I love the food here . I've had steaks here ( always cooked perfectly ) and pesto pasta here that was awesome as well . I'm pretty sure the manager is an African American man and he is super friendly and isn't afraid to get out there , visit the tables , bus dishes , and fill water glasses . I'm deducting one star because if you get seated in the booths in the bar area , sometimes you get neglected . I came there by myself during a slow time and got to watch my waitress sweep the floor and talk to her friends and text message and not even take my salad out until my meal was ready , it was pretty frustrating since I'd ordered a filet , and was spending over 40 bucks for my meal and got shitty service . Other than the wait staff ( minus the awesome manager ) , this place is great.

Finally got to check out the local brewing company and it was pretty good compared to other spots ive tried here in Williston. The parking lot sucks. This seems to be "the spot," so parking is scarce, especially with all the giant 4x4s everyone is driving around here. Walking in you feel like youve walked into a hunting lodge, never been in one, but I'd imagine this place is a great reflection of one. The crowd is mixed but overall casual; from "business" men in suites to families with young children to the Oil Men coming in from the fields, no one rrally gives a sh*t what youre wearing. Select beers are 1-2 dollars and pretty much anything you order is huge! Especially thier famous pretzel starter. I had the farm burger, it was a little dry but I would order it again. They have blackjack tables that open after 5 pm and large flat screens playing sports all over. I like the joint. I will definitely go back. Ladies... just a side note, come in groups or bring a male friend. Just saying.

Delicious turkey burger and I love the price of their gentleman Jack! I love the idea of their giant pretzel, however it seems to just be bread dough rolled to look like a pretzel. Also their meat pizza is on the intense salty side! Service is kind of hit or miss, we've had one girl a couple of times who is just delightful and then another couple who don't really seem to concerned about the customer.

Great service with a smile. The pretzel bread with the beer dip is delicious! Nice beer selections!

Best service and food tonight of the past 4 visits. I'm all about the happy hour half price giant pretzel and $1 all drafts and bottles specials right now. Yummy!!!

Great beer, OK food, downside is you have to go through a crowd of smokers in the front door so you will stink like smoke and have to wash your clothes right away. Management doesn't care. So if you don't care for smelling like cigarettes avoid this place.

Great pizzas, tons of TVs around to watch your favorite game on and the staff was very friendly, wasn't the cheapest but still worth it. Very good size portions

First time I've ever been there. The reason for three stars and not four was the server was absolutely to busy with more tables than she could handle. Food was great. Steak was just right but alitttle pricey for the ounce. Will be back to try it again. Atmosphere was great and a great place to discuss business

The place looks great. That's the one star. I'm giving it that as a yelp user WARNING! The food isn't fresh and the service was so so. I waited for my ticket for 15 minutes while three staff members were within eyes sight the entire time. I got the lettuce wraps. It wasn't at all what I expected. Looks like dog food. The menu states chicken and beef...its (ground beef) and both were extremely dry and chewy which is surprising, considering it was probably pre-cooked and sitting in soy sauce soup. Way too salty! Actually, I know it was pre made because it was brought out to me within minutes. The only prep was pour and quarter a head of iceberg lettuce. Aside from the disaster they call a kitchen or the food that they probably label as fine cuisine, the building is clean and there are TV's everywhere. Great decor and a large variety of beers. I should have ordered one considering my soda cost 3 dollars. I am impulsive and honestly want to give them another chance because the place is probably one of the nicest in Williston, but I felt ripped off from the garbage they served and would hate to get burned again with poorly prepped and bad tasting/quality food. At this point, the only saving grace would be a customer service oriented manager that respects quality and making the customer happy, replying and apologizing for taking my money and serving me dog food and then offering to feed me something better for free to earn my business. A good owner through this page would but only time will tell with this place.....

This is a really hip spot to grab a meal with friends and family! I love the "lounge" area with big oversized leather chairs and couches to sit on while you wait for a table (not to mention the big oversized moose and elk heads!). the bar is also decorated really cool with hundreds of beer bottles used to make the light fixture. as for the food, yikes, the prices were higher than what I am used to for a typical brewery type place - but seeing as how this is Williston, and prices are higher here, I'm sure locals are used to it. I ordered the mushroom burger - 1/2 lb of meat and I devoured the whole thing! I'm usually not a big eater and usually don't finish my meal, but this burger tasted really good to me! and the fries were awesome too, crispy yet chewy at the same time. topped off with a pickle on the side, it was a great meal. and our server was super friendly too! ***edited to note that the fries I was served were different than the fries I see in other reviews. these were not the big, fat fries. they were skinnier and long.

Solid beer selection. Not a sleezy atmosphere. Good place to grab a drink after a long day. Very friendly bartender, let me try many samples. Would definitely suggest to a friend.

Great atmosphere! Came for happy hour. The apps and pizzas were half price and it was like, a dollar off beer. The pizza was pretty good. The pretzel was impressive when I first laid eyes on it, but it was a bit dry and the cheddar beer sauce was bland. The sauce to pretzel ratio was also off. We had the lettuce wraps which were mediocre. It was also disappointing that they only had 2 of their own beers on tap when we went.

Actually went to eat a meal with coworkers. It was packed. Server was nice. I ordered calamari appetizer to share with coworkers and a burger. I was clear about having the calamari on my check and that our checks were separate. Server messed up and said they had a lot of orders for calamari and in other words forgot ours but our burgers were ready and wanted to know if we wanted to calamari with the meal. I said yes and we all agreed. She brought it out and we discovered it was extremely salty..and I mean really salty. The burger came and was huge. All our burgers were huge. Good quality meat..however the red onions must have been sitting out too long..they were getting that unfresh beginning to wither look like they had been cut a couple of days ago and had been sitting out too long. The lettuce wasn't fresh tasting either. Now if it's that busy, they should have everything fresh right? Regular table mustard for a high end restaurant isn't good either especially when they spend a lot of money on brushed nickel salt and pepper shakers. I was anticipating Dijon or some other brown spicy mustard. So that was a disappointment. We ate that calamari but I let the server know about how salty it was when we started to ask for our checks. It was the batter so there is no way they could have done any differently. She would pass the info along to her manager. When it was time to pay the bill, she said they took care of the calamari for me. $16 plus change just for that appetizer. I was like 'cool'..didnt' expect it since we ate it. Turns out my discount was 50% so I asked about it. She said the manager split the discount with my check and my coworkers yet I was the one who ordered the appetizer so we were confused as to why they would give half off my coworkers check. The calamari was on my bill. That was not good you guys!

Best steakhouse in Williston. Slightly overpriced, but delicious. Great food -- steaks were juicy and full of flavor. Great service -- waitress did an excellent job. Large selection of beer as well. Great place, we will be going back!

Surprisingly good place in this middle of nowhere town. I know why Phil Jackson left. But, if he returns, he should eat here. Friendly staff, excellent beer selection, and the food is very good. Tip - share the wedge salad with another, it's huge. The prices are pricey but not awful. Highly recommend.

Just...average. Nothing great, but not terrible, either. I had the jerk chicken and it wasn't what I would consider "jerk" chicken. It wasn't spicy in the least bit, which was disappointing. The fries were better than the sandwich. The atmosphere was cool, but found the music odd. It went from heavy base dance music to keith urban. Server was nice and attentive, but I was also the only person there...

The steak is good but not great. The atmosphere is wonderful. I love the gun door handles. Great place for a group. The pretzel appetizer is awesome, huge and delicious. Their garden salad is great with all types of lettuce.

I've been here several times and every time my food has been good. However, the vast majority of the time I go the service was subpar. I know they have good servers and one of the servers that I had a poor experience with is no longer there. However, my husband and I went to eat there again this week. It was his first time going there and after hearing my issues with the service he was hesitant to go. After being seated we waited over 10 minutes for our server to come by and ask us what we wanted to drink. It seemed like it was a minimum of 10 minutes between every time he came back to the table which was frustrating. We finally ordered a pretzel, sauteed chicken, french dip, and a pepperoni pizza for our daughter. The pretzel (as usual) was delicious as was my chicken. However the bread on my husbands sandwich was so soggy that it literally fell apart when he tried to pick it up. Seriously - you probably could have squished it and had liquid drip out. The center of the pizza was under-cooked as well. When our server finally checked back at our table he asked us how the food was, before we could even comment he raced away. My husband and I were dumbfounded. He failed to notice for about 15 minutes that both my husband and daughter hadn't even touched their food then came back and asked us if we wanted boxes. My husband then explained the issue with the pizza and sandwich. Our server almost tried to argue with my husband over this, saying we should have said something 15 minutes ago. My husband flat out said he tried to but he ran away so quickly we couldn't even get in a full word before he was out of earshot. He then came back with our ticket (which was the wrong one) and said he ate the pizza and it was just fine. Here's a tip - DO NOT ARGUE WITH YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!! It doesn't make you look good and we have no inclination to blame you for the kitchens mistakes. Heck, we even know mistakes happen BUT you don't neglect us and runaway then try and blame us for not telling you. My husband won't go back which is unfortunate because I know they can make decent food. I may just be stuck going with friends every once in awhile. I'll make it a point to go when I know a good server is working though.

Food is hit or miss - even the usually excellent giant pretzel has really bad off days - but when it's good, it's very enjoyable. Service here though is absolute god-awful garbage. No hostessing to speak of most times we've been in and the waitstaff is not only bad at their jobs, but rude and inefficient. You have to beg for refills and god forbid something is forgotten, you will absolutely never get it and will probably still be charged for it. The last time we were here, we overheard the waitress complaining about only getting a 15% tip from another table and all laughed because she definitely deserved less. We don't even bother hitting this place up anymore unless it's to get a pretzel to go and even that service is usually awful. Nice looking restaurant, but nothing else going for it.

Quite impressed with some unique menu options - chicken legs and fresh pretzels. Beer selection was great. Salmon was not as fresh as I would normally want and overcooked, but we are talking about Williston. Burgers looked awesome.

Went here for my birthday. Really nice place! Our server was great. I had a porter on tap that was quite good, lettuce wraps, & the chicken basil pizza (I think). The pizza needed a pop of flavor like adding feta cheese or kalamatra olives. But overall it was good & we had a great time. We'll definitely go again!

I have been here multiple times and have not been impressed. Nice atmosphere, decent service, outrageous prices, and terrible food. The most recent time I was here, they were out of the beer I wanted. My wife and I both ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries and coleslaw. Fries happened to be the best part as the sandwich and coleslaw were both way too spicy. The barbecue sauce also had a really funky taste to it. The other people in our party agreed that it was overpriced for how bad the food tasted and were not impressed either.

Service at the bar is SUPER SLOW sit at a table!!! Also the bar usually brings you someone else's food before getting it right. Otherwise it has great atmosphere the food is consistent and everything is reasonably priced

I have been here several times and it's hit or miss. I have never had very good service any of the times I've gone which is frustrating. My food has been decent but I don't think it is worth the price at all. It's never as busy as I would expect it to be for such a big place and for being so new. I prefer to get drinks and appetizers than a meal here but that could be just me. It's a good place to go if you want a little more classy feel but the service and food doesn't match that.

After three different dinner visits, Williston Brewing Company (WBC) went from bad to horrible. Bad: December 18, 2013. Party of Five. The service was slow & not attentive. I only drink water w/o ice, but my glass was more empty than full. The food over priced. The food lacked flavor & presentation. I ordered the salmon & green beans w/ mashed potatoes, I can make better tasting food for half the price w/ ingredients bought from a local grocery store. Worst: February 26, 2014. Party of four. We started out at the bar & the bar keep was nice & honest to us. She showed us a list of specials that the bar was clearing out @$2.00 a bottle. When we sat down the waitress was not too suggestive to anyone of us & did not elaborate about any specials that WBC offered. The food arrived not as requested a medium rare New York strip was cooked well done & a medium well ribeye was cooked rare. Not impressive at all. Horrible: February 28, 2014. Party of five. We start by ordering drinks & an appetizer. When I asked about any specials from the bar the waitress says "No. We have no drink specials." One more round of drinks & a food order later, my water glass is empty & we are feeling pretty ignored by our waitress. She confused a refill order of ice teas with two sodas. She returns with two alcoholic drinks that we did not order. 45 minutes after we placed our food order, she informs us, after we inquire, that our food order was never entered in the first place. Upon hearing the news, we decided to leave & get some food from a fast food burger joint. As I paid for our drinks the waitress had the audacity to ask for a 20% tip as I wrote the tip amount on the ticket. Lady only got a 10% tip for walking to us water, tea, three beers & two shots. Overall, I do not recommend any young professional of non-European decent to visit WBC for dinner. I work for a multi-national oil company w/ EP operations on the Bakken. I office out of Houston, TX & I know what a proper steak house should be, and WBC is NOT a proper steak house.

Four of our group in this afternoon for dinner. This is our second time. REALLY good food items...everything. Just right service also. I had a filet steak topped with blue cheese...not remember what it was called exactly. Others had a burger, surely a pound. One guy had the blackened walleye, and another had a dif steak. Nothing shorted here, for our two dif visits.

Probably best bar in Williston. Huge room. Huge bar. Brick and wood. Sports on the tv. Big draft beer selection. Good karma. Pro management.

Here on opening night, immediately upon walking through the door I was impressed. Beautiful decor, modern and fun. Excellent choice of drinks. Roughly 40 beers on tap with another 60 in bottles. No selection like this anywhere in Williston. Then the food, oh what wonderful food. Only took the appetizer for me to know this is the best restaurant in town. Excellent appetizers, steak cooked perfectly and fantastic sides. (I recommend the creamed corn) Don't fill up because the dessert is not something to miss. A+ this place has it all, well done WBC!

I'd never been to Williston before so I really didn't know what to expect for cuisine. A friend took me here and I wasn't disappointed! I did not expect the inside to look like it does considering what the outside looks like. The designer did well! We started out with the artichoke dip. The portions here are considerable. I had the burger (with fried egg!) and my friend had a flatbread pizza. We both took over half our food home. I recommend sharing. The service was a bit slow, but during lunch rush I suppose it's to be expected. This is probably the best place in Williston other than the restaurant at Eagle Ridge.

First, there's not a whole lot to say about the only place to eat in town. But I will try. Four phone calls to find out where you are located with 4 different answers is beyond me. The last girl who couldn't get it right I asked if this is the address you are telling me then why am I looking at a machine shop? (The address is wrong on Google and yahoo) and apparently nobody who works there knows how to give correct directions. The margharita pizza was dry and lacking cheese which didn't come with tomatoes. That's the whole point of a margarita pizza. My husbands wings were uneventful and the fries were cold. We ordered appetizers that never came , the dinner just showed up. Strange when I ordered she took the menus and walked off I called her back over and pointed to my husband and asked if he could eat too? She was apparently overwhelmed with the 4 tables she had. Bad bad bad , the only reason I have one star is the coors was cold.

I have been here three times now. First two just beer. This Last time I had lunch and a beer. I usually drink pale ales and IPAs. All three times the beer has tasted off/old. Today I ordered the blue burger which was good. The fries were ice cold. Won't go there again. 3 strikes your out.

We dined in a group of 8. Most of us are from here in Williston but we all felt like we were somewhere else! What a nice addition to this area! 2 of our group enjoy trying new beers & were very impressed with the selection & the choices they had. We ate a variety of items from the menu & enjoyed them all. The wings on the appetizer menu were more like drummies, very meaty & spiced to perfection & served with ranch & blue cheese dressing. We all really liked them. One friend asked for his steak rare & he said it is 1 of 2 places he has dined that actually made it the way he likes it. All of our steaks were cooked perfectly. The one dish that was slightly overcooked was the salmon but my hubby said the sauce on it still made it really good. Dessert was also excellent. We sampled the bread pudding(excellent recommendation from our waitress) brownie, also very good, & the giant cookie with ice cream that is liked an almost not completely cooked cookie with ice cream. Yum! Our server was excellent & made very good suggestions that we enjoyed very much. We will definitely return & especially bring out of town guests.

For Willston the environment is nice; I was impressed when I walked through the doors. The menu is typical for a small-town restaurant, nothing special, very limited. The drink menu is extensive, but by no means impressive. When I see a beer list with 30+ selections, I expect to see a very wide variety of styles; however, the beers were all very similar styles (all light, few IPAs, no OPAs, few ales). I ordered the salmon (which was dry and had an awful tasting glaze) I asked the server if the chef would prepare me a new salmon without glaze. When I go out and spend $75 on food and drink I expect to be satisfied with quality. The server came back and said they were out of salmon!! A lie I'm sure; we were one of four tables in the restaurant, besides good restaurants to "run out" of main dishes! The lobster was over-steamed and chewy. The creamed corn was good. I would rate it with one star considering the prices, but I liked the ambiance and our server was attentive and sweet. I would take Applebee's over this place ANY DAY (for price and quality). I will return in one year to see how things have changed.

This is hands down the best place in the patch. Makes you feel like your not even in Williston anymore. For those who complain about slow service, just remember where you are. Everything in this town takes forever. Wish they took reservations though.

Feels like you're not even in Williston! It's a great atmosphere. Try the wedge salad - I'm not a fan of bleu cheese and I still loved it! Also, the giant pretzel is bigger than my head.

Very tasty food. Been here a couple times and everything we have tried has been good. Shrimp Alfredo was delicious! Beware that for the up-charge you only get a few shrimp but they are huge, butterflied and cooked very well. The beer cheese pretzel is AMAZING and they have really good burgers too! The reason I voted 4 stars instead of 5 is because most of the people who work there don't know enough about beer. We came on a Sat. night, nice and busy, and as we were waiting I ordered the Scottish Ale (nice and dark) that I had gotten the last time we were there. What the woman brought me was an IPA. I let here know that I ordered the Scottish Ale and she told me that is what she poured. I was super nice and explained that this was a hoppy beer and I ordered a malty beer and she told me that I didn't know what I was talking about. I worked at a brew pub and moved here from Denver so I am VERY certain of my beer knowledge so I know the difference between a dark Scottish ale and an IPA. My recommendation to the owner is to make sure that if you have 40 beers on tap that the Saturday night bartender knows a little too. (I used a cheat sheet when I first started with basic descriptions if that would help) I accepted defeat because I didn't want to ruin anyone's night but I couldn't even finish that beer (I hate hoppy... I like beer as dark and black as my adorable little soul!) Food is great though, so def give it a try if you haven't.

Have been once and i will go back. This is a nice restaurant. Great looking menu and large beer selection. I had the salmon, it was a little over cooked but still really good.

Amazing atmosphere and even better food, the French dip was one of the best I've ever tried. We had the spinach artichoke dip, which was amazing, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming which you don't see a lot in Williston. They have a huge drink selection and make sure you check out the bathroom. Overall I was impressed with everything and my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time.
