Had a great Cobb Salad! Very fresh and tasty. I'm hoping to catch their breakfast as the place is very cute and I know that the owners advertise homemade flavor. They also can make speciality drinks. Easy to get to as well. Right on HWY 6. Plus free WiFI!
Great hometown dining. I walked by this place and thought, well, why not? It turned out to have a great atmosphere with cafe-diner feel. It was more about the food than the coffee but it's a definite must when visiting Ashland.
Good, friendly, nice decor. Definitely worth trying it out. I generally hate drinking coffee, I hate the taste. I reluctantly ordered a large to go cup this morning (I was very tired late night/early morning) it was the most delicious coffee I have ever had and I am actually craving another cup.

Cleanliness 4 Service 4 Food 4 Likelihood 3 1-5 (5 Best!) 3.8 This was our first trip to the Famous Parker's Smokehouse. I have heard so much from so many. We were greeted right away, thank you! It was unusually dark inside, almost too dark to read the menu well. The candle on the table offered little help. Our server was young and pleasant. She brought our drinks and appetizer quickly. She did a great job with the tour of sauces. She was not able to tell us what the dipping sauce for the blooming onion. Within a few minutes of delivering the appetizer the food arrived. We barley touched the onion. With the appetizer left on the table, and our dinner, it didn't leave enough room for us to eat comfortably. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. I would not say the portions were large, generous, or "home style portions" as I heard so much of. I certainly paid well for what I was given. One person sent their sandwich back because only 1/2 of it had meat on it. The restroom was VERY clean, stocked and smelled good. GOOD JOB! Thank you. OVERALL, it was a nice difference from our usual BBQ joint in Omaha. Probably not enough of a difference for me to make an extra 20 minute drive. I would certainly promote it and try it again. I will admit I was a little let down compared to all the hype about it. It is VERY good food, and you will pay big city prices for big city portions.
Brought a group of 15 college students here for lunch on a tour through Nebraska. Hailey, our server was wonderful. The food was great and even though we ordered off of the lunch menu the portions were huge. The catfish fingers were really great! If I ever get back through on I 80, it is a definite place I would want to eat again.
We ended up here after dropping in at the lodge at Mahoney State Park as well as the steakhouse that was hosting the testicle festival. Both were dirty and disgusting and did not look like they would be good options. After an awkward conversation with my daughters about testicles, we decided to head to Ashland to see if we might find a better option. We did. Parkers is located in a blue warehouse right between a mechanic shop and a parts store. All three businesses are in identical warehouses which serves to lower expectations before you go in. We were seated quickly and our friendly waitress suggested we order the family platter. The platter is for 4-6 people and it easily fed our hungry party of 6. A side of sweet potato fries made a perfect combination. The ribs are amazing, the brisket is tender and the sauces are tasty. The original sauce is perfect on the meat and the liquid gold is amazing on the sweet potato fries and potato wedges. When we were completely full, our waitress told us we should try the peanut butter pie because it is Emily Parker's own recipe. She said it as though we should know who Emily Parker is. After trying the pie, I can honestly say that I wish I did know Emily. Her pie is awesome and I'm still thinking about it 5 days later. If you are passing through Ashland, definitely stop in here. It would even be worth the drive from Omaha if you are looking for some tasty BBQ in an unexpected place. Right now, I'm rearranging my return trip itinerary so that I can stop in again.

Nicer Subway location than most I have seen. Plenty of seating. Well staffed and efficient despite long line. Normal Subway quality (good). Cool to see garlic bread as a new choice.

We wanted to try this place out to see if would be good for one of the dinner groups we belong to. It certainly passed the test. It's a little ways out of Omaha, but worth the drive. The ambiance was nothing to write home about, but was not a problem. I think we both expected more of a Texas Roadhouse setting, but it was just sort of plain. We got the corn husk nuggets for an appetizer and were pleasantly surprised. They were better than the father-in-law's corn fritters at Thanksgiving. I got the coconut shrimp and it was good. Even better paired with cocktail sauce. It comes with a sweet sauce and you have to ask for the cocktail sauce. But the best part was the hash browns. I was surprised to see hash browns as one of the options at a steak house, and thought I'd take a chance on them instead of the normal baked potato. They were the best I have ever had. Perfect taste, perfect texture, perfect temperature. Lightly crunchy on the outside, and then just melt in your mouth. My wife got the filet mignon and couldn't have been happier. The best steak she has ever had. Was received exactly as ordered. Well worth the cost. She chose the grilled asparagus for a side and enjoyed those also. One nice part was how quiet it was. We plan to bring a dinner group there, and we should be able to hear each other!
We stay out at Mahoney State Park for a weekend in the winter and decided to head up to the Round the Bend to watch the Huskers play that weekend. We had a group of about eight people and got there right as the place opened up at 11AM. We put some tables together in the bar area and were the only people in the place. We told the bartender that we were going to get rowdy and spend the afternoon and asked if that was OK. I guess it was for awhile. We drank there all afternoon, most of us got massive prime rib dinners and we were merry. I ordered mine with a baked potato that came out perfect, mushrooms and hash-browns with melted cheese. Why not? Eventually we were pretty well gone, and the game was not going well and we were cussing up a storm. The poor young bartender had to tell us many times to keep our language down as the dining room filled up with families. That was a losing battle, but we tried. All in all a good experience and by far not the first one here and certainly not the last.
Food was great, but it came out before we finished our salads. Nice atmosphere. They have a patio but it seems to be the place where smokers congregate. They could do so much more with it if they had more furniture and umbrellas.
