Pretty cool local hang out and as a complete out of town stranger I was warmly welcomed and had shots bought for me by a couple of regulars. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the bartenders. Don't be shy to try this gem in the ruff. Full Liquor decent beer selection and above average bar food.

Came for the wings!! WINGS WERE GREAT! No breading but fried and then drenched in sauce!! Yum! They make their ranch and blue cheese from scratch which really added to the flavor... can't beat fresh. Oddly enough, this is a great place to bring the kids because they have individual booths with TVs in each. So my kids turned the channel to Disney-- and it made for a pleasant dinning experience. My kids loved their kid's meal... because it came with a warm and gooey chocolate chip cookie! And the manager at the restaurant (Pat) is extremely nice-- which adds to a pleasant dinning experience! Oh and I loved the chairs! Comfortable seating!

The only remaining building from the earlier Peony Park. What a relaxing lunch. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, old school music and old school chairs... nice. This place was unexpectedly family friendly. The kids moved to their own booth, which was equipped with their own TV. This place is so laid back with totally friendly employees, I'm sure they have a lot of regulars. The jalapeño burger was yummy and the hot wings were prepared jet the way I love them, crunchy with delicious hot sauce. YUM!! I'll be back for a huge order of hot wings. Be sure to try something that needs salad dressing, because the blue cheese and ranch is homemade yummy!!

It's been quite a while since I have visited Big Red Keno, but went on a friends suggestion. I always thought they had good food at a good price and so I was OK with that. Sat down to order after plugging in a few keno tickets and waited, and waited and waited. Finally we got the menu and I ordered some coffee (that would have to be made). The prices have certainly gone up since the last time I was here. We both ordered the steak sandwich (as that is what I had always had good luck with here) and it turned out to be as good as ever. Piled high with meat, cheese and mushrooms (no onions for me) it was very satisfying as were the waffle fries that accompanied. We waited quite a long time for our check also. I realize that the extra attraction of the keno causes most people to extend their stay for hours, but a server should be checking up on the table a lot more frequent than what happened on our stay.

This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I have ever had. Our server was rude, ignorant, and wouldn't take any blame for her mistakes. It took an hour for our food to come out when we were one of only three tables in the section. She rarely checked in on us and we were constantly left waiting for her to simply stop by the table to see if we needed anything. My burger was burnt to a crisp, the fries were soggy and mushy, and on top of all of this, the food was cold. We also saw our server sitting at the bar and talking to people several times, so there shouldn't be any excuse as to why our table was neglected as much as it was. The whole restaurant was slow for our entire stay, and after our experience, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand why. The entire restaurant should be ashamed as this is not what a business should strive to be like. There are other bars I would rather be at, so thankfully, I will not be coming back.

I visited the Big Red Restaurant at Big Red Keno on a Wednesday evening. My family of 8 decided to get together, but knowing the restaurant didn't take reservations I called to inquire how busy they might be, and if pulling tables together for 8 would be a problem. The person that answered the phone was very friendly, and even assured me that he would get a table together and put a reserved sign on it. Very nice. Big Red Keno is a fairly large place, and overall seemed clean and organized. Our waitress was awesome...very friendly, funny and helpful. I want to say her name was Stephanie, but not 100% sure. I ordered the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was less than $10 and was actually pretty tasty. Others in the group ordered chicken fried steak, burgers and wraps. All enjoyed their food, although the burgers weren't a great hit, but just "okay". Obviously not expecting 5 star food, but I can say the food was good and very reasonably priced. Service was great and had some fun playing keno while eating. Good place to eat without breaking the bank!

I am sad to say that since my first review Big Red is not the same. The service is always good- but the food has moved down to just regular bar food. I guess all good things come to an end. It is shame and I will never understand how a place can make great food and over night some new manager changes things back to just food that is forgetible. It is not terrible- just not great.

Nice low key place to watch sports and play keno but the service is very bad. We waited 20 minutes to get a waitress and had to go up to bar ourself, an no follow up on drinks, and waited over 45 mins for food. No Idea where the waitress went...

The food is delicious, and the drinks are priced great. The food is fairly inexpensive, and the waitresses are very nice. You can have a very good meal, and a very good time here. I would want everyone to try. Not your typical bar food.
