Love love love, this is the perfect example of what a pastry should be! An extremely flakey crust with a rich butter (but never soggy) texture. I always get the croissants。 but if your looking or something unique, on the weekends they have artisan style breads. Each weekend they're always different. Also considering how laborus the process is to hand make all their homemade breads and pastries I feel they are reasonably priced.

Favolosa! I'm very picky about croissant, macaron and eclair as I was born and raised in one of the biggest cities Tokyo in the world where people always have fresh bakery. By fresh, I mean the pastry chefs bake all pastries in the middle of the night and open the store after 5 or 6am to always sell the pastries fresh and warm. Real Croissants you have in Italy, France or Spain are very soft and you can tell what fresh pastries really are. And I had them in those countries as well as in my home country Japan. Le Petit is the place I have found in Omaha, Nebraska by far the best bakery where you can have fresh pastries. Their croissant, macaron and eclair are very good. I believe a lot of people who have high standards agree with this so everybody will enjoy their entertainments (pastries) for sure. I'm very thankful for knowing this place in Omaha :)

I was so excited when I heard about this place, especially because of its location. West Omaha tends to get more kitschy chains rather than mom and pop or authentic type places. Unfortunately I was somewhat disappointed. I went in for a pastry on my way to work and asked for the almond croissant (my favorite viennoiserie) and was disappointed in the product. It was a bit too flaky and and the ends were far too brittle (even for a croissant). They scrimped on the almond paste, only about two or three bites worth. I was eating it in my car and feared for my steering wheel, anticipating the telltale greasy film great croissants leave on your fingers. Alas, no greasy steering wheel...which is good news for the car but bad news for me. They also require you to pay with cash if you're spending less than $8, which is pretty much a given at a bakery. My almond croissant was $2.75. Overall I wasn't wowed, but I may go back...they have a cute shop and I did see several other sweets that looked enticing.

This place is near where my brother lives so I tried it out today. Bad mistake. I couldn't figure out which one to try first, everything looked great from quiche and tarts to baguettes to Crème brûlée treats and eclairs. But I hear on Saturday mornings the south wall is filled with freshly made breads. Looks like they have their own brand of Coffees to sell and they make a few sandwiches. I decided to start a baseline sample with a simple croissant. It was buttery delicious and fell apart just right. It was a treat in and of itself, I can't wait to try some of their Artisan Breads

Just FYI never been to the actually bakery however I regularly purchase baked good from them at the Sunday farmers market in aksarben village. The pain Au chocolate is amazing, although I wish it would have more chocolate =p The baguettes are amazing as well, especially with bruschetta on-top! Yum-mo. Also, compared to most places (even other vendors at the market) they are the cheapest, and although they own't tell me EXACTLY the guy at the market (I assume the owner because he has a very french accent) told me they don't use corn syrup or any strange ingredients.

I was on my way to Bakers to pick up some things to grill for lunch. I had my daughter with me & she was hungry...reminding me of this every 5 seconds. I had some time to spare for spontaneity & I had this inkling to take her somewhere special & different for breakfast... Cuz she's my baby & I like to show her things, take her places ^_^ . I knew there was a Le Peep restaurant in the plaza I was in so I parked on that end. I've heard good things about Le Peep but didn't really wanna sit down, pay a tip...all that. We headed that way anyway to see if there was a line and to view the menu. My eye surveyed the rest of the strip mall. A few doors down was an open door with "bakery" on the sign. It was perfect & my experience was too. I went in, said I've never been there before. A nice lady showed me around, explained what some things were. It was a beautiful little bakery & I told the lady this as well. It was as French as I have ever seen anything labeled "French". There were a variety of baguettes & other kinds of breads I've never seen before. There were croissants & mousse, creme breule...I ended up purchasing a nutella & peanut butter stuffed bread for my daughter and a beautiful little fruit tart for myself. They both were delicious items. The bread was light and sweet but not airy, if that makes sense? It was very good. My tart was fresh, tasty & just the right size. Lovely. Outside the door there were little tables to sit down & enjoy our nibbles. It was perfect weather to sit outside & enjoy breakfast with the perfect breakfast date.

This bakery has the BEST croissants in Omaha! Their buttery, flaky croissants come in four varieties---plain, almond, apricot, and chocolate. Since I reside in Bellevue, I'm happy that they have a stand at the Farmers Market in Aksarben (on Sundays). So far I've gone to the farmer's market every week since it started this summer just to get their croissants...it's that good!

Where can I start with how amazing this place is? We just moved out West and live down the street from the bakery. We decided to stop by to check it out one afternoon. Definitely the best decision ever! There is always a huge selection of pastries to choose from and the prices are reasonable. Everything we've tried has been delicious! Cinnamon roulade, nutella brioche, peanut butter and Nutella brioche, pain au chocolate, and many more. This place is just incredible. We've paid several visits since and will be going here more. If you haven't already, give this place a visit. You will not regret it.

After another couple trips here, I still believe this is one of the best bakeries in Omaha. The baguette's are top notch, perfect crispy exterior and a airy interior and best eaten the day it is bought. My other favorite bread is the pain de mie. Picture the fluffiest, most flavorful white bread that is perfect for toast or sandwiches. The worst thing about it is the loaf is on the smaller side. The croissant's are great, flaky perfection and with the pain au chocolat and cinnamon roulade being the best of the bunch. One weekend we did try the big sweet kouglof for a group of friends, the sour cream and rum raisins on the brioche were good but not great. The macarons should be coming out soon and so should the lunch time sandwich offerings.

Delicious. I've been looking everywhere for a pain au chocolat that could match up to the patisseries in Paris and this is definitely the closest! It is super flaky an airy, the chocolate inside is the perfect consistency, and the glaze on top was a new and yummy touch. Everything in the case looked delicious and my fiancé got one of the Nutella filled brioches which was also amazing. Definitely try this place out!

Had the opera cake. Very extravagant. Great taste. But for the price I wouldn't make it a regular stop. More a a special treat place.

Call beforehand. Good croissants, but been here probably 3 times by 9 am where they had not a single plain croissant left. They should probably put a number limit on big bulk orders who randomly come in, or plan better.

This place is a hidden gem in West O! The atmosphere and quality of the pastries is bar none--on par with authentic French bakeries you would find in boutique neighborhoods of larger cities. If you are out west you simply must try the treats (and experience the wonderful aromas) that this charming little bakery has to offer. It's easy to find--in the Pepperwood shopping strip (that includes the Baker's grocery store) right off 156th and Dodge. Close to my work and home, this is sure to become a regular indulgence for me. My first trip was on Valentine's Day. I picked up a variety of pastries and sweets (how could I resist?!)--to share with some coworkers and my boyfriend later--and everything was AMAZING. The chocolate eclairs were by far my boyfriend and I's favorite--but the tartlets, opera cake and pain de chocolat were nothing to scoff at. Next time I really want to try the almond croissant and some fresh brewed coffee...this place could be dangerous :) Tip: they only accept credit cards for purchases over $10, so make sure you have cash on hand if you're planning to limit yourself to just one treat (though I highly recommend indulging a bit more on your first trip) :)

So so good! The croissants and other pastries and bread are definitely the real deal. I do wish there was a bit more chocolate in the pain au chocolat, but I'm being greedy. love the West O location, it's nice not to have to drive to the middle of town or further to get something as good as this. Everything here puts the bakery at Bakers next door to shame.

This place is truly delightful!! We have been there countless times trying everything from their croissant's, to their éclairs, tarts to the Lucky Bucket beer bread and were not once disappointed. Not only are their delicacies sinfully delicious to the pallet, true to any bakery in Paris, the craftsman ship is remarkable. I also want to mention the incredible staff working the counter. They are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about every item they sell making it one of the best customer service experiences you will ever have. Thank you for opening this little gem!

Picked up a friend to head to Junkstock and needed to stop at the ATM to get cash on 156th & Dodge. While there my friend says "have you heard of the bakery in this strip mall?". I had not and we saw the sign so I suggested we run in just to see what they had. I had the most heavenly apricot croissant that they make on this earth and the prices were so reasonable!! I definitely will go back to try other items and suggest this place to anyone who wants the flakiest croissant in Omaha.
