It's really a good Chinese buffet store to dine in and they could also deliver to my hotel on time. Highly recommended to everyone that craving for Chinese food in town. Oh by the way to say I really like the smiley cashier girl. Excellent service.

Okay... I have reviewed before without actually going in......... the food is still good. I mean for cheap chinese. But I think once you go in.. it kinda changes the way you feel about the place. Pretty small and doesnt look too clean. The booths are pretty unstable. U move backwards.. the person behind u moves forward... everyone is pretty jM packed in there. And the tables out by the front door are half way broken. They make a lot of money in there. Its time for a renovation. Pllleeeease! If any of you from rice and spice are reading this. Fix the place up. Other than that halfway friendly faces and pretty good food. Tastes better when delivered to you. Maybe just in my head.

The food is okay, as well as, the service. The men's room needs a complete remodel! As much business as they do they can easily get a contractor to come in and finish with a new interior after they close in one or two nights! Looks to me that they don't care about keeping up the men's room, I don't want to think about the kitchen. Most Chinese places are very nasty...

Solid choice for some good Chinese delivery! They're always on time, and the driver is always in a good mood. I highly recommend their spicy dishes, they're great. Their large soups are an outstanding value, especially hot and sour. For the $15 minimum for delivery, you can get a feast that will satisfy your oilfield appetite for two or three meals. Overall they are a good meal for a great price, and always on time.

$10.49 for the dinner buffet is a pretty decent price and the food was ok. The atmosphere was rather dingy though. There were also a lot of flies buzzing around overhead. The staff was friendly which is always a plus.

Not bad for Williston ND. One of the workers approached me and asked me why I was taking pictures of the food. They didnt like that I was taking photos which made me wonder if they were hiding something about the food they were serving (were there any missing cats or dogs in the neighborhood?). Anyway, I explained that I review wherever I go be it a Dr's office, grocery store, business etc and gladly showed this person how many places I've reviewed thus far and some pictures Ive taken and took time to explaine how it works. They didnt understand english very well but understood enough. So I will continue with my review. It's suggested not to take pictures of this restaurant though. Different cultures feel differently about things many of us would think this was completely harmless or innocent. Oh..did I say I was a food spy? :O)~ ****************************************************************************************** On to the review: Food was ok. Place was packed for lunch. I picked a few items from buffet..all looked good but the food should have been hotter. I noticed the hibachi grill in the rear. If you like mongolian grill style food, they have it available here but dont expect a large variety of meats and veggie's. The grill attendant must have swallowed a happy pill. He was almost too nice. If you want fresh and hot, get there about an hour after opening so they can go through a fresh batch of food and you won't have the first of the day. Price is def. worth it at $7.99 for the lunch buffet. Not the best place in the world, but it will take care of chinese buffet needs.

Ok food. Nothing special. We ate here at lunch time. Food was hot but there wasn't much selection. Great price though especially for Williston. Place is always busy and we had to be seated right next to the door which made our food cold quickly.

Habachi was good; fresh ingredients & cooked right in front of you. Some of the buffet items were cold.

" it'll make a turd " is the typical oil field review of Rice and Spice. The buffet tastes like typical Sysco systems Chinese food, but the secret here is ordering out or even the delivery. yes delivery. most everything is chicken based. I recomend the "hibachi" or Mongolian bbq. if it comes out bad you have no one to blame but yourself b/c you made it. the 'crab rangoon" or cream cheese wonton are fresh made and quite tasty.

Not bad for a Chinese restaurant in Williston, ND. Hibachi is great, and the buffet is subpar. Still you get a lot of food for a pretty decent price.

This restaurant was a great addition to Williston. The buffet is good sized and the food is above average. Best of all, a habachi grill is available if you want a healthier option.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
