I haven't eaten at Boston Market since I was a kid, and that's because I absolutely hated it as a child. I pass by here every day, so I figured I might as well try it again. I was pleasantly surprised, the food was pretty decent and I left with full stomach. The prices were a bit high, but you do get a lot. The dining room could have used a wipe down on a few tables, but that's my only real complaint. I might actually come back here.

I have driven by this place several times and always wanted to give it a try. Their logo says "home style meals" so that's what drew me in. I knew it was a fast food joint but I was expecting the food to taste a bit more home style as the logo claims. I like the set-up in the sense that you can order a "family style meal" versus ordering each person meal individually. The rotisserie chicken was actually pretty decent, especially considering we are taking about fast food. The stuffing was pretty flavorless, I would honestly prefer some stove top made at home. The Mac and cheese was pretty basic. The sweet potatoes were good, but then again it's pretty hard to mess up something that is topped with marshmallows. Cornbread was decent, not bad but certainly not the best. The staff were incredibly friendly, even making some casual jokes in good taste. Overall I think this is a good restaurant for fast food, I just wouldn't consider it "home style"

I can't believe nobody has added a review since 2011 !! I have been an avid customer of Boston Market in Omaha almost since the chain came to Omaha. ( It used to be known as Boston Chicken) We had more Omaha locations then, but sadly it has been just this location for a few years. The staff is always friendly. If you get to be a regular, many of the staff will get to know you by name. The pipped in music varies is style and volume. They have taken to real plates and flatware which they carry to your table for you. Take out is a big part of their business too. You can see them rotisserie the chicken on big rotating spits behind the counter. I am prejudice to the dark chicken. They have a 3 piece dark on the menu as well as dark or light one quarter chicken. When you order a half, they are supposed to give you just that, but they are often accommodating to let me have all dark. You can often get "half white chicken" as well.. They offer sandwiches and Chicken Pot Pie made on the premises., Their meatloaf is my sister's addiction. They offed Ham for Thanksgiving and Christmas. They will offer a ham meal this Easter weekend as well. They do have other seasonal offerings also like Wild Caught Pacific Baked Cod for Lent. The most offered meals include your choice of two side dishes and a corn muffin with your drink at additional cost. Side dishes offered include mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, spiced apples corn, green beans plus other options that don't trip my eye. The coffee, soda, flavored ice teas, lemonade are pricey, but all you can drink while there. I guaranteed you that I have forgotten something you would write about. They claim to offer free WiFi, but I have never been able to get the benefit on a couple of different phones over time, so I marked WiFi NO. I do recommend you sign up for their "VIP Club". It is free and if you provide your email address, various offers and coupons will be sent. Some of them are okay ... some are excellent ... especially if you are wanting them to cater. Check out the advertising collection of coupon section in the Sunday World Herald. Coupons are common but not every week. Their website also often offers a coupon. BostonMarket.com Twitter activity daily but I've not benefited from it: Boston Market @bostonmarket They also have a location in Lincoln, NE on N 48th St, but that is a different review.

Boston Market is Boston Market - Delicious chicken and sides, if they have not been sitting too long. This location did not disappoint! Great customer service was much appreciated.

I've loved Boston Market since they opened, and have been coming to this location when visiting relatives in the area for 10 years. Now I moved to this area this summer and have since visited several times in the last few months. If you like fast casual dining this is a great option. They put a high priority on good service here. It's more expensive than fast food by a buck or two, but way less than a sit down restaurant.

OMG....Never been in all my years of life, not many to count, but still great place, sweet potatoe casserole is so yummy.......mmmmmmm chicken is a little dry, but the meat loaf is moist and yummy, the brand of lemonade they carry is also tasty, nice place for dinner or lunch...priced reasonably as well...

Boston Market is basically fast food meets comfort food. You can order things like rotisserie chicken and meatloaf and get sides like stuffing, macaroni and cheese, and mashed potatoes. I believe the industry calls it "fast casual" but that is just marketing spin for what is still basically fast food. Boston Markets used to be all over, but they suffered the same fate as many chains that expand too rapidly and ended up closing many of their locations after going through a bankruptcy in the late 1990s. There were even owned by McDonalds for several years. I was shocked to discover that there was still a Boston Market in the Omaha area. Food is good. It's not great. Also, it's not terribly consistent. Sometimes it tastes like it was just made and sometimes it tastes like it's been sitting on the steam table for several hours. Their Rotisserie Chicken is "fall off the bone" tender, but tends to be overcooked (breast meat is moist, but the connective tissues have all broken down so much due to the extended cooking that the breast meat has an unpleasant texture). There's something about whatever they sprinkle the outside of the chicken with that when combined with the juices from cooking makes the skin sticky. If you touch the skin while eating the chicken it WILL stick to your fingers. It tastes good, but the stickiness borders between comical and annoying. Meatloaf is good as I recall, but it's been so long since I ordered it that I won't try and review it from distant memory. Sides are decent. Their Fresh Vegetable Stuffing really seems to vary in moisture level and texture. Also, they tend to undercook the vegetables in it, so you're crunching on those. Generally I like it. Macaroni and Cheese (spirals and cheese would be more accurate) has changed over the years. It has a sort of freakish orange color to it now that I mostly find disturbing. The Garlic Dill New Potatoes are my favorite side and most excellent. Service is friendly and certainly a notch above most other fast food restaurants. If you're dining in they serve the food on real plates with metal silverware. I don't know why as using disposable plates and silverware wouldn't really alter your dining experience any. They do this thing where they carry your tray to your table for you. I appreciate the gesture, but mostly it's just awkward. The dining room isn't crowded or especially large and I am not feeble, so there's certainly no need for them to assist. So, immediately after ordering I want to fill my drink but I cannot because an employee is holding my tray and waiting for me to choose a table. So, I have to skip getting my drink, then I feel pressured to hurry up and choose a table. After all that I can go back to the counter where I was and finally get my drink and condiments. Like I said, it's a nice gesture but mostly awkward and unneeded. If it was a full service (slow food) restaurant I might rate it two stars as I've certainly had better of this type of food at other full service restaurants, but since it's a fast food restaurant I have to temper my expectations accordingly. So, when eating fast food you could certainly do a lot worse. They sell decent food at decent prices with fast food speed.
