Not real mexican food, ok if you want meximerican. They don't even have Horchata the must have drink with tacos. I suppose 3 stars if it had Horchata. Want real tacos??? For 1.50 go down the street torwards 27th street EL RANCHERO. They serve the best tacos for a lot less.

Environment: whoa. I didn't even wear a bro tank And still I was served. The food was okay, For mass produced, frozen food. Overall, 'twas "meh". Haiku review.

Service is/was SUPER slow, seemed like no organization what so ever. I've had much better service where they were happy we ate their. This place couldnt've cared less if we were there and it felt as if we were bothering them. Tacos were pretty good, burritos were not very good in my opinion. I'd eat there again, but I'll go through my other options first...

It was 9:45pm on a Tuesday evening and I didn't have a lot of options for a dinner spot in downtown Lincoln. I saw that there were a few people inside this taco place and decided to give it a shot...bad idea. The chips and queso were ok, but the fish tacos I ordered were not good at all. It was way too salty and the fish was clearly frozen and reheated. I was not impressed and left hungry after I threw away my food after only eating a few bites. I will definitely not be returning. Too bad, because it looked like it had potential.

Never disappoints us. Sometimes slower but worth the wait. Last night we came in before closing, (not realizing they closed soon) and the lady was so nice and very welcoming and thanked us for our business. We just wanted some of their delicious queso :) thanks so much!! Not a fancy sit down place, but still always very clean and a wonderful atmosphere to have some drinks and eat some delicious tacos.

Very large quantity of food for the cost. College kids will probably keep the place open on that basis alone. The entirety of my "margarita" was a little alcohol poured over ice in a plastic cup. I ordered nachos, and the description specifically said it was made with melted shredded cheese (rather than a cheese sauce), which is the only way I like them. What I received reminded me of what you'd get if melted Velveeta was white. Except with less flavor. Mysteriously, there was also roughly a tablespoon of completely unmelted shredded cheese sprinkled about the plate. For effect? I don't know. I'm sure people who like cheese sauce nachos would have found it okay~ish.

Food wasn't too bad, especially for a broke college student. They appeal well to that demographic of customers. The drinks are what really turned me off from this place. First of all, every bartender each time I've gone has been incredibly disorganized. I would order a drink that could be made in 8 seconds flat, then they would try and get two or so other orders from people around me to try and knock a few birds out with one stone but my drink was forgotten about and not actually made EVERY SINGLE TIME. That got old real fast. The shots are around $4.50 a piece and are 95% drink mix at best. If I'm paying that much for a tiny shot I don't want to drink an equivalent of Kool-aid. And their dollar margaritas are just sugar water. I know downtown Lincoln is full of watered down alcohol but in my opinion this place is the worst case scenario of that. The nachos are what made me give this place a two star rating instead of one. In summary, find a different place downtown to spend your money.

Ate there for lunch today. Had the nacho's, they were good. A Lot more than I could eat by myself. Had some good options.

First time it was good but second time they smothered burrito had cold cheese on it and I asked for fish and got shrimp, wasn't a great experience. On the other hand the Marguerite was good.

Food was good, Girlfriend loved the veggie grilled tacos, and the shredded pork were very good for me. The only negative was yhe wait staff behind the counter was very off putting and border line rude taking our orders

It is what it is, a cheap, quick place to eat, mostly catering to college students on game days. Lots of menu options typical to an American Mexican place, I got the shredded chicken nachos recommended by the waiter. It was around $6 and pretty decent, folks are nice, just fine for a weekday lunch.

It's hit or miss. There is a lack of consistency in both the service and food prep. I went today with a co-worker to give them another shot and I got my food quickly within a few minutes of ordering it, while she sat and waited 30 minutes for the same order of two tacos and chips and queso. It was ridiculous and they ended up giving her the incorrect order. I have liked the pork tacos in the past, but depending on who makes them they may lack in both flavor and substance. They also tend to be out of a lot of soda in their machine on most days.

Was thinking of tacos for lunch so as I was walking there..saw Fuzzy's sign and said, "I could eat tacos here"... so wandered in... Vaguely familiar...of course I've been here before but not for tacos...was a long wait and slow and not memorable... thought about leaving..but they weren't busy. Course I had to wait for 3 people to get their order in...that took forever. Ordered my grilled fish tacos. Waited...They got their food and so did people who came on later. ... finally I went over to the window... They lost my order and had no idea they skipped a number. Told me they'd get it to me...well they finally called my number and the fish was chopped up like it's been frozen and that it had been thawed on the grill. Bland. Watery. No apology.... and I'll not be back...

Sometimes I like go out and some adults beverages. When i do that, Fuzzy's is always one of the first places we think to go. Giant flavored margaritas? Check! Giant beers? Check? Super cheap? Check! Fuzzy's is a great place to go and enjoy a few cold ones. And if you like cold food, you can go eat there too! Menu: standard "mexican" fare of chips and queso, nachos, tacos, burritos. The major drawback (and something I hope the owners notice from these reviews) is that the food is always lukewarm or cold. Service is usually good but I would be happy to wait a few minutes longer if it meant the food was warm. Hot even! It doens't matter what we order, the food always comes out cold. Price: cheap bar prices. $5 for a giant margarita or beer? Yay!! They also have one of those fancy coke machines with a bazillion choices you make yourself. Location: good location on O Street. metered parking all around. you need to pay M-Saturday until 6pm. The restaurant is in the front and if you walk through or enter via the East doors, you can get to the bar. They are open late so they are a nice choice when you want to avoid the other bars in the area. Overall: I like Fuzzy's bar. A lot. So that is why I gave them a 3. The food: not so much. It's ok. It's got good flavor. It's just not hot. I'll take a mango margarita anytime.

Don't order the fish tacos and you'll probably enjoy yourself. Instead order yourself a few pork tacos - but note that they are pretty tiny, so you might want to get more than 2. I found the experience lacklustre over all, but we had a very attentive and helpful person taking our order, thus the three star rating. My quest for Lincoln's best fish taco continues...

If you want a place to kick-back and have some casual drinks with friends, this is the perfect place. I recommend the chips and queso with a raspberry frozen margarita :). The people that work behind the bar are also the best. One time a girl was actually dressed as a taco while she was working, it was awesome. Karaokee every Thursday night! $1 Margs on Monday night! Great for groups of people!

Probably one of my favorite places for tacos in Lincoln. I absolutely love their crawfish tacos. I've always received my order in a prompt manner. I haven't really explored much else on the menu but overall in Lincoln if I'm in a "I'm craving tacos", it's definitely craving those crawfish tacos from fuzzys. I've had the other flavors as well (I attempted to switch it up a little every now and then). The hot sauce is awesome. The staff has always been friendly and overall pretty excited about their jobs. I only rate it 4 stars based on never really having trying much else on the menu and that sometimes if I'm there an it happens to be karaoke night, it gets a little obnoxious. But overall, Fuzzy's is one of my favorite places in Lincoln.

Previous couple visits, OK. This visit I received mushy beans and dried out lime rice.

The place looks decent and the menu selection and prices looked enticing. But sadly the food and service was lacking to say the least. I placed my order with a server than barely noticed me and I had to actually ask her to give me my credit card back after taking my order. There were 5 staff members all standing around watching the TV when I came in, not a good look really. My wife and I ordered chips and salsa for an appetizer and two burritos, one with spicy pork the other with grilled shrimp. The chips were way over salted with their own seasoning made of pure chili powder. The actual salsa oddly came out warm and was not salsa but chilli sauce, very strange. We are going to keep the sauce to actually make our own actual chilli pot. Now to the mains, the grilled shrimp burrito was a disaster, it had about half a pound of guacamole oozing out of it, total over kill. There were only 5 tiny over grilled chewy grey shrimps hidden in this mass behemoth of bread. The burrito was stone cold and was wrapped with over two inches of bread on each end. My wife could not eat it. The spicy pork burrito was edible but that's about all I can honestly say. Plain, average and not as good even as D'Leon's. The hot sauce was the worst I have ever tasted, and that's saying something. It was a habanero base with sweet sickly hickory after taste. I put a touch on my burrito just for a sample and was glad I did not put anymore on my meal. This place will either survive on drunk college students or go down the pan. I won't be going back as there are far too many good Mexican restaurants in town already. If I want chili powder on everything I'll make my own chili not order Mexican food!

Decent food. Unfortunately when we came here, we were told they couldn't take our order for 20 minutes because the kitchen was backed up (the place wasn't even close to being super full). After we could place our order and receive our food, it was great though. Will probably give it another try to see if the service is a little faster.

I had a great experience at Fuzzy's. I had a Pogo card with a deal for Fuzzy's on it, which prompted my excursion in the first place. I had two chicken tacos with no veggies, and they got my order just right. The speaker system is a little difficult to understand so I had a hard time hearing when my number was up (I also have a mild hearing impairment, which may have been a factor as well) But the food! The food was great. The tortillas are great, the chicken was great, I loved the sauces and the feta. I inhaled my two tacos. They had a nice fresh, unique flavor. And the service! The manager chatted with me about my food and when he found out this was my first time at Fuzzy's, he brought me a free chips and queso. Which was also delicious. You can really tell this place cares about their product and their customers. Overall, I thought this place was top notch. I had eaten at Wahoo's fish tacos a couple of times and was a little dissatisfied with their food, but Fuzzy's was just what I was looking for. Keep up the good work.

Food was really flavorful but it was cold! Good service. Had a hard time getting over the cold think though. Decent prices, however they no longer use the pickit app anymore which is the reason we went there.

I love that they put feta cheese on their tacos. Gives it a great flavor along with the garlic sauce. Their queso is amazing. The salsa does come out warm, which is weird at first, but still delicious. And the chips are lightly seasoned and come out warm also. The service is always amazing. Ive been greeted by management every time. The cashier girl is clueless and slow but nice enough. And like I said a manager always come out and takes my trash and makes sure i liked my food. The kitchen boys are really polite and will chat with you about your food. You can watch them make everything fresh. I've been in drunk several times and loved it, so when I finally came in sober i was nervous. But the food was still AMAZING! We sat on the bar side this time and Cathy came to our table several times to check on us and refill our drinks. The two bartenders were sooo nice! The apple pie jello shots were to die for! The margaritas were amazing! I asked what else they like to make and was recommended a Texas Sweet Tea. Warning: This drink tastes so delicious you wont notice HOW MUCH alcohol they put in. Had a great time! The bartender came by to clear some glasses and our trash, noticed our chips were all broken crumbs and brought us a fresh basket! It's little things like this that make such a great atmosphere. Will be back again and again. :)

For a chain restaurant this place is top notch. The Crawfish taco and fish tacos are very good. I wish they'd open one in Michigan.

Fuzzy's is my favorite spot on "O" Street in Lincoln. If you walk in their expecting authentic Mexican food, you will be disappointed. It's smaller portions of tex-mex taco's and burritos. They do their own thing by flavoring the meats differently and adding feta cheese. Their hot sauce isn't typical Mexican hot sauce, its much more spicy and a bit... twangy (is the word I'll use). I like the food and if you go in, you have to get an order of the chips and queso! It's the bomb. They typically have a drink special like Margarita Mondays and always have $2 18oz Shiner Bocks served in chilled goblets. My favorite part of the place is the atmosphere. I go there at least once a week with friends and have a few (too many) drinks and an order or two of chips and queso and just shoot the breeze with the bartender/owners, Randy and Mike and watch every sporting event all at once on one of their 10ish TV's. The bar is a little small and can get crowded, but it's worth the wait in my opinion. 5 Stars!

Unimpressed. Went there twice since opening. First time, it was right about 2pm. Don't know if the lack of business made the quality of the food lower, but the "grilled fish" was cold. Where was the cabbage?! Fish tacos need cabbage, not lettuce. Also, I understand that it was only $2.00, but for the portions I had, I paid twice as much. But, I felt as a new business, had to give this place another go. Went in yesterday, tried another fish taco, and also a chicken taco. Fish was warm this time, tasted better than my first experience. I'm not a big fan of shredded chicken though. I didn't really enjoy the chicken either, tasted bland. Another thing, I usually warm up my taco shells, is that just me? The one terrible thing about my experience yesterday, the "manager" or guy in polo, walked past me 6-8 times without saying a word. He proceeded to walk past me to talk to other customers two tables away. I am big on customer service and this is where they failed majorly. I'd rather spend the extra $2-3 at Wahoo's for better quality food and better customer service.

Great food (i recommend the pork burrito), excellent service, and their bar--loaded with tvs--is a great place to watch the Huskers come back from 17 pt deficits. Only complaint would be the futuristic Coke machines, everything that comes out of them tastes awful, idk why.

Give it a chance Lincoln! I know fish tacos are weird to people in the midwest but this place is a goldmine. I've been a fan ever since there was one store, the OG store in FT Worth at TCU. Here's what you order. Get the Tempura Fish Tacos on soft shell, the chips and queso and a schooner of beer. You'll be happy and it's cheap! Yes it's not fine dining and amazing customer service. If you want that go somewhere else. It is what it is. Good food and drinks at a cheap price. Support this place, don't let it die because it's different! Different is good!

Amazing tacos, burritos, etc. Prices are reasonable, and they have great deals throughout the week. Good beers on tap and delicious margaritas. Definitely worth trying!

My taco shell was broken when I took it out of the sack. The ground beef tasted like shredded beef. The so called salsa sauce tasted like hot Tabasco sauce. Or at least I think it was their salsa. All the employees were nice and friendly so I will give them another try.
