Cleanliness 4 Service 3 Food Quality 3 Likelihood 2 1-5 (5 Best!) 3.0 We spent a day shopping West of Fremont and were on our way back to Omaha and decided to stop in for dinner. It was 4:58 and was told the buffet opens at 5:00pm, so we each ordered that. We took our coats off, grabbed a beverage, and headed to the "buffet" the only food that was ready was the salad bar, no hot food was out. We finished salads and I waited a few minutes for food to arrive. I tried getting a refill of root beer, it was out. I told the staff, they simply hung an out of order sign on the root beer. The food arrived. It was about 5:12 when it was all out. After my first plate I asked if it was a franchise location, and I was told yes. I knew that because they are not preparing the recipes correctly. The sauces were off. I watched the employees top fill (putting fresh food on top of "older" food on the salad bar. If they are doing that in front of me, I know that they are doing that in the kitchen. I worked at Val's at 84th Street in Omaha many many years ago, and can say that if I was blindfolded I would not have picked this pizza and pasta out as Val's, and neither would that Massineo family.

Well if you want to pay $8 bucks to eat day old pizza with no utensils and walk on sticky floors then this is the place! Valentinos should pull their franchise from this place!

I was staying at a hotel for two weeks while there for work. Everyone suggested Valentino's to me, so I got it delivered. A small pizza with two toppings ran me $15 and tasted like something you pop out of the microwave. This was after telling me the first thing I wanted was not available even though I was reading off of their menu... Not sufficiently disappointed(and with a severe lack of restaurants to choose from when you're eating out for lunch and dinner) I decided to give them another try. I placed an order to pick up. I ordered the pepperoni zzagos and spaghetti Alfredo (they said they didn't have the rotini, again something I had read off of the menu.) I arrived to pick up my order 20 minutes later... After standing at the counter for a few minutes someone finally realized I was there and came to help me. The nice young man brought out my pasta and told me that they had made something different from the zzagos I ordered. As he repeated this to me I said it was okay and I would wait because the original item he had down for me was wrong anyway. He politely offered me the mistakenly made food, and I declined so he gave me a discount. After fifteen minutes they had finally finished my order. He insisted I take the mistakenly made food, even though I had refused it once already(it's fine, I gave it to the girls at the front desk of my hotel.) I finally sat down to eat and as I opened the box the zzagos were in I was greeted by a box that had a river of ranch running through it; someone had carelessly placed the container in so that it tipped and spilled everywhere. After cleaning *that* up I finally got to try my food...the zzagos were not done inside. I bit into what seemed like it would have been a pretty delicious little treat, and spit out a chunk of gooey dough. I dug through them to make sure it wasn't just the cheese; sadly it was indeed uncooked dough. Forfeit on the zzagos and on to the pasta. Worst alfredo I've ever had. It was an unfortunate experience and I'm very glad that the money came out of my company's pocket and not my own.

I brought my family in tonight for buffet. First off I would like to say that it used to be wonderful with fresh food and good service. That was then...and it sure has changed. We were not greeted when we arrived. The man working the registered took a minute or so to appear to take our order. He seemed rushed as if we had interrupted him. But the food is what we came for. The lettuce on the salad bar had some very brown and wilted pieces. The lasagna looked leftover from lunch, not at all fresh. The pasta and spaghetti were cold. The pizza was old looking and some was even stuck quite well to the serving pan and spatula. To my children's disappointment the ice cream machine was broke and covered with a large cloth. It was like that 2 months ago when I was there last. I paid almost $25 for cold nasty food, poor service, and some of the lights were burnt out. I could have bought better frozen pizza for less! It never used to be this bad before it was turned into Don and Millie's and back into Valentino's.

I loved the original Fremont Valentinos, unfortunately, this one is very inconsistent, sometimes the food is dried out, sometimes they have great baked chicken. It's too inconsistent to bother with.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
