A+ everything. I'd be wasting your time with a review. Just perfect all the way across. Well. One folie... No espresso after a FANTASTIC meal and dessert. Other than that PERFECT.

Regarding the Sports Zone, this was our go to place to eat until the last couple of visits. Our waitresses have been less than attentive. One night we came for the steak special, as we also wanted to partake in the drink special happening in the club section, so we didn't have much time before hand. Our waitress could be found most of the time at the table full of boys taking selfies with them (I know for a fact as one of my other friends who weren't there received a couple of them during our meal) or back in the kitchen for long periods of time. We eventually went to the bar to ask for our bill. Suffice to say we didn't leave the best tips. The next week we came back for the wing special. We weren't asked if we wanted drinks(we did). Just given two waters, she came back and took our orders (the food was pretty delicious), filled our water glasses, and brought us our tabs. We were not asked if we wanted anything else (we did). She also did not thank us for coming. We left no tip that day and have not been back. We also don't intend to go back for awhile. We were told by another party we were treated like this because one person in the party doesn't tip well. We would tip better for better service. I'm sorry that the servers feel this way about us now, as it is very good food, but I am not going to tip money I earned to be ignored. We do eventually plan to come back and give it another shot, just not for a long long while.

Try to avoid this place at all cost. The owners have the I know it all attitude pushing cheap drinks and bar fights all that comes out of here. They could do so much more for the area then what they are currently doing.

I've eaten here once before and that was, overall, a positive experience on all points. Last night, though, was full of miscues. My fiance and I met friends for a dinner/birthday celebration. Our server, to her credit, juggled all of us with polite courtesy despite some (what I would consider) difficult parts of the service (her having to deal with odd, but legitimate questions, dry sarcasm/quasi-rude questions from one of the dinner party) small quirks. Drinks were always filled (except for mine) and apps came out on-time and were hot. This is where it gets dicey. The young man who was delivering the food to tables was either new or just not well-suited to a service/customer-facing position. My caesar salad was set down at the far side of the table in front of a friend with a curt, "Enjoy." before he walked off. The salad had to be passed down by four people before getting to me. Past that, the salad was fine. It wasn't the pinnacle of salads, but it tasted fine. Next came our entrees. My plate was, again, delivered to the wrong end of the table and several other people had to pass it amongst each other for it to get to me. This was also the case with the plates of two other people. The young man in question just stared blankly; no offer to make right his mistake, then he walked off without a word. I ordered the Tuna Fusion and was hopeful that it would be awesome. It, however, was not. The tuna was overdone, very under-seasoned, and tasted either frozen or freezer-burnt and was rubbery. The dressings that came with it were likewise very unappealing. The (what I think was) wasabi mayonnaise was horrible - it tasted like raw mayo, but only light green in color. The bills were their own circus of issues. Our server split everything appropriately, but there were a lot of unanswered questions about service charges, gratuities, and triple-charging for drinks (lemonade). I'll likely give the place another shot, but was just very put-off by everything that went sideways last night.

I'm mainly giving 4-stars to the OB Grille side-of-things here. We go here quite often for the good and atmosphere. It feels like you're going back to the 50's in here with the lighting and music and its very relaxing. Unusually get the smothered sirloin and its spectacular. I discovered the concept of medium-plus here for my steak and most times it's been great. Hands down the best cream corn at any restaurant that I've ever been to. Its the narcotic of corn...I can't get enough! They also make a good hot toddie, a little too lemony but overall one if the best downtown (third to Dempsey's and HoDo). The actual OB side is not my, nor probably most adults over 25 that aren't thuggin' it's, scene. Its way too much of a 'lets get trashed' and wear straight-brimmed hats tilted all weird to the side-ish. I can maybe walk through the dance side with ear plugs and blu-blockers on to get to the Sports Zone but thats about it. But hey, if you are in college or like to dance to g-funk crunk crap you will probably like it. The OB Sports Zone side is also pretty cool and they have good wing baskets and a cool little section to watch games. I wish they were still open Sundays, though. My recommendation is the OB Grille side.

This is the largest bar in Fargo. There are three sections: Drunken ShitShow Dance Party, Rowdy College Bar, & Chill Drunk Blackjack. They had some specials even though it was a friday night so that was a nice surprise. This seems like the place to go at the end of a night of many many cocktails to get a bit reckless.

I've been here a few times at night during the weekends, and every time that I've stepped inside, I instantly want to spray Febreeze everywhere and rub antibacterial hand sanitizer all over everyone and everything. Might be fun if you're looking to get drunk, get creeped on, and grind up on sketchy strangers. Otherwise, avoid this place.

Best thing: nothing Worst thing: everything I've heard terrible stories about this place but will only review my experience. I've been here twice, once for a birthday, the other for a bachelorette party. Both times the bathrooms were disgusting and the patrons were atrocious. Sleazy, slutty, cheap jersey shore people dancing around to very loud music and being obnoxious. Men will hit on you in a very nongentlemanlike manner. Everything about this place is the opposite of what I look for in a bar. If you want to go to a place where the women dress like harlots, the men act like pigs and everyone behaves like an idiot, this is your place. I try not to judge harshly but I hate this place. I've never been here for food, nor will I. I'm never setting foot in this place again.

Good food, good service. Eaten here twice and both times were very good. Would certainly recommend.

Hands down some of the best soups in town! Both the Chicken Tortilla soup and the Beer Cheese soup are classics and favorites. Another goodie you may have not tried is their Chef's Salad. There is an awesome amount of diced meats (ham, turkey, etc.), a cheese assortment, sliced hard boiled eggs and more all served on this massive platter. I can't forget that every time I have ordered this, it has been perfectly fresh. There are about a dozen different dressings to choose from so plenty of options!

My step-mother was in town and invited me out for lunch and drinks at the OB and I was excited because I'd never eaten there. I was disappointed. My step-mom ordered a margarita which was about the smallest I'd ever seen and served in a martini glass and overpriced for what it was. Her friend ordered white wine in a red wine glass and the waitress seemed VERY inconvenienced. In fact, the waitress seemed very inconvenienced the entire time we were there. She was abrupt and borderline rude, and by the time I was actually able to order and get my food, she made me feel like it was a complete mistake to even think about eating there. The Chicken Caesar Salad I had was actually very good, but not worth putting up with a pissy waitress.

I've never had a bad meal here and the service is outstanding! Lots of bars and restaurants downtown but the OB is still the best by far.

*** review for bar only*** I did not eat at this place, so can't comment on the food. A friend and I went on a little bar crawl to see what Fargo had to offer, so this was our first stop I think. The bartenders were nice & we got beverages in hand relatively quickly, so that made me happy. They also make a pretty decent dirty martini! The mixed drinks were a little light on the alcohol, but overall not a bad place to grab a drink. It's kinda loud, but not so loud that you can't have a conversation with someone. I wouldn't mind stopping in for a drink again.

Apparently I was visiting the area on the right night. As the OB has wine club night every Thursday. With membership ($30/yr or about $5 for a day pass) one receives three generous tasting samples as well as a full glass of their favorite. Beyond the wine, I also had the Blue Bacon Burger with sweet potato fries, which I must say, was pretty amazing.

Who would have thought that a restaurant in Fargo has international connections! The fish used for the fish fry comes from Lake Victoria in Africa according to the manager. And it's outstanding. It's even a tad better than the fish at Hodo Lounge, and I went nuts over that. That and a fresh squeezed lemonade were a great start to a Friday. I try not to repeat places I'm visiting, but I'll always hit Old Broadway.

Probably a 3.5 of 5. The food is mediocre but the menu has a good variety and the staff is friendly. We have never eaten anywhere but at the bar, so I am not sure about service in a booth.

The shots and drinks are watered down, it takes a while to get service, Dj plays same old crappy songs and top 40 and when people are not dancing he plays Cupid Shuffle without fail to bring ppl to dancefloor, dance floor is small and crowded, and for some reason everyone brings their drinks on the floor to spill it on themselves and people around them .. the only time i recommend you to go is on FRI 7-9 for pay the day when you pay the date amount in cents for a glass of beer and SAT 7-9 for 50 cent pints and dont have the long island even though its 50 cents .. its watered down.. after 9 get the hell out of there

This place committed two of my cardinal dining sins in the first 10 minutes. Blindsiding me with a gross wedge salad and bringing my food before I was even remotely close to being done with said salad. Okay, I don't know if it's just me, but let me start by saying that I think wedge salad is the culinary equivalent of asking a hotel guest to make their own bed. You just chop a head of iceberg lettuce in half twice and stick it on a plate. Then you throw some other crap on there with it, and voila- salad. Lazy. Or at least this particular version of it was. It was a cross-section of a head of lettuce that I would definitely have passed over if I saw it in the grocery store. They sprinkled a handful of hard-boiled egg on it (GROSS!) and some bacon. If I had been warned that the side salad was this, I'd have seen in the description, and asked for no eggs, or yet, forgone the salad completely. So I was disappointed, it took me a while to scrape all the gross bits of egg out, which slowed me down in eating. Someone dropped off my main entree, the "spicy BBQ chicken wrap" next to me and all she said was "Okay." Uhm, what? I barely realized that food was for me. If someone had been sitting next to me, I definitely wouldn't have realized it was mine. So on to the entree. So, I named it above and I put it in quotations- because really, there was nothing spicy about it. "Spicy" was what drew me in! Okay, so there was also supposed to be avocado in it. I didn't see or taste any avocado. Disappointing. The wrap was tasty enough, but nothing special. Honestly, the highlight of my meal was the sweet potato fries that probably were frozen in a bag from Sysco. I actually was so annoyed by the end of my meal that I didn't even finish my beer because I was ready to get the hell out of there. My check for this debacle totaled over $20 for one person. Decent, but not for what I got. I might give this place another try, but probably only for drinks. And only if I wanted a beer, because I imagine I can get a better cocktail somewhere else down the street.

"A Once Great Eatery" For the past 5 years, I have been going to Old Broadway once every couple of months and the decline has been getting greater and greater every year. The final feeling comes from my last visit. Service The waitstaff is the absolute worst. Whether they are getting my order wrong (how can you confuse beer cheese and tortilla soup...TWICE) or completely ignoring a table - the waiters and waitresses at the OB are guilty. Management isn't any better. They didn't respond to complaints. Food Nothing to write home about here. Basic fare and the kitchen must not understand how to completely cook meat till done. My guest ordered a chicken caesar salad and when it did not arrive with chicken on it, they took it away - BUT returned with pink chicken and a giant red vein running through a cold piece of meat. Yep, almost completely raw. When we complained about this, we were told - "I don't think you ordered chicken anyway" Price Not worth the dollar amount. Anything that was good???? They have a bananas foster for dessert that is AWESOME. It is the only thing that could convince me to try this place again...but only after a few drinks. Side Note They also have the worst bathrooms and sometimes you have to walk through their rude nightclub doormen to get to the other restrooms

Having only dined in the restaurant portion once, I'd say the food is good. I had a salad. Whatever. I will agree that the OB thinks they are more high-class than they can pull off. I'm just not buying it. A regular of the downtown bar scene, I'm more familiar with the bar. The "O. B. City Club" which when spoken quickly sounds like "Obesity Club". Unfortunately this is the best 'dance club' that Fargo has to offer. I've had the urge to confront many a DJ here and ask if he has heard any music produced after 2006. Seriously, last time I was there I left the dance floor when 'Get Low' (released in 2003) was played. Worst of all, the crowd eats that crap up. The OB always seems to attract the skanky girls who think they're hotter than they are and the Hollister-clad d-bags who love them. Not really the OB's fault, just Fargo culture in general. OK, seriously, why doesn't this place have a coat check? If I'm going out, I'm going to dress nicely. Maybe Fargo doesn't get that, but most places in the world abide by these norms. I don't like having to take off my expensive coat and throw it onto a pile on the floor. Last time someone spilled a drink on it. This is North Dakota, you should be able to make a fortune with a coat check. The drinks are cheap and they have great specials though, so usually I can get tanked enough to enjoy myself with my friends, despite the music and other patrons. Like I said, this is the best option I've got here so I'll make do. Having just moved back to Fargo from New York City, where I was drinking bottle service and dancing in the best clubs, I just wish there were another place downtown that could satisfy my clubbing needs.

I love Old Broadway and under Yelp ratings it meets the "Yay! I am a fan" criterion. As a sports bar, OB is a 5 all the way. I've only been in Fargo during summer, but I would love to come back one weekend to see a football game in the Fargodome and watch a Vikings game at the OB, I am sure it is a blast. If you are looking for a fun place to hang, throw back a few brews, chat with friendly locals and just have fun in general, OB is hard to beat.

The food is SUPER! The tuna fusion is very, very good. The two sauces that are served with it are perfect. The sweet potato fries are cooked just right a very plentiful. As good as it get!!

I do like eating at the ob grill and the sports area is pretty cool for Sunday football/baseball games, but don't go into the dance area on a saturday night unless you want to get groped by a bunch of unwanted strangers! just saying!

I've been to Old Broadway a few times and have always enjoyed it. The place isn't as high class as it wants to be, so once you get past that, the food is pretty tasty and the service is nice. I never went to Old Broadway back in Christopher's time, so I don't know what the dance club part was like. Half of the place is still that dance club / bar from what I can tell, but that doesn't intrude on your experience in the restaurant.

A little crowded during peak hours on the weekends. Good drink specials from 8-11 Friday and Saturdays. Shots are kind of weak but what do you expect for 2 dollars.
