Ease of Online Ordering - 5 out of 5 stars Delivery - 1.5 out of 5 stars (nice driver; took almost double the estimated delivery time) Food Taste/Quality - Eh. 2 out of 5 stars Order again? - NO I placed an order online, which was very easy and straight-forward. About 3 minutes later, I got a phone call saying that they were out of an appetizer and did I want something else instead. I said "No. Just take it off." No big deal. It happens. The estimated delivery time was 45 mins later (I ordered more than $40 of food, so not a big deal). An hour and fifteen minutes after the order was placed, the gentleman arrived. He was very nice and polite. The order still had the appetizer on it that should have been taken off. He gave me the difference in cash, which was fine. I open the bag and saw I was missing an order of crab rangoon. The only reason I didn't call and complain again was because the gentleman handed us a 2L of soda that we did not order. So, all total, I was shorted ~$3. It's not worth it for me to complain. As for the food, some of it was cold and lacked flavor. The fried items were not crispy. My sister liked her chicken egg foo yong, but I've had better sesame chicken (not crispy and the sauce was thin without much flavor). All in all, everything was average and I did not receive everything I ordered. I will not order from this restaurant in the future, unfortunately.

Wow, I am shocked at the poor customer service. The woman had an issue with our credit card, we had plenty of money in the account so it must have been her error, we ordered delivery. So she called us screaming and cursing at us. Accusing us of "not having money". Loud, cursing and incredibly rude. We had their food once before and it was average "eh" Chinese food, nothing wonderful but fine for delivery. Never again will I order from them or eat there. Completely unprofessional and rude.

Most disgusting food ever. The only reason they get a star is because the app makes me select at least one. We ordered delivery and after 40 minutes, we got what was supposed to be Chinese food. This stuff wasn't even edible. The meat tasted spoiled and the sauces were disgusting. We've tried many Chinese restaurants and have never had this kind of experience. To top it off, when I brought the food back for a refund with only 2 bites taken out, the owners yelled at me and refused. They said I had to call the cops to get my refund...and so I wait for the police officers to handle something so ridiculous because they obviously have nothing better to do. I apologize whole heartedly to the Omaha Police Department.

Man, I was all excited to have some Chinese food for the Lunar New Year tonight but it was too cold for me to leave the comforts of my cozy home. So I Googled, Omaha Chinese delivery and this place got good reviews. Should have Yelped :(. I ordered Mapo/Szechuan Tofu which to Chinese people means this delicious tofu and ground pork dish in a savory spicy luscious sauce. I got lots of tofu in a gelatinous sweet and spicy sauce (too much corn starch!) with no meat and rock hard green peas and carrots. I also got the dumplings; those were decent. They also mistakenly gave me a noodle dish that I think is their version of Singapore rice noodles. Tons of noodles, spicy curry flavor, but no veg and sparse meat and totally dry. Definitely not good either. Never again. Saddest Chinese girl in Omaha tonight.

I decided to try this place because I have been running low on places to try. Boy was I sorry. I got their kung pao beef, and it had to be the worst chinese food I have ever had. While everything was fresh and tasted ok, it was not chinese. It tasted like brown gravy with a little sesame oil. By the time I was done I had a slight upset stomach, not a good sign. Even now, 2 hours later I still feel a bit ill. The restaurant in general looks run down and the booths are all torn up. I will not be going back here and suggest others look elsewhere. I did post a photo, the best my little tablet could take. On a side note, they have no bicycle parking or anything to really lock one up to. But too much car parking. Not what I like to see.

Horrible night for them tonight. Ordered at 5:17. Called at 6:30 & 6:45. Both times I was told 5-10 min. I live 3 blocks away. I could have gone & picked it up. Made dinner in the time it took them to get to my house at 7:19. They said they were very generous for giving me $7 off a $34 order. Tipped the delivery driver. Not his fault but for peat sake let a customer know when your deliver time is over two hours. I plan on taking back the up opened deliver tonight. That should be fun. We were regular customers. WERE.

Happy Family has the best Chinese food in the Benson area . They offer free delivery and the prices are very reasonable. I would not suggest dining in, it's a grocery too so not much for atmosphere. Highly recommend the Singapore style Mee Fun, broad noodles in a spicy curry like sauce with shrimp, pork & veggies. They always do a good job with the mainstays too - broccoli beef, lemon chicken, lo mein, etc. What I like best is that the veggies are always cooked tender crisp, everything tastes so fresh. I'm giving it 4 stars because from time to time we suspect that they sub in some unexperienced cooks and we have gotten some less than super dinners. Over all though, the food has been good quality for the money. We've been eating there for 5 years so that must count for something!

Oh the high hopes I had... Dashed. First off, it's a restaurant AND grocery store (sweet!). You can get Japanese eggplant, packages of almond cookies, sheets of seaweed, a crazy assortment of noodles and meats that I can't recognize. BUT, the dishes we got for take out, were not good. In fact, they were pretty bad. Even the rice was a bit mushy (really? I know how to screw up rice, I don't need to pay for that). The powers of deduction tell me that maybe we ordered the wrong thing. There were a number of peeps in there shopping and eating, I think they knew something we didn't. Or they have crap taste.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
