I was recently in Lincoln, NE for business. Just passing through. I currently live in San Diego but I grew up in Texas and to be fair, I miss go old fashioned hole in the wall bars that make you feel welcomed. It is not posh, it is not fancy, it is not "proper." The fact is it shouldn't be because it about being a place where hard working folks can come have a beer and complain about their day or celebrate an end to the day see their friends. Tons of great conversations I had that night and I even thought about maybe moving to Lincoln for a little bit. Good people, plus the price of the beer there was much more affordable than my California rates. Shit, I paid for three gallons of gasoline in Cali and my other choice was a beer. At the Road House I could buy everyone a drink in the house for the cost of a full tank in my truck. So I did! I found out that the owner frequents the place and even bar tends from Time to time. Wish I could have seen him so I could tell him that my faith is renewed in humanity. See you all next time I come out there!

Great space and a lot of tv's. The Moscow Mules were excellent and good pricing. They had a burger and fry special for just $3.50; others in our group tried it and enjoyed. We would have liked the AC to have been cooler as was pretty warm inside. But we will definitely go back.

Wow!!! What an amazing place to be. The beer garden is by far one of the best and the food is simply the best bar style food around. Definitely recommend it!!

The cheesesteak was amazing, drinks were cheap, and the people were very friendly, next time I pass through town I will definitely be going back!

This is a hole-in-the-wall type of place somewhat secluded from South 14th Street. (Hey it isn't called a Road House for nothing!) You will find a cross section of bikers, blue collar workers and maybe some guys from the state pen nearby depending upon the night. It is a popular spot for people from nearby businesses to have a FAC. Service can be good, can be bad depending upon who is working that night. The waitresses do their best to keep up with the traffic. The venue is fairly small. Smoking area is just outside either front or back entrance, there is no beer garden. Parking is adjacent to the building. Karaoke on at least Wednesday and Saturday nights packs the place. They serve food, which is tasty, but takes FOREVER to prepare.
