Amazing chicken! I just get there chicken fingers by them selves! Best way to go! It's piping hot and the breading great. It's also fast and there service is very friendly and accommodating. I will add that the fried bread is good but it's all about the chicken here!

Raising canes is one of my favorite places in Lincoln. However this location seems to always be a hit and miss for quality. Most often it is a miss. Multiple times I have received lukewarm soggy chicken fingers and cold fries. Today I ordered the three finger combo and got home to find only two chicken fingers that tasted lukewarm and microwaved, not fried. I would recommend raising canes to anyone, just not this location they are not at all consistent here. Waste of money.

As good as it gets for chicken fingers. Chicken is probably unlike any chicken finger you have had anywhere else. It took me a while to 'get' this place. They have 1 thing. Chicken fingers. But, they do it right and it shows. The chicken is fresh and hand battered right there as you order it. No frozen pre-made chicken that's refried which is what you get at 99% of the other restaurants out there. Both fast food and nicer places all buy their chicken frozen and it's usually processed and gross. Not Raising Canes. They make it fresh and it tastes amazing. Like Chicken SHOULD taste. The dipping sauce they make is like a creamy catsup with a few mild spices added in. Very good. You can also get catsup and honey mustard to dip as well. The Texas toast is amazing as well. I'm not a fan of coleslaw so I won't judge that one.

I don't get it. My wife get's it. My kids get it. They rave about the chicken, they rave about the sauce, and they rave about the bread. So....if you like going to a restraunt that basically only serves one thing...and you like that one thing...then this place is for you. If you like variety, and would rather eat just about anything besides a fried chicken strip then you should go elsewhere. I'm not knocking Cane's. Their strips, sauce and bread is good. I just wish they had more than one thing on the menu.

Always super friendly and the food is awesome. I always feel like they just cooked the fries and chicken. I can't image them doing better, unless they just started giving me extra free slices of bread. ;-)

Great chicken fingers, even better sauce! The toasted bread an sweet tea are also favorites. It can get a little crowded but well worth the short wait. Chicken fingers is basically all they serve so you know they have to be good!

I'm from the south visiting, so I am used to good chicken and sweet tea. This place hit the nail right on the head! Sweat tea was on point and the chicken was better then Zaxby's, to include the home made sauce. What brought us to this place was the Buy one, get one Free deal from the Hockey game. Glad we went here, place was packed and look forward to visiting it again.

I had heard a number of good things about this fast food chicken finger restaurant for about a year. Mostly from teenagers including my son. While in Lincoln we were looking for a place to stop when my son asked if I had been to Raising Cane's Restaurant I told him no and we decided to go. We went in and the restaurant is well decorated the waitresses were friendly and the food came out fairly fast. The chicken strips were good, I enjoyed them. The french fries were ok. The coleslaw...well not the best, think when I come in next time I will swap it with something else. Overall, my meal was good. After hearing about how good it was over the past year it did not rise to the hype but it was good. I would go again. I think I still prefer Colonel Sanders chicken better. Their Ketchup dispensers poured out the ketchup very slowly, it began to create a line due to how slow it pours. My guess is for cost containment. Nice clean restaurant...it is A-OK in my book. Good fast food.

Fresh chicken, deep fried on the spot and tasty texas toast. Pretty much the best comfort food I can think of. YUM.

Santinia (sorry if I spelled that wrong) was fantastic and explained the canes concept perfectly to my sister who had never been here before and was extremely helpful in the ordering process...which is a great change of pace from other fast food places that roll your eyes at you if you are not ready to order right away/have questions about the menu. She was great!! I loved the food that I got here, it was soo good but the excellent, all star service is what makes it worth a five star review for sure! I will definitely be coming back!! Update: as we were leaving she asked my sister how the first visit was, how the food was and if we would be coming back--yes of course!

Great fingers, great sauce. Always burning hot. Fries are solid crinkles. Just be aware if you don't want fingers, don't come here because that's all the have. Also tons of hS and college kids - however that makes you feel.

I Love this place but it is always busy so I can never sit down inside to eat but that's alright. It just shows how good the food is and the people who work there are so nice! The sauce, as everyone tells you is awesome I can't describe the taste but it really is good with anything even the bread! lol

Don't order a chicken sandwich! Instead order the 3 or 4 strip meal and order one extra piece of texas toast. Use the 2 toasts for the bread, pretty tasty. Boosh!

Very good tasting chicken strips! Sauce was ok; would've liked to have a choice of different sauces....spicy, sweet etc.

Simple, pleasing, and to the point. What's not to like about Raising Canes? It's just great chicken, with great sides. If you are looking for variety Canes really isn't the place to go, but if you are looking for great chicken strips, fries, toasted bread and their canes sauce go here!

If you love chicken fingers, this place is second to none. It's one of the best fast food places ever. And, it is always clean and well managed.

I'm usually not one to rate a fast food place well. Raising Canes is going to be the exception. They do one thing, and they do it well. That is cooking up tasty chicken fingers. They only serve chicken fingers and sides. Those sides include toast, french fries, and coleslaw. They also have a unique dipping sauce. It's all about the fingers though. They have chicken sandwiches, which are their fingers on the toast. The chicken fingers have almost always been fresh in the many times I have gone. The fries are usually fresh as well. There have been a couple of times where the bread was salty, but it is usually fine. Iced tea isn't too bad. They have sweet tea for the heathens as well. If you like chicken fingers, you should really dig this place. If you don't like chicken fingers, you will hate it.

Mystified with how the name ties in with chicken fingers. Food: Raising Cane's is a fast food chain serving chicken fingers that began in Louisiana. Apparently it was named after the founder's dog, but the question is, where did the dog's name originate? Most of the items feature fried fingers, but there are also grilled options. I got the sandwich ( yelp.com/biz_photos/rais… ), which comes with a side of fries. I found the chicken to be really dry and tasteless, but the fried part was delicious. They give you some sauce, but it doesn't add much flavor. It was incredibly difficult to eat the sandwich without a knife and fork as the fingers kept slipping out. Also, they give you one paper-thin piece of lettuce. Everything else is meat. This might be a plus for some people, but I really needed more fiber than that. The fries were ok, but tasted like they came from the freezer at a supermarket. My boo got the box combo which comes with a whopping four fingers, Texas toast, fries, and two excruciatingly small sides ( yelp.com/biz_photos/rais… ). He had a hard time finishing everything. There was just so much chicken! These meals could have been so much better if they were more balanced. I would have traded in some meat for a tomato, more and better tasting sauce, or a side. Atmosphere: This place is bustling. We had to wait in line to reach the register. Every seat was filled and we ended up waiting for a table as well. It took forever just to make my way to the soda fountain to get a cup of water. I do have to say that I like the way this place is decorated ( yelp.com/biz_photos/rais… ). It's definitely one of the classiest fast food restaurants I've been to in awhile. Service: Order at the register. Wait for your number to be called. They also have a drive thru. Synopsis: While I was not keen on the chicken, I still enjoyed this meal. That said, if there were a Chick-fil-A down the street, I would've gone there instead in a heartbeat.

You should NOT have to pay for extra sauce when you dine in, heck or even drive through. We pay well enough for the meal itself.

This place is tight! An excellent alternative to KFC or Bush's. They specialize in grilled chicken, but it's just as juicy and tender and delicious as any fried chicken, plus it's healthier. However, the real strength in Raising Cane's is their sauce. Their "special sauce," as it were, is this mix of creamy spices that's just, well, good. Can't even describe it any other way; one of the better sauces I've had at a chain chicken joint. Their prices are very competitive and they have plenty of meal deals that come with sides, rolls, etc. So yeah, if you can make it out here, you definitely should.

The chicken is good especially with the house sauce but the fact that there are no sides but bread and fries makes it a more rare part of my diet. I wish they had another side choice or 2 I also wish the sauce was sold in real containers, not just drink cups for easier storage in the fridge. This is as good and clean a location as any in the chain, if a little hard to get to due to the layout of the streets at this intersection.

I don't live in Lincoln, but every once in a while when I visit I like to stop by Raising Canes. I don't usually go to fast food places, but Raising Canes is good in my book. If you area fan of chicken fingers, this is the place to go! The chicken is always moist and the outside breading is nice and crispy. The menu is pretty straight forward: chicken fingers and sides. I like to get the 3 finger combo meal, it comes with: 3 chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast and a drink. You have your choice of ketchup or Cane's Sauce. Personally I like the Cane's Sauce, it's a bit peppery and I like that. It's usually pretty packed when I've been, but the food comes out quickly. The drive through isn't bad either, even if the line looks long it moves pretty steadily.

Where has this place been all my life?! So the first meal I had here in Lincoln, NE was the combo box from Raising Canes. It was good, chicken was moist and the house sauce was to die for. Was even good as breakfast the next day. The toast was good, better when dipped in the sauce...same with the fries. I didn't care for the slaw so next time I'll to subbing that for more fries or something.

Best chicken in town!! Awesome staff, and am never disappointed with their food! I wish they had one on the south side of town so I don't have to drive 20 minutes every time I crave it...

Their food tasted like how I would think a urinal cake would taste. Perhaps it was a mixture of their "special sauce" and Windex that one of the employees was spraying around the eating area or the insanely loud electronic music playing had permeated my taste buds. The staff were also having a meeting in the lobby. Thankfully they used a magic 8-ball to make their decisions for them because I wouldn't want to find out what they were truly capable of screwing up. I'm new to Lincoln and was curious, but why would I go back when there is a restaurant on almost ever corner of the town that is better than this.

We go to Raising Canes pretty often - usually a couple times a month - and I love it! I usually get the 3 finger meal combo (comes with fries, Texas Toast and a drink) and my husband usually gets the sandwich combo. The thing I love best about this place is that the chicken fingers aren't just sitting around waiting to be plated - your chicken isn't cooked until right after you order it ensuring a fresh and delicious piece of chicken! They don't have a variety of dipping sauces, however. You are limited to either ketchup or their signature Cane's Sauce. I'm a ketchup girl for the most part, but it would be nice to mix it up a bit with some BBQ or other dipping sauces once in awhile. But other than that, it's a great place! It's busy on the weekends (especially football weekends) and can get pretty packed and make it difficult to find a place to sit, so I wouldn't suggest going on a busy weekend like that if it's your first time. Final thought: any place that serves chicken fingers and ONLY chicken fingers is all right in my book!

The best chicken fingers anyone could ever purchase. The best part of it all is the Cane's Sauce, I don't just dip my chicken fingers in the sauce I dip my fries and bread in it as well. I also like how Raising Cane's is always giving back to the community through fundraisers. Our student organization hosted a fundraiser at Raising Cane's and the staff was extremely helpful in our success.

Move over KFC, there's a new dog in town, literally. Raising Canes is a chicken only fast food hub whose name comes from the owner's yellow lab Cane, he's the restaurant's mascot. The food: Chicken ONLY! chicken fingers or the sandwich is your choice for the main with texas toast, crinkle fries and coleslaw are sides that come with every meal. Depending on how hungry you are you can get the 3 Finger, the BOX (4) or the CANIAC (6) fingers for your meal. This is not ordinary artery clogging fried chicken either, the chicken is fried in a vegetable oil and is never frozen. I'm not talking about "chicken nuggets" those other chicken parts you get in a happy meal. This is quality chicken and you can experience the bliss in every bite! You don't even have to feel as guilty about eating this fried chiccken. The box combo is around 7 bucks plus tax, but worth the splurge. The Sauce: words cannot even describe the feelings I have when I dip EVERYTHING into the Cane Sauce, I've tried to recreate this one at home and it is basically real mayo, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, pepper, and garlic salt. I know that may sound disgusting to those of you who are unadventurous, but trust me, this sauce will change your feelings about french fries and chicken forever! They also do catering for larger parties such as Husker football tailgates. Time: While Raising Cane's is fast food be prepared to wait for more than 10 seconds. This is actually a good thing, they prepare it fresh for you so your food doesn't sit under heat lamp for hours like certain other fast food establishments. Place: Raising Canes has over 80 locations in 13 different states, says their website, but there is only one in Nebraska (this is a travesty!). The inside is always clean and decorated in a modern convenience style with movie posters on the wall giving it a unique and un-replicated style. It's better than sitting at McDonalds but its no Panera either. Verdict: EAT MORE CHICKEN, but do it at Raising Canes, you won't regret it.

Decent food. Annoying that you can only substitute one item. And maybe I'm just a grouch, but man, the little rhymes they make their staff say and the overly excited attitudes are really irritating.

Pros: Amazing chicken and texas toast Great dippimg sauce Cons: Only serve chicken

Truly my favorite fast food restaurant in the world. The chicken is soft and buttery, and the dipping sauce is to die for. The staff is very friendly, and seem to take pride in their restaurant.
