Great service and good food. Since the town is lacking of Thai food, can't really compare, but overall to all Thai I've had it's def a must try!

Coming from the person that has been to Thailand twice this is as authentic as it gets. While the prices are a little pricey for Minot, it's all worth it when I get that craving for some Tom yum or papaya salad ...they have friend bananas too y'all!

Best Thai in town! Phad King is great! Make sure you use the right address, Apple Maps is WRONG. 802 Coneflower Dr is where you want to be, right by Walmart. Great staff, very friendly. Service can be a little slow if its busy, but its worth it.

I always get curry the first time at any Thai restaurant. This place does not cut it. The worst curry I have ever had. I informed the staff to make it as hot as they can. It came out tasting like water down broth.

Food is awesome and unique in Minot. If you like spicy food, this is the place. This is North Dakota and there isn't not many Thai options, but this is as good as any I have had elsewhere in the country.

Pretty good. I ordered the Phad Thai with tofu medium spucy, my favorite Thai dish. I was disappointed in the spiciness, there was none. Completely bland. But, the dish was cooked properly and not greasy like I've had some places. Next time I'd order it spicy or extra spicy and see how that is. Also, very expensive for this dish, but large portions. I'd try this place again to give it a fair chance.

I love this place and LOVE even more that they deliver, on the spot and the food is always super warm and fresh! Prices have taken a huge climb though...ordered lunch delivery for two and it came to $43/without tip:( ....A downside to this as well is that I couldn't even ask them why the price was so high because there is major communication problem! Very hard to understand what they repeat to you as you are ordering!

Great customer service. Very friendly staff. Awesome food. It's not "great for North Dakota" standard of great, it's actually great. This is the food I've been accustom to my entire life. Tastes like my family made it themselves. They gave healthy portions also.

I thought it was a great restaurant. Food was great. Felt sorry for the waitress she had about ten tables and was so busy but she did a good job.

Ate here yesterday I had the beef pad Thai and it was horrible it smelled like a wet dog and tasted even worse. I will never eat here again.

I'm giving it three stars for one reason specifically. Now. I'm usually against getting Togo orders for my first experience but I did in this case. The food. The food was good. Spicy was the perfect amount of spice. I loved the food. The amount? Well. If I was a field mouse, it would have been plenty. Unfortunately, this has been my experience with most Thai joints. They short you in food on take out but dine in is usually satisfactory So. Here's the other thing. Previous to entering I had read the reviews about the nail polish remover smell. Well. When I went in to get my food, I was overcome with it. It's unfortunate too. This place has some owners that are very nice and the service was very un"Minot-ish". [side note:::: MINOT has about the worst service of any city I have EVER visited. And it's everywhere]. Sorry. Got off topic. It was GOOD service. They even offered me a drink while I waited. I will try the dine in experience and sit in the far corner of the restaurant where maybe the smell it isn't as potent and update my review.

Big fan of the famous Pad Thai dish. This place would be rated on top of all the other Thai restaurants I've been to. I've actually been stationed overseas where I was able to enjoy authentic Thai food before and this is pretty darn close! Staff is very polite and can tell they are genuine and not just out there for your business. My favorite restaurant in town!

Stopped in on a trip through town. Service was excellent. Had the steamed dumplings to start which were done perfectly. Then had one of the Pad Thai dishes (#3 in the Noodles section) which was very tasty. It's a shame I don't live here because I'd be back many times if I did.

I ordered their special garlic beef, where to start... with the garlic I suppose it, was sprinkled across the cold dried up beef, not to mention they used dehydrated garlic without at least reconstituting it, imagine dried crunchy garlic flakes on cold beef, the high point of the meal was the rice.

Had a hard time finding a menu . So I just winged it and ordered for delivery the typical dishes on any Thai restaurant I've gone to . I ordered the red curry with beef, Tom yum soup with chicken half order ( I wanted the Tom yum koong but they told me they don't provide that in half orders) and their steamed dumplings. The food was hot. The dumplings were bland no flavor. And I proceeded with the red curry it was also bland . The Tom yum soup was the only thing that was actually flavorful. It was on the pricey side for all three itemsI spent $30+. They should have better acces to a menu & the food was not worth the price at all. Kind of felt like a waste of my money I won't be eating here again .

Pad Thai and Thai tea were both delicious. The service was good and we didn't have to wait long. The atmosphere was nice enough. I like the lighting, but there were some odd decor choices that didn't seem to fit in, like the treadmill. I liked that they were aware of people's food allergies and made sure you knew which items would be spicy. I'll be going back for sure!

Spring rolls are a must dish here if you like spring rolls. I am not that familiar with Thai food, so I will pick out 1 or 2 items that look interesting and ask the gentleman waiter what he recommends of those 2. He hasn't let me down yet. They are always cautious about giving too much heat to your dishes and ask what level of heat you prefer. Location is out of the way, but the restaurant is clean, staff is courteous.

I have been all over the USA and this is by far the best Thai food I've ate. The people are very friendly and they give a great portion. Nothing bad to say.

Short version: Everything we had was good; definitely going back to try more from the menu. Long version: Food: I've never been to a Thai restaurant before, but I have eaten many other Asian styles (Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, etc) ; I can't judge whether or not the food is "authentic" to Thailand, I just judge the food on whether I like it or not. To start we shared a dumpling appetizer. These were some of the best dumplings I've ever eaten. The texture and flavorings were perfectly balanced and were fresh enough to just melt in your mouth. I've had similar (looking) dumplings at other restaurants but the texture is usually chewy and the flavoring forgettable. This is the first place I've been to in a while where I actually plan to order them again. For dinner I had the cashew chicken and my girlfriend had the jungle curry with beef. The server asked how "hot" we would like it prepared. Having never been asked that before I said medium for mine, GF ordered hot and was warned it was going to be really hot (which she likes). I was very happy with my order, medium for me was a very pleasant mix of spice and heat without going over the top. One taste of my GF's was enough to make me cringe from the burn; which she thoroughly enjoyed. I could barely get her to speak while she just savored every bite through the whole meal. I also tried one of their specialty "Thai Tea" drinks, a mixture of milk, tea and what I can only assume is some kind of fruit juice (possibly mango? I forgot to ask), it was very good. Savory and sweet but not too sweet. A very good choice for balancing against the spices in most of their curries. If I wasn't so full from the meal, I was considering having another Thai Tea and calling it desert. EDIT: After a few more visits I stand by this as a 5 star review, I've tried several more things on the menu and been pleased with all of them. Ambiance: The place is very white and very clean. I find it rather serene and peaceful though I could see some people calling it boring. It's also very brightly lit, which is fine with me but it doesn't leave much to work with if you are looking for intimacy or any form of privacy. The place was moderately filled with couples and a few families all eating quietly and appearing to just enjoy the food with minimal noise (even the kids in the place were quiet). EDIT: They also have a TV but it's never on when we go Server: Attentive, knowledgeable and polite. Our food was served hot and fresh with the steam still coming from the rice bowls. Price: All of the dinner prices seemed very reasonable (most were $9 to $14 with a few specialties like King Crab in the $20 range). Our appetizer seemed slightly expensive for how small it was ($7 for 4 dumplings), but than again it was so good I'm still going to order it again. (EDIT: we've gone back and ordered this again, apparently it was 5 dumplings, my girlfriend snuck one when I wasn't looking the first time) Location: This place is so easy to overlook. It's at the far end of a long parking lot next to a bunch of businesses that don't get anywhere near the foot traffic of the Walmart in the adjacent parking lot. And since it sits way towards the back, most diners stop at one of the many restaurants lining the street on the outer rings of the two parking lots long before they find their way back there. Don't skip this (slightly) hidden gem, we've been living in Minot almost a year now and finally ate our way around the ring of other restaurants on the block before finding this one at the back. Overall: It was a very good meal and we both look forward to trying more things from the menu. EDIT: After looking at some of the other reviews that complain about "lack of heat"; I have two suggestions: 1. Talk it over with the waitstaff, our server seemed to have no problem discussing heat spice options (like I said, mine was medium, my girlfriends was extra hot), they can customize to what you want. (some of the menu items are also marked with flames meaning they start out slightly spicy to begin with, the amount of heat spice you add is in addition to the base heat marked on the menu) EDIT: our additional visits have reinforced this, the staff will customize the heat to what you want. 2. There are spice jar condiments on the table, you can further customize your flavor and heat level to what you want even after its been served. I always put a touch of red pepper flake into my rice. If you are unsure what you want, separate your food into little piles and try different amounts on each. I like a drizzle of vinegar and a pinch of red pepper on my Pad Thai, find out what works for you. Additional note: My girlfriend is allergic to coconut (many of the dishes on the menu include coconut in the description); when asked, the server said the chef would have no problem making most things without the coconut. Our waitress seemed well prepared to deal with any concerns and we had no allergy issues durin

It was great food. Unfortunately it's not a known place. The owner should advertise more, great food, clean place, friendly employees..

Authentic Thai food because the owner is from northern Thailand. They're also Muslim so they don't serve pork. New place so it smells like paint still but the food is awesome

Stopped by this place, it is located in a fairly inconspicuous parking lot adjacent to the Wal-Mart here. Without Yelp I'd probably never have stopped here to eat, so thanks again. I'm a big fan of thai food, even going as far as making it myself. Anyways onto the restaurant! From the outside it doesn't look like much, just your standard decor.. nothing fancy. I can look past this easily if the food is up to snuff however. I settled on the Panang Curry (extra hot) and a pot of green tea (would have been nice if they used loose leaf, fresh green tea leaves rather than a tea bag but the focus is not the drink here). The food came well presented, the rice was delicious... so past the great presentation how did it taste? I though-roughly enjoyed my meal, it had the right amount of heat and in a generous portion size. Really nothing to complain about the food, I was impressed and would stop by again.

Feb. 9, 2011 Dinner 7 PM Atmosphere - 4 1/2 stars Food - 5 stars Service - 2 1/2 stars Atmosphere - A strip mall restaurant. It has a very clean and crisp feel. Wooden screens block the large mall windows in the front. Tables artistic, with a four condiment serving bowl set. Plastic place mates need to go. The hanging lamps are beautiful, but the wattage was too strong. Food Appetizer - I am terrible with foreign words so I don't remember the name of it. We were served five minced fish and chicken fried half dollar sized pancakes severed with spicy cucumber sauce. Main Course - I had a Massaman Curry served extra spicy. The spice was excellent, the heat built slowly until it hits max and vanishes just as fast. The curry was served as soup with sticky rice on side. Adding the rice made for a nice thickness. Excellent amount of chicken with meal. The potato cubes were few and far between, and a little too large in size. Dessert - Happy Monkey was wonton wrapped bananas deep fried served with vanilla bean ice cream, drizzled with honey. The dessert was worth the trip in itself. Service - A younger woman worked the front of the restaurant. A little less than half the restaurant occupied but it was like a library. We were seated promptly and handed paper menus, Ordered our appetizer and main course. Since I don't speak Thai so I tried to get our waitress to speak some but that was not happening. The jasmine tea took a while to be served and the tea had not been infused into the hot water. Our appetizer was brought out quickly. Before we could finish our appetizer the main course was brought out. After we finished dinner our check was delivered without even asking if we wanted anything else. We ordered the Happy Monkey and it was brought out quickly. This time the bill was not delivered. We just went the register since she was working that too. The bus boy was the only person that asked how the meal was. A man by himself had gotten the attention of the bus boy indicating he had forgotten to order a drink and asked the bus boy if he could let waitress know. She never came and he had to grab her attention after she finished with another table.

Decent Thai food = excellent for Minot, 2nd rate to the offerings of major cities. Overall, a good experience food wise. The service, however, is atrocious! Just be aware of this when you go in so you are not put off by it. The pad Thai is lackluster, the curries are little too watery for my preference but the taste is okay as long as you get them with a little bit of spice (I usually order my dishes here medium heat), and as for the other noodle dishes, I have found them decent as long as I have them add extra vegetables and Thai basil to them as they're cooking. Otherwise they seem to be lacking oomph. Again, for Minot I will take it.... But, for anywhere else in the lower 48 I would be pretty disappointed.

Been going here for years. Great Thai food, and we all know how flipping impossible it is to get any exotic or novel new types of food served in Minot, North Dakota. The decorations inside are very nice and I actually go here to de-stress/relax in addition to actually getting a nutritious non-fried meal.

I was thankful when I finally located this Thai restaurant in ND but not so much after trying it. The good is okay but doesn't compare to Thai I've had other places. The three times I went they were short staffed and it took awhile to get service.

This is so good, I may go again before I leave! Started off with spring rolls...suprised they had meat but they weren't bad. The Chicken Panang curry was spicy and delicious. The panang curry usually comes with green beans, which playfully soak up the juices and the yummy. Hehe, The veggie drunken noodles and the spicy shrimp thai fried rice were also spot on. Definitely try the noodles. I mean, they're drunken, so they're automatically a good time. ;P If you ask for spicy, it's pretty damn spicy. Finished with the fried bananas. Perfect finish to smooth the spicy flavor left on our tongues.

If you need to grease your bearings this is a good place to go if you're looking for flavor try somewhere else. TomYum and Panang both greasy and lacking depth of flavor. Sorry gave it two tries and bummed both times.

The food was fine but nothing special. The dining area is really open and kinda weird for a sit down restaurant. I got the cashew chicken with white rice. I would have given them 3.5 stars if I could. If you really want thai food this place works.

Definitely above average for Minot. Clean restaurant and good menu. Service was spot on.

Food was really tasty. They can make it as spicy as you like. I really like hot food and this is about the only place in town where I can go if I want something really spicy. To kick the heat up ask for "Thai Hot". It was also the only Thai option in town until the Little Blue Elephant opened up. That place is also pretty good and they serve sushi as well. However, I prefer the decor here and it's easier to find parking here. The turbo beef, cashew chicken are two solid choices. There are 4 condiments at each table: vinegar with a bit of red peppers minced into it, next is dry chili flakes, then soy sauce, and if I recall correctly the fourth one is a red chili sauce? The restaurant does have a crisp clean decor. Oh they also have a separate party room for use.

Very good meal! Had to wait an extra few minutes, but well worth it. For the appetizer, we had the Satay. For the meal, I had the sweet sour shrimp, my wife had the Coconut curry w/shrimp, and my daughter had Phad Thai Woon Sen. For Desert, we had the Happy Monkey. All was excellent, and I Highly recommend this Restaurant.

I'm from Seattle and I was visiting my best friend and her husband in Minot. I was craving Thai food but wasn't really trying to get my hopes up because I didn't expect much out of North Dakota. I cannot believe how good this restaurant was. I had their tofu phad thai and I've had some gross phad thai and amazing phad thai and this was pretty damn good. I got mine spicy and man was it spicy. There was a lot of flavour and I ate the whole thing. I couldn't stop eating. The only thing that was a bit odd was it seemed like someone lived inside the restaurant as there were blankets rolled out near the front behind some walls and a random elliptical near our table. Anyways, try it if you're in Minot and want to try good Thai food.
