Probably the worst sesame chicken I have ever had dry, very little chicken mostly batter, sauce tasted like barbecue sauce for some reason. Crab rangoons tasted very generic, like a cream cheese wonton. No crab. The restaurant was clean, but empty. After finishing my meal I can now see why I was the only one in the restaurant. Would not recommend.

Walked in to get take out the guy was extremely rude. The food was not good. I got general tso. The crab ragoons were okay but the chicken was awful. I think I even got food poisioning and was unable to go to work the following day. The guy that works there should not be so rude.

On a recent road trip to Chicago after getting sick & tired of eating McDonalds twice in 14 hours we decided to look around for a Chinese place along the highway & came across Bo Bo. Bo Bo all I can say is you made a freakin Boo Boo out of my daughter & you get one star for making my poor child puke out of her wits. It was lunch time & as far as I remember we ordered 2 entrees & some soup. My daughter only had the soup. Food was okay tasting except that the soup had that stench where a cook like me can tell that someone is mixing their meat chopping boards with their vegetable chopping boards. Either way we had hardly hit the road for 10 minutes & lo & behold my daughter started vomiting. Not to mention I had a queasy stomach as an after affect as well. So thank you but no thank you.

Should have been 2 stars, but I'm feeling generous..... :) Basically, my four experiences at Bo Bo have been Good Bad Good Bad (Today) The good days were made up of Kung Pao chicken. The bad were General Tsos and Ta Chin Chicken. I think I will push my luck again, but only if I'm in the mood for their Kung Pao Chicken The silver lining in all 4 visits was the rice. A lot of places screw rice up, but they do a decent job. I give their fortune cookies 1 star as they are never correct.....

For the price the food is great, hot and flavorful. They will make whatever you want. Service with a smile and the owner runs a tight ship. Carry out business is hopping.

Great service! Love the vegetable lo mein and great veggie egg rolls... Kung poa chicken with all-white meat is awesome. Very accommodating to vegetarian. Recommend Veggie lo mein and veggie egg roll. I've been going to this place for years and highly recommended.

I've been going to Bo Bo China for 2 years now and I have never had any bad food experiences. The food is always fresh and ready for you in under 10 minutes for takeout. The dining experience is also very nice and the food is fast. Their prices run about $6-$8 a dish, but they do give you a lot. I always get the peanut butter chicken and I've never been disappointed. I honestly think that their PB chicken is the best in Omaha! Some of the employees have been cold and disconnected in the past, but that's only when I've gotten takeout. If you get a regular meal, they give you rice, 2 crab rangoons, and your dish in a hefty serving! It's definitely worth the money. I've been dying to go back. I've recently moved to Midtown, and I can't find anything to top Bo Bo China's food. I drive the 25 minutes to get some great food! Their egg rolls are extra, but trust me, they are worth it because they're huge and packed full. I've also had their lo mein, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken before too and I could never complain. Their sauces are on point and their portions are perfect!

Stopped here for a quick meal of Kung Pao chicken and for about $6 I received a good portion of food plus 2 complimentary crab rangoons. Very fast service and friendly wait staff. Will definitely come back here again when I want Chinese food.

We have visited Bo Bo China several times now and it has yet to disappoint. Okay, well once it kind of did, but I just learned that Chef Bo Bo does not specialize in Mongolian beef. So if that's "your dish," find another restaurant, and then tell me about it! I am still on the hunt for my go-to Mongolian beef in Omaha. Bo Bo's peanut butter chicken features a silky sauce with tons of flavor, perfectly coating the chicken and garnished with chopped peanuts. The chicken is crispy on the edges with a tender bite. My son and I usually split that entree or we order it with his favorite of sesame chicken and eat it family style at home. This location seems to do a large amount of takeout, but they do have a fairly big dining space. The decor is nothing special, but if they did any major redecorating or remodeling they would probably jack up the prices anyway. Their pricing is affordable and the food is good. We will return.

Worst restaurant experience ever!!! The waiter was a complete jerk. He talked down to me the whole time like when asked what vegetables were in a dish and if I could have it spicy. I ended up ordering the seafood delight. When I got my food I first try the shrimp and it did not taste good it tasted fishy and like it wasn't fresh. So then I tried a scallop and I felt the same way about the scallop as I did the shrimp. So when the waiter came over to check on us I told him that I didn't like the food and it didn't taste good. He then tried to justify everything and told me that that is how it always tastes. My boyfriend asked him if he would get me something else and the guy looked shocked and said for free?! And my boyfriend simply said yes can you please trade it for something else. Then the waiter just argued some more and said would you like to order something else but not for free. I honestly was not trying to get free food I really just didn't want crappy food that I had and he was being very disrespectful. Obviously he was trying to not accommodate us in any way. And yet he still continued to tell me there was nothing wrong with the food so I simply asked him do you always argue with your customers. He then glared at me and started copping an attitude so I told him I'm simply telling you how I feel about the food and giving my honest opinion. So when he brought the bill he told us he talk to the manager and had the meal taken off even after he left the food sitting in front of me at the table the entire time. Also before he left the table after bring the bill once again he got in my face and said there was nothing wrong with the food and it's been the same for 10 years. By that time I was pretty pissed off and I told him there is no reason for you to disrespect me and get an attitude with me is this really how you treat your customers! So as he was walking away he said something else rude and I just said don't worry I'm never coming back and he continued to have an attitude shaking his head and putting his hand up in the air and then walked back behind the counter talking shit about me to his other coworkers where I could see him. I am definitely never going back there ever again! So if you want good service I highly do not recommend this place!

I've been there dozens of times and each time I get Peanut Butter Chicken. Whenever I see Peanut Butter Chicken on a menu I try it and Bo Bo has the best I've ever tasted. The portions are great for the price you pay and the service is very fast.

I really enjoyed my first experience here. Our food came out rather fast - which was surprising because they were pretty busy. They have a really nice selection and the server was super nice, as well!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
