Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

High Blood Pressure at Jamba Juice

Vegetables and fruits combo is considered the best food to lower blood pressure. More importantly, if you opt for ingredients containing carotenoids such as lutein, beta-carotene, and cryptoxanthin as well as Vitamin C will also help lower blood pressure. Potassium-rich foods also help lower blood pressure. So, if you are concerned about your high blood pressure, then always opt for Jamba Juice smoothies and juices containing vegetables and fruits, especially foods rich in potassium.

They are high in sodium and saturated fat. Most of the items on the Jamba Juice menu are safe for high blood pressure candidates. Fun cool sports bar with everything you need. Pizzas are awesome!

Nice place to watch a sporting event but the prices for the very mediocre food are just silly. $9 for a sandwich at a bar is just too much for me. If the sandwich was really well made and fresh and original maybe, but everything here is just the same old boring bar food. The prices are just way too high in my opinion. This isn't a restaurant but they charge restaurant prices.

Fairly good food, service can be slow at times. The beer-battered fries were really good.

They have the best honey BBQ wings, they are SO good! They have a lot of tasty things on the menu. The BBQ chicken pizza is good too. There are TVs everywhere. They have a limited number of booths that are highchair friendly, but the booths are huge so the whole family can enjoy pizza & wings (or the kids menu). Dad can drink a beer while we watch the game and the kids get to watch whatever they want on the smaller tv that's right at the table. Everyone wins! I highly recommend the burger with the onion ring, bacon and BBQ sauce on it. It was seriously awesome. Their onion rings and fries are really good. We've yet to order anything we didn't like. I just wish their cocktail menu was better. It was a bit too froofy. It needs more drinks on it like a zombie or mai tais or something.

I went to the Ice House on a Husker Saturday and couldn't believe how good the service was. We had multiple waitresses stop by and even with the massive crowd our drinks were never empty (for an Irishman that's a must)! I had the cheeseburger and it was fresh, delicious and hot. My compliments to the owners and staff who really have it together for a busy game day. Other establishments should come in and see how good service is done.

Went here with some buds for MNF. Decent food, mediocre service and environment. Ended up getting overcharged for the tip on my credit card (waitress changed the number on my receipt) but the credit card company promptly reversed the charge after the management couldn't be bothered to take my calls. Nothing special enough to warrant going back when there are so many other sports bars in the area.

It's always interesting to be at the Ice House during a major sporting event... March Madness, for example. When it was a matter of convenience I would end up here for happy hour every once and a while, but it's really a 'dude hangout'. For lack of a better term. There have definitely been times where I was very close to being the only female customer (all the servers are female). Drinks and drink specials are the reason to go here if you're in the area. (In addition to all the TVs and typical bar video-games). I can't recommend the food though.

They have the BEST fried pickles. Remember that it is pub food but with an extensive menu. They are under new ownership and it is really, really good! Great prices! Fun atmosphere!!

The Ice House is a sports bar, plain and simple. They have started offering comedy shows from like Z-list and local comedians, which is typically less entertaining than open mic night at Alcoholics Anonymous. The drink specials are not special or particularly creative. You can usually tell which wine and spirits sales rep is sleeping with the owner, because the Ice House offers some bastardized concoction from one of their products. I'm not saying you should avoid it, but really, there are much better places to hang out in Omaha.

My man and I love this place so much! We especially love the staff.. Our main bartenders Sam and Nicole are great. Mike the Kitchen Manager is also our fave.. Keaton the cook.. Everyone makes it a great experience and we get down on some Keno. It's also always clean which is really important for this home girl

Service was slow and poor. Waited over 45 minutes for our order. When I asked the waitress for the ETA for our meal, she said "Not sure, it's game night." Food was okay.... the atmosphere is great. Huge sports bar with TV's everywhere, even at your personal table.

Went to ice house for a birthday party. Didn't know they did birthday parties. Wednesday is half priced drink and pizza night so it was very busy. I'm surprised at the great service that was provided considering how busy they were. Ice house is not number one on my list however it was a good experience and kicked their ranking up a notch.

The drinks are fine. I especially enjoy their specials - Long Island iced tea pitcher for $10? What a deal. And it's actually well made! Their food/service is a different story. I've been in more than a handful of times and EVERY TIME they cannot seem to get my order right. I keep giving them chances and want to like this place (out of convenience that it's right by my home), but they keep disappointing me. The servers act like they don't care and question you as if you made the mistake. I've found a closer and better bar. Haven't been back since.

First Thursday night football game! You walk in and seat yourself. Waitress was quick to give attention to us because the game had already started. She took our drink orders and quickly brought them out. Seemed like a great start, App Chips and beef queso! Tasted amazing and homemade. Cheap and worth the bite Frozen onion rings as well, fried right and came with i think a house ranch dressing with a little Zing Boom spice. Not bad... Kids didnt mind the taste either We thought pizza because kids love pizza! Homemade pizza it is! For 3 small kids I ordered just a small 6 piece cheese pizza for them For 3 adults i choose todo 2 speciality pizza's Half Meat lovers and half Philly steak, Ill surly be back to have that combo again because it was amazing When the pizza came out it looked very tasty but i had to wait to eat because the our waitress scotty forgot to put in my kids pizza.... This was very disappointing. I always believe in feeding the kids first because they start to get tiresome of having to wait around. So we waited for the pizza to come out to start to enjoy our pizza,. It tasted great... I like icehouse and the surroundings. I felt comfortable being there and the prices are great. Since it was my birthday i was offered a free shot... who doesnt like free right? When i recieved the check, the 5.00 dollar shot was added on. Did she not think i was going to overlook the check and see if everything was correct. I pointed this out to her and to it was changed. All in all it was a great time and i will come back but i wont be looking to have scotty as our waitress again. 6.00$ pitchers of beer!!!

I'll admit that I don't really care for sports bars to begin with, so I usually don't even bother reviewing them. And if I am pressed to review them, I am as fair as possible in keeping in mind how the bar would appeal to the intended crowd and how well it performs in that task. Unfortunately, this place is just nothing more than mediocre, and that's mainly due to the service and food. With as many TVs as there are in the place, you should be able to catch whatever game you want to watch. A lot of sports logos all over the place and neon signs to keep the place visually stimulating. In terms of seating, they have a lot of high-top tables with stools pulled around them, as well as a section with booths. There is also a lot of seating around the perimeter of the bar, too. I wish I could say I've had an enjoyable experience here at least once, but out of the four times I've been here, I haven't. This is mostly due to the sub-par service and completely average bland bar food. The last visit really takes the cake, though. Our group of friends decided to meet up there for our friend's birthday. Obviously not my first pick, but it's what he wanted, so we all were happy to go for him. When we first arrived, we settled in a booth, but as more of our group arrived, we had to move over to a high-top table. Our server said it would be no problem, and everything would work out fine that way. Once we were seated at the table, no one seemed to acknowledge us, and I was completely unaware of who our server was at that point (or if we even had one). Eventually, food runners showed up with everything we had ordered while we were at the booth earlier. Everyone began to chow down, and I reached a point where I had gotten to the bottom of my water glass and was very thirsty. Same story with my girlfriend. It would've been nice to have some liquid to go with our food, so I started craning my neck around to see who our server might be so I could flag him or her down. I didn't see anyone who might be working our area, so I waited it out about 15 minutes to see if a server would stop by for the proper check on refills and ask if we need anything else. When that didn't happen, I finally decided to just take matters into my own hands and go straight to the bar carrying our water glasses to get them refilled quickly. When I approached the bar, the bartender was on the other side, pouring beers and making some mixed drinks, but she was by no means overwhelmed. She seemed to be purposely ignoring me, and once she finally started looking at me, she kept giving me dirty looks and not coming over to help me. She finally walked over to me with a very annoyed look on her face, not ever actually asking if I needed help, but had that "what do you want???" type of vibe. I presented the two empty glasses and asked her if I could get refills on our waters. She stared at them for a moment and then snatched them away, saying, "Okay. But just so you know, you have a server" and then stormed away. She stormed away too quickly to hear my retort, "Oh, really? Because I couldn't tell." I saw her carry the glasses to the other side of the bar where she started talking to some girl who allegedly was our server. You could tell it was a very tense conversation, where she kept pointing in my direction and looking back at me as she appeared to be ranting to our server -- most likely directing her venom at me, as if I had disrupted the whole operation by going straight to her. I couldn't overhear the conversation. She then handed the glasses to the server for her to refill them. So apparently my request was so backwards that the bartender couldn't even be bothered to just spray some water into our glasses and hand them back to me. It had to instead become an ordeal. I didn't realize that I had just escalated my thirst crisis into DEFCON 1. Like, this was a really big deal to her. The server then filled the glasses and brought them to me. After that, this person who was now our server showed up at our table regularly to check up on us. She was at least nice to us, but it would've been nice to see her earlier so the bartender wouldn't have lost her mind when I sabotaged her well-oiled operation of not dealing with customers. Anyhow, after all is said and done, I know a lot of people in our group still love the place for their sports bar fix, and the mediocre food is enough to fill you up for a meal. Unless another friend requests this as their birthday venue, I am steering far clear of this worthless place.

Excellent wings and they run a half price pizza special. The place was packed. The best thing is the cute waitresses and a ton of TVs with any sporting event you want on.

Just left unhappily.. The genius manager decided he would rather play the NFL football game on the big screen with sound while the Royals game was on. That is the Royals PLAYOFF game and last time I checked Omaha was home of the Royals minor league team- unbelievable.. Ton of Royals fans in there- not happy... This guy was more worried about what he wanted to watch instead of the customers..

How had I not been to Ice House before?? I have been going to DJs Dugout for years, and have always loved the atmosphere but hated the food. Enter Ice House. Their beer battered fries were amazing, and the pizza looked killer. I'll report back on that soon. Prices are a bit high on food, more like $8-9 for appetizers which I don't get, but everything looked tasty. I saw they have half off apps during happy hour, so I'll have to go check it out sometime. my favorite part was the TV screens at each table - really cool. I'll be back to watch more games. servers were prompt at making sure everyone was taken care of.

My favorite sports bar to watch Creighton games or really, any sporting event. My favorite is by far their beer battered fries with ranch. They are a "must have" every time I come to Ice House. Their wings were pretty good too but not a fan of the pizza. Other than that, typical sports bar atmosphere.

If your goal of the night is sports, semi over priced booze and being ogled by drunk dudes in jerseys then Ice House is the place! I lost a bet with the boyfriend and went along to watch a hockey game at the bar. Not one of my shining moments but I'm not one to bitch and moan so I made the best of it and ordered Malibu and Diets like they would run out of them at the stroke of midnight. We sat with a gentleman who probably should have been cut off of his whiskey intake about 7 whiskeys ago and his new friend from out of town who I think was waiting for the guy to go to the bathroom so he could eat the rest of his food. I for one did not partake in anything from the menu so I cannot speak about the quality. No matter. Again I make lemonade with my lemons. I soon made friends with all bar-seated patrons and even learned to follow the game a bit. Overall, the bar staff is very friendly and attentive, the drinks are priced for a sports bar and customers fit the stereotype. I was a bit confused by all the small children running amok but who am I to judge? Oh wait, that's what I'm doing right now. :)

By far and away the worst sports bar in Omaha. Service is always catty (detract claws here) and the management? Non-existent owner or manager, the staff is like a sorority, meets pitchers of beer and attitude, in a steel cage match with Animal from the muppets!

Always have a good experience here, we usually go in the evenings during the week. Usually a small to medium crowd inside. Appropriate number of wait staff working, they are always nice, friendly and check in with the patrons often. Pitchers are priced right, the last time we went on a Thursday domestic pitchers were $6.50.

Ice House is a big sports bar that does all the sports bar things that a sports bar should. There are TVs all over the place, hanging on walls, over the bar, even at each of the booths. The server we had was friendly, helpful, and timely. The downside of the Ice House doing all the sports bar things that a sports bar does is that they make sports bar food, which is to say they offer very boring and mediocre options. If you've been to a few sports bars before, you can just about order here without even looking at a menu. Want some BBQ wings? No problem. Philly cheese-steak? Of course. Oversized cheeseburger? Coming right up. Just because I'm giving them three stars, don't think that I'm on the fence about them. Truth be told, the Ice House is as good a sports bar as you'll find in Omaha. The unfortunate thing is that even at its most masterful level, the sports bar as an entity still only warrants four out of five stars. With that in mind, I award the Ice House three stars for being a great edition of a definitively mediocre idea.
