We had General Tsos Chicken, Beef and broccoli all with lo mein. It was all pretty tasty. The sodas we ordered were kind of flat though. Not a bad place for delivery. Fourth star given because of the extremely easy online ordering system on their web page. Cash credit and PayPal are accepted.

Hot & Sour soup was very very sweet, could not finish. Pork egg rolls tasted of rancid oil. Sweet & Sour Chicken was ok. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but I will not go back.

Consistent quality for the 5 years I've been going, and they deliver to the Benson area, which doesn't have much else that will. Have never waited longer than they've told me, always had warm fresh food, always correct order. Not the best chinese food I've ever had, but in the realm of cheap take-out compared to the plethoras of other options, this is my midtown/benson/north o favorite. Have recommended it to other businesses I am friends with and frequent on Maple St. and they have all been satisfied customers as well. They must all know my face and my bar name by now because of how much I yearn for their crab rangoons.

I love this place. I live just down the street from here so most of the time we go in to eat but sometimes we'll order online and get it delivered. The sesame chicken is to die for. It's so good, it's really unlike any other sesame that I've had before. For the amount of food you get the prices are definitely resonable. My husband and I come here so often that the staff knows us now. The dish called amazing chiken is also really good. It's a little spicy but not too bad. Just enough to give it a little kick.

Food was good, prices are good, portions good, and friendliness of staff was pleasing. I ordered General Tsao's and crab rangoon; nothing about it screamed to me that this was an exceptional restaurant though. Soup comes as part of the meal, however if I have any complaint about my first visit to Asian Wok, it's this: Due to a mix up with the group in front of me, they ended up recieving my rangoon and soup. I asked the workers behind the counter about it and they said they'd prepare more rangoon and soup for me, however in the end they only gave me my rangoon. I didn't want to bother them over my complementary soup for a second time, so I gave up and decided to enjoy the parts of the meal I did recieve. =\

Quaint little place. Straight forward Chinese food. Had the specials and amount of food typical. Nothing special other than good egg rolls. Several types. My family took ours out, and it took an expected time to be prepared. Overall, a dependable place to eat. Priced okay. I would go again.

Overall, we enjoyed our meal. I think the prices are high but the portions are huge. Plenty for day two meals. We ordered Crab Rangoon, shrimp egg rolls and potstickers. The Crab Rangoon were good. I liked the addition of green onion. Couldn't really detect any crab though. The shrimp egg roll was really good. Nice balance of veggies and shrimp. But the other two diners didn't like them. The pot stickers were just okay. They could have been from trader joes. Nothing special. Standard dipping sauces. The egg drop soup was some of the best I've ever had. Rich broth. Textured with bits of chicken, corn and egg but still simple. One of the main reasons I'd go back actually. My brother got the Kung Pao beef. Loaded with beef and peanuts. Good amount of veggies and came with large amount of fried rice. Could have had some veggies in it but it was fine. My daughter got tofu and vegetables. Lots of tofu. Nice assortment of vegetables and really good flavor. She was very happy. I got the pad Thai. The noodles were cooked well. Nice flavor. But hardly any shrimp or chicken and not one piece of beef. It was advertised as having all three. No tofu. A few shredded carrots. Disappointing and at $9.50 it was basically noodles. My main issue is that it did not have the ingredients stated on the menu. I wanted some bean sprouts, cilantro. Maybe a lime slice but again, overall, the flavor was good. I ordered on line. Beware, they charge extra if you order online which makes no sense to me plus a delivery charge which is fine. It was about an hour and the delivery guy was super friendly. Honestly, we would have tipped more but with four dollars in delivery and online charges we only tipped an additional four bucks. That combined with the extra charges totaled 20% of our bill. Which is also a bit high for delivery. I mean, no one's coming in to plate it or clean up after all. I'd definitely tip big for clean up! Overall, I'd try it again on a night I don't want to cook but I'd pick up the phone next time!

This place has good food at average prices. The most exceptional thing I have found so far is the egg drop soup. It came complimentary with a meal on our first visit. It was so good I go back just for the soup now. Its especially nice for a snack after some thrift store shopping since its right next to Thrift World. Good food, but over priced. Order was messed up with delivery, but they corrected it. It was just a little frustrating.

Asian Wok is a friendly Chinese restaurant that my boyfriend and I frequent often. We love their service and the food is by far one of the best in Omaha. It's cooked to order, always fresh, and the service and pricing is always great. We like Szechuan beef and General Tso chicken but if that's not your cup of tea, ask the staff and they will recommend a good option for you. Staff is always courteous and friendly! You won't regret going here!

We had dinner here yesterday and have a few other times as well. I really like it. The service was friendly, the food was very tasty, and the atmosphere was okay. I had the special which was Vietnamese Grilled Pork over Vermicelli Noodles that had vermicelli noodles, pork, lettuce, cilantro, shredded carrot. It was very good. I also had the Egg Drop soup that I loved. It had bits of corn in it and has to be one of my favorites at this restaurant. The prices are in the proper range. I will definitely go here again.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
