Brick Oven Pizza makes slices! This is what first enticed me to come. I saw their small sign near Nebraska Furniture Mart on 72nd. The Shaunesy couple are a patient and long working team who have a great thing going. Their double size is huge with a drink at a reasonable price. The Hawaiian and Chicken pesto have bitten our buds but next time it will be something new. Thanks for the welcome change in the 900 degree brick oven. Oh yes! Forgot to mention the good cookies -

What a gem. A true diamond in the rough! This place has HUGE slices of pizza and very unique specialty pizzas. There are not many places in Omaha where you can get a authentic margarita pizza. The owner is a character and has so much passion. I was told they use organic ingredients when available.

Happened upon this place one day while running errands. Their simple sign on 72nd caught my eye and I tried them out. I'm glad i did! The food is awesome. I had the meat lovers slice and was not disappointed. Very cool family run vibe. No, it's not fancy inside, so if that's your jam then go elsewhere. But if you like great pizza served up by nice people, then this is the place for you.

My wife and I happened upon Brick Oven Pizzeria while trying to go to another business. It was the best mistake we've ever made. I LOVE their pizza. Never had a bad one. The choices presented, from sauces, to toppings and finally with types of dough are almost exhausting. They deliver late, even on weekdays, are open late and are very quick. The service has always been outstanding (we've been going about a month or so now). The owner/chef is always in shop, and willing to converse. It's an incredible experience I now recommend to everyone I hear talking about pizza.

First things first The menu boards they have to display the pizza on are very hard to understand because each letter is written in a different color. Very confusing for a new customer They have options for pizza by the slice or specialty pizza. Basic pizzeria options. 5 or 6 options for appetizers. We tried the bread sticks that came with 10 and cold marinara. I like cold marinara with hot bread sticks (NOT) We had a x-L pizza half buffalo hot chicken with alfredo and half cheese. The pizza was alright, nothing to rave about to my friends. Homemade crust but not the sauce. What really upset me was that I overheard the owner in the back yelling at his cooks about something they did wrong. F THIS AND F THAT. F bombs flying everywhere. I have children and I didn't appreciate that at all. I'm sure everyone else heard the harsh words he used towards his staff. Terrible just terrible Nice open kitchen to see and hear everything you do. Bad representation of your restaurant buddy. I won't be coming back

The food and initial service was pretty good. Our cashier was friendly and helped to explain the menu. She also looked up some allergy information as my wife is allergic to msg. However, as we were waiting for our food to be ready we read some Yelp reviews and noticed that the owner of the business has a tendency to curse in the kitchen. A couple minutes later a man came in through the back and started complaining about his day, fairly loudly, and definitely cursing a lot. It made us a bit uncomfortable, and we jetted out of there as soon as we got our food. Hopefully the dude gets his stuff together otherwise people are not going to want to hang out in this place. Good calzones though!

Atmosphere and food are both lacking here. I wanted to like this place - I have heard good things and it had a family run atmosphere. The inside of this place is really lackluster. The floor is concrete, the decorations are odd and sparse & the restrooms are downright creepy. These are all things I can overlook easily tho if the food is great or even good. This was not the case. We paid $25 for a 12" pizza and some fried ravioli. The pizza was simply pathetic - soggy crust and hardly any toppings. The supreme was billed as having double mozzarella but it had less cheese than hardly any other pizza i have ever ordered from anywhere else. The fried ravioli tasted baked instead of fried and were just mediocre. I will not be returning.

Tried it for the first time today. Pizza has a crisp thin crust, plenty of sauce, and lots of delicious toppings. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. One slice filled me up and my girlfriend couldn't finish all of hers.

This place is UH. MAY. ZING. This is what I have been searching for in the desert of bland boring pizza land. The crust; light, crispy. The sauce; zesty, tangy and a little spicy, so so good, I want to pour it all over myself. The toppings are plentiful and flavorful. We got pepperoni/mush/pepperoni/sausage. Both sides were delightful. Right amount of ingredients, each ingredient outstanding on their own and it passed my final test: the leftover test and passed with flying colors. It tasted great cold and heated up. I love this place and feel like I will now be happy in Omaha. Tell your friends, write reviews, order it up, don't let this place be unknown it needs to stick around forever and become a staple around here!

Found out about Brick Oven on Yelp, had some good reviews and is getting another. Owner and staff was very pleasant. It was nice to see the owner and how passionate he is about his craft. Dining area wasn't fancy by any means but isn't necessary because pizza was great fresh and just as good as leftovers. We had a basic pizza with Italian sausage, hamburger, and pepperoni. Pizza was great and crust was just as good. We're looking foward to trying a Specialty pizza next visit. Brick Oven Pizzeria has earned a top 3 spot on our list of pizzerias in Omaha.

Our first time on February 15th with our 5 kids. Very friendly service! Pizzas were AMAZING!! The extra thick triple dough was to die for, the chunky sauce they have and the cheeses were wonderful!!! We will definitely be going back! We want to try the state fair crust next time, they said they actually deep fry it, Wow!! Lots of menu choices and thought they were very reasonably priced and it worked perfect for our kids, they all like different kinds so it's GREAT that they do pizza by the slice!!! And they are big slices! Perfect Perfect place to go for Pizza!!
