Amazing, quirky pizzas! The sauces were excellent as were the crusts. Great service too!

If you're a pizza place and your crust is bad and your sauce is bad and the cheese is weird then there is no point going back. I usually try a slice of pepperoni the first time at a new pizza joint for easy comparison and Goodnights failed miserably. Normally I pick a slice up, fold it in half length-wise and eat with my hands but this was so floppy and drippy (and grease doesn't usually bother me) that I had to use a knife and fork. Yet somehow the knife wouldn't cut the limp crust?!? And where did all the grease come from, not the cheese, it wasn't properly melted - you could still see the shredded shape. But what dear lord do they put in the sauce and crust to make it so sickly sweet? Yuck.

Second time around I was VERY disappointed to hear that they were ONLY serving mediocre beer such as Bud Light and Corona, and that I couldn't get an IPA, because of the college basketball tournament - which I was not there to see. Still love their food but that was a major let down.

Goodnights has a lot to offer. From great beer (Stone, Rogue, et al..) on tap to great pizza. the crust DOES have a char which I like. It is kind of a brick fired taste. I love the Wild Mushroom and also the Walnut Apple. These stand out amongst the other offerings in Omaha. The Wild Mushroom offers a distinct variety of great mushrooms. Portobella, crimini, and my favorite shiitake. It makes for a great taste and texture. the Apple Walnut is by far my most favorite and I get it regardless if I am hungry or not. Toasted walnuts make a great flavor. the fresh apples add tartness and zest. Top that with truffle oil and arugula and it is basically an awesome salad pizza! The slice size is huge. Two slices is more than enough for most folks. If you are reading this and near here you should go here

This is my go-to for pre-event dining when I have tix to an event at the Centurylink. They have inventive toppings, and their signature crust is divine! I mean, cream cheese on a pizza, could it get any better than that? When there are events at the Centurylink. they will not make individual slices, but if you can agree with your dining companions, it is more economical to order a whole pizza. I have also ordered their salads, both as sides and main entrees. They are fresh and full of veggies.

I would definitely say Goodnights is a solid 3 star experience. But that's really about it. I've had better and I've had worse. It's in a great location, right down the street from my apartment....But really NoDo needs more businesses and shops to make it boom like it wants to. If you're downtown for an event anywhere it's in the perfect spot. Great patio and outdoor seating, and a nice view. I do like their choices of pizza here, they're very unique. We got a chicken pesto and meatball pizza. I also ordered the Sam Adams seasonal they had on tap, one of the very few taps they have here.....Increase the beer selection and I might be here more often. Chicken pesto was good, not great. I'm not a big fan of their crust for some reason, it tastes like it's inflated....That's all I can describe it as. Meatball pizza was good but some slices had very litte sauce and others were drenched in it. They both tasted good however. Our server looked like she would rather die than keep working here. The other waitrses looked friendly though. And by no means do I mean we got bad service, she just didn't look like she wanted to be there. I'd come back to try more things when it's nice out.

Pizza. Good beer cold although plastic cups at 8:30 :(. Pizza has many flavors. Ours was vey good crust rhinish yet just right for the generous toppings. Lots of high quality cheese yum

The workers here are pretty ridiculous; all texting, just watching tv, and not paying attention to the customers. The pizza is decent, I usually get the twice baked pizza...it does taste good but it's literally different every time I come here. It's convenient when I'm downtown and always has open tables, the only real reasons I'm a repeat customer.

Decent spot for week day work lunch, as they have decently priced single slice specials. Service is always good, frienfly and attentive. A bonus for lunch time, there's never been a crowd when I've gone, so service has been prompt. Not the best, but def not the worst.

The staff is cool and the beer is cold. I gave it a low rating because the cook. He keeps coming out to the bar area to watch the game and he is GROSS!! He looks like it has been several days since his last shower. Dough is caked on his hands so he obviously washes them often..... Seriously. Was going to eat but can't now. Guess we'll just drink.

Overpriced for what you get. I had the chicken cream cheese, it was just ok. It would have been better with fresh jalapeños instead of from a jar and more of them.

NCAA Basketball Tournament time, questioning if the place was open or not walking up to it. Sat at the bar, told the bartender they needed to set some tables up on the patio so people know they are open. Her reply well we don't have the wait staff for that. Ordered a pizza no black olives. Guess what it had in it when it came out? A bartend came up and asked how was the pizza is I was like ehhh, and she walked away. Had to ask for beers. All in all really bad service. Really unprepared for a big national NCAA Tournament in Town. Very disappointing. Not like you didn't have a warning this was coming to town.

Pizza is below average - about like the pies you can carry out at Hy-Vee. Way over-priced. The wait staff assigned to our table was either hungover or would have rather been starting her hair on fire elsewhere. We shall not return. The only reason it's not 1 star is because I've experienced some pizza that Old Yeller wouldn't eat.

The pizza is way overpriced for what you get. The food taste pretty good, but not really worth the price.

I visited Goodnights over lunch hour last week and was really surprised at how much I enjoyed the food. I had heard mixed reviews, so when a coworker suggested we go there for lunch, I shrugged my shoulders and said, "why not?". During lunch (I'm assuming M-F only), they offer three lunch specials -- 1) pizza and pop 2) pizza and salad and 3) two pieces of pizza. Or something like that. I got the pizza and salad and it was supes yummy. I ordered a side salad and it was a typical side salad - nothing special. For pizza, I went with the Pesto Chicken pizza and oh my, was this delicious. It's huge - one slice will definitely fill you up. It came loaded with cheese and chicken - I actually had to use my fork the entire time to eat it because the slice was too heavy to pick up. It was really dead over lunch - I think the place could comfortably fit 80 people and there were about 12 total. However, I think it's really picks up around Jays games and CWS. Check it out!

Went on a Wed night. 1 guy at bar, 3 tables, 1 server/bartender. Pizza, wings, salad, and a full bar. I travel the US for work and I try to hit the one-of-a-kind pizza places wherever I go. I would say that Goodnights has decent pizza that is WAY OVERPRICED! $5.99 for a slice of pepperoni & sausage? I may let $5 a slice slide if the piece is 18 inches long like a giant NY slice. But this was a slice smaller than what you get at Dominos or Pizza Hut. Yes the pizza slice at goodnights tasted better than those places, but not 300% better. Menu looks like this: Salad $9.99 Wings $5.99 for 6 A DOLLAR A WING!?? Pizza slice/14"/18" $5.99/$17.99/$25.99 Sorry Goodnights, as a frequent visitor of Omaha and the downtown area, I will stick with Sam & Louies.

How did this place get any good reviews??? The worst pizza I have encountered. It tastes like cheap frozen pizza that was sitting on the shelf at the dollar store. Stay away.

My buffalo chicken salad was delicious! April was my server and the service was fantastic! Highly recommend!!

Went there last night and ordered 6 hot wings and a large margarita pizza. My pregnant wife went to urgent care from excessive vomiting and severe stomach pain few hours after eating at the restaurant. The wings were cold and bloody mary virgin was a bad mixture. The pizza had sprinkles of basil crumbles and a few slices of tomatoes - not worth $23.00 for the pie. This place should have a second review from the city inspection to check if the raw foods are properly stored and refrigerated. We will never come back here.

  • Kyle T.

Service was fine. Pizza was wildly mediocre and incredibly overpriced. $6/slice for so-so pizza. 2 draft beers and 2 slices came to $23 before tip. Never again. There are way too many options that have higher quality and better prices. I have no idea how this place stays open unless they're making a killing on CWS patrons and that nest egg carries them through the year.

  • David S.

The service was good except for the fact that our server made an excuse for the new cook still in training and brought out 3 slices for our table of 4 that no one ordered. The Thai pizza was just mediocre, and the walnut apple slice featured a burnt, tasteless crust, scorched inedible walnuts, 3 wilted arugula leaves, and no discernible sauce. I don't know what's worse, the 'new' cook's skills or the manager allowing any of that pizza out of the kitchen. Save yourself and do not give this place the business it clearly does not deserve.

    (2)
  • Kyle T.

Wildly mediocre pizza at exorbitant (i.e. College World Series) prices. Service is okay, but both times I've been there the pizza's been weak and the prices have been a lot higher than they need to be. Given all the other pizza options as well as better restaurants in the immediate area, I have no idea why someone would go here unless it's for some type of penance.

Is it possible to give less than one star? Service is horrid - i dread it when coworkers want to eat here. New strategy is to just get a soda and eat out of the vending machine when we get back to the office. Too many other great spots for pizza that actually know how to take care of a customer. Top notch location - too bad everything else falls short.

    (1)
  • Larry A.

Pizza is pretty good, but the service is horrible.... I'd go elsewhere if you can. The place is always dead, but it's up to you to track down a waiter and then they act inconvenienced by you.

Delicious and inventive pizza! Chicken ranch something was amazing. Too bad they added an extra apostrophe on the wall in the third line...my grammar OCD couldn't handle it!

My wife, who is a chef and used to be the Director of a culinary school, as well as myself, consider this to be among the best pizza options in the City of Omaha. We were pretty shocked when the Omaha World Herald went on a hunt (anecdotally) for the best pizza places in town, recently, and didn't include Goodnights amongst the ten places they went to. It's easily in the top ten. That said, service here can be very hit or miss. Both bartenders and wait staff. They serve nothing else here besides pizza, salads, and wings. The complainers about parking I see here at Yelp apparently don't know there is parking out back because I have NEVER had an issue with finding any. I've never had to walk more than 100 feet from my car to eat here. My wife and I eat here regularly prior to UNO home hockey games. That's 20 some times per season as we are season ticket holders. The tap beer selection is small and poor. 6 selections, maybe? Has numerous TVs that are both too small and in the wrong locations. The single pizza slice prices are a tad high relative to full size pizza prices. Two slices start getting into the realm of an entire pizza. That said, individual slices are fairly large. They used to have two different crust options (both thin) and they pared it back to just one. Why, I don't know. I liked one and my wife liked the other. If all you serve is pizza, really, what's the big deal of having and keeping two crust choices? Of all the places near the CenturyLink Center to eat casual, before a game, this is best of the bunch. As long as you like good pizza. This is way better pizza than a lot of tried and true places here in Omaha and blows any chain away.

Pizza, salad and wings -- that's all you're going to find here. But I, for one, actually enjoy it when restaurants don't offer anything and everything in an attempt to please everyone. So if you're in the mood for pizza and want to try some unique toppings - definitely consider Goodnights. I personally recommend the bruschetta if you're looking to go meatless or, for some protein and a few (read: a lot) more calories, give the Barbecue Brisket a try -- don't forget to add cream cheese! By the way, the only thing that kept me from giving them five stars is the SEVERE drop in service whenever there is an event at TD Ameritrade Park or the CLink. You can't blame them because there aren't a lot of other options in the area. But there's a quick fix -- avoid event nights and you're sure to have a five-star experience!

Atmosphere: C- Food: B- Service: B The food was okay, certainly not the best in town, but certainly edible. I found the wait staff to be friendly and helpful, the menu is limited so there really wasn't much education to provide. The atmosphere is very much a bar, which is okay for what it is, which isn't much.

Walked in last ngiht after a long day at the zoo and it was dead. We got our menu's and there is literally nothing besides wings, pizza, and salad. It was a pretty grim selection. We ordered the philly pizza and it had an odd taste to it. It was just ok i guess. There are way better places in omaha than this place. Also, the bartender was consistantly taking shots with the customers and nobody was really working... that place was filthy. We probably wont be back.. ever.

Pizza and salad were both very good, but overpriced in my opinion. Service was good. And atmosphere nice, just expensive for not much food.

We were throwing a block party in the parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were famished after setting it up. Goodnights sounded like a fulfilling option. Aesthetically, I really liked this place. Its big and has loads of tv's, plus some outdoor seating. They really only do specialty pizzas, but they have a lot of really amazing selections. The best thing is that they allow you to split your pizza in half and do two separate specialties on one pie. It didn't even matter if there were two different sauces, they could still split it. We did half G-unit (basically every form of swine available, other than scrapple), and the other half was a ranch club. The ranch club was chicken, bacon, white sauce, ranch dressing, and avacodo. The g,g,g,G-unit would've made 50 cent proud, unless he is muslim or jewish. The ranch club was equally as good. The ranch was so subtle, I could see, but I couldnt taste it. It was a very interesting combination, but it worked well. I was weary of having a lot of toppings, as that can sometimes keep the center of the pie from getting crisp. That was not the case with Goodnights. The pizza was crisp and delicious all the way through. The price seems a little steep, especially if you're thinking about just a slice ($5.49). If your party is two people, the 14' round is more than an ample amount of food. And once you see the finished product, and consider the amount of toppings, you realize that it is quite reasonable. I'd definitely recommend.

I'm with Matt on the burnt pizza and Chuck on the strange lack of what I'll call 'food accessories'. Aside from the other items I won't hold against the restaurant that I didn't enjoy (namely that I felt like I was eating in someones garage, and that said doors remained open when it was below 60 degrees outside), the food items that are available just were... Meh. Now don't get me wrong, crispy crust is fine by me. In fact, I prefer it. But this was what you might call burnt, singed, darkened, or crunchy (like a crouton) and left an unsavory aftertaste. As far as ingredients are concerned, I don't like my meal to be a scavenger hunt. I considered ordering the Thai (which our friends ended up getting and traded me a piece), I was glad I didn't. Let's break it down by ingredients: sweet chili sauce (double-check), shiitake mushrooms (where?), cilantro (umm...), garlic chicken breast (check, small pieces), mozzarella (some) & chopped peanuts (check). I wish I would have taken pictures, but I thought it especially strange that the ingredients that were hard to find were the vegetables. I'm a cilantro freak, I'll admit it, but when the Thai pizza had no visible green on it, I was confused. Also, shiitake mushrooms: taste good and look better. Why not throw on a couple halves at least in lieu of chopping? Now our pizza, the g unit, great name, same ingredient-hunt... you'd think this one would have been a carnivore's dream, but it just reminded me of a single-topping in terms of ingredient volume. And when I got to the crust, it was even less satisfying (as described above). On the topic of accompaniments, I understand not messing around with things like pasta and burgers when you want to focus on pizza... but no salad or dessert? Hmm. Very strangely though, they did have ranch available (used to temper the burnt crust taste). And as for parking... welcome to downtown. Sorry but it shouldn't be a suprise. If you want a huge lot, head out west.

I really really wanted to like this place. It is in a great location (for me anyway), the place looks great and the staff is awesome. However, the pizza leaves alot to be desired. We started off with a few mixed drinks - they were made perfectly and the bartender had a great attitude and personality. Then things took a turn for the worse. We ordered two pizzas - the Little Italy and The Loaded - both with the signature crust option. Both of these pizzas came out burnt (not just charred like a wood fired crust). The sauce was totally unremarkable as well as the ingredients. It was not the worst pizza I ever had but it was not memorable in any way. The place was pretty much deserted too - maybe a sign that others are catching onto this low quality pizza already too??

So this place hits an odd note with me. While I view it as a welcome concept in Omaha, and I'm sure it will be PACKED once the new stadium opens, I just don't see myself frequently patronizing the place. An issue that bothers me: while the slices are pricey, albeit large at ~$5 a slice, what really bugs me is that when I order a slice of Margherita, stated on menu at $3.99, and my receipt comes up saying the slice is $4.49. If the menus were old, I wouldn't think it was a big deal, but this place just opened! They can't inflate prices after just opening because they feel like it. Yes, it is only 50 cents, but still. This is Omaha, we like to pay what was stated, not a higher rate. Just my two cents. Or fifty. Also, my margherita slice I think was mixed with mint leaves instead of basil, so this pizza had a funky taste to it. I think I prefer Zios and Pitch over Goodnights, though they do have an awesome shot menu with catchy names. I guess time will tell what happens with this place. I bet it survives, but the service needs to improve, they need to do some sort of happy hour, and maybe add on some side salads to please everyone's palates.

Great place for lunch. They have a wide range of pizzas from whole pies to single (large) slices). The bayou blast with shrimp and andouille sausage was tasty though I prefer the meaty super G. I didn't know it, but Monday through Thursday lunches the slices are buy one, get one free which was a great bonus.

A group of three of us dined here after the color run in downtown Omaha. They had a lot of good choices and it was nice you could order the pizza by the slice even though it was clearly not economical. The pizza was good, in the group we had hamburger, Thai, G unit, twice baked, and chicken cream cheese. All tasty, but I thought the crust is what really set this place apart. However, this was one of the worse services I have experienced. It 10 minutes to get drinks, then 25 min after we ordered slices, they told us they are not doing those today. We ordered a whole pizza, only to receive the original slices 25 minutes later. We never did see the whole pizza, but where never charged. The reason for 4 stars was this was good pizza and we were willing to give the service of the place a second chance.

We dropped by here for a late lunch on Saturday. We were very impressed upon entering the establishment. The restaurant was very well maintained and stylish. The location is absolutely perfect and I have no doubt that it will be packed during the CWS when it debuts at the new stadium next year. Looking out of the windows from our booth, we could see the stadium and Qwest Center. The other side had the opening garage doors leading to an outdoor dining area. The pizza is unique and I would consider it to be gourmet. We ordered by the slice and I had the bruschetta and the twice baked both with the signature crust. The bruschetta pizza was amazing. The balsamic glaze was fantastic and it was refreshing with the garlic olive oil sauce, tomatos, and arugula. The twice baked pizza had diced red potatos, bacon bits, and cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. For being a thin crusted pizza, it was heavy and filling. It was good but not nearly as good the bruschetta. The red potatos were a nice touch, however. I appreciated the fact that they offered pizza by the slice for $4-$5 each. I was pretty hungry upon arriving and couldn't quite finish both slices. The slices were large and the price is decent. You can also buy a 14" for around $16 while the 18" is about $20. If you're in the neighborhood and in the mood for something different, I recommend Goodnights.

Outstanding pizza and an incredibly unique and broad pizza combinations I have seen. We had a half Ruben and half Spin Chicken and both were delicious. The crust was perfectly crispy, not thick (too much dough ruins a pizza in my opinion) and served hot as it should be. Even the left overs were heated up on a baking stone at home and were nearly as good - fresh at the restaurant is always best. Goodnights does pizza right, keep up the great work!!

Bad pizza. Weird combination of favors, with giant tomatoes shoved under a stingy sprinkling of cheese that was barely melted. Plus, it was not cheap ($37 for a salad a large pizza). Two visits were more than enough to cement a reputation as sub-par pizza.

I've ordered pizza for carryout from here twice just this week! As such, I can't comment on the table service, but when I called, the pizza's were ready in about 15 minutes, which is a very fast turnaround. The "islands" pizza is excellent, as long as you like pineapple on your pizza. The cream cheese gobs...even better! The "chicken cream cheese" pizza is also very good. Again, gobs of cream cheese, as well as chicken and jalapenos. As far as product is concerned, they have added a few salads to their menu since my first visit. Hopefully, as long as the service has improved, they'll do very well as far as business is concerned with the upcoming College World Series...they're right across the street from TD Ameritrade Stadium.

burnt crusts, poor service, not for us. Friend insisted this was he place to go for pizza in Omaha. Maybe we came on a bad night? Service was terrible. Empty drinks all the time, salad served with no utensils. After 10 minutes of trying to get someone's attention we finally went to bar for set ups. we ordered two pizzas which were delivered to the table 10 minutes apart? Both burnt crusts and way over sauced. Like I said, maybe a bad night.

Went here after a horrible encounter at another place during the CWS. Got a table right away, they had specials posted, and our waitress was friendly. Ordered the cheeseburger pizza and it was fantastic! A little pricy, but downtown and worth the price. Overall I would go back.

Goodnights is not the place to go if you like food. If you look for anything in pizza other than "round" you are going to be disappointed. Tasteless, unripe supermarket tomatoes in August, both in the salad and, inexplicably, thickly sliced and soggy, *underneath* the cheese on the pizza margherita. The perfectly flat and insipid crust crust is rolled or machined. I'll wager that the cheese arrived at the restaurant in a very, very large bag, already shredded, and possibly frozen. I ordered a lemonade and received some awful chemical concoction that I am absolutely sure had never even been told a story about a lemon. The service was inept, but I understand that everyone has their bad days, and their first days (I'm guessing this was our server's first day on the job.) It was pretty disappointing to sit down to a sticky table. And it was a little surprising that she had no idea where the only non-macro brew on tap, Lucky Bucket, was brewed (I wanted local, and I looked it up: it's made in Omaha.) As another reviewer put it, if you are looking for "gobs of cream cheese" on your pizza this may be your place. If that doesn't sound so appetizing, heed this and the other negative reviews and look elsewhere for pizza in Omaha.

I've never seen this place busy. Maybe I've only been at the wrong times. Maybe it's because this place is GIANT and it only seemed empty because of it's size... Regardless, there is better pizza places in Omaha. I think Goodnights will do well in Omaha because of their location conveniently across the street from the new baseball stadium. Bravo Goodnights Pizza. You knew what you were doing. So it comes as no surprise when I walk in and see this giant pizza place empty because it was built to hold college world series crowds. Nothing wrong with that I guess. As far as the pizza goes, they seem to have quite a selection and reasonable prices. Their pizza is comparable to California Pizza Kitchen... take that however you want. Two out of the three times I have visited I got the wrong pizza. The problem was fixed and the server was apologetic but I find it odd considering how dead it was those nights. They don't really leave much to be desired, I guess. There are other local places that are comparable in price but have better food.

Was rushing to a movie at FilmStreams, and stumbled upon GOODNIGHTS. I only had a few minutes to choke down a couple of slices of a veggie pizza... In record time, our server delivered a piping hot pizza that was sensational! Great crust....almost tasted like Uno's in Chicago...but thinner. Real tomatoes...and excellent quantity of "stuff" on top. Price was right...service excellent...and the product was EXCELLENT.

Came here for a quick lunch. I had the taco pizza slice and it was pretty good. The place wasn't very busy so we didn't wait very long. I like the humor around the place. Not much more to say, really.

I'm a big fan of this pizza. Both times I've been here they were super busy and service was a bit slow. The pizza however did not disappoint. Crisp crust, not floppy like a lot of joints, chewy crust like it should be and fresh toppings. I have to give them a slight pass on the slow service since it was extremely busy. The one thing I cannot overlook is that on arguably one of their busiest times (outside of the CWS) why in the world would they reserve half of the restaurant for a group?? There were tons of tables open that no one could use. Very very odd. That only can upset customers, while reducing profit because of less table turnover. Oh and did I mention this was before a Nebraska vs Creighton baseball game? The good: Very friendly staff Pizza by the slice Tons of unique topping combinations Twice baked pizza...wow The bad: Seemingly unprepared for tons of business Running out of silverware Waitresses with no change Empty tables while the place in packed (still shaking my head) That being said, I will go back time and time again. I'm dying to try at least half of the menu.

I had pretty much to opposite experience of hte other review- Good food but sheisty service.... I had the arugula (my only quibble was that the arugual was cooked - they should have just put it on last after the pizza came out of the oven - burnt arugula = not so tasty) walnut pizza and the islander (think hawaiian style) and liked both- tried both types of crust, decent price- lots of options n their menu- but there is no ala carte menu- so I am not sure if you can build your own pie here or not? that's weird if you can't... However- our waiter sucked..he failed to mention that there was more than one type of crust to choose from (someone else in our party pointed it out to him) and got a few people's orders wrong and messed up the checks- charging one persons debit card with another persons bill .... I'll update the next time I go

My friend and I went to Goodnights last night. I was impressed with the build out. We were going to sit on the patio but their furniture hadn't arrived and the weather was spotty. The interior of the restaurant wasn't a typical pizza place. They have a two sided bar with a wrap around patio. I noticed the bar stools and chairs in the restaurant were very nice... My friend mentioned that she was actually comfortable sitting on the bar stools... The bartender was great. She was helpful, funny, and knowledgeable about the menu. Its always nice to have someone behind the bar with a personality. The food needs a little work. We ordered 5 slices of pizza between the 2 of us. The Buffalo Chicken was probably the best out of all 5. However, the menu isn't updated and this pizza was not as it was described on the menu. The Thai Chicken pizza was different- It had a red sauce on it. It wasn't one of my absolute favorites but it wasn't bad. The BBQ Brisket pizza was the most unique thing. My friend really liked this pizza. The only one that i was disappointed with was the Bayou slice. I was expecting something like jambalaya on a slice of pizza. It came out with sausage and shrimp on it. However, it had a strange, salty flavor to it. I think it was over seasoned. Goodnights will be a hot spot in Downtown Omaha for sure. The staff that we encountered was very friendly, the facility is nicely laid out and it's very comfortable place. The music was a little odd... While we were there, we heard Brittney Spears, Lady Ga-Ga and Katy Perry... It was like eating pizza at the Max :) (I realize I'm turning into an old man) The food can use a little tweaking. I love the creative combinations of the pizza and I think, as the place works out it's kinks, it's going to be really good. Check this place out. The owner is local and obviously very smart.

They finally added salads to the menu about three weeks ago! So, on top of their incredible pizzas (last night I had the Island - pineapple, ham, cream cheese, cilantro, and something else, and the Thai Chicken - chicken, mushrooms, peanuts, thai sauce, and a few other things, I'm sure), you can also eat healthier there. Not that I did, but still - I appreciate that you can! Plus, their house chardonnay for only $4.50 (or was it $4??) worked just fine for me. Our bill for three drinks and a 16 inch pizza was around $32, but my friend and I each took home leftovers, so it wasn't a bad deal at all. We ate at the bar and had great service. I'm warming up to this place!

I got takeout and while it was good, I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. The original crust has a nice crispness to it and impressed me. The quality of the rest of the ingredients was fairly lackluster. Other than the dryness of the sausage, I wouldn't say any of it was bad, just not impressive enough to make me drive there instead of getting a similar pie somewhere else. I do like the option to purchase single slices and they're sizable. My favorites were The Island and The Chicken Cream Cheese. Maybe I'll stop in sometime if I'm already at the Slowdown or the new stadium. Maybe not.

This review is strictly for the bar only, as we were not there long enough to order food. Before the Kid Rock concert on Wednesday night, my sister and I were going to stop in at the bar for a quick beer and a shot. We arrived after the concert had started, so I'm guessing the crowd had thinned considerably. The bar was still busy, but by no means slammed. Customers hoping to order were only 1 deep across the bar. The bartender was nice looking with absolutely no idea how to work a busy bar. We waited 7-10 minutes (before we left) and she had yet to even recognize us (or the 2 guys next to us). During the time we waited, we watched her open cans of beer for 4 other customers, then proceed to mess around with the cash register when she finished. I'm guessing the service would have been faster if we would have stopped a waitress and ordered from her. The bartender was a total disappointment! Based on other reviews, it sounds like the food is good so I would consider stopping in again to try the pizza.

As a lot of people mention, I really wanted to like this place due its location. I've eaten there a few times now. Their chicken caeser salad is pretty good, but the rest was not so good. The pizza is ridiculously expensive and just not to my tastes. Globs of barely melted cheese; toppings are somewhat innovative but nothing spectacularly interesting. The atmosphere is nice although the place is always empty. Probably because no one wants to pay nice restaurant prices and get a mediocre pizza, and there are a lot of nice restaurants in that neighborhood. Really, I don't mind paying a premium for trend but they have to do at least a decent job on the other things.

My favorite place for a slice in the mid-west! I don't travel specifically to Omaha to eat here, but I never miss a chance when I am in town. The brisket pizza is second to none...

This place was empty when I went, which is a little unsettling when you're hoping for a good meal. I had the apple walnut arugula slice, which tasted fine, but I wasn't overly impressed with it. Mediocre is a good word for it. Also, at almost 6 bucks for one slice, I probably won't be coming here often.

I used to eat at Goodnights often and when I would tell people that the usual response was, 'really but the service is so bad'. I defended them every time until it started happening to me. FOUR times I have ordered a slice of pizza and each time it came out without the ingredients that is described on the menu. When I bring this up to the wait staff the response I have gotten, all FOUR times, was 'oh yeah, we are out of that' one time she even commented on how it was the best part of the pizza! By the FOURTH time I was angry and now I will not eat at Goodnights again. All I would ask is to be told ahead of time or for some concessions after I get a pizza that is incorrect by no fault of my own. I have emailed the company about this with no response and now I just hope we can say goodnight to Goodnights so I can have a goodnight at a different restaurant in NODO.

We went here the other night before a show at the Slowdown. The menu is completely salads and pizza - no other options. That being said, I like that it's simple and really focuses in on the pizza, which is nice and thin and they offer interesting toppings. I love pizza. What I did wish for was an appetizer menu. When you're making a night of it and want to hang out with a group it helps to be able to spread things out with some appetizers before dinner. Also, the atmosphere needs a little kick. It has a really plain, modern look, which is sort of appealing, but it just needs something to give it personality. We'll probably return when we're down there for shows or movies - the location can't be beat. I just hope they ratchet things up a little!

This is hands down my favorite place to get pizza by the slice in Omaha. The slices are big, so one is enough. They have unique flavor combinations, of which I liked the chicken & cream cheese and the margherita the best! Every time I've been there, I've been served quickly, and the staff has been great. The dough has a bit of a honey in it that is barely detectable, but when you catch, its awesome! Probably not recommended for people who are expecting basic pizza like Domino's or Pizza Hut. This is the good stuff!

Was fast and delicious! My boyfriend and I had to be at a show at the Qwest Center in an hour and we got our pizza in 20 minutes. We got to the show on time and filled our belly with pizza goodness :) The marinera is awesome and so is the cheese. We got a 14 inch signature crust pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I will be going back because not only the food was good but the service wasn't too shabby either.

Great location for events in the Century Link Arena or TD Ameritrade Park. It was clean and had a lot of open seats...during the peak time to eat dinner, which should tell you something. The pizza was very average and very overpriced for something I could have easily bought in the frozen food aisle. Do yourself a favor, skip this place, and save some cash by buying a frozen pizza.

I didn't go to the restaurant, so I can't say anything about the place itself or the service, but someone did bring a couple of pizzas from here for lunch. After looking through their menu online, and much debate in the office, we narrowed it down to Buffalo Chicken and Chicken Spin Art pizzas. The buffalo chicken is exactly what it sounds like. It was pretty good. I wouldn't put it up there with the Mattress Factory's buffalo chicken pizza, it just wasn't as flavorful, but it was still pretty good. The Chicken Spin Art pizza is basically like a spinach, artichoke dip on a pizza. Same thing as before, it wasn't as flavorful as I expected, but it was still pretty good. The ingredients on both pizzas seemed fresh and chicken was high quality. They have a lot of great sounding pizzas on their menu, so I'm excited to go there and try some more.

Pizza was really great! They have a lot of variety and you can order by the slice so you can try a few different ones. I had the bruschetta pizza and it was awesome, the balsamic glaze on it was different than any pizza I had ever had. Definitely check this place out. Great for pizza and beer.

First of all, the service was terrible, the pizza wasn't even good, and I had a hair in my pizza and gave me an ultimatum of half off or a different pizza. Are you kidding me? There's a hair in my food and you expect me to still pay half when I didn't even really get to eat it?! Shame. It was my first and last time.

Stopped in on a weeknight for dinner. Indoors was very open and clean, but very few people in there. It was a nice evening so decided to sit on the patio. We were the only ones outside. Service was quick and friendly. We each ordered an individual slice of pizza. I ordered sausage, onion and mushroom with red sauce. The pizza came quickly. The sausage was very moist and had a perfect amount of spice to eat. While the pizza dough was cooked perfectly....a little crunchy yet a little chewy...I didn't care for the sweetness of the dough. The restaurant itself is nice, the toppings on the pizza were great, and I love the outdoor seating...just wished the crust wasn't sweet. I'd recommend this place to anyone, as long as they don't mind some sweetness to their pizza crust.

Yuck.

We probably wont be back.. ever.

If that doesn't sound so appetizing, heed this and the other negative reviews and look elsewhere for pizza in Omaha.

burnt crusts, poor service, not for us.

Stay away.

    (1)

We probably wont be back.. ever.

Yuck.

If that doesn't sound so appetizing, heed this and the other negative reviews and look elsewhere for pizza in Omaha.

burnt crusts, poor service, not for us.
