magic here. From rolls to pastries, loaves and even the fabled cronut, LQ can meet your needs. The only misstep in my humble opinion is the pizza flats. The times I've tried, they just don't crisp up in a way I'd prefer. Still, only the most minor of qualm. Love to LQ! Keep up the delicious work.

I have to add in my recent experiences with their breakfast sandwiches. Well, these things are fantastic -- and I'm a huge fan of breakfast sammies in general. You can pick either veggie, bacon, ham or sausage to pair with egg, cheese and two hearty slices of Le Quartier bread, pressed in wax paper and served up hot. So far, I've tried two varieties, the bacon (two thick slices) and the house made sausage, which was subtly spicy and pretty much amazingly scrumptious. All for only about $5. In my opinion, it's infinitely better than what you'll find at XYZ fast food joint (including gas stations) and only slightly more expensive.

A hidden neighborhood gem in Dundee that isn't so hidden now that it had been featured in the OWH. I have gotten the bread, croissants, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee. All are great. They also set up a table at the farmers market (Old Market on Saturday and Aksarben on Sunday), where they have free samples. I'm embarrassed to say that a loaf of bread purchased in the morning is devoured before midnight - it's just that good.

Le Quartier is always worth a trip. Their breads are the best in Omaha. We've had the sourdoughs, cheddar, jalapeno jack, and olive loaves. They're all excellently done with the crusty, chewy exterior and the soft, airy center. Good bread makes for wonderful sandwiches. Today, I tried their macarons. They are perfect! Just the right amount of sweetness when you're wanting dessert.

Where do you go to celebrate a job offer? I go searching for European pastries! So I come across this place on YELP and decide to give it a try. I got two pecan rolls, to croissants, two almond croissants, two chocolate mini cakes (forgot the french term for them), and two coconut/chocolate macaroons aka haystacks. Each item was delicious! Heat up the chocolate cupcake thing for thirty seconds and you have an amazing experience in your mouth. Sweet, crunchy, soft, and perfectly melted in all the right places. I will definitely come back to try their chocolate filled croissants and their fresh bread. Did I mention they have pretzel buns?!??! Try this place out if your in the mood for a delicious pick me up or, like me, want to indulge in a little piece of heaven for such a great day.

Delicious pastries and breads. Our son begs us to bring home baguettes. I prefer the croissants, danishes and quiche. The facility is small and quaint and I have always found a seat. The staff is less than cheery but will take your order. The coffee seems to always be empty and I'm not sure how that is possible at such a slow paced small place.

I didn't actually go to either of the bakeries but we had cupcakes served at a wedding this past weekend. I've tried a LOT of cupcakes and these rank among the best I've ever had. I tried the lemon with lemon curd in the middle and a decadent buttercream. The hubs tried the carrot cake and it was among the best carrot cake I've had. Sweet but not too sweet. Moist but not oily. Outstanding!

I don't believe I've had better French bread outside of France! I will be trying other menu items soon.

I went in on a Monday since the Great Harvest up the street was closed. We got 4 huge homemade cinnamon rolls that were gooey and delicious. We also took home the yummy beef pot pies for dinner. I was so happy to find the chocolate-filled croissants, just like the old Bread Oven used to have. Parking is a pain in the tiny lot, but usually available. We are happy to welcome Le Quartier to Dundee. And we will definitely be back!

This bakery is wonderful. They've done an excellent job. I feel like I am in a local bakery somewhere in Europe when I eat in there. Everything I've tried, from the soups to the sandwiches to the sweets, has been delicious! And everyone that works there is very friendly.

OMG had a cronught (?) so delicious! A cute shop with a great variety of bakery items! A great local bakery. It was great seeing other patrons come in that morning for their bread for the day and how excited they were. I look forward to many more breakfasts and pastries!

I am most familiar with Le Quartier from it's Old Market farmer's market location in the summer and fall seasons. Chocolate croissant heaven. I've popped in here a few times for a sweet treat-maroons, lemon bar, or chocolate croissant are my favorites. I love their cronut-I've only tried the cinnamon one. I've also done the french baguette to-go for meals I aim to prepare at home. Nothing here has been disappointing. They have quite a set up at the farmer's market so if their flagship in Dundee is out of your way, then try the farmers market May-Oct. I can't wait for them to re-open there next month!!!!
