A wonderful stop downtown for coffee, tea, or a snack. Situated in the heart of the Haymarket downtown, this is also a perfect spot to go for pre and post downtown events. Shop is warm and inviting with a mix of traditional coffee shop vibe and an industrial feel. Coffee here is amazing!!!! Staff is super friendly and fast. Love Scooter's coffee!!!

A great place to grab a cup of coffee and catch up with an old friend. Comfortable furniture abounds in this coffee shop. Prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly.

Every time I go in there I order a simple brewed coffee. And every time, they start pouring it out of a newly brewing pot, so that it's the first run which is overly strong - this also means that the rest of that same pot is now too weak for everyone else who orders from it. I have explained to multiple employees there why this is a bad thing, and yet it keeps happening. I will never go there again.

I love coming to this coffee shop when I'm in town. The staff has always been friendly, and my drinks are always made with care. They have a selection of about 25 whole beans you can buy in bulk, too. It is a comfortable atmosphere with seating spread out so you can sit with friends or find a quiet corner by yourself.

My newfound favorite: breakfast blend --medium roast tweak at its finest!! Definitely converted from the Starbucks hype! The feel of the place isn't dripping with mainstream swag, rather dripping with exuberance for the upcoming day! The staff greeted me, and all other patrons, with a genuine smile -- not the pretentiousness that abounds at the other place... The hay market location gets all 5 celestial markers! (And the coffee is really good!)

The good news is the iced coffee managed to taste strong and coffee-like after throwing 6 shots of espresso in it. Whoever thought making a light roast iced coffee was a good idea should be quartered.
