This is probably my favorite bar in Omaha. If you've been here, there's a solid chance you've seen me, some friends, and my dog hanging out on the couches or outside. The staff is always friendly, the Pils is always cold, and they always bring my pup a big bowl of water. Now, I've noticed that some people are saying the service leaves something to be desired, but it's honestly never something I've run into. Their beers are good, their whiskey is fantastic (the white whiskey is unlike anything I've ever tasted, and I've had my fair share of whiskey), the service is friendly and quick. We come here 3-4 times a week and never, ever leave disappointed.

We were greeted right away when we came in for a beer. Our server was very helpful with suggestions and even made food recommendations for nearby places.

I don't usually leave reviews. Just read others. I read many on this place and almost didn't stop. They have 24 beer taps. Some guest taps. Some small batch. Lots of flagship brews. Plus they have whisky and vodka. All made locally. The reason I almost didn't stop was solely based on beer selection. I thought the selection was much smaller than it actually is. I met the owner and chatted with him awhile. I also met a cattle rancher who takes the mash and feeds it to his herd. I like the environmental aspect of that. And I had a local meat and cheese plate that was delicious. All around great place to hang out.

This is very nice place to lay back and enjoy in-house microbrews. The place had a somewhat pub feel to it with loud modern music playing. This place has a nice sound system. Nice leather lounge chairs to sit back and enjoy your drinks and company. I tried their in-house single malt whiskey neat. It was not aged (clear in color). I thought the flavor was more akin to a tequila or a sake than a whiskey, but I really liked it. I've never tried 'moonshine' before, but I can see the attraction. I will come again and see if I can give it 5 stars.

We had an awesome time!! The bar tenders are great fun and customized a beer flight for us that was delicious and cold. The music was right on for the early thirties crowd. Marketing is a huge part of a brewery and this place delivers with growlers, stickers, shirts, watches etc etc... Have Fun!!

I had a sample of Borgata's Pilsner at a Yelp Elite event this past weekend and it was pretty dang good. I'm not a fan of most beers because I don't like that slap in the face taste of hops that a lot of beers throw at you. But Borgata's Pilsner was light and subtle. Borgata's Pilsner was a light and refreshing beer that is good for almost any occasion. The next time I'm looking for a light beer, Borgata will definitely be one of my top choices.

The jury is still out. Stumbled upon the place seven days after opening, so I feel like I need to wait a few months to revisit. Walked in and noticed straight away that the furniture was a bit awry. Perhaps because it was right before the holidays, folks felt the need to rearrange furniture to turn 4-tops into 12-tops and create conversation areas with the more comfortable furniture. As a result, lots of open space and high top tables sans chairs. Nonetheless, we managed to find a couple of seats at the L-shaped bar. A quick chat with one of the owners revealed that they're still awaiting the final OK to brew beer and spirits on site, but they're making do in the meantime. Not the most friendly chat ever, but can't fault him since he seemed to be quite engrossed with his family/friend supporters this particular eve. We'll see what occurs on our next visit. Enjoyed one, okay, more than one, beer cocktail called German Chocolate Cake with Tuaca, Frangelico, Buffalo Sweat, and Bitter Truth Chocolate Bitters ($6.50) that was oddly delicious. If you like dark chocolate, if you like coffee, if you like super-strong flavors, then you'll like this drink. Located in the old Second Chance Antiques Shop just west of Upstream. Easy to miss, so keep an eye out. Service was slow, but immediately recognized by the bartender who not only recognized, but apologized via a shot of whiskey (apology accepted). Nice ambiance. Great cocktails. Reasonable prices. I want to like this place, but am on the fence. Will definitely give it another go, as this place could be THE go-to, but will need more seating to live up to its potential.

When I first checked out the old market area after moving to Omaha, this was the first place I stopped in. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar area. The bartender was great and very engaging. He was happy to answer all questions and give suggestions. If I could remember his name I would gladly give him a shoutout. I have been back a since and the experience was the same as the first time even though they were busier. I recommend checking this place out.

I really like Borgata's beers and my husband is a huge fan of their whiskey. Plus, it's amazing to find a place that serves locally distilled whiskey. Enjoying craft whiskey in Omaha first time since the Prohibition days? Yes! I also love the atmosphere. It's got a college-professor's-bar quality to it. Great comfortable leather chairs and a few fun things like darts and a popcorn machine (?). Next time, I'm going to figure out how I can get myself some of that popcorn!

Been coming here for a while. The staff always remembers regulars and are friendly and knowledgable about their product. The alcohol selection has always been great whether it is their genuine craft beer or liquor and the prices are fair. Wine, food, and domestic beer selections are mediocre but this is a bar/distillery/brewery so if you came here for Michelob Ultra or Chateauneuf-Du-Pape with a beurre blanc lamb chop dinner you are unfortunately in the wrong place so don't bother leaving nasty reviews.

Borgata is a relatively new addition to the Nebraska craft beer scene. I've been here on two separate occasions and enjoyed it both times. The atmosphere and decor are upscale and the beer while good, it's as good as some of the offerings at Benson, Infusion, and Lucky Bucket. However, I will say it is better than Storz and maybe even Upstream. Due to the fact that I enjoy good and frequently visit the Old Market, I am sure that I will be back to Borgata.

I'm not sure what this place is trying to be? A bar? A place for VIP parties? Part tasting room, part hang out for frat boys, awful, loud music and lackadaisical staff. I had been anxious to try this place, but I left feeling confused about what exactly is going on. First there was extremely loud, pounding hip hop and country blasting out of the speakers on the patio. No problem, we will sit inside. Except there is a couples baby shower going on inside and the music was even louder!? Okay, back to the patio. Took quite a long time for someone to come take our order. We sampled all the in house brews. They were just okay, there wasn't one that jumped out, or that I wanted a full pour of. We also tried the white whiskey. I love whiskey, I drink it frequently, and I don't believe what I drank could be considered whiskey, it tasted like tequila and Everclear. That being said, it's all what your palate enjoys, I could not drink this on the rocks as I had originally ordered it. It gave me flashback of bad decisions made in college on a similar concoction. After the server returned, and had mine converted to a citrusy- martini thing, I could stomach the elixir. My husband left most of his 'whiskey' in the glass as well. Maybe in a few years, when it has had some time to age, I will give them a try.

Came across this place by chance on our way to dinner. I get excited when I see places like this popping up downtown. Loved the vibe of this place, dark with exposed woodwork and brick, dark brown leather seating plus a buffalo head over the door was a neat touch. I was surprised to see this place is not only a distillery and brewery but they also have their own wine?!?! I am not a drunk so I wasn't able to sample them all in one sitting but I did have their whiskey in my Omaha mule which was tasty. Service was great, we were greeted almost immediately after sitting down and checked on regularly. Fun music, but it was controlled by patrons in the bar plugging it into the juke box, lucky for me the patrons tonight liked tupac, notorious BIG and jay-z!!

Both times I have been here the service has been totally lacking energy and even disorganized. Example... I watched a young bartender take an order from four guys. He looked at the written order and said to them, "Wow, this is going to take a while." Not exactly confidence inspiring! Then he entered the order in the iPad system before making anything. Yo... make it and THEN bill it. Those guys were going to be around a while. I went to another bartender. That dude looked at me and the three people lined up with me several times (while just being conversational... not doing anything particularly). THEN, he finally took our orders. The beer they have is excellent. The beer they brew is just okay. The cocktails were excellent as well. The space is also very nice. If they fix the service, this will be a great place. Our next stop was Borgata, and I slid back below whelmed. Initially, I was excited to check this place out -- a brewery _and_ a distillery? Yes please. I feel that the craft/local distillation movement is going to raise up in the next couple of years, but the time-delay in getting aged spirits to market will generally mean that quality distilleries will pop up at a much slower rate and will take time before they can create quality product. The idea of this place seemed to hit on the best of both worlds -- craft beer for an immediate product, and distillation for a future product. And it may yet, but just like Real Estate is all about location, dining and drinking is all about service, and we barely got any. I do have to say that the lounge area where we seated ourselves was pretty comfortable. The interior of the place has a general "industrial" feel without going overboard, and it's coupled with a bit more modern and sleek look by incorporating the giant copper stills behind a glass wall (though, with what I know about distillation, I cannot imagine how hot it must get in the dining room if they fire those up during any service time). The lounge chairs and couches were comfy and the half-bourbon-barrel with a slab of glass atop as a table was an interesting piece, but again service was the real issue. After waiting for a bit we decided that the best way to get drinks would be to send a retrieval party to the bar to bring drinks back (Well, that's not the best way, but waiting for a waitron wasn't getting us anywhere). Even at the bar we waited quite some time to be noticed and served. Somewhere during our first round of drinks, we did have a waitron notice that she had about eight people hanging out on some chairs, and she stopped by to see if we needed anything, but before we had a chance to query and respond, she was gone again... and thus we retrieved our own second round. The beer itself was serviceable -- I had an oatmeal stout that was fine, nothing outstanding, but eminently drinkable. I was less taken with the pale ale I used to follow it up. This is the seventh of a series of ~13 reviews about a weekend getaway in Omaha.

Enjoyed a delicious pilsner from Borgata this weekend and was absolutely not disappointed. Pilsners have been my go-to brew for quite some time, and I've really enjoyed what I've had - Czech, Polish, Belgian, German - so I was thrilled to see a pilsner at a recent Yelp event. Light, crisp and ice cold from the keg - I enjoyed two cups. Just a good, balanced Pils that's refreshing and flavorful. Light and crisp are key for me, and Borgata surely delivered.

I really like the ambiance of Borgata, and would really like to be able to give it more stars. They have a good selection of beer cocktails and regular cocktails. I had the French 75 tonight, and while very good, I have had smoother ones elsewhere. Their beers are fair. My husband likes their IPA. The pilsner on the other hand is so-so. We like Borgata a lot better now that they have a wider selection of their own brew. Major gripe? They charged for "on the rocks!" My hubby ordered their whiskey and they charged for ice. That is potentially enough to keep us from going back.... Update: we have heard that the rocks charge is due to the drink being a double pour... If this is in fact, true, will upgrade a bit. And... Now called Brickway due to some naming issues.

My husband and I visited this establishment with some friends from Kansas City around 5pm on a Saturday. The decor is great (minus the tripping hazard that is the table made from a barrel and glass -- probably not a good idea to have around people who are drinking) and the beverages are decent, but I can't say much for the music or the service. Super loud, 80's-era, hair band music on a Saturday afternoon -- really?? And the service...no one bothered to come and take our order even though the place wasn't busy nor did they even clear the glasses or checks from our table left by the previous customers for over half an hour -- you do work for tips, right?? I could say more but that would just be piling on...I'm willing to try this place again but given the fact that service has apparently been an issue here for at least 4 months, I certainly won't go out of my way to do so anytime soon. Perhaps the most disappointing thing is that my husband and I contributed to this establishment's Kickstarter campaign last fall. Had I known the owners' lackluster philosophies on service and ambiance prior, I never would've given them my money. This place is a gold mine, I just hope the owners get things under control here soon.

Their beer is really good! The IPA is the best. Really nice decor. But, the music was horrible. I don't know if it's like that every night, but It was a trip back to 90s hip hop. I feel like the music didn't fit the aesthetics. Overall, nice place and great beer. The atmosphere was a little thrown off by the music selection. Also- Go to LivingSocial to get their deal. For $29 you get 2 glasses, 2 beer flights, 2 whiskey drams, 2 pints of beer, and a growler. It was nice to taste their beer before selecting what we wanted for pints. livingsocial.com/cities/…

To sum up my experience here, I would have to say that I was really disappointed. Although I can't agree with another reviewer regarding the "speakeasy" feel, (it's not...though it is very urban in an older building with high ceilings and exposed brick) the space itself is gorgeous. The problem is with the service. Our group of 8 or so Yelpers from KC joined a couple of friends from Omaha and tried to have a couple of drinks here. When we entered early on Saturday evening, it was probably 85 degrees inside. After about 30 minutes, the air was turned on. Thanks for that, otherwise we probably would have left sooner. We had to order our first round of drinks individually at the bar, as apparently there were no servers working. When a server did appear, she was not interested in being friendly or personable in any way. She came by and picked up some empty glasses and turned to walk away, without even asking if anyone would like another drink. As far as drinks go, they had a couple of beers on tap, and although they had an "ok" selection of beer cocktails, from what I tried they were mediocre and not well executed. Overall, this is a beautiful space in a great area... If they choose to focus a little bit on the importance of good service, they might succeed. Otherwise, there are a multitude of better options in the area.

I like what they did with the place. Very cool. Service is always great, and very helpful informing you of what is on tap, etc. I tried the "Omaha Mule" & I really liked it. Love the free popcorn :)

The very helpful and friendly bartender served me a dirty root beer, which was pretty much amazing! My husband had a flight of hoppy/dark beers and really like it! Only reason for four stars instead of five is I was hungry and couldn't munch on much. I'm sure the meat and cheese tray is great, but not in the mood. Go here. It's cool!

This place is awesome! I love the decor, it is very inviting and intimate with great tunes playing (The Head and the heart). Great craft cocktails, speakeasy style. I didn't get a chance to try one of their beers but I did try the Pilsner and it was really good. They also have an eclectic variety of micro brews on tap. The owners were very nice and personable. I can't wait until I can revisit this Omaha gem.

This would be a GREAT PLACE to open a Brewery/Bar. We have been here a couple times. Last night will no doubt be the last! They were NOT busy, 3 waitresses casually chatting it up behind the bar, eating and NOT waiting on tables. Is this place self serve were you go up to the bar to get your drinks?? The waitresses would actually look at us or other tables, walk by and just keep on walking. We had NOTHING on our table. We spent 2 hours there and had ONE tasting and then FINALLY got a beer. It was like the waitresses had no clue what or how to wait on a table. Could be an awesome place if you can figure out "service!" As for beers.. the Triple and Heff are both very good.

Went there Saurday afternoon for the second time. When we got there the place was full, turns out they had an Omaha Brewery Bike Tour that happended to stop ther a few minutes before we got there. The service was as good as it could be with the volume, we went directly to the bar to make an order since all 3 people working were running around picking up/washing glasses or taking orders. Seems like they have fixed the service issue! The beer is very good, they currently have 4 styles; Pilsner, Oatmeal Stout, Hefeweizen, and Pale Ale. If you have to choose one I would recommend the Pilsner or Hefeweizen depending on your beer style preferences. Not to say the other two aren't good, but these are better IMO. We didn't try the cocktails, because I'm a beer dork so if I go to a brewery, I have a hard time not getting their beer. As most others said, the bar looks really cool inside. The big still in full view, comfortable seating, nice L-shaped bar with quite a few taps and a large liquor selection, and a nice patio out front.

Bad service. We weren't greeted when we came in and guy behind the bar/server was very cold. Didn't offer any suggestions and didn't check in with us to see if we were doing ok. Won't be coming back here.

Pretty cool Brewery in the Old Market Area of Omaha! My first experience with Brickway Brewery came earlier in the week at M's Pub, when I enjoyed a can of the pale ale of there's it was a smooth nice 3pm beer! So on our last night in Omaha we decided to go grab a drink at the actual brewery! We sat down outside in the little patio area and no one came to serve us after 15 minutes, so I went in an made an order of the Pils. It was good, but not as good as the pale! The bartender was not busy at all when I went in but it was pretty packed! Lots of tv's and tables it was pretty nice! They also sell whisky to go! After I went back outside we had a server coming out all the time to check in on us so that was nice! This is a pretty nice brewery and on Saturday night it was pretty packed. Cool place, not out of this world cool, but good, and decent beer as well! I would go back! Ps I dig how they sell the cans in 12 ounce variety and they sell a variety 6 pack! That rules!

Another cool stop here in the Old Market of Omaha! We needed a place for some liquid refreshment and Brickway provided just that. What caught our eyes over other places was the "distillery" in their name; and we actually got the whisky and vodka flight! Excellent choice! It came with three whisky samples and one vodka. Each was good in its own right. We walked away satisfied with their offerings and purchased a bottle of their "aged" whisky. While not the caliber of an actual Scotch, this is a very good domestic whisky!

  • J L.

Stopped by for my first visit today. Based on the other reviews, I was not expecting much... And, my expectations were met. The decor inside is beautiful, but, I don't go to a distillery for the decor. I tried both their new make, and their "aged" whiskey. The new make tasted exactly as another reviewer described it, tequila and Everclear mixed together. The aged whiskey, had obviously been aged for about eight days with oak chips; No nose, no complexity, terrible. I had one sip of each and left the rest on the table. With such a burgeoning craft distillery movement happening nationwide, this really have could put Omaha on the map....unfortunately, based on the product here- we will continue to be unknown in the craft distillery market.

I was a HIGE fan of this brewery. The vibe is a great Restoration Hardware feel with some hipster flair. The whiskey was fantastic the afterburn was tolerable and left a great enjoyment to taste. I also liked the pilsner I ordered a ton. The selection is great and I loved that our wedding party group was easily able to hangout together at tables in a section of the brewery. Very accommodating to groups. My first server was fantastic and he had a well groomed curly mustache. But, the woman server we had was fairly rude and not friendly at all. Also, the scent inside was a little offputting.

I've been to Brickway several times since it opened. I have to say the beers just get better and better as the brewery matures. And I'm looking forward to trying its first batch of five year whisky in a few years! While I haven't been wowed by any of the IPAs at Brickway, they're still consistently good. Plus, there's always something new on tap, even a few select choices from other breweries. Oh, and I have to mention that their "brick six" pilsner promotion -- you buy a sixer of Brickway's pilsner at the store and there's a tear-off coupon for a free beer at the brewery -- has totally worked on me. Speaking of their pilsner, it's a tasty, light and smooth drinker. Perhaps even their signature beer at this point. A lot of people have mentioned inattentive service, but I've never encountered that. However, I've only ever sat at or ordered from the bar. Brickway is only going to get better and better over the years. If you want a pint of local beer brewed right in the Old Market, check it out.

  • Mike S.

Again, I will try to make this simple. Borgata had to change the name of the brewery. It is now going as Brickway Brewery and Distillery. Being open for just more than a year they are on track. I think they push their beers harder than Lucky Bucket and are trying to saturate the market. You can get the Pils on tap at M's Pub, Crescent Moon, and almost anywhere downtown. The Pils was the first offering I had and it is their best. Tha isn't saying much because I don't think a Pilsner should be your showcase beverage. I stop in due to the proximity it shares with me and my work. Sometimes the Happy hour is better than others. I like the vibe, but at times the music is loud. Not everyone wants to hear the bartenders favorites. If you are a hipster you probably heard some of it, but for me, I like casual conversation and enjoying the company of friends

I like to wave at the staff at this place after waiting for 15 minutes and getting no service and then leaving. Staff was just literally standing around. This place really needs to reexamine itself.

Heard about Brickway (used to be Borgata) from a friend and decided to try it out on a Sunday evening. I got the Omaha Mule which is their version of the moscow mule made with white whiskey. I also tried the Shooting Star cocktail. Both were pretty good - probably enjoyed the Omaha Mule more but that's just a taste preference. Brickway is a nice change of pace from Old Market's usual homey bars - more of a sit down and enjoy a drink with a date or a group of friends type of place. I'll definitely be coming back and trying some of their craft beers!

  • Love W.

I've been to Brickway three different times now, so I felt it was appropriate to write a review. I'm just not that impressed with the establishment. The beers are by far better than any of there distiller liquors, but is still honestly mediocre. Most of these stars come from the fact that dogs are allowed inside (very cool and progressive, even though my pup has yet to go). The decor is good and they host a trivia on Tuesday which is fun. They also have some light snacks from local places if you get the munchies while you are there. Overall, if you haven't been there's no reason not to go, but I can't say I love the products they're trying to sell.

I am embarrassed to say I broke one of my own rules here - I just couldn't bring myself to leave a traditonal much less excessive tip :( One of the only joints open at 10pm on a Wed night, we were thankful the night didn't have to end early, but weren't thrilled with much else! Our meat and cheese plate was prepared by unwashed hands from a lazy bartender who oozed disappointment at our existence... The clientele were primarily lumbersexuals, crowded around the bar and sitting in the comfy chair area. Nothing negative there - just an observation. It seems they all knew the staff and I can only presume it was a different experience for them. The bartender, Amber, eventually wandered to our table after we had begun wondering if we were supposed to order at the bar, and we ordered drinks. I asked about cider and was informed that they had a 49% cider, 51% ale mix - I'm not sure who they are marketing that to - cider drinkers and gluten-free folks will both be out of luck. When drinks were delivered we had heard from a 3rd friend on his way from work, so we asked if it was too late to order the meat and cheese board listed on the chalkboard. Amber grumbled about having just turned the oven off, but said she would turn it back on for us. Eventually our friend arrived, and probably 20 minutes later gave up and went to the bar to order a drink and the food. We were plenty visible as the only occupied table in the entire place, but I guess she choose to ignore our new arrival. She grumbled again when he ordered because she had apparently turned off the oven! I had given her my credit card, but when she slapped his beer on the table she said "that's $17" - just seemed odd since she had an open tab on the table and could have politely inquired if he wanted to open his own tab, or if he was covered... and for the record, this was a man in uniform who has served overseas. A little respect people (even if you aren't supposed to drink in uniform). So the bad part was we watched her make the food. I guess the few slices of bread were warmed (hence the oven), but everything was handled with her unwashed hands. Couple slices of salami, 3 slices of sharp cheddar, some bread, a large slab of butter, and an unidentified chutney. Not even remotely worthwhile compared to the cheese plates available nearby, and we were all too hungry to concern ourselves with the lack of hygiene. Amber rarely dragged herself away from her gaggle of friends to check on us, and it seemed to be more of a social outing for her than a job. The clear whiskeys they distill but don't cask age aren't much to rave about, and the beer menu, service, food, and prep technique are seriously lacking for a bar that is so visually appealing! I love the brick walls, seating area, giant copper casks, etc. Wish I could say something else positive, but at least they hired a good decorator/designer!

Last brewery stop of the weekend on my tour of Omaha's craft beer scene. We hit this up Sunday morning right as they opened at 11:00am. We were the first there and for the first 45 minutes we were the only ones in the joint. Brickway originally opened as Borgata but due to a trademark issue with an east coast casino they had to switch names. This is a brewery and distillery only (they do have pretzels and you can buy a meat and cheese tray but that's it for food). Located about three doors down from Upstream Brewery in the Market District. This is another great location where they took an old building and refurbished it into something modern. This is really about the beer and spirits though so don't come in expecting too much in the form of TV entertainment. They have one behind the bar but that's it. Like some of the other small breweries in town they seem to be building something special here. I had both a cream stout and an imperial IPA and both were fantastic. Something in the future to look forward to is that since the distil their own spirits you will be seeing some sort of barrel aging program down the road as well. I look forward to seeing where this goes in the future. Like I said above, we were alone with the bartender for a while and that gave me some good one on one time with him about the brewery, and the overall craft beer scene. Even though he was the bartender at Brickway he was not shy about telling me where some other craft beer hotspots were in town and even advised me of some beers other breweries in town were doing. It's good to see that even though they are competing against each other they still support one another as well. Very good brewery and I really think they will be doing some great things as they continue to roll out more beer and begin to barrel age. Absolutely recommending a stop here if in town.

Awesome. Great brewery and great location! The inside is great. It has that Old Market feel while being modern and classy, not just an old brick building. You can see the still when you walk in, towards the middle of the main area. I'm assuming the brewery is located in the back, behind closed doors, but I'm not sure. The bar is really nice and they have a great selection behind it. First and foremost, their own beers are awesome. The wner really made a step up from his previous company's brewing. Borgata's Pils pilsner is great and I'm glad places here are starting to serve it on tap and in cans. Their stouts and IPA are top notch. Hefeweizen is good but I'm just not particularly a fan of the style. Their whiskey is amazing, I can't beleive it's distilled right here. Good selection of scotch and other whiskies also! Came here on a Sunday night and it wasn't too busy but we kept the bar full. Localmotive foodtruck outside really gives this place the 5 stars they deserve.

I WILL NEVER BE BACK TO THE BRICKWAY. I will preface this review by saying that I go to the brickway often. I have never once had a bad experience until last night and it was once one of my favorite bars in Omaha. The night started off okay. The bartender was a blue haired chick named Amber. It started off SO boiling hot in that bar. Amber said there was a bartender who was always cold so the heat was on so they would turn the AC on. Thanks! My friends and I ordered 3 cosmos and she at first said "we don't serve those here." Wait... Do you have vodka? Cranberry juice? Triple sec? Amber then realized what we were asking for. No big deal. It was loud in there. There was a rude man at the bar that seemed to be friends with Amber who said something along the lines of "do they realize this is a brewery and they are ordering cosmos?!" We laughed and sat down... One of my favorite parts about the brickway is the TouchTunes they have there. We tried to get it to work and it was not accepting any of our credit cards. We tried the app too and it didn't work. We asked Amber if it was on and she said it was and to try again. It wasn't working, so while another waitress walked by we asked her if maybe they needed to reboot it. This waitress was very kind and helpful. Amber came over and rebooted it and essentially said it has to do with the company that owns TouchTunes and there was nothing she could do to fix it. I understood and appreciated the 2 free credits she gave me for the inconvenience. We went back up to the bar for another round of cosmos. That same rude man earlier goes "what are we in sex and city? Who am I? Charlotte?!" My friend then responds "no, you're more like Miranda." The bartender, Amber was also heard saying "oh it's THESE people again" I was pretty bummed about the touch tunes because I always play music at any bar in omaha that has a touch tunes. My friend went to the atm down the street to get me cash so I could use the machine. I put $20 in and decided to play some Britney Spears. Reason behind this is I am getting ready to see her in Vegas and I wanted to set the tone. After a couple songs I noticed the bartender up at the bar, TAKING SHOTS, laughing and skipping each Britney Spears song that was playing. This really annoyed me, mostly because you could see at the bar while she was slinging back shots with some man while skipping each song and making fun of us. I went up and asked if she would be giving me my money back because that is $20 wasted. Amber said no and that it's okay to play maybe one or two britney songs but not that many and she can skip whatever songs she wants. "You cleared out my bar!" is what she said to me. How insulting. I told her repeatedly she was being rude and she didn't care. Maybe the reason her bar was cleared out is because she was being a drunk b**** I don't care WHAT business you work in, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness. I don't care if you're a female, order cosmos at a brewery and play some girly music... Don't be disrespectful and rude! We met up with some guys at the Tavern afterwards (because you best believe we left after this ordeal) and they said they had a bad experience with this bartender Amber as well. I can tell you it is a shame, because I do enjoy the brickway and have spent quite a bit of money there and have been going there since they first opened as the borgata. My two friends and I will never be back and I will be telling all of my friends, family and coworkers to NEVER go to the borgata especially if Amber is working! EDIT: please read Blair W. review below mine. It seems to confirm this entire review as he was the man buying Amber shots and insulting us.

Amber and her waves of grain are amazing. She is the best bartender ever. Also, her tattoo sleeve of zombie Mario characters is pretty great, although, she has an unexplainable Britney Spears fetish and plays her entire greatest hits album. Great atmosphere with many beers to choose from, highly recommend!
