Self-proclaimed(maybe it is written somewhere) hottest Thai in Omaha. We(my wife, friend and I) were feeling like Thai and came here based on previous Yelp ratings. We ran a risk coming here in the evening to what is obviously a lunch crowd restaurant and we were not disappointed. We got Spring Rolls - Awesome. Pad Thai - Not what I traditionally think of when I've ordered it, but still good. Red Curry (Level 3, out of 10, hotness) - Also really good. My buddy got the Siam Garden and was happy. My only knock on this place would be that it shares a wall with a pet grooming business, the same wall we sat next to, and while not terribly strong I could faintly smell "wet dog". Now back to the heat. I'm not a self-proclaimed heat chaser but 3 was pretty spicy, and easily spicy enough for my wife but I think I could turned it up one more notch and had been good.

Love thai food. But this place is super hit and miss. Somedays it the best food you have ever eaten and then other days you may legitimately have to find somewhere else to eat. It is a bummer because it is really different for Bellevue and would do so much better with some consistency.

I have only ordered from their lunch buffet. However it is splendid! Their buffet is very filling has great options. At first you may look at it and see that compared to other buffets there is a limited amount of options, but those options are each worth trying and great themselves. I would highly recommend the food here. I know alot of my co-workers love the food, so I will be returning in the future I know.

Have I been absolutely spoiled by Cali Thai restaurants!? Probably, but even so... 1-10 hotness is measured by # of extremely hot Thai peppers added to dish. Wish we had this info before ordering 4, which was like an 8! I don't like to give unfavorable reviews but I won't return to this restaurant and maybe you shouldn't try it either.... A friend told me 'My Thai' is pretty good, third times a charm?

I'm only giving ONE star because I HAVE to. I was trying to call sina way and ended up calling this place. (Which I was interested in trying) before this conversation. The man answers the phone. I ask if I can place an order for delivery (thinking I'm talking to sina way) and the man RUDELY says No. I pause and was like ummm is this the Chinese restaurant? Because we've ordered before several times... He says NO. AGAIN rudely. So I pause again in complete shock. He says with an attitude THIS IS A THAI restaurant..... I say oh. Well ok then nvm. He says BYE...!!!! Again RUDE! Thank you for letting me not WASTE my time trying your restaurant.....

I've eaten here a few times over the last 10 years or so. Always for lunch and always had their lunch buffet. The buffet has a decent offering of popular Thai entrees along with some typical American-Asian favorites. All of the dishes are pretty good. Some are better than others. It's good for what it is. Asian buffet food. I imagine some Thai food elitists will be unhappy here, but then, they're usually unhappy everywhere. Definitely give it a try if you're in Bellevue for a weekday lunch. Restaurant is clean and generally well-maintained.

First I start with a caveat. This was my first time here, on a Monday, for a lunch buffet. It was a small buffet of the type that generally would have 5-6 tempting standards that were the people pleasers. This buffet today had sesame chicken (cooked to within an inch of it's life and or old birds and cold), red curry with pork (way more bamboo shoots than anything else but good flavor), mushroom chicken (dark meat and again, way too close to dangerously under temp) and the typical fried offerings like egg rolls and crab rangoon. I also tried the poor man's noodles. They were OK but super greasy and a bit chewy for my liking. I did like the fact that you could get Thai Tea for only two dollars more. That'd easily be 3-5 bucks at other places. Service was OK but I felt like the plates sat on my table too long. Would I try it again? The buffet, no. Menu, probably so.

Food is way too expensive for what you get. $10 for a couple cups of fried rice and $4 for spring rolls (they're called egg rolls on the menu). Guy taking my order was a little rude to me and a lot rude to other customers and didn't give me plasticware with my carry out.

My friend from Vegas recommended this place...apparently they must not have good Thai in Vegas either. I started with the Chicken Satay which was either old or overcooked because it was extremely tough. I asked for sake to which the owner replied "they are not a Japanese restaurant" which I thought was odd because they served American beer, and one Thai beer. After my appetizer I had Green Curry which was decently put together but as another customer stated in an earlier review was overly spicy at a level three, which led me to believe they were covering up the true taste, or lack there of with "home grown Thai chili peppers". I have had authentic Thai Cuisine on many occasions and in my opinion this place was sub-standard.

The Buffet and friendly atmosphere are the only things this place has going for it. Well rounded buffet, but small as buffets go. Usually stop by order and wait. Love the staff and the wait is typical for cook to order. The problem for me though is theirs nothing special on the menu. You can even say theirs an identity problem,as the menu is split between Thai and Chinese cuisines. I Always eat off of the Thai side of menu which I find unimpressive . There are much better places in Omaha but for Bellevue this is it. So if your not into driving far this is it. So go in meet the people enjoy a drink, adult, cultural, soda or just water it'll be a bit of await or just dine in or call they are always friendly to accommodate...

Allow me to start off my review with a bit of disclaimer--I have only ever eaten from Siam's buffet. My review is based off of that experience alone, as I've never ordered from their full menu. I eat at Siam roughly once every 2 weeks. I walk in, the owner hands be a styrofoam to-go box, and I head over to the buffet. I normally grab a heaping helping of their delicious red curry with pork and bamboo shoots, whatever their noodle of the day happens to be (Pad thai or poor man's noodles normally), some basil chicken, rice, and a sample of some other meaty dish (Pad Prik Khing, perhaps). There are always at least a couple more American Asian dishes on the buffet as well -- sesame chicken, and the like. The food is always good, and the Thai fare is more than authentic enough to pass the sniff test. On the negative side, the buffet selection is quite small -- luckily, I happen to like the buffet staples (the red curry and noodle dishes). The place is also a bit drab and run down, but that doesn't bother me too much, as I rarely eat my meal in the dining room. All things considered, I can solidly recommend Siam Cuisine, at least for the lunch buffet. The owner and staff are all very friendly, and you can get in and out quickly. It's a great value at 8 bucks, and will certainly curb your cravings for Thai food.

My Special Lady Wife and I are, what you call, heat seekers. We look for stuff that will bring the heat! We have been to a few thai places around and we ask them to hit us with what they got and we get something that tastes good but seems like they are holding back on us. That makes baby Jesus cry in my book so we get bitter. So on some distant memory I had of a this place (I'd drive past it on my travels) I figured lets see what this one had to offer. Right up front I will say this is the Metro's heat treat! We came in during a lull in the day and so service was never an issue as the host was highly attentive and chock full of answers to all our questions. We then asked straight up about their heat. He replied, " You want it hot, I'll make it hotter". Feeling encouraged we orders some thai spiced wings that we swiftly delivered to us and swiftly devoured. They had a good blend of heat with a nice sweetness...they never had a chance. I ended up ordering some beef salad platter that I asked for at 10 on their heat index. My Special Lady Wife ordered hers at a 10 also and she got some seafood platter. In what didn't seem like a long wait we were served our food and expectations were met and exceeded. The taste was there and so was the heat...they didn't hold back at all. They gave us what we asked for and then probably went back into the kitchen to laugh at our attempt to make it through the whole mean without stopping for water and cool air. They gave us the spice and it was nice. And, unlike some places that can't get the ratio of heat to flavor right, this place hit the right notes for me. They won us over and we vowed another round with them. I'll have to return when they have their buffet though as I am a fan of a good buffet! Eat up Minions!

Pad Thai - Not recommended... food is okay, but there are a lot better options in the Omaha area. Pad Thai was mediocre at best.

This was by far the most disgusting Thai food I've ever encountered. The Restaurant is dirty and messy, the Cream Cheese Wontons were horribly crunchy, thin, and lacking in all ways, the Thai Iced Tea tasted like pure syrup, and to top it all off it was EXPENSIVE! The owner is from Thailand which is very surprising since I've been to Thailand twice and the food is always delicious, in every city. Don't waste your time or money, instead just down the street is good Chinese food, "Sina Way"

This place is delicious. I always order Togo and get 0 spice since I don't care for the heat. My husband tried the 4 once and stepped down to the 3, they are very spicy when you ask for it. We absolutely love it there!

Unfortunately, my DH ate here and got sick- like food poisoning sick. He ordered the Pad Thai and Spring Rolls. The food tasted weird, it didn't taste right. He was sick all night from the food.

I will never go back. I was encouraged to give this establishment a second chance, so I tried it again. I went in and ordered some Thai basics; Pad Thai, fresh rolls, and Thai tea. The fresh rolls were bland and lacked flavor. Fresh rolls should have holy basil or mint with an under hint of citrus. When the tea arrived at the table there were visible chunks from the cream floating on top of the drink and the tea was extremely sweet. Too sweet to drink. The Pad Thai arrived at the table, the presentation was awful, instead of having a reddish tinge to it, it was slimy and grey. The sauce was overly sweet, it tasted like sweet fish sauce with pepper. Pad Thai sauce should have a little twang to it from a tamarind or lime flavor. Lastly the condiments. There was no table condiment tray. I had to ask for what I wanted. I asked for some crushed Thai peppers, a staple at most thai restaurants. I was given a tray with cayenne pepper flakes like you would see in a pizzeria. There are many better Thai restaurants within the Omaha metro area.

Great lunch buffet. Cheap! Great food, it is clearly made in small batches so it doesn't sit under the heat lamps long. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered off the menu. We I've asked for it hot, it came hot! Super friendly service. Family owned and run. It's a gem of a little Thai restaurant in Bellevue. The décor is typical of a mom and pop Thai restaurant

Good food at good prices. Restaurant is not fancy but clean and staff pleasant. Buffet is not large but changes, tasty and priced right. My favorite is pod kee mao off menu. I have only been here for lunch and find it a value...as with most places their dinner plates are priced higher.

While this might not be the best choice for a large group (more than 6) at dinner time, it is pretty tasty. I really like that they haven't "Americanized" their spices (I order a 10 and have never had a problem, but I love spicy), and have not had a bad meal here yet. All three curries (yellow, green, and red) are tasty, the Thai Iced Tea is yummy, and they've got a lot of variety on their menu (some familiar items, like Pad Thai, and some things you likely haven't seen before). Their lunch buffet doesn't have much in the way of vegetarian stuff, but you can order from the menu during lunch, so it works out just fine unless you're in a big hurry.

One of my first experiences with Thai food in Nebraska was at Siam Cuisine. While I've lived here for nearly 12 years (yikes, that's a long time...), I wasn't so sure I trusted Thai food to be the same here as where I grew up (Hawai`i), so I stayed away - until a friend of mine suggested we try it for lunch. Walking in, I knew, right away, we made a great choice. Did you know there is one, tell-tale sign that alerts patrons to the authenticity of a Thai restaurant? It lets patrons know that this is genuine Thai food - instead of other Asian cultures "posing" as Thai...? Whenever you go to a Thai restaurant, look for the Spirit House. It's usually closer to the ceiling, may have some incense, and definitely has food and drink offerings. :) So, we walk in, and there it is...letting me know I'm not going to be disappointed...And I wasn't. How could I be? We walked in for lunch - a pretty busy time of day where we were quickly seated despite the crowd, when I noticed it... A buffet line! That's right. I said it. Siam Cuisine offers a lunch buffet that pretty much rocked my world. While the signs are hand-written, and there isn't much control of the spice level (of which they have if you order an individual dish), the buffet does not disappoint. I'm a HUGE red curry fan. Their red curry with bamboo shoots and slices of pork is AMAZING. I'm kind of fanatical about red and panang curry, so when I go up for seconds, it's kind of a big deal. Try everything on that line. There are staples - poor man's noodles, steamed and fried rice, and the like, but there are also some pretty good dishes that, were it not on the buffet line, I probably wouldn't have thought to try. The staff is helpful and pleasant, and they're always willing to make suggestions. Not overly talkative, you are able to eat your meal in peace or enjoy the company you've brought with you. Only draw-back: if it gets crowded, your water/drink could stay empty for a little while which, from what I'm told, is increasingly difficult if you've taken a spicier dish. :)

I've tried their lunch buffet and ordered off of there menu. The curry they prepare is delicious and as spicy as you can handle if you want! On their lunch buffet today they had poor man's noodles, pepper steak, spicy red curry with pork, fried and white rice, and other dishes. All were prepared very well, and the owner seems to take a lot of pride in her craft. She comes out and talks to you when she isn't busy and is very friendly They also have authentic Thai Tea and Thai Coffee, which is a major plus!

Terrible. I love Thai and eat food hot enough to make most people cry. Tried this place and ordered medium spice curry. Food had no flavor aside from heat. My husband ordered pad Thai which was a greasy mess. I am surprised to see how we'll this place has been rated by others but we were very disappointed

Incredible. We eat here so frequently that they recognize my voice & my order on the phone. They are incredibly authentic, great service, & just amazing all around. Check my reviews, I don't rave like ever. It's that perfect.

Siam Cuisine is easy to miss, as there isn't much of a sign on the road. This restaurant is in a strip mall, between a martial arts place and a dog groomer's. Not the best location, but don't let that scare you away! We had take-out from here and my first impression wasn't a good one since it was around 6pm on a Friday night and only one couple was eating inside. The woman who took my order was friendly and polite and quoted my wait time at ten minutes (this was accurate). A steady stream of people came in to pick up orders as I waited. Many were greeted happily by the staff; it looks like they have quite a few regulars. My food cartons were laid out in a cardboard box instead of a flimsy plastic bag. I really liked that because it meant none of it tipped over or spilled on the way home. The crab rangoons, fresh spring rolls and Thai iced tea were all very good, and my yellow pork curry was at the perfect level of spiciness. The pad Thai wasn't up to my standards (too savory and too much oil), but my S.O. enjoyed it and there were no leftovers. Siam Cuisine has a lot of soups and Thai salads on the menu; I look forward to giving those a shot in the future. They also have a lunch buffet, Monday through Friday, from 11am-2pm, and a Saturday dinner buffet from 5-8pm.

Siam Cuisine has a wonderful lunchtime buffet Monday-Friday that is the best in town. The price is $7.50 and is well worth that low price. I'd pay twice that amount! If you like spicy food, there is a Basil- chicken dish standard to the buffet that is absolutely addictive. The Red Curry with pork and bamboo is heavenly. They also feature quite often a vegetarian tofu dish with cabbage - very good. The sauce in the pepper-steak entree is so good it overshadows the premium steak used. All of this lucious goodness on one buffet for $ 7.50? It doesn't get any better than this!

I liked the food fine, but will have to remember for future visits that the spice scale is significantly steeper than my other favorite Thai restaurants in the area. I went with my parents and the waitress looked surprised when they both ordered 4s. We discovered why when the food arrived. Mom couldn't finish hers - her eyes were literally watering - and my dad, who orders 5s at Bangkok Cuisine and other Thai restaurants in the area, said it was hotter than he preferred, too. My "2-3" was also hotter than I would have liked, and the noodles were unusually chewy, but I liked the flavor well enough otherwise. It won't replace Bangkok Cuisine or Thai Spice, but it's quite a bit closer to home, so it will do in a pinch.
