Stopped in to eat here around 3:30 on a Sunday, and it was completely empty except for us, so parking was easy in the rather small and unusual parking lot. Service was quite fast and the food good. I myself had a Linguini Alfredo. The prices are reasonable too. Overall it was a good experience, would definitely eat here again for Italian food.

Had their pizza ordered out. The slices are about average sized maybe a little bigger than normal. The sauce had a ketchup-like flavor and a strange after taste. The crust is not crispy.

I wanted to place an order online, but it won't let you unless you "become a member" and give them personal information. Can't I just give you money and get food? What is it with companies that want to know (and store) all sorts of personal information? So, I called them and got the order placed. The cheese steak hoagies were ho-hum, but the service was prompt. We used to order from them a lot and I remember the cheese steaks were really good. I wish I could just order and get stuff.

Great pizza. I really like the new Double Peporoni and Cream Cheese pizza! Bring that back as pizza of the month for $12.99. I docked a star because I don't like their pasta, sauce is blah, and noodles are blah. To much blah makes me a sad Panda. But the Pizza is great and the chicken cheesesteak is really good.

Hands down the best Pizza in Lincoln Everyone has their favorites, and Mine has been Davinci's for years. Why I like Davincis: 1. The dough is just perfect, has a nice crunch in the crust, and is not to soft and is not greasy at all. I hate picking up a slice of other pizzas and my hands are dripping with oil or fat. At Davincis the dough is king and the fact that they have wheat AND white is a huge plus. 2. The sauce is not to sweat and has great tomato flavor. Just the right combination of flavors for a pizza. 3. The toppings are so fresh and tasty. You can tell the veggies are fresh cut today, not left overs or cut in mass production and shipped to the store like some other places. The sausage is perfect, great flavor and looks good too, unlike some other places. 4. They have Cream Cheese! There is NOTHING better then a Pep or Sausage pizza with Cream Cheese. I know I know, your first reaction is "Yuck" right? Try it. Trust me, Try it and it will be your new favorite. I don't know how they do it but it is so dang good. It gives a creamy quality to the pizza and your favorite toppings, it just works. 5. They have so many good specailty pizzas that NOBODY else has. Cheese Steak Gormet pizza? this is so good I am amazed nobody else has it. Masterpiece Combo, Yum!, Smoked Turkey Alfredo? Who would have thought to do a white sauce instead of red sauce. This one is very very good. I like adding Sausage to it. BBQ Chicken pizza is also very good. They had a Taste Like Wings pizza a while ago which I actually liked, but they dont have it anymore. That is ok I guess because everything else is so good. 6. They don't just have good pizza, but great Subs. I love the Cheese Steaks. These are really good. Much better then PepperJax which I think over seasons their meat with way to much salt and pepper. Davinci's are perfect Cheesesteaks. As for other Pizza Joints in lincoln: Val's is ok, but I find the sauce to sweat and the toppings a little plain. Pizza Hut is way way way to greasy Papa Johns has good garlic butter dip but no taste in the sauce for me. The rest of the pizza options are to bad to even mention The one thing I dont' like at Davinci's is the pastas. They are ok I guess, kids like it but its not for me. I'm not sure why, I like the sauce but the pasta's are just, well. boring compaired to the Pizza's and that is ok, something for everyone at Davinci's You can not go wrong with this place, and they deliver so you don't even need to leave your house!

I had a chance to stop in and grab a quick bite for dinner this evening so I thought I'd check in and then review this place for you kind folks, here's what I found. The venue: Davinci's is easy to find, but it's not so easy to get parked. The lot is a bit convoluted with only one entry/exit and you have to drive around the whole establishment (which if packed with cars can be a lil' tricky for an SUV) before you can leave. Once I went inside the restaurant I noticed the floor was sticky, the layout was goofy, and it was pretty hot in there with a few flies buzzing around. The Service: Upon walking through the entrance a fella at the counter mentioned someone would be up to help me shortly and a moment later one of the employees came around from the back to take the order. It was basically just what you would expect from a take-out place so no big deal here. The Food: I ordered a plate of linguini with marinara meat sauce, peppers, mushrooms, and meatballs. It came out but somehow the guy must have heard jalapeno's instead of regular peppers so the dish was PACKED with jalapeno's! Eh, I'm not super picky and "I likes it hot" so I just went with it. The bottom line: This place is a little scuzzy (at least when I was there) but I guess fine for some quick decent take-out italian. On a side note, I met the most tenacious fly on the planet while attempting to eat my dinner!!! My friend and I literally swatted off this same relentless fly for probably a good 10 minutes! It was hilarious, until it wasn't.... I swear I showered before I left to so beware :D

overrated I have placed several orders and usually (almost always) the order is not correct. I got tired of collecting the $2.00 off coupons that say OOPS. I received a coupon for a Free birthday dinner. Called to place the order and they (DaVinci's) would not/could not fill the order since it wasn't up on their computer. I asked then why did I receive an email with the Free dinner coupon but was unable to use -- the caller's comment was maybe you haven't had your birthday yet. This was true but my point would be don't send the email until their birthday. Last pizza ordered was a lot of dough and not much sauce or toppings. We loved the cheese steak hoagies but lately a lot of bun and not much steak or cheese. We now frequent PepperJacks.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
