I have been here three times now and each time has been the same. The staff is welcoming, very friendly and knowledgeable about the kolaches. My husband and I really like the Italian chicken and the BBQ beef and the fruit kolaches. They make a good light dinner with a couple heated in the oven and a light salad. We will be back again and probably again....Micki

I stopped in and placed an order for take out on a Saturday afternoon. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and patient and answered all of my questions. I decided to go with their kolache of the month (Kolache Fiesta for May) which was stuffed with ham, bacon, cheese, onion, tomato, potato, and jalapeno. I also ordered a peach kolache. The gentleman quickly retrieved and bagged my kolaches for me and rang me up. The entire order was a little over $4. I tried the Kolache Fiesta first and was very impressed with the flavor! For such a small package, it definitely packs a lot of flavor. This flavor combination was pretty random, but it is definitely a good one! I can't wait to try more of their savory versions. I was less satisfied with the peach kolache. I have a huge sweet tooth, so I was expecting to prefer the sweet version, but found it to be lacking in flavor. It was ok, but not good, and I wouldn't order it again. The filling was similar in taste to canned fillings I have had. Another reviewer described the sweet kolache they ordered as "not worth the calories" and I think that is a good description. I love the variety of options this place offers, along with the perfect portion size and very reasonable price. My only criticism is that they need to improve the flavor on the sweet kolaches (at least the peach ones). A drive thru would also be an awesome option - I would eat here all the time!

The food here is wonderful and our staff loved them! However, I will recommend that you either get an actual estimate when you call in an order. Or order on-line so that you get actual pricing. Their website is very misleading if you're feeding a large group of people on a budget. Pricing for a dozen Kolaches is already included in the price, but staff does not share this with you, when you are creating a budget. Very friendly staff, but customer service and accountability is very shaky when an error was found. If going for a small group, I'd say go for it! Their Kolache's are amazing!!!

This is a fun place to visit. They have a wide variety of pastries, so don't be confused by the name. They also sell croissants, pastries, and polish dogs. You have to try a kolache if you visit, though! They sell sweet and fruity kolaches along with savory filled kolaches. I tried the egg and potato kolaches, which are best fresh. The slightly sweet dough is a tasty complement to the savory fillings. We arrived when they first opened for the day, and they were a bit scattered. I understand that they just opened and are working out the kinks.

I would say this reminded me of home but this is a COMPLETELY biased review. My first Kolache Factory visit was a trip back to Texas to see my family last August. I fell in love then and this new location definitely carries on the tradition. My first visit here was a "feed the staff" Saturday and the comments that stood out were "that sausage order" (mild polish) is AMAZING, "first time I ever had kolaches and I want them again" and "I have had many kolaches in my life and those are very good". Special side note, this is also a great place for a cup of coffee. The staff has been excellent both times, lines move fast and there is something for almost everyone. I hope this place gets plenty of love but that that the lines don't get too long.

Really enjoyed my experience today at the kolache factory! I think this place will do well. Very friendly and accommodating staff and the facility is very clean. I like that you can dine in (about 3 booths and 4 tables) or take your kolaches to go. We dined in and sampled the biscuits and gravy, kolache of the month (cherry and cream cheese drizzled with chocolate), bacon, egg and cheese and the ham and cheese. All were very tasty and fresh. I would say if you are hungry you could easily eat two of these, possibly 3. all the kolaches we ordered were under $3 each so very reasonably priced. This is one small gripe but I think they need to provide plates if you dine in. Our kolaches were handed to us in a bag or small bowl and we wanted a plate so we could cut and share. Having them served to us in a bag just didn't work. Also, the ham and cheese kolache we got had no cheese in it at all. Otherwise we will definitely be back. Tons of kolache options (I would guess at least 20) so I can't wait to try more!

Diffrent little place. It has a large selection of kolaches which are like a soft white bun stuffed with different fillings from egg, ham and cheese to bbq chicken. On the monday I went they had a buy 3 take 3 free deal. /-3 of these would probably make a meal. My favorite was the chicken enchilada.

I am so glad Kolache Factory came to Omaha! My breakfast favorites are spinach and sausage/gravy. Two usually does it though 3 is definitely enough. Oh and there is hot chocolate! Good thing it's at like 124/maple or else I'd be there ever morning!

Being Czech and diehard Kolache fan, I had to give this place a try. These kolache are the yeast dough variety. Dough is very light, and just sweet enough. Each kolache has ample filling. They are made fresh everyday. They had very good cream cheese and poppy seed kolaches. These are two of the three my grandmother, the third was plum/prune which they did not have. Apricot and blueberry were excellent. They also have some non-traditional items that I liked a lot. The sausage and gravy and barbecue kolaches were very good but make sure they are completely warmed up. The service was very good considering I visited on the 2nd day they were open. I will be a regular here.

Great taste, decent price. Need more seating. I highly recommend the sausage and cheese or bacon and cheese, I wouldn't even bother with the other varieties.

I don't have a great deal to add that other reviewers haven't said. My grandmother's side is Czech and these Kolache are exactly as I remember her making them when I was a kid. I nearly cried biting into an Apricot Kolach - those were her specialty. It really took me home. The staff is friendly and helpful. I tried some of the meat pockets and was pleasantly surprised. I took an order of Kolache to go along with some of the meat pockets for my weekend house guests. I kept all the pastries warm in a 170 degree oven on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Nothing dried out and my guests were all thrilled with their breakfast.

I like this place. Definitely a good comfort food. Suggest the Sausage and Gravy, my personal favorite, Chicken Enchilada is good too. This is a great place for team activities, way better than doughnuts.

I have been here twice now. These are what my friend calls "Texas Kolache's" and they are balls of dough with pretty much anything inside. I have to say I have become a bit addicted to them and want to try them all. The first two times I have just done the sausage and cheese Kolache's as I liked them so much the first time, and I really just wanted that version again. Both times we were in and out of here very quick as they are already made (or were when we were there) and sitting in warmers. Both times the food tasted super fresh though. Went on a Sunday and they were very busy and the way they have the small place set up can create a bad flow (have to fill you own coffee and get through the line blocking the coffee). Other than that the experience is pretty great. It's a tad bit pricey, but the quality of bread and ingredients in the ones I have have warrant it. I look more to trying more of these. The spaghetti one is next on my list.

The Kolache Factory is amazing! They recently catered an event that I hosted and everyone cannot stop talking about kolaches! Kids and adults both enjoyed the food, the pricing was fair, and food fresh!

I stopped here on Sunday morning. There was a long line, but there were three registers open and the line moved quickly. There were so many choices that I had a hard time deciding what to order. All items I ordered tasted great. So far, my favorite was the apple Kolache. The dough was soft and fresh and there was a generous amount of apple filling. I also liked the barbeque beef Kolache. The prices were very reasonable. I will definitely be back!

This. This is the first time since leaving Texas years ago that I have been able to find a jalapeno sausage and cheese Kolache. They were great. The place is convenient there on Maple and the choices are varied. Since discovering The Kolache Factory we have been there three times and will be making it a regular stop. Looking forward to trying everything.

Staffs were nice enough to converse and explain their products. Very clean and cozy. Loved the variety of coffee selection. We have tried kolache of the month( cherry filling with cream cheese), jalapeño popper, spinach, sausage and gravy, bacon and cheese and among other things and they were all delicious. Definitely recommend you to try!! If you love spicy, must have jalapeño poppers!!! Yum!!!

Staff was great. Very energetic and friendly. I have an allergy and the person waiting on us told us that the kolache did not have the allergen but then double checked and it did. Very grateful that she double checked. I had the egg and cheese kolache which didn't have much flavor. My husband had the spinach which he said was delicious and he would get again while the ranchero was just ok. We shared a chocolate cream cheese kolache and it was not worth the calories. We were excited about this place but it was just ok. Maybe we need to try some different ones. Coffee was good.

Delicious and cheap. I tried the beef philly and the chicken enchilada. Both were excellent. Just opened.
