Pretty Delish! They were great about trying different flavors, had an awesome selection and staff members with genuine smiles. Awesome.

Sample flavors were good, but MINT COOKIES AND CREAM GELATO! Need I say more!?!?!?! Everything I have tried there is good. 4 times in 1 week.

Delicious stuff! The consistency is great and a great flavor selection.

Really cool ice cream shop. They have a friendly staff and great flavors. By the time we left, the line was out the door. All of our ice creams were a little melted, but it was still delicious. We were traveling through and stumbled on this place. Definitely recommended!

My husband and I love this place! There's always a fruity flavor for him and some type of chocolate or sweeter flavor for me. :) Employees are always nice and don't mind giving you a few samples.

wonderful local place that you must try! I love all of the exotic flavors, like avocado. yum! My daughter loves coffee, and the sea salt caramel. The staff is awesome -- who's the guy in the glasses?? He was very nice and friendly and helpful when I went in with my daughters a few months ago. This is great any time of year, but really nice in the summer when you can sit outside. There are picnic tables around the corner or some benches along the street. I love the decor in the place too - really cool tile on the wall. A definite stop in Omaha!

I love most places in Dundee in general. After eating at the Amsterdam falefel shop, we spontaneously decided to get dessert since my daughter goes nuts for anything with sugar. Ice cream was better than any most boxed store bought icecream. Good location for a little ice cream shop in my opinion. My only complaint is the shop interior could look a little more cleaner..maybe re-model and paint it a bit? I dont know I tend to be a snob when it comes to the interior of restaurants and places I go to. Customer service was good. Everyone is very nice there. Four stars. Woohoo!

What a great find!! We found this place in the tourist magazine in our hotel and so glad we came over to find it! We had to drive through some shady neighborhood but on the way back to our hotel we went through a really beautiful neighborhood called Happy something. The shop is nice and bright, right on the corner. The staff was super friendly, probably tester their patience while we were trying so many flavors. Did you know they were part owners of ted & Wally's (another great ice cream place) but wanted to make the ice cream shippable so ecreamy came about? They make small batches to get the most flavorful ice cream and gelato. Their flavors change almost daily. If you use the yelp app and check-in you get a free sugar cone or a free mix-in :) They have half scoops! So I got a huge half scoop of Reese's PB Cup and a half scoop of chocolate! Chocolate is the way to go - it had this rich chocolate flavor that was so intense but milky and creamy. My favorite chocolate ice cream I have ever tasted. Definitely worth the drive across town!! For sure!

So before I got to Nebraska I checked Yelp to see what places I should try. As everyone in LA knows I am a HUGE ice cream FANATIC it was imperative to find a place that would calm my urge for this tasty frozen treat. There were two places I found worthy of such a title to call "My favorite ice cream" and eCreamery was one of them! (Ted and Wally's happens to be my other one) The fact that they had banana ice cream was PERFECT! It wasn't the "FAKE" banana either, you know, the one with the awful yellowish tinge, this banana was subtle yet banana enough to tell you it was the flavor. I bought two pints, one banana adding chocolate pieces to it and the perfect concoction they call "Shark Bait". Shark Bait had chocolate covered pretzels enveloped into a creamy salted caramel ice cream. Both were DELICIOUS! Another thing I liked about this place is the fact that you can customize the labels on these things for any occasion PLUS you can send them to people ! Oh and on the website you can make your OWN flavor. Talk about fancy huh. Just writing about this makes me want to head on over for a scoop...or two!

I get that "31 flavors" means having something for everyone but I kind of like the limited selection with freshly made batches that could change on any given day. Frozen concoction aficionados can choose their poison - ice cream, gelato, or sorbets. I am somewhat of a purist and like my ice cream without any toppings but those that prefer theirs to be dressed up will be happy with the selection here. Being that it was later in the evening, I was disappointed that both of my choices were sold out. I tried the Sea Salt caramel and again, the complicated textures and layers of flavor were simply not to my liking. I opted instead to flex my maternal rights and steal some of my kids' chocolate ice cream and I pretended to only taste a little bit of my husband's choice - 2 different types of fruit sorbet that were refreshing and not overly sweet. It got very busy and I was impressed with the cool (pun intended!) demeanor of the staff. Limited seating inside but several picnic benches outside make this a lovely spot for a hot summer evening.

I love this place! Fun atmosphere, great ice cream with creative and cool flavors! I love how you can make your own ice cream, and you can gift it to anyone you like, they ship! They have $2 Tuesdays which is perfect for a little taste adventure you wouldn't normally want to commit to and it's great for the kiddies. This place was also on Shark Tank, my favorite show of all time. You inspire me eCreamery, one day I hope to be like you!

  • Maureen B.

I find this place to be expensive and over-rated. The flavors are not that interesting and the sauce they use is not made in-house, which really surprised me. They use the same stuff that you get at the grocery store. For the amount they charge, I expect something better than what I can make myself.

  • Echo D.

Pretty busy long ass line but fast service. The ice cream was very rich and tasty. Even melted so good. I visited many ice cream places in yelp Never satisfied. But I definitely love this ice cream.

This is a nice place to come and replenish the energy spent while walking around Dundee on warm spring/summer nights. They have a fairly wide variety of flavors for gelato and sorbets. Being a fan of candy and ice cream, I went with the butterfinger flavor hehe. I also had some of the vanilla gelato which is always a good post-dinner treat. They were also very generous with the samples (we tried most of the flavors yum). Being right next to Amsterdam, I now have 2 more reasons to visit Dundee more frequently.

Went here on a weekday, during lunch, after a trip to Amersterdam. It was empty. I walked in and the guy behind the counter was very friendly. He was open to answering questions about the ice cream and offered samples. I had the chocolate cake ice cream (super good--if you are a chocolate person). Counters was clean, room was well-lit. It was seven bucks for a pint, but I think it was worth it. Seems like the ice cream is made with good ingredients and I like it more than the Ted & Wally's place people in the area seem loyal to (I'm not originally from Omaha). I had to pace myself and not eat the ice cream all in one sitting--it was that chocolatey gooey good. Parking is a little annoying around there, so I won't be there all of the time, but the next time I'm PMS-ing, I am definitely hitting up this spot for some ice cream! Watch out, I might run you over to get there!

Reasonable price for a date. Enjoying our anniversary and this was a nice treat. We went during the day when it was not busy, so we got to sample lots of flavors. Usually, if there is a line, they limit tasting to 2 flavors. They have the "best Vanilla in Omaha" rating, it was good ill admit. I got vanilla with a peanut butter mix-in. My DH got S'mores. They all tasted fresh and yummy, a little soft so it melted quickly. I would definitely do here again!

    (5)
  • Tim C.

Absolutely delicious soft serve ice cream. Definitely going back soon. They have an ice cream eating co test with 12 scoops in under 20 minutes. Need to go back and dominate this!

I had just finished what was an amazing dinner at the French Bulldog and begged the Husband to take me next door to the eCreamery for a frozen treat. Foolish on my part because my lactose intolerance is amplified to the nth degree by pregnancy. Still, I was feeling brave. Hubs got the chocolate ice cream and raved about it. I, starting to feel ill again from my dinner (totally not their fault, my IBS was kicking in) and stuck with the French Vanilla gelato. Super rich and packed with lovely vanilla flavor, I could only eat half. I've had better gelato elsewhere but the place is fun, in a great location, and when if craving gelato again, I would return...with multiple Lactaid pills.

Good way to top off the night after eating pizza??! (well anything) A good dessert place. Ecreamery is in walking distance from Pitch so my fam and I headed there for our after dinner sweet fix. When you walk in it looks just like any other ice cream, fro-yo, or gelato place. What makes this place stand out? Their unique flavors and the fact that you can actually create your OWN flavors with your OWN name for the gelato, sorbetto, or ice cream you create. They've actually been featured in several magazine articles and I think even chef Emeril made his own flavor too (don't quote me on that but i DID see an article with his picture in this shop) to make your own I believe it's $50 to order online and if you're in the area there's a discount. They have this special called the: DUNDEE DOZEN. 12 flavors of gelato, ice cream, or sorbetto with 12 toppings. We wanted the t-shirt that comes with it, so the mission was on!!! We chose: honey, vanilla, pineapple, banana, chocolate (2), vanilla (2), peppermint, pumpkin, carrot cake, and dulce de leche with a myriad of different toppings from strawberry sauce to graham crackers. yelp.com/biz_photos/BAcC… This dessert was delicious!! I loved that they had such different flavors that were rich yet just right where we wanted to keep eating even though we were getting full!! It was creamy & wonderful with every bite! I enjoyed the carrot cake & vanilla of course. we all ended up getting a shirt just to commemorate our attempt at finishing this doozy. I believe there was a scoop and a half left over. The employee working was really friendly and fun too! I'd definitely go back and maybe I'll create my own one of a kind flavor as well!!

DELICIOUS! A great variety and very affordable. I can see why they are so popular. I am glad we have a local store to visit.

    (5)
  • Tricia B.

Helpful staff and delicious ice cream make this a place I'd visit again. I stuck with some plain Cinnamon gelato in a cup, no toppings, to-go so I could enjoy it after my take-out dinner.

We came here on a weekend trip to Omaha. I found the place on Yelp and we decided to check it out. I had The Shark Bait, salted caramel with chocolate covered pretzels. It was delicious! The service was excellent and the store was bright and clean. I would go again!

I've had my fair share of gelato/ice cream/sherbet/sorbet; there is no lack of it where I've lived in both Southern and Northern California. While planning my Midwest trip, I'd done a lot of yelping to see what were good places to visit. eCreamery was at the top of the list. It was about 1330 on a Saturday afternoon and was surprised that the store wasn't that busy. The two gentlemen working were very friendly, offering their favorite flavors and telling me I could have as many samples as I wanted(sign on the counter said if it's busy you can only have 2 samples!). The passion sorbet was so good and refreshing and the praline pecan gelato was amazing. I was also told with the one scoop option, I could get two flavors. So ordered the Shark Bait(Sea Salt Caramel Gelato with Chocolate Cover Pretzels) and the Fried Ice Cream. The Shark Bait was delicious, though the pretzels seemed a tad mushy. I wasn't a fan of the fried ice cream. There were little flecks in it(the fried part) and the texture was just too much for me. The texture was like having coconut flakes mixed in and I prefer my ice cream smooth, with crunch or bite, not flaky. Check in on yelp for a free waffle cone or topping. There was some road construction going on in the area that made it a little confusing for this non-native to get around, but parking on the street was easy once found.

I hardly ever go out of my way to get to an ice cream parlor, but occasionally when I'm in the mood and I happen to stroll by one... eCreamery thrives in that sense, as their location is the perfect ice cream trap for the careless Dundee inhabitant. You just finished up a meal at Mark's and you're walking to your car... and all of a sudden, bam! it's, "I think I need some ice cream". You're walking home after happy hour at the Dell and, "whoops, how did I get into this ice cream shop?" Anyway, it's good stuff. If you accidentally find yourself here, go for the gold. The 'simple sundae' which sounds innocent enough, is a gigantic mass of sweet, sticky goodness. They update their daily available flavors on their website, where they also allow you to create your own flavor (for the low price of $49.99+Shipping per half gallon)... needless to say, I haven't done that yet. They also stock their ice cream at Patrick's Market downtown, and make the sweet potato cheesecake ice cream for Big Mama's too.

Charming, clean, and bright on a January night. Great place for homemade ice cream, gelato, and sorbet.

Yummy ice cream and excellent service. The ladies behind the counter were very patient with my sister wanting to try just about every flavor.

  • Isaac P.

I'm all for local businesses but this place is way overpriced and the ice cream is not that amazing. Not very good service either, bad training in terms of management. There might not be management here! You are better off going to Sonic or some other chain. This place is all hype, not substance. People in Omaha and Dundee have some weird urge to go here.

Do you know the difference between ice cream, gelatto, and sorbet? Well, neither do I, but, I do know that e-Creamery offers all three types in their eatery. :) When you walk in, the second thing you'll notice is the bright green tiling along the wall to your left. What's the first thing you notice? The freezer with the three different kinds of desserts, of course! In addition to that, e-Creamery boasts the Dundee Dozen! The Dundee Dozen is 12 scoops of a frozen creation topped with 12 different toppings. While I have never (and don't intend to, either) attempted the Dundee Dozen on my own, I was able to partake with my family when there were 5.5 of us. Still, we couldn't get the job done. I think we walked away from our previously frozen plate of dessert with about 3.5 scoops remaining. Don't get me wrong, this isn't your usual creamery with the lofty challenges. Besides offering customizable desserts (in personalized flavor names), e-Creamery offers really odd flavors that I would never have thought could be desserts. For example, one night, I sampled a Pistachio, Cranberry, and Goat Cheese flavored ice cream. Different, right?!?!? The staff here is knowledgeable and ready to make suggestions to the first-timer or undecided patron. My all time favorite flavor has to be their dulce de leche, but, the Big Mama's Sweet Potato Pie ice cream topped with marshmallow topping is pretty rock-star, too. Even in the dead of winter, e-Creamery is a great spot to frequent. Situated on the corner of 50th and Underwood, e-Creamery is surrounded by the best of Dundee - including the Dell. Wrap up a date night with something different from the folks at e-Creamery, and, I promise, you won't be disappointed.

Sometimes two words are enough to get you through a rough day (and well into the next week) without feeling sad. Salted. Caramel. Just get it. Really. It's not even worth wasting calories on the other flavors. But if you must, the cake gelato tastes more like a custard/ice cream hybrid. And pairs so well with cookie dough chunks. I love cookie dough chunks.

Yes. Love. Tried to come here once last year (I'm from Chicago) and there was a birthday party with 20 4-year-olds. I couldn't do stay in line, I mean....this wasn't Fear Factor. So then when I came back after a nice dinner at Pitch, I was elated to see that the place was all mine. The guy at the counter was so helpful and patient as I probably tried 4 flavors before settling on their strawberry white chocolate gelato mixed with cookie-dough. I like that they separate the counter from least fatty (sorbet) to most fatty (traditional ice cream), it makes ordering easier for the self-conscious. I also adored all their topping options. Portions and prices are reasonable. Can't complain!

  • McKenzie H.

I LOVE the eCreamery! The staff is SO friendly and they always have delicious flavors! Usually something unique and always an old faithful to fall back on. I wish they'd throw out some new, unique flavors! Always tasty though.

So I have never been here exactly, but my Boyfriend got me a gift certificate here for Valentines day for a custom ice cream. He was told on the phone the exact amount he should put on a gift card for me to successfully purchase ice cream that I custom made and have it sent to me in San Diego. Well, I went through step by step and did all the basic stuff to make sure I did not go over the gift certificate amount and it still did, by like $25.00. He was upset, and he had reason to be, he spoke with a representative and gave him false information. I did like how quickly it came and that we could make our own label but I did not like how that gift certificate situation was handled. I definitely will not be doing this ever again.

Great little shop in Dundee for an ice cream. We were there during CWS and they had some fun specials to go with the event.

  • Joel T.

Hey, ice cream for people who care how it tastes. Nice idea. Their arrangement and explanation of different "ice cream" types is helpful, something I haven't seen in other shops. Who knew an ice cream shop could be educational? Lots of people have discussed the wide array of flavors. I'm terrible at making decisions, so this aspect might be a negative for me. I can definitely see the appeal for people, though, especially those who live nearby and visit all the time. Weird turnoff: On their walls out in the dining area, they've posted magazine clippings and print-outs of articles praising them. That seems a bit much to me, but definitely better than pictures of clowns.

  • Shawn G.

Not the worst gelato I've had, but not the best, either. How do you not have chocolate gelato, though!? I understand that one might want to offer zany, silly flavors to spice up the selection a bit, but you can't do it at the expense of a classic! Then again, maybe I'm just crazy for preferring chocolate gelato over a bacon-flavored alternative. If I want bacon (and I DO) I'll have bacon, not gelato.

  • Lisa H.

We love eCreamery and we are so happy to have a great place to take our family for ice cream within walking distance. The staff are friendly and patient with indecisive little ones, offering several samples each. The flavors are always changing, so you never have to get the same thing twice, especially if you choose to add a topping or a mix-in. I love that there is an alternative of sorbet, which is a little lighter (my son LOVES the lemon sorbet). The super creamy gelatto is also a treat. The best part- it's owned by real people who live right here in Omaha, not a national chain. Can't think of anything I would change. Its a great corner ice-cream shop.

I recently visited here 3 times in one week (excessive, yes, I know). I first time, I had a Turtle sundae (hot fudge, caramel and pecans) with coffee ice cream. Pros: Ice cream was great, nice fresh whole pecans, real whipped cream CON: scant portion of hot fudge. I took my daughter and she had a coconut ice cream cone. I tasted it, it was really coconut, a bit too much for me but she loved it. When we returned several days later, she again had the coconut. The third time, she had cookie dough and I split a Sorbetto cone with my son. The Sorbetto was to die for. It was completely incredible. Especially for someone with diary allergies. Like a previous review that I made that was deleted, I again say I think the prices are a bit steep. Their "custom" ice cream is 50 bucks for a 1/2 gallon. OUCH! It's good but for that price I could buy an ice cream maker and do it myself. The service was great. The boys behind the counter were quite patient with the children who needed samples and couldn't make up their mind. I suppose they are used to it.

  • Lauren B.

A bad investment! Although the website was difficult to special order a gift, the service was great from the staff when ordering on the phone. It was disappointing that the ice cream was not tasty to the recipients who never have met an ice cream product they did not like. I do not recommend you order products for shipping and pay almost $25 a pint for their ice cream.

  • Kaai L.

Just went here tonight! Yummy ice cream with interesting and different flavors! In order to get good ice cream from where we live, we drive out here, but that's okay because it's worth it!

    (4)
  • Deb A.

I wanted to order a custom flavored ice cream to send as a gift, and I found eCreamery.com . Abby in their customer service department was awesome! She told me they were happy to make a custom flavor that isn't on their website (yes there was an extra fee for this, but totally worth it). I was even more excited to see I could make a personalized label! That really made the gift extra special. Besides all of the bells and whistles, the ice cream tastes amazing and the ingredients are very fresh.

With a familiar yet unique selections of sorbet, gelato and ice cream that changes every time I visit, eCreamery is great for trying something different and wonderful. Stand out flavors include: lavendar, pistachio and coconut, but I've never had a flavor I disliked here! Parking can be challenging at times but it's worth stopping here after getting the falafel salad and Amsterdam next door.

  • K G.

Sorry peeps but I gots to disagree with the majority. I think the ice cream is (wait for it...) a bit - weird. I know, I'm the black sheep here, but there's an odd texture thing going on and some sort of aftertaste. Plus - some kid accidentally hit me in the face with a balloon hat the last time I was there. (Yup, this is true, BUT it actually has nothing to do with my review. Just a PSA: kids, balloon hats and sugar is a dangerous combination, take my word)

    (3)
  • Patrick W.

Let's be honest, it's pretty hard to screw up ice cream. Having said that, I can't imagine how an ice cream parlor can earn just 1-2 stars. This place, I think, is right in line with most of the places around town. It isn't bad but its not great. It hits the spot but it clearly isn't on the same level as Coldstone or even the locally owned Ted & Wally's. I'm sure it's a nice treat on a summer evening if you live in Dundee but I wouldn't go out of my way to stop here. Coldstone, on the other, is a place I have driven out of the way to get to.

  • Phuong N.

Mhmmm, this place has some delicious frozen treats. I love the decor of the place, first and foremost. Parking can be a little tricky to find, but not impossible. As far as the frozen treats go, they have a variety of gelato, sorbetto, and ice cream. The first time I went, I went for the Passion Fruit sorbet. It was fruity, and a little too sweet for my liking but still delicious. The second time was even better. I had the Tiramisu gelato, which is now my favorite. I love this place because they change it up. They don't just serve the same flavors every day.

Went to eCreamery twice while we stayed in Omaha and have nothing, but good things to say about it. My husband, kids and our friends from San Francisco were all more than impressed. The flavor selection was excellent and we were able to try different things on each visit. I am going to take the kids one more time before we leave NE. It is definitely worth the trip.

I have used e-creamery twice for business gifts to groups clients. The ice cream was shipped to the east coast. It all arrived frozen solid. My customers loved the flavors and the personalized names we put on the pints. I just had to try the ice cream myself after their reave reviews. I found the ice cream to be rich, loaded with the add-ins, and creamy. I will continue to use e-creamery for gifts...and for myself!

  • Brenna P.

I stopped here one afternoon on a whim. Ice cream just sounded good at the time. eCreamery is conveniently located in an area of Dundee, which hosts several bars and restaurants. It looks as if they typically have about 10-12 flavors on hand at any given time. I decided to have a scoop of pumpkin pie ice cream in a waffle cone. The ice cream was good. It's not the best I've had in Omaha (see my review for Ted & Wally's). However, it's not bad either. Unfortunately, the price is probably what would keep me away from this place. My girlfriend and I each had one scoop in a waffle cone, and I paid something like $9 for both cones. The interior is cute, and their specialty ice creams are fun... but if I want ice cream, and I don't mind a drive, I'll go elsewhere.

  • Stefanie N.

What a big dissapointment this place is. While the decor is nice inside, the ice cream was not the right consistency (too soft). If you're looking for great ice cream / gelato...try whole foods.... I'm all for the local business, but this place couldn't cut it. Sorry but this would be my last option for ice cream in Omaha.

Lately I've had many cravings for ice cream and I've been finding myself at eCreamery. The ice cream is delicious, they also have sorbets and gelato! I've also been dabbling into the sundaes they offer. So far so good. They even have "The Dundee Dozen" which is twelve scoops of the ice cream. I think it sounds awesome and am currently taking offers to get a team together to devour this monster of a sundae. I cannot wait. The staff here is always friendly and nice. I also liked on one visit they came out of the kitchen to ask my opinion on a new flavor they were mixing up. It was of course delicious. Who couldn't love free ice cream!? Aside from all that the store is kept very clean and tidy and that's always important. Rumor has it you can order your own flavors and they will mix them up for you. Check it out!

What a delightful, cute, adorable ice cream shop in the heart of Dundee. I was visiting from out-of-town this weekend and a friend suggested this place. And I am so glad she did. So many options and all so tasty. Beat feet to this place STAT!!!!

On a night of firsts with a handful of Groupons, my girlfriend and I went here for dessert after a great dinner at Pitch, a restaurant just down the street. I don't remember what I had, but it was pretty good. Not fantastic, just good. I've heard some cardboard complaints about flavor and texture but that was not my experience....it was better than that. But, the price point is not justified by the product. I'll go here again if I'm on foot in the neighborhood. Otherwise, I'll probably hold out for Ted & Wally's or (gasp) TCBY.

  • Alexandria S.

Love the atmosphere and the location, but the lack of staple flavors is a bummer. Just when you find a flavor you love, they turn the selection over. The price is fine and the scoopini size is great.

    (3)
  • Sara S.

Great sorbets, interesting flavors, lots of gelatos. The coconut ice cream is to DIE-FOR. Liked the sea salt caramel as well. Decor is a little too much, in my opinion, and the atmosphere a little cold (no pun intended!). Service is just okay.

  • K F.

A perfect treat any time of the day! I love the following flavors: cake, coconut, lemon and mint. The best part is that you can order and ship this on-line to any place in the country. And, you can personalize the mixture and give it your own name! I've sent it a couple of times as a gift for special occasions. It's an automatic pleaser!

    (5)
  • Keith F.

Great friendly staff, fun atmosphere and delicious gelato! This is my third trip back, this time around I tried the Sweet Cream. Perfect consistency and mild sweetness. Worth the trip to Dundee!

  • Amanda S.

Pretty good ice cream, but nothing special. I've tried the blueberry-cabernet flavor as well as a berry sorbet. Both were good but not anything to write home about. If it's a hot day and I'm walking around dundee, I'd go back, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

  • S A.

I love finding good local places, and that's what this place is. It's Cold Stone Creamery - without being a franchise. Lots of great options for toppings, ice creams, sorbets, etc. A great location. I wish there was a bit more room for seating and the lines can get long, but, it gets the 5 stars instead of 4 for being fabulously local!

I had the rum raisin and french vanilla caramel in a sugar cone. Delicious. I also tried Big Momma's sweet potato. Pretty good. They sell varieties of sorbet, ice cream, and gelato. Minus one star because I saw flavors sold in prepacked containers that I wanted to try that weren't available at the counter. I'm not sure how often they switch up their favors, but I would've like to try passionfruit. Otherwise, the atmosphere of the place was really cute. Very colorful. And the menu board caught my eye right when we walked in. I wouldn't mind going back.

eCreamery = eDreamery, dreamy lovely decadent ice cream- love the dulce de leche- i buy the little cartons from PArtricks b/c its so Delish! (with a capital D) I make it out to the actual location occasionally. My recommendation: eat lunch at Amsterdams then hit up eCreamery for a small scoop and the rest of your day with fly by like a pigeon on a mission

I love ice cream, who doesn't? At first I liked this place but then I realized... it's not very good. It's so cute and at a great location, but I'd honestly rather get ice cream from the grocery store. I'm gonna go ahead and say that's not a good sign. It's also pretty pricey for the amount of ice cream you get.

this place used to be ted & wally's. but now it's not. so down one star! uh-oh. the ice cream is pretty good. i'll go here if i'm in the dundee area and i don't wanna drive downtown. i like the shakes. except for the last time i was here, i got chocolate on a white t-shirt. not that it's ecreamery's fault, i'm just still really sad about it.

This place rocks! It used to be Ted & Wally's at this location, and I don't know when eCreamery moved in, but it's great! I had the Dulce de Leche Gelato and hubby had the hot fudge sundae. The gelato was extremely creamy and hubby said the same thing about the vanilla ice cream. I had a small taste of his fudge, it was perfect. They also have "Sorbetto" (their version of sorbet) and a variety of $5 - $6 sundaes. The Cheesecake and Chocolate Sundae looked yummy. I will definitely return to this Dundee gem.

Let me qualify by saying I'm not really an ice cream fan, so go ahead and added an extra star for my lack of appreciation of this frozen dairy treat. What I do appreciate, however, is local business and a neighborhood family spot where it feels very America. I like that you can pop in randomly on a hot Saturday and ALWAYS run into folks you know (BTW, I NEVER run into folks I know anywhere else...even Costco)...that you see families, couples, kids hanging out and just having a nice time (again, very America)...and that they have that Dundee Dozen contest which has only expanded photos to two corkboards and not an entire wall (PS - no judgment since my daughter in on that wall and I know exactly how painful it can be to get there). Not too many flavors, so it makes decision-making do-able, which I appreciate. Nice decor. Good location. Friendly staff.

It's pretty good. We happened to be in the neighborhood on a Tuesday and were drawn in by the $2 Tuesday sign in the window. They had several different flavors, but honestly I thought they all kinda tasted the same. The girl who was working was very kind and humored me in trying just about everything they had. We settles on peanut butter which I believe was gelato. Although I'm gonna be honest I couldn't tell much of a difference between the ice cream and the gelato. They were out of the big cones so we got a cake cone. The ice cream was okay, but no where near my favorite. My husband felt about the same way. I'm glad I got to try it again, but I wouldn't make a special trip to go back again. The shop is located on the SW corner of 50th and Underwood if you're having trouble finding it.

Finally the fiancé and I visited this highly talked about ice cream shop! They were featured on shark tank. It's located at about 50th and underwood. We went about 9PM on a Monday and there was still a line to the door. Overall it's a smaller establishment, about 4 employees; with what the environment looks like you'd expect lively employees to match, but that is not the case. The employees just seemed like robots. Prices are reasonable, obviously way more expensive than store bought quarts. The hand made waffle cone is amazing, one scoop goes a long way. This is along the same type of atmosphere as Ted and wallys downtown. We will be back, great product and in a cozy area. Would recommend everyone to try it once!

  • Jessica F.

A good variety of flavors, they have something that appeals to everyone. There's always something new and unique to try! All of their product is made fresh in-house daily and the quality shows! Since the place is unique and only has one location, there is always a huge line and a little bit of a wait. Even with this being said, I felt like they were well staffed and were working efficiently! I also appreciate that their location is in Dundee, which is a nice change from everything usually being downtown. It's nice to be able to go and just hang out and not feel rushed by having a ton of people around you!

Is their ice cream good? Yes. But their online safety and security is NOT. I was prompted to create an online account when I tried to place an order for a Father's Day gift. To my horror, I received an email containing my login username AND PASSWORD to their website! What kind of uneducated technological failure could they possibly be thinking is good security practice?! The email was sent over the open internet, via an unsecured channel, to a popular online email service. Because anyone can intercept that kind of transmission, my account was instantly compromised...and so is YOURS. This is the kind of poor online hygiene that leads to data/identity theft. What is the point of a password if you just expose it to the internet, anyway? If you want your personal login information to be rendered vulnerable to online attackers, or if you want thieves to have access to your financial data, definitely make an online purchase via eCreamery. For me personally, no level of deliciousness is worth a data breech.

I love this location since it is a given that I come after leaving its next door neighbor. They have a great variety of flavours and different textures. My favourites are the gelatos. Just as good as any I have in NYC within Greenwich Village. I was blown away with Chocolate habanero gelato last night. It was so awesome. Reminded me of the chili chocolate I had in Europe. Unfortunately it was somewhat ruined by their congealed Hot fudge. How they cannot prepare hot fudge correctly is beyond me, minus one star.

Delicious. Quirky fun atmosphere. Ice cream was thick and rich, and as an avid chocolate fan I must say that the vanilla ice cream I sampled was pretty phenomenal. I went with the chocolate and their flavor of the day (Durham D'nile I think).

Why I chose to go here the day BEFORE Warren Buffet and Paul McCartney were spotted here is beyond me. It took me so long to write this review because I am still reeling in my misfortune. That said, there is a Yelp check in here for a free waffle cone or mix in, but I decided to save my offer for another time. I chose the chocolate banana gelato, and the flavor was a perfect mix of each. I think this is a great place to round out the night whether you have just eaten in dundee or are dropping by from eating somewhere else. In fact; I've rolled myself off the couch a few times just to get a late night gelato fix. They have really generous hours over the summer time and open quite late (11pm I believe?). The people working there are ok- not super friendly and a little stingy the last few times on my scoop! Otherwise though the pricing is pretty fair and I like their products. They have also implemented a lot more park bench and table seating along 50th and Underwood, which I think is fantastic.

I always stop by eCreamerie after I've finished eating at one of Dundee's restaurants. It seems like it's right in the middle of all the restaurants -- the sweet center. I love that they have both traditional flavors as well as innovative ones. I always get the waffle cone which I could even eat by itself and be satisfied by that. Every flavor I've tried, I've never been disappointment. I've even tried lavender-infused and I thought it was tasty. By far, my favorite is the sea salt caramel or the shark bait. A mixture of sweet and salty seems weird, but not if it's done right. Portion sizes are great (I can never finish all of mine for some reason), friendly service and great prices. If you love ice cream, you will love eCreamerie.

The ice cream here was great. I tried the sea salt caramel and loved it. The downside is the price for such a small serving.

  • Gerry F.

Great ice cream done by great local people. Not every day you see Warren and McCartney enjoying an ice cream together, and thats exactly what I saw when grabbing an ice cream here. Good range of flavors and styles, gelato, sherbert, and ice cream, with plenty of mix-ins, and AMAZING fast service. My heart is set on a hometown ice cream shop, and thats the only reason I didnt give a 5 star review.

I recently was back, as I had family in town and wanted them to try some Shark Bait (and fine I really wanted some too!). As usual the ice cream was delicious, and I will say the counters and tables were all clean, and the bathrooms didn't smell this time :') Delicious ice cream, and the family enjoyed it.

We had ice cream and sorbet. I would say average ice cream shop ice cream. Definitely better than chains but nothing extraordinary.

Very cool concept! A great place to get either gelato or ice cream! Ice cream is super creamy and voted best vanilla in Omaha! Prices are no different than other ice cream places. Check in and get a free waffle cone, ice cream not included. I wish they had some more unique flavors.

    (3)
  • Moira R.

This is still mine and my husband's favorite ice cream place in Omaha! They have had amazing sorbets recently, such as the cucumber sorbet which was one of the best things I have ever eaten! I love trying their unique flavors (and still love their trusty stand by - Shark Bait)!

Cleanliness 2 Service 4 Food Quality 4 Likelihood 4 1-5 (5 Best!) 3.5 It has been a few years since I was last here. We ate at Pitch tonight and stopped by eCreamery for dessert. Service was good. I am glad they now have ice cream. The mens restroom was filthy! Had not been serviced in a day or so, for sure. I am a big Ted and Wally's fan, I would drive out of my way to go there, this is within blocks of our home and this is our second visit in 5 years.

Finally, finally got to try eCreamery and was really happy with my one scoop vanilla/caramel sundae. Love the creamy, melty texture of the vanilla - filled with visible bits of REAL vanilla. Servers/scoopers were fast and efficient even if one of them seemed a little annoyed that my wife couldn't understand her when she asked how many scoops she wanted. It's loud and people don't exactly enunciate too well anymore. Enjoyed our treats on the benches on the sidewalk outside and will definitely go back for more vanilla. Very, very good.

I was drawn to eCreamery because my friend is a big fan of Shark Tank and wanted to check out the final product of a Shark Tank "deal." We traveled to Underwood in Dundee, and our first stop was eCreamery. We checked in on Yelp and were able to score a free mix-in. eCreamery allows you to try as many samples as you need to decide which flavors you're going to get. Since we had already been to Ted and Wally's in Old Market, we chose to get a gelato and a sorbet. The pink guava sorbet had a tangy pink guava flavor, but my friend liked the passionfruit mango so we chose the passionfruit mango sorbet and hazelnut gelato. We asked for cherry sauce as our mix-in, but they were out of cherry sauce and asked if maraschino cherries could be substituted. We agreed, and we asked the ice cream shop worker to only mix the cherries with the passionfruit mango sorbet. She ended up mixing it with both flavors, and honestly, hazelnuts+passionfruit+mango makes for the worst combination of fruit and nuts ever. The hazelnut gelato was a-OK, and had a nutty flavor that made me crave chocolate. But, it overpowered the fruitiness of the sorbet. The main clientele for this shop seems to be high school athletes and suburban mothers and their toddler-aged children. I was very disappointed with the product I received. The novelty of this shop is not in the quality of its product, but in the fact that you can customize an ice cream flavor, tack on a unique label, and ship a pint of the ice cream anywhere in the US. That's a novel concept, but the ice cream and level of staff's attentiveness we have in Chicago are far more impressive than eCreamery's. #jenissplendidicecreams #blackdog #scooters

I had the coffee and hazelnut gelato after coffees in Benson, and it hit the spot! eCreamery gelato was great - smooth and not too sweet, and while I have heard some hype about this place, I would say that it lives up to it. Would return for sure to try some more flavors!

Loved the variety of flavor of sorbet, gelato and ice cream - scoops were fairly generous. Went there with my teens & they commented on how fun and indie the place seemed to be. The employee working was pleasant but seemed like he resented our intrusion.

If dining in Dundee, leave room for dessert at eCreamery. Their ice cream is not necessarily to my taste--I'm more of a hard, icy-cold ice cream type of gal--but I appreciated the salted caramel-flavored "Shark Bait" ice cream I had in a scrumptious waffle cone. Maybe it's the candy and/or texture lover in me, but I was disappointed that the ice cream contained a few large chunks of the good stuff and that's it. I would have preferred the chocolate-covered pretzels be fractioned and more interspersed in the ice cream, evident in nearly every bite. But there's no denying the coolness (pun unintended) of this place. Definitely a must-try, especially if you prefer creamy ice cream over hard. Also available is gelato.

I got the turtle latte (too much coffee flavor, too little turtle flavor. My husband got some caramel one, And my dad got vanilla. All pretty good, nothing spectacular different than normal ice cream. It was definitely very creamy!

eCreamery is very highly recommended in my circle, so when a shocked friend nearly choked because she couldn't believe I hadn't ever been there I knew it was time. It didn't disappoint. I sampled a few flavors before deciding on the butterscotch gelato. Usually butterscotch is too much even on its own, but when it's done right it's da bomb. eCreamery nailed it! Sweet but not sickeningly so. I have come to grips with the fact that no establishment in America can truly replicate Italian gelato. But this was a good attempt. Nice texture and creaminess. My afternoon companion tried the blood orange sorbet, which we both liked as well. A nice variation from your usual fruit sorbet flavor. The decor is very bright and colorful, which makes for a cheery ice cream experience. It really livened up a cold Midwest winter afternoon.

This place has the perfect location on a street corner in the Dundee area. They were actually featured on Shark Tank, which is cool. Our group of four went to Pitch Pizza, which was amazing, and tried out eCreamery afterwards. They didn't disappoint! Their ice cream was creamy, fresh, and the varieties were tasty. I tried the strawberry cheesecake gelato and it was awesome as well. The prices are a tad steep at a little under $3 for a single scoop, but you pay for homemade, high-quality ice cream; and the scoop is pretty big. I will definitely be going back to eCreamery the next time I'm in Dundee!

Excellent local ice cream shoppe in Dundee. There is a rotating menu of ice cream, gelato and sorbet. The thing to remember is, all of the flavors are made same day. This mean if you get there late in the night, you may miss out on some flavors. Otherwise, eCreamery is an awesome place. This is one of my favorite ice cream spots in Omaha.

  • Will S.

A great spot to take friends, family or a date when you're out and about in Dundee, no doubt one of Omaha's loveliest neighborhoods. They always have plenty of new homemade flavors of ice cream and gelato to choose from which you can have stuffed with more toppings if you'd like, just give the clerk the word. As of late, they've even been featuring special flavors that are tied to local events and nonprofits. Pretty cool idea and a nice way to support the community in an original way. The interior is clean and a bit funky - but not funky in a bad way. More like a "My Two Dads" late '80s kind of funky. You know, kewl. Tip: If you're in need of a last-minute gift, grab a pint from the freezer next to the front counter. If you have a little more time, you can even order a custom name/flavor from their website: ecreamery.com .

I saw this place on Shark Tank and absolutely had to try them ASAP. We sample several flavors before deciding on a sea salt, camel chocolate flavor. Each and every ice cream and gelato we tried was beyond delicious. I'm talking super flavorful yumminess. It will hard to pass this place without stopping. I'm happy!

Omg, this place is so good! I called in a custom-labelled pint for my family, and a girlfriend and I went in to pick up my order and get a snack. The kid behind the counter recommended the coconut gelato, and it was an excellent choice. I basically licked my cup clean. My friend got a chocolate cone with sprinkles. She said she couldn't tell the difference between it and grocery store ice cream. *shrugs* The hubs and rugrats were super-thrilled with their pint. They love mint chocolate chip, so I got them the mint w/chocolate cookie crunch and a fudge swirl. It was soooo good!! They demolished it in about 45 seconds. The empty pint is still sitting on the table because the hubs is considering keeping it. Lol. He's special. :) It cost $12 for a custom-labelled pint and a scoop in a cup.

Okay, I may be a jerk, but I can admit when I'm wrong: And I was wrong. Wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I've been back a couple of times, and I've had some really excellent ice cream here. Forgive me, for I am only human. I dock one star only because I still have to compare to Ted & Wally's, which is still better.

Absolutely love eCreamery! Probably some of the best ice cream I've ever had! Sometimes the staff isn't super friendly but overall amazing place to be! Try the cheesecake gelato! It's wonderful!

I found this place on Yelp and knew I had to try it, since I'm always on the search for great gelato ever since my trip to Italy. This is probably my second favorite (after Coolato Gelato in Knoxville, TN). I sampled the white chocolate and it was really good. I settled on a scoop of honey and oats and a scoop of mint chocolate in a waffle cone and had more than my fair share to eat! Boy, is that some good ice cream! And the cone was free with the check in on Yelp!

Today I had the biscotti gelato. It was yum-ola. I appreciate the bench seating so I could sit outside. I had two scoops. It was a tad expensive, but a good portion for me. This place didn't blow me away, but I enjoyed it. Really good quality ice cream.

Love this neighborhood ice cream shop. Anytime someone comes to visit from out of town we make the short walk to introduce them to a great little treasure in Dundee. Make sure you check it out and TREAT YO SELF!

Great place for an after-dinner treat. They have a wide selection of frozen treats from including gelato, sherbet, and shakes, all made on site. It's a bit pricey, but tasted really rich and high quality. There are tons of flavors - my favorite was the cinnamon gelato!

    (4)
  • Jamie E.

Was so cool to see this Shark Tank biz in da flesh. The French Vanilla is SUPERB! Not basic or boring, many levels of flavor. I ended up getting the cinnamon on a sugar cone because they were out of waffle cones. Two huge scoops even though I only asked for one. Generous portion! Cute store, too. I totally get why this place is famous. It absolutely should be. Better than Coldstone or Baskin Robbins by far. Send their ice cream as a gift to somebody asap it is perf!

  • Jordan S.

We have visited ecreamery multiple times and I have never been disappointed! The shark bait is definitely a favorite of mine. It is in a great location and there is a lot of outside seating where you can enjoy your ice cream and take in the surroundings of Dundee. The prices are a little high for the amount of gelato/ice cream that you get but as a treat it isn't something that will keep us away!
