Great place to eat, came across on midwest balloon festival... Quite reluctant to order at first but taste great. Ribs reminded me of "singaporean pork dendeng" and omg so delicious....

Best BBQ I have ever had, hands down. Better than Arthur Bryants and Gate's in KC, better than Stubb's in Austin, better than anything in Memphis. Excellent ribs, pulled pork, sides (BBQ beans, slaw, and tater salad !) and ice cold local micro brews to wash it all down. The sauce is great too with hot and original options with just the right amount of vinegary tang and sweet hot spice. I wish they would move to Colorado!

Auburn is a small town, but they have a real good BBQ restaurant. I had the ribs and chicken wings. The food here is out of this world. Something about how they cook the food here. The ribs were so tasty and tender. I would recommend them if you go. The chicken wings were as good as the ones a Buffalo Wild Wings. The bartenders are so funny. you will have a blast. They also have a cool Keno game. They also have Twisted Tea on tap. You will like the decor and food.

Great BBQ. I am a local but we are regulars for a reason!! Brisket is my favorite.

Just had a fabulous meal here. Totally agree that this is better than Bryant's in KC. What a treasure in a delightful small town. Reasonably priced, "just right" portion size (for the hungry man!), outstanding service and an invitation to return that I don't think I will be able to refuse next time I am on US75.

The food here is really good. The ribs and burgers are delicious. The portion sizes are large for what you pay for them and they have decent drink prices.

I was happy with the food. I'm glad I came here instead of the franchise place in Falls City. The food was better and I got the chance to buy local.

Best food in Auburn. Everything is simply amazing. It is a little pricier, but so worth it. The staff is friendly and attentive. Good options for people who don't like BBQ and awesome salad selection.

Had dinner while passing through town. We had corn nuggets to start - yum. Creamed corn goodness in fried nugget. Great with beer. BBQ salad with pulled pork and BBQ ranch dressing- really good. Chili - good spice and lots of meat. Cowboy melt-two grilled cheese sandwiches filled with brisket- great. Road Burger- good standard burger, OK fries. Ribs-good, tender, juicy. Accompanying corn cob was lame. Our server was knowledgeable and the app came out very fast. Great old brick building. Decent beer selection. Three kinds of BBQ sauce. Two were interesting, one was average. French fries were average. Coleslaw was average. This is a great place.

We ate in Auburn by accident: we missed a turn, going south then east instead of east then south around Omaha. We went through some towns with posted populations as low as 24 before stopping for lunch in Auburn. Hickory Road BBQ doesn't look special, but they have really good BBQ. My wife had two different meats, both excellent. The two sauces on the table complemented but did not over-power the taste of the meats. They have a nice selection of beers, including Sam Adams seasonal specials, but I was driving. If I am ever anywhere near there, I will go out of my way to eat there.

The sauces are the perfect trifecta of flavors. Original BBQ is super sweet, smokey, tangy. Stopped in randomly after finding it on yelp, we were redirected through town due to construction. Food was GREAT, highly recommend if you are in the area.

Some of THE BEST BBQ I've ever had. Rib platter w/ sides were UNBELIEVABLE. The sauces were out of this world. Had one with a little Jalapeno in it and was nearly licking my fingers at the end. Passing through town and noticed Hickory Road, decided to stop in, and was so glad I did. Like I said, some of the absolute BEST out there. Way to go Hickory Road. Hope to make it back some day.
